“Kerroon!”
The shout from Iscar did not break his trance, and Kerroon knelt before the Man-Spirit. With a point from the ghostly finger, a bolt of blue lightening electrified the crystal tasht Kerroon offered. In the bright flash the tasht disappeared. Kerroon saw they each held a rouleau, an equal-sized section of the rare crystal. That night, the covenant was made.
Heavenly song echoed through the rafters, and the animals raised their voices in melodic harmonies. His heart soared with each note.
“Hallelujah! Hallelujah!”
With a touch of his hand the Man-Spirit healed each of them of their injuries and re-named them to their New World. “You shall be called Peter,” the Man-Spirit told Kerroon. “And your brother – now called Andrew.” Pierzon also knelt, as did the others behind him.
“John and James, brothers as well,” he named Reider and Zebede. They were each refreshed with his touch.
His eyes fell on Iscar with love.
Iscar had a look of skepticism on his face and he had not knelt. His grip on the rouleau whitened his knuckles.
The Man-Spirit descended until he stood beside the Orygin crewmember. “They will call you Judas.” He held Iscar’s gaze in silent communication. Iscar shuffled, reluctant, and wordless, he knelt at last to receive his blessing.
“Only you have the strength to do what must be done,” Jesus told him. “Know now that I have already forgiven thee.”
Finally, the he turned to Dalyn, still standing proudly with the exalted parents. “You shall be called Mary, as my blessed mother.” He bowed deeply to her. “Mary Magdalene; your own part in His Plan will be great. I will pray for thee, let thy faith fail not.”
The image swelled over them, more protective than menacing, and the blue mist enveloped the room.
“Go now, and cover your arrival. Let not your existence as visitors be revealed. Our world will not make you welcome, though ye bring to them news they wish to hear. I will join you again in time and we will begin preparation for the Awakening to come.”

THE DELPHI COUNTDOWN Trilogy
DAYSTAR chronicles the 10 days before the Aurora’s launch on a galatic mission to discover the source of a new light in the sky. Peter and Rachel remain on Earth with a mission of their own, to discover the destiny of the Spokesmon.
DREAMSTAR takes place in Delphi, a city hidden for centuries inside the Himalayan Mountains whose citizens are all psi-talents led to Delphi through their dreams. The grand homecoming, the arrival of the Spokesmon, has finally happened. The only problem is – she’s not sure she wants to be there.
In DESTINY’S STAR the world is on the brink of war, fighting over possession of new technology, and the perceived threat from the group of psi-talents following the Spokesmon. The Aurora also returns with more than answers about the DayStar.
