Black Tie: Book One of the Sparrow Archives Page 36

by Kieran Strange

If anything ever happens to me, Sparrow... I want you to be happy. I want you to go out there, like the sexy bitch you are, and be the most badass motherfucking nightmare that ever plagued the sleep of those pricks in Washington.

If I ever look up at ya, and you’re being a miserable little fuckwad and refusing to move on? I’m gonna come back up there somehow, and kick your goddamn ass.

  And you’d better believe it.

And then... there was nothing but Elliot. The taste, the touch, and the texture... Cabe’s hands slid beneath the warm water, curling around the smaller man’s waist and drawing him into his own chest as Elliot released his mouth, smirking up at him.

  “You’re all wet, Agent Sparrow.”

“I know,” Cabe replied, in a darker, racier undertone that Elliot hadn’t heard before, and from the way Cabe was pressing against him, the executive would know exactly where the provocative inflection was coming from. “But I make it look so, so good...”

Their lips clashed once, twice, and then they were waging all-out war against Cabe’s attire, stripping off his soggy jacket and yanking his tie and belt loose. Right before he dragged his Sparrow even deeper into hot water with himself by the collar, Elliot Wright took the moment to whisper in his ear:

“Just so you know, Peaches... I’m still really not looking for any kind of relationship or contract or an excessive amount of baggage to go along with all this...”

“Don’t even worry about it, sir,” Cabe gasped back, inches from losing his mind to the surge of desire that had overwhelmed it... a desire for closeness, for intimacy, for... for something to make him feel a little less numb, and a little more alive.

“That’s not what I need right now either...”

  About the Author

He’s been compared to David Bowie, Tony Stark, Ramona Flowers, Hawkeye, and Tank Girl! – but IRL, he’s Kieran Strange, a quirky and powerful young artist blending pop sensibilities, dynamic guitars, and high-energy live rock shows into his own brand of

geeky British pop-punk. At the age of seventeen, he left his parents, family, and small English fishing village behind in order to chase his dream of making music; he travelled to Vancouver (Canada) where he now resides, writing and performing songs about rebellion, relationships, and RPGs.

Standing firmly as a voice for the different and discarded, Kieran came out publicly as genderfluid in 2014 with the release of the Tear Down The Wall music video. After discovering more about his own gender identity whilst working with the crew of The Switch sitcom (currently playing on OutTV), he then changed his pronouns from “she” to “he” in the summer of 2016 when he publicly adopted the “transgender” identity.

These days, he always makes sure he is open, outspoken, and passionate in his beliefs; some of the causes he fights to support include LGBTQ+/SAGA issues and rights, feminism, autism awareness, racial equality, refugee and immigrant rights, many forms of mental health and suicide awareness, and more.

Hot on the heels of his past releases – Adamantine Heart (2012) and Last Hero Standing (2015) – the bedheaded geek has toured multiple countries (including Canada, USA, UK, and Japan), and played hundreds of shows, conventions, and festivals. In the summer of 2016, Kieran joined forces with Dave Kitsberg – a Twitch streamer, tech nerd, and convention guest veteran of eleven years who has performed with the likes of Lemon Demon, the Spoony Bards, Random Gibberish, Time Crash, Arc Impulse, and even voice-acting sweetheart Caitlin Glass.

Together with drummer (and chicken wing enthusiast) Arnell Damasco, Kieran and Dave are delving into the world of geek parody songs, as well as writing fresh original concept material influenced by V for Vendetta, Attack on Titan, Marvel, Final Fantasy, Firefly, and more of their collaborative geeky inspirations. This cache of new music the trio are working tirelessly on is set to be released in 2017 under the band name WE ARE THE CHAOS!

Prior to that, however, Kieran and his bandmates recently released a cosplay music video (shot in Detroit, MI at Youmacon 2015) to his song INVINCIBLE in November 2016, soon to be followed closely by their brand new Captain America: Civil War inspired single: Legacy! Make sure you catch up with them on their social media or subscribe to Kieran’s mailing list so that you don’t miss out on any sneak peeks or pre-orders!
