Andrea walked out to speak with her in the waiting room holding a manila folder. “Hi, Marlow!”
“Hello, Andrea. How's your day going?”
“Good. So, I spoke with the Head Mistress and she really feels like you just aren't a good match for Johnny.”
“What!?” A million thoughts started running through her head. Could it possibly be that he didn't want to be with her? “What was it?”
“Well, we don't really give that information away. We just tell you how things went.”
Marlow didn't understand. He was talking about the future, and how he wanted his life to go. He wanted her. What changed? Was it the matchmaker? “He wants to see me. I know he does, and I want to see him.”
“Well, you know you aren't allowed to exchange personal information, and I'm sorry but I can't help you.”
“Yes,” Marlow stared her down, “you can.”
“I'm going to have to ask you to leave.”
Marlow grabbed her purse and ran out the door crying. She had something wonderful, a Cinderella dream, for one night, and they took it away. It wasn't Johnny. She knew that it wasn't him. It couldn't be. It was that mean old woman that decided not to let them be together. She had no right to do that. Marlow would wait. She would find a way. She'd come back every single day to find him, and if it didn't work then she'd go to Paradise Valley. She had to be with him.
Chapter 15
Johnny was sitting in the back room, where the temperature had evened out since he'd been there last, and he even had some magazines. The only thing that he could think of was Marlow, that sweet seductress that had taken him back to a time when love was possible without the chaos, or the ridiculous games. What he saw was what he got. She wasn't going to play with his mind, or take advantage of his cock to get what she wanted. She didn't have to because, clearly, she didn't want anything but his companionship, and he needed that too. He still felt his grief, not as bad as before, but he felt it bearing down on him, and she was making it easier.
He was excited for the first time in years. He was never excited about being around Crystal. Even when they first met, it was something to do, or just a way to get his dick sucked. He felt like he never really knew who Crystal was. With Marlow, he could be with a real person, somebody with some substance. Everything about Crystal was fake, and Marlow wasn't like that. She was open.
He wanted to take her back that day, get her away from everything, and show her his world. In fact, he was going to begin the process early. He stayed up most of the night, trying to decide what he was going to do. He had to prove to her that this was it, and it was. He could feel it. He'd been looking for a woman like this his whole life, and he had to have her. She was the quintessential embodiment of what he felt a wife should be, and he was falling deep. He was developing an attachment, and though he knew it was dangerous, there was no keeping them apart.
Andrea walked in and he quickly threw on a cocky smile. “Hello, Mr. Casper.”
“Hey.”
“I'm really glad to hear that your date went well. Unfortunately, the Head Mistress doesn't think you'll be a good match.”
“Bull!”
“We are not going to allow you to go on your second date.”
“You have to help us, Andrea. We want to be together. You know that, and I think you know this is the wrong decision.”
“Come get out back with me. Let's get a cup of coffee.” Andrea began walking out the back door.
“What is going on?”
“Come on.” He got up to follow her, unsure of what to think. “Get in your car, and go to this address. She picked up her phone and texted him an address then he got in and turned on the GPS. He didn't think Andrea really liked him, not really. She might be playing a trick on him, but something told him that she didn't agree with the Head Mistress. He saw that as soon as he told her the woman's decision. He checked to see where they were going. It was an apartment complex about fifteen miles away. It must've been where Marlow lived. He didn't know anything about her life, or whether or not she had a good job. He hadn't been to an apartment complex since he was a kid, and it didn't seem right, but he knew who he was going to see and that mattered.
They parked next to each other he went over to the driver's side of her car to go talk to her. “Thank you, Andrea.” The girl reached into her car and pulled out a can of mace, holding it up to him with her finger on the button. He reached up to cover his eyes. “Hey, what are you doing?”
“I really like her, and if you so much as lay a finger on her, or hurt her, I will personally hunt you down and kill you. I can do it. I know where you live.”
He moved his arm down and looked her in the eye. “I don't think I've ever met a woman like her, and I've never ever hit a woman before. It just ain't me.”
“It better not be. I'm giving this to her. Now, wait down here.”
“Why can't I go up with you?” Andrea sighed and turned around to walk away. He had to see her. For a moment, it felt like his life was over, and he'd never really be able to feel comfortable with himself until he saw her. Walking away from this would be one of the biggest regrets he'd ever have. He'd always wonder about what could've been, how his life would've gone had things been different. He owed that feisty girl a serious debt, and he'd repay it somehow.
Chapter 16
What was left of Marlow was a pathetic pile of tear stained flesh, trying to shut out the world around her. She was never going to find somebody. She would always be alone, and this Christmas would be the worst thing that ever happened to her. How could fate be so cruel?
Life had thrown all of her dreams into her lap for one sweet night, and snatched them away just to taunt her. He was beautiful, somebody that she'd have spent her life with, a man that could give her everything, even when she wanted nothing. She could've traveled the world with him, and started the family she needed.
Marlow had a bottle of wine, unopened next to the couch, and she was watching her favorite soap operas. Just like in those shows, she thought. Nobody ever has a happy ending. Something always tears the perfect couple apart.
