Penny & Squirt: A Love Story Page 3

by T. M. Haught

She lifted her hips slowly up again, then pressed down once more. It was easier the second time, since their natural fluids were working now to grease the path. She kept going, gently up and down, up and down, then added a slight forward and back thrust to her hip movements as well as she continued, more for her benefit than for his, since that steady grinding of her vulva against his pubic area felt even better than the penetration of her vagina. Her hands were on his shoulders to steady herself and she could feel the heat of his skin there, too. Then she noticed that Jonah’s body was starting to tighten a bit.

“Try to hold it... as long as you can,” she whispered. “Don’t give in... too soon.”

“Trying!” Jonah said through teeth that were nearly clenched.

  “Good.” Penny kept pumping.

Jonah realized that he had just been laying there, enjoying the intense pleasure without really meeting her halfway. “Should I be helping? Should I—?”

“No, don’t thrust,” Penny told him. “Not this time. You’ll probably go too fast. Let me set the pace.” Her eyes closed and her lips parted slightly. “Just… let me….”

Even though she was doing all of the thrusting she was coming down harder on him now and Jonah felt that he was penetrating her more deeply than before. Penny felt that, too and her clitoris and the other outer surfaces of her vulva were rubbing against his pubic bone, sending ripples of tingles through the nerves in her groin with each new grinding impact.

They kept going for another five minutes until it was no longer possible to delay the inevitable. The volcano was about to erupt, and at this point neither of them could stop it, even if they wanted to.

Penny’s toes were starting to curl and her eyes closed again as her head tilted back. She was speeding up with the rhythmic pumping, this time for Jonah’s benefit, too. It worked. His own head jerked forward, then back as the first waves of orgasm began to sweep over and through him.

“Oh Penny! Penny! Penny!” he gasped.

“Oh Squirt! Squirt! Squirt!” she said.

And he did, he did, he did....

Penny climaxed but she pumped a few more times before the orgasmic contractions subsided. She added a few convulsive twitches as her muscles, including the ones in her vagina, had several uncontrollable spasms before settling down. Then it was over.

She collapsed on top of him, completely spent, her panting matching his until it finally slowed and their breathing gradually became normal. They both made eye contact and smiled weakly.

“Oh my,” Jonah said faintly, his eyes heavy-lidded.

“Yeah,” Penny told him breathlessly. “You did great, Squirt. That was freakin’ awesome.”

  “I didn’t do anything.”

She smiled. “Oh, but you did.”

Then they promptly fell asleep in each other’s arms....

  CHAPTER THREE

  Comes the dawn

They awoke in a comfortable tangle of arms and legs, their bodies still pressed together in a relaxed way. The room was still mostly dark, but a faint trace of light was beginning to illuminate things around them.

Jonah stirred. “Oh wow...” he said, gazing into Penny’s eyes and seeing a sparkle in them as she gazed back. “How many times did we do that?”

“Three, I think,” said Penny. “Not sure. I wasn’t counting.”

He caressed her back with his hands, making slow circles across her shoulder blades and spine. Her cascading blond hair was draped around his own face like lacy curtains of spun gold. He felt cozy and warm there beneath the covers with her and he felt no urge to move.

“Penny, do you know how terrific you are?” he said.

“I like you, too,” she replied sweetly. “Do you know you still have your car parked in my garage?”

Jonah frowned. “What? But I don’t even have a ca—” He stopped, then laughed. “Oh... Okay, now I get it.”

“Now?” Penny laughed. “You’ve been gettin’ it all night!”

“Yeah.” He grinned. “Sorry... I’d better pull it out.”

“Hmmm,” she said. “At least partway. And then put it back in, and pull it back out, and then...”

There was a sudden loud ringing next to them that made them both jump. It was the alarm clock on the nightstand next to the bed. A worried glance at it told them that it was 5:30 a.m. The school bus would be outside by 7:00.

“OMG!” blurted Penny as she threw back the covers. “We’ve got to get moving! No time to waste! I’ve got to get ready and get downstairs for breakfast before my dad starts knocking on my door. You’d better get ready, too!”

