Searching for the Kingdom Key Page 28

by TylerRose.

They walked made small talk and her attention was drawn to a familiar face. The man she’d sold the Landers ship to when she’d first arrived on the station. He was determined, on a mission, but one that wouldn’t take place for a while yet. He didn’t have a room. Didn’t have a ship. He’d sold the Landers ship as soon as he’d made his destination the next day. He’d come back on a transport from K’Tran.

  Interesting.

“You are a million miles away,” cut through her thoughts inside her head.

She blinked back to the moment to see Shestna holding a bracelet and looking at her like he expected an answer.

  “Yes, I was,” she replied.

“I asked if this is something you would like.”

  “I don’t wear bracelets much.”

“But you do like rings. What is this one?” he asked, lifting her little finger to see the half black and half white ring.

“A little man walked up to me and gave it to me. Said I’d be needing it.”

“Needing it?” he questioned. “That’s very odd.”

“Said something about a place called Sanctuary.”

At once his energies changed, strong enough that she felt it.

“What?” she asked, seeing how hard he was looking at that ring.

His eyes slid over to look at her with a hardness to them that she’d not seen in him before.

“Do not ever take this ring off. Not for any reason. Not even to shower or wash hands. Do not ever give it to anyone. Do not ever tell anyone who gave it to you or what they said.”

  “Okay. What’s the big deal?”

  “Not here.”

They arrived in her penthouse, teleported by her.

“No one else is here,” she said. “What’s the big deal?”

“Sanctuary is a very real place. Many say it is legend or myth but it is real. It is the place where the Immaculate, the goddess who created this galaxy, now resides. At the center of the Milky Way. Eventually scientists will determine it is a black hole. At the center of that black hole is a planet that neither is nor is not. Looked for, it cannot be seen. Her Caretakers live there with her. They help her release her energy into the galaxy to make new life. In that sense, she is the mother of us all and all people and things are brothers. It also is a place of solitude and safety for those who are unreasonably persecuted. There may come a day when you are in such danger that there is no safe place to go and no one you will trust. That is when you call out to Sanctuary.”

“How do you know this place exists. Have you been there?”

“I know someone who has been there. If Earnol wanted you out of the way when Earth was attacked; wants you far from him and far from Earth in a most dangerous time, then there is something far more important about you. If he could kill you himself, I’m sure he would. The thing you need to learn is why.”

“I can’t do that from here,” she scowled.

“No. You cannot. Do what must be done and return to your proper place in time and get to work finding out,” he advised her. “I will go now and do some more poking around. Now you really have my curiosities up.”

“Well, while your curiosity is up, ask Alen to look into a couple things for me.”

  “What?”

She told him and he was gone, leaving her annoyed again. But she didn’t want to go back to the church. She would have to make do with two songs an hour until tomorrow.

During her third set, the mystery man she’d sold the Landers vessel to came into the Strip Club. Quiet as could be, he approached a man from behind. No one noticed as he slipped his arm around his target and choked the life out of him. The audience was too focused on the stage, on her. And he knew it. He was using her as a distraction. She finished her song and he finished off his victim. Both men broadcast the reason and she did nothing about it. Song ended, she walked down the stairs and teleported to the transport hub the assassin headed for.

“Hi,” she smiled, stepping in front of him at the lift. “I sold you a ship a couple weeks back. Get you where you needed to go?”

“It did. Now I have to leave.”

“Oh, why? A night alone with me is a perfect alibi for all kinds of things. Let’s have a wonderful night neither of us will ever forget…or tell our respective grandchildren about.”

He grinned. “Your place or mine?”

  “We’re already in my place.”

The lift opened and she flashed her card.

  “Penthouse.”

“Penthouse? You were just arriving in a stolen Landers vehicle and now you live in the penthouse of this place?” he questioned.

“Interesting how the universe works, isn’t it,” she smiled up at him.

The door opened to an empty apartment.

“Bar’s over there. Pour us a drink while I change into something more appealing,” she said, locking out the lift and teleport pad and heading for the corridor.

“Naked on the sofa is fine,” he said. “I’m not much for preamble.”

“Then pour us a drink and meet me in the bedroom.”

She was out of her clothes and into a silk robe, standing at the windows staring in the direction of Earth, when he came in with a bottle of Sistarian Gin and a single glass.

“I have no interest in being a father,” he said.

  “I can’t have kids.”

  “I’ve heard that before.”

She laughed. “Wanna see a picture of my cervix? It doesn’t have an opening. I cannot conceive.”

“That is convenient. Are you Sistarian?” he asked, pouring a mouthful into the glass and giving it to her. “I understand that is common among them until the girl reaches a certain physical maturity.”

Could that be the reason? she wondered, and tossed the clear alcohol down her throat. She chose to pretend, for now, that she’d not heard someone tell her she was largely Sistarian. He poured an equal amount, drank it down, and put the bottle and glass on the nearest flat surface.

Standing too close, looking at her in the robe.