She heard a knock at the door and jumped up. Nobody ever came to the door. She was always alone. When she got up to open it, she stared daggers at Andrea. “I was going to help you. You don't have to be mad at me.”
“Really?” Marlow was so embarrassed. She was in her robe, and her house looked terrible.
“He's here.”
“It's disgusting in here. I can't have him come in.”
“Oh, I don't mind.” Johnny walked up the cat walk behind Andrea.
The girl scoffed. “I still have that mace, you know. I told you not to come up.”
“I'll take it from here.” He shoved her aside
Andrea handed the mace to Marlow saying, “Give him a good spray. It's works on dicks too.” She stormed off down the stairs.
“Thank you!” Johnny called out to her as she ran down.
“I'm so embarrassed.” She was in her robe and her hair was messed up. She didn't have anything on except for some old shorts and a t-shirt. The house smelled like rotting garbage.
“You wanna come to Phoenix?”
“I don't have any money, no way to live and my job will fire me.”
“Screw all that. You can get a job there, a good job. Come get your things. I'll fly you back if you don't want to stay.” He swept her up and pulled her in his arms. “I wanna be with you, Marlow, and I don't see any reason why we should wait. We know what's right.”
“It's a risk.”
“Is it?”
“It's worth it.”
Marlow was going to end her life in Texas in order to be with a man she only met a day ago, and somehow, regardless of how risky it was, she knew that she was making the right decision. Her stomach was jumping up and down as she rode in his expensive sports car to the airport.
“Are you scared?” She answered by putting her head on his shoulder as they pulled up to the tarmac.
r /> “Why are we here?”
“What do you mean? This is my airplane.” He pointed out the window to a giant jet outside.
“Oh, god.” The reality of what was happening was sinking in. “I didn't realize you had a personal jet.”
“I guess I should've been more upfront, Marlow. I'm not a millionaire.” He sighed.
“Jesus! I never thought. Well, it doesn't matter does it? Let's go. I'm cold.”
“Do you like flying? I hope it doesn't scare you.” He ran his fingers through her hair.
“No. Not at all. I-I mean. I don't mind it. I've only been on one airplane before.” She laughed. “This is just surreal. I'm sorry.”
“You're shaking,” he held her hand to warm it up. She was so cold. “Are you nervous?”
“No. I'm overjoyed. I've never been so excited in my entire life!” She was throwing up her hand, letting the sudden surge of excitement explode. She ran out of the car, with Johnny holding onto her hand and skipped up to the jet where Hank was waiting with a huge smile. He gave Johnny a look that said, I told you so, as they ran into the cabin and plopped down into a plush leather seat.
“You know, Marlow, we don't have to wait until the plane takes off to get out of our seats.”
“So?”
“So-o-o-o there's a bed in back.”
She hopped up and sat down on his lap. It was wonderful to have his arms around her waist, and to be able to look down and see his cock grin. “I don't know, Mr. Casper.” He whisked her up and gave her a kiss as he ran her into the back room, where there was a beautiful four poster bed. He slammed her down and lay on top of her. His cock was bulging out of his pants, rubbing up against her belly. He unbuttoned her white blouse as his warm lips, caressed her neck, nipping behind her ear. His cock was moving down, rubbing just above her spot, and he moved his hips up and down, letting it rub against her. Her eyes went up and she threw back her head writhing as little sparks burst out every single time he pressed down on her.
He reared up, smiling at her with his perfect dimples, and started unbuttoning his shirt so that she could see his chest, that was covered in a forest of light brown fur, and pure raw beef. She was shivering with excitement, and beginning to feel a tingling sensation between her thighs. He thrust his pelvis forward and that tingling sensation turned into a spot of hot water, boiling into throbbing, pulsing ache, filled with pure desire.
“You want me,” he reached down and whispered in her ear, sending a warm rush of air that gave her goosebumps and made her thigh tingle.
He reached behind her and unhooked her bra, throwing it to the side of the room, leaving her feeling like a vulnerable piece of smoldering flesh, ready to scream as the pressure inside her began to build like a cup ready to overflow. His finger moved down her neck, over her chest, and then to both nipples, which he pinched hard. She was shaking, screaming and burning from his scorching touch as her thigh burst open and sweet bliss poured out of her, “Put it in me!”
His hairy chest was rubbing up against her. He lay down let his bulge run along the space between her lips. “You wanna see it,” he asked. His deep voice was warm chocolate running down her body, resting at that spot, and pulsing through her.
“Yes,” she whispered. He sat up and unbuttoned his first button, then met her eyes with a cocky smile as he reached down and adjusted his cock letting the side of his thumb run along the shaft. It was huge. She needed to see it. If she didn't see it soon, she would feel that final explosion.
He let the other buttons fly open, and it popped out. It was jumping up and down with the cut head sticking out, calling to her. “You like that?” He used one hand to rub his cock as he moved his rough hand along her legs, letting it rest on her thighs while she watched his hand move back and forth along the shaft. Every time the foreskin passed over the head, she could feel the world closing in on her.
He moved his hand up, along her thigh and rested it in that place between her thigh and her lips, using his other hand to pull down her panties slowly as his fingers edge closer. He moved his fingers up, like a hot brand, along her slit and over to her clit flicking it softly then quicker, as she screamed and pulsed. He threw her panties aside and curled his lip up with a tantalizing scowl as he moved in and ran his cock along the lips. “You're so wet,” he growled.
“O-o-oh,” her shuddering cry moved in time with the wave, shaking her, moving her past desperation. “I'm gonna come.”
He moved the tip of his cock inside, letting it rest as he took in her reaction, like a killer savoring the pain of his victims, then he drove his cock in, letting out a deep growl, that sent another wave of pleasure through her, causing her to scream out in ecstasy. He slammed it in good, past every crevice and every ridge until he curved up and allowed the tip stroke her power point and the world ended, plummeting her into a vast pool of warm love, and sweet ecstasy, pulsing to the beat of the cock digging deep inside of her. She looked up to see a single strand of hair fall over his face as his sticky skin stuck to hers.
The sound of his grunt collided with her soft moans and the smell of wet sex, throbbing between them, and like flint to steel sparks shot out igniting their bodies, setting off an explosion that surged through both of them, sending out a warm jet of come and hot lava. He fell on top of her, a steaming hot mess of sweat and sticky flesh.
When the plane landed there was a soft knock at the door and they got dressed. When Marlow stepped off the tarmac, the first thing she noticed was that she felt like all of the water had been sucked right out of her body. “It's hot, Johnny.”
“Takes a couple weeks to get used to it.”
They took each other’s hands and walked back to the limo, where they headed through the city. “It's gonna be weird having Christmas here. It's not the same.”
“No snow. You can go outside. Imagine getting a bike here when you're a kid,” Johnny's face lit up. “You could actually ride it that morning without killing yourself in the cold.”
“True.”
“You know, I'm usually not a fan of Christmas, but it would kind of nice to have somebody to spend it with. My ex, she always hid in her house, something about hating the holiday.”
Marlow rested her head against his shoulder. “I knew I couldn't be alone for Christmas.”
“We've both been through a lot this year, I know. We're gonna end it right.”
“I just want to spend Christmas with you.”
Chapter 17
Crystal sat in the tiny waiting room at the Healthy Women's Retreat in Malibu, drinking an almond milk latte and trying to calm her nerves. She needed another cigarette, but she had to find out what was going on first. She enrolled in the retreat, advertised as a body, mind and soul vacation, because she knew she needed the whole package.
She started feeling sick about a week ago, and was waking up every morning, running to the bathroom to puke. It was terrible and she knew that something was horribly wrong with her.
She was just out of balance after the trouble that that codependent, abusive piece of trash had caused her. The retreats motivational seminars and spiritual sessions were invaluable in helping her get some perspective about what was going on in her life. She'd forgotten her true karmic purpose in the world and would have to be working closely with her life coaches and mind gurus to begin understanding what it was she needed to do. Her father would have to foot the bill. Self improvement wasn't cheap, but it was worth it. They were already helping her find her personal energy centers.
She made an appointment to see Dr. Lorrahs the third day in, after her mind journey meditation told her that there was something wrong. She needed to take care of her body better and seek help for whatever he'd done to her.
Now, she was scared. The doctor stuck her with a needle and drew her blood. She tried so hard not to cry, but it brought back all of the terrible memories of Johnny and how much he'd hurt her. She was damaged beyond repair, and now he'd left her disfigured.
They were calling
her back for the results of her blood test, and she wasn't sure why. She already knew what it was; her heart was broken, and her body was responding to the stress.
Cherish, the new receptionist came out and hunched down next to her pale and sweating form. “Dr. Lorrahs would like to speak with you now, Crystal.” She took her hand and led her into a low lit room, where Crystal was greeted by a smiling, cosmetically altered blond surrounded by the fragrant smoke of Nag Champa incense.
“Hello Crystal,” she pointed to a purple armchair in the corner. “Have a seat. Are you feeling well?”
“I'm upset.”
“I'm so sorry to hear that,” the doctor responded sympathetically. She sat down on a doctor's stool and wheeled over so she could take Crystal's hands. “Crystal, you know, sometimes after the worst times in our lives, the best things can happen. Today is a new day.”
“It is.” She was wallowing.
“What I'm about to tell you is the most wonderful thing you will ever hear in your entire life.”
“Really?” Crystal sounded skeptical.
“Really,” the doctor responded reassuringly. She got up and picked out a folder from the case on the door and looked over it. “The reason why you've been puking in the morning isn't because you've been heartbroken; it's because you're pregnant.
A blood vessel snapped in Crystal's already fragile brain. She was completely blinded by the shock of the news, and shot up, screaming at the top of her lungs. She grabbed the chair and threw it at the wall. “That sick mother —
“Calm down. We will offer you the best of care.”
“No.” She shook her head, “O-o-h no.” She stamped her feet. “He's gonna pay for everything. He did this,” she pointed down at her stomach, “to me, and he's going to pay.”
“Life is a sacred—
“Shut up.” She kicked the chair out from under the doctor and stormed out to get her purse from her room.