“Don’t you hate those first few minutes when you’re not sure just how far the chick is willing to go?” she asked quietly, lifting a knee to put her foot on the window and causing the robe to open a bit. “If she’s really going to put out or will send you packing once you start. If she likes what certain other women you know…like.”

He moved in closer, looking down at the cleavage of white breasts.

“If she likes what you like,” she said.

His hand stretched around the front of her throat, thumb straight up under her chin to tilt her face upward. Firm enough she had to go with it, gentle enough he didn’t hurt her. Saying nothing.

“If she’s going to complain afterward that you were too rough,” she said, looking him in the eye.

“Are you?” he asked, pulling the end of a sash loop with the intent of opening the robe fully.

She smiled. “I’m liking all the things you’re thinking so far.”

  “You’re a telepath?”

She made no reply. His hand left her throat to slide the robe off her shoulders and to the floor.

“Very nice,” he rumbled. “You’re liking all the things I’m thinking?”

“Well, keep your knives to yourself. I have no interest in that. I’d rather like the point of this to be mutual pleasure, not being a dick and proving that I’m not willing to go as deep into the pain as you might want.”

  “Mutual pleasure,” he repeated.

“I invited you. I’m already willing enough. There’s no need to ruin it by being so hard I don’t want to play again another time. There’s no point in that. The goal should be to leave me looking forward to your next visit. Don’t you think?”

“Agreed,” he said, and picked her up with a forearm between her legs and his other arm behind her shoulders to carry across the room to the bed.

He tossed her onto it, continuing with inertia to push her knees up and apart.

“I like to taste my women b
efore I have them,” he said as his mouth went directly for the fine blonde muff.

An intimate touch of soft mouth on softer flesh, wet tongue on wetter flesh. One she’d not had since…since…Sudden hard orgasm ended that line of thought. She hadn’t had a good fuck in forever.

He had skills and she’d gone without for too long. He had her giving a good gush within three more orgasms, and chuckled to himself as he backed away to undress. She watched, enjoying the visual of girth and length of his cock.

  Oh yes, definitely compatible.

“Seems you’re in need of some attention,” he said, returning to stretch out over her between her open thighs.

“Very much in need. Don’t worry that you’ll break me. If you don’t break one of your own girls during an average romp, you won’t break me.”

“Good,” he said, reaching down to guide himself to the right spot.

  And lower.

He thrust his cockhead into her anus rather than her vagina, very much enjoying the sudden and loud scream that resulted in another of those warm gushings. Her cum poured onto the shaft of his cock and he used it for lubrication to penetrate beyond the head of his cock.

“I like an experienced woman,” he said when she groaned with him those last two inches, and came again. “You’re going to be fun.”

“I like a guy who doesn’t need to talk,” she replied, eyes lazily closed in dreamy sensation. “Shut up and fuck me already.”

He had a great deal of stamina, knew how to pace himself and when to give her a rest. And used the opportunity during that first rest to go to the bathroom and clean himself for the next round. Having opened her ass, she was much more sensitive during vaginal penetration. When she gripped his hair, he captured her wrists to pin her hands to the bed.

“When are you going to get off?” she asked during their second rest.

“Before we sleep. Ryli males can only ejaculate once every five hours. No sense popping off too soon when I have a hot meeka like you to enjoy.”

Meeka – slang for insatiable vamp

She laughed. “As long as you’re not a Vaikano.”

Immature stag not capable of mating. He flicked a finger hard against her nipple. She just groaned and sighed it out.

“Really?” he drawled of her reaction, and smacked her breast a good one with an open hand.

Much the same result and thus began round three, with smacking hands and gripping fingers as she melted over his thighs on the bed.

“Do you always play this good?” she purred during a pause to change position. “Or just when you’ve killed a rapist asshole?”

He laughed and turned her over to have her from behind over the edge of the bed, this time giving in to his finish. Lying to rest, she turned off the lights with a thought and fell asleep in three breaths. Deep, solid sleep. No dreams. No spirits coming to find her. Interrupted only when he woke her with a hand between her legs.

“Do I get to play some more or do you go frigid in sleep?” he asked.

“Five hours is up already?” she said sleepily.

  “Six hours.”

“I like a nice morning gentle,” she said.

That was what he gave her. Slow and sensuous, with two fingers pressing into the little button of flesh at the top of her puss.

“I know it jolts you when touched, but does this button pop?” he asked when her breath caught in her throat.

“Stroke it a little more and it might,” she said.

Stroke he did, slow and firm, feeling her tense and squeeze in his arms and around his cock.

“Take it when it comes. I won’t stop on you,” he said.

Another minute was all she needed, the muscles of her arms, belly and legs all pulling in at the same time with the clenching of her gut. Breath held tight, she shivered and then shuddered against him for as long as he kept her going. He released her to gasp over her pillow and took his climax in those sweaty seconds.

“You aren’t like any of the women around here,” he declared.

  “I coulda told you that.”

He remained in the bed only until he caught his own breath and regained his legs.

“I’m sure I’ve been here long enough to satisfy an alibi. I need to be getting down to the planet and ready for work,” he said, leaving the bed to retrieve his clothes on the floor. “Am I welcome back another time?”

“So long as it’s not too frequently. We can fuck now and then, but we’re not a thing,” she said, watching him do up his shirt buttons.

  “Same time next week?”

She chuckled into the pillow she was hugging. “Had that much fun, did you?”

“You’re better than most the girls I’ve had.”

“You’re an arrogant fucker, aren’t you. Only most? Oh, wait. You say that to all of them.”

His turn to chuckle. “Forgot you were a telepath.” He smacked her ass a hard one and she laughed. “You’re a great fuck and a man would be stupid not to want you again. I really do have to go to work.”

“I know you do. What’s your name?” she asked.

  “Master.”

She laughed in a way too knowing. “No, you’re not.”

  “Why not?”

  “Because no, that’s why.”

“Someone already hold that position?” he asked.

“Not for you to be concerned with,” she replied.

“My name is Shale. And you?”

  “Rose.”

“Now who is he one fibbing?” he asked, and leaned over her. “I’m a bit tele too. What’s your real name?”

“Rose is the one I use here. It’s still me.”

His warmth over her, that male energy. Felt good. She liked it.

“Nah, girl. You’d be a Rose if you had red hair. You’re not a Rose.”

“Roses can be yellow too. It’s my first middle name.”

  “First middle name?” he questioned.

“Yep. Tyler Rose Marie. Rose is still me. The third name is the one I never use. There are hundreds of people who only know me as Rose.”

“I’ll take the Tyler part,” he said, backing away to pick up his boots. “See you next week.”

  “Later.”

She was asleep before he was in the shuttle bay.

Waking re-energized,she took that station by the balls to be sure all her changes were finished or well underway. The Theater was clean, painted, new seats installed, new central bed, and advertising hour long shows that would start every three hours starting one hour after the station opened. Tickets cost more. Drinks cost more. The audience was not to participate. For now.

“How come the bank books?” she asked toward the end of an impromptu meeting.

“Well. I’ll give out what I have each morning by calling the employees to come to my office. They will sign that they received the book and understand what it says.”

“Good. Keep me informed,” she said by way of dismissing him.

  Only Arran was left.

“What do you want?” she asked impatiently.

  “Have you eaten today?”

  “Yes, I did.”

“Four cups of coffee does not count.”

“I had a piece of fruit and toast.”

“Hardly a meal. Did you sleep?” he asked. “You locked me out of the apartment.

“You are a security guard not my nanny,” she said, and ported to the penthouse.

A good hour with her pipe and the stereo cranked, this time with the door locked, she jammed to as many songs as she could fit into the time she gave herself. Then she stood in front of her open wardrobe. It had filled up with new clothes in her sizes, pieces having been pulled out by the new Wardrobe Coordinator. She selected her outfit and called down to inform the Rolcha that they could wear any color but dark blue. She would give them a color not to wear each evening. They had to be changed out of it before she left the penthouse to begin her evening.

She worked with Jeera at the table for a while, handling a di
sgruntled patron or two.

“You’ve dealt with men like these before,” Jeera smiled as one such patron walked away with a Rolcha on his arm and a room for an hour rather than overnight.

“Once or twice,” Tyler replied, an alarm going off in her pocket.

The screen read 1332. Room number. She ported directly to it, finding a patron beating one of her girls. She flew into a rage, kicking him sideways and off balance. Grabbed by his long hair with a little help from psychokinesis along the way, she dragged him out of the room and down the corridor to the security team arriving on the level.

“Take the girl to the doctor,” she said. “Pack his shit and send it to Arrivals. Now!”

She ported the two of them down, not caring that he was nude or that a hundred people were watching her kick his ass all the way up to a teleport pad.

“What did she do? Call you pee wee?” she snarled with a last kick. “Tell the other assholes like you what happens when you hit one of my girls!”

Arran arrived with the travel sack and she threw it at the guy.

“Send him to the point farthest from his home address,” she said, already turning to walk away.

  The operator followed the order.

“You are one cold bitch,” Arran said, having caught up to her at the lift.

  “Thank you.”

He rode with her back up to the strip club and stood near while she sat at the table and chain smoked while dealing with customers. The Rolcha girl named Tonda approached like a child expecting to be punished. The closer she got to the table, the more worried she looked.

“What’s the matter?” Tyler asked, relieving her from having to speak first.

Tonda knelt to Tyler’s left, ashamed and bewildered. “A patron gave me this.”

  A 100 Rud gambling chip.

“But…he already paid for the two hours and he left. Is this for another hour another time? I don’t know what to do with it. Should I give it to you?”

“You do with it whatever you like. It’s called a tip. An extra amount he wanted to give to you because he liked your work. You do not ever give that to me. It is yours and yours alone. Spend it on something you’ve always wanted but could never afford.”

  “Keep it?”