She disengaged herself and rose off of him, hopping from the bed with a light bounce that set all her soft parts jiggling. She headed for the closet door, pausing to pick up her crumpled T-shirt where it lay on the floor. As she bent over to reach it she presented Jonah with a tantalizing view of her that made him wish even more that she’d stay. She must have read his mind as when she straightened she turned briefly and flashed him a smirky grin. Then she continued toward the door of the closet, which still stood open.

Jonah got off the bed too now and started after her, but his stride was unexpectedly faltering. He made a face at the discovery.

“Whoa!” he said. “My legs are kinda sore.”

Penny paused at the closet door and turned to face him with a wry look. “Well, no big surprise there. The last two times you gave those muscles a pretty good workout that they weren’t used to.” Her pretty features clouded as a thought crossed her mind. “Try not to walk funny when you go downstairs to breakfast. It’s a dead giveaway.”

Jonah nodded as he reached the spot where she stood. “The shower might help. I need to wash off any sticky stuff anyway.”

“Me too,” she said. Clearly reluctant to leave him, she reached out and gently touched his face. He touched her hand there and held it.

“Penny...” he said softly. “Thank you. Thank you for wanting to help.”

She gazed deeply into his eyes. “No... thank you! I... I have to be honest. This didn’t turn out the way I expected.” The look in her eyes softened and became more vulnerable than he had ever seen it before. “I may have started out just wanting to help,” Penny continued, “but I ended up just wanting you. I... I just hope...”

Jonah frowned in concern. “Hope what?”

“That... that you’re not one of those guys that, as soon as he gets what he wants, says goodbye and moves on to his next conquest.”

Jonah took her hand from his face, gave it a little squeeze, and moved it down to his chest, over his heart. “No, Penny, I won’t be one of those guys. Not ever. I promise.”

She smiled a bit and raised an eyebrow. “So... you still gonna ask Tiffany for a date...?”

He smiled back at her. “Tiffany who?”

Penny’s smile broadened and even the corners of her eyes crinkled with the grin. “Excellent answer!”

She impulsively leaned in and planted a kiss on his lips that was warm and intensely passionate, so much so that Jonah felt his own toes start to curl. Penny felt his heartbeat quicken beneath her hand on his chest, and as she gently pulled away from the lingering kiss she looked down and noticed what else of Jonah’s was responding. She smiled wryly as she looked back up at his face.

“Yeah, me too, but hold that thought for later,” she said. “Like maybe tonight. We can use my room this time. You can be on top.” She raised both eyebrows twice in rapid succession.

Jonah sighed. “Now I’m really gonna need a shower.”

She nodded in agreement and made a dismissive gesture with both hands. “Go! Hurry! Parental units waiting, remember?”

She disappeared into the closet and closed the door behind her. Jonah heard the wall panel slide back in place, and then her faint footsteps in the next room. Then, as ordered, he turned and hurried for the shower. Or at least, hurried as well as he could....

  * * * * * * * * * *

Breakfast in the dining room was s
crambled eggs and bacon, toast with strawberry jam, orange juice and coffee. Jonah had made it to the table without attracting too much attention by lugging his backpack with him, walking somewhat off balance, and placing it by the wall. Now seated at his regular spot he started working on the food on his plate, glad that he had begun drinking coffee as a beverage a few years earlier. This was one morning that he definitely needed the caffeine.

He glanced around him. His mom was at her end of the table, Mr. Mathews was at the other end, and Penny was directly across from him, her head down as her thumbs busily worked the keys on her cell phone. Rebecca Nash noticed what she was doing, smiled and shook her head.

“You teenagers and your constant texting,” Rebecca said. “Don’t forget to eat your breakfast, Penny.”

“I won’t,” Penny replied without looking up. “But this is the only way I have of staying in touch with my old friends back in the town we left.”

“Nothing wrong with that,” said Rebecca gently. “But you should make some new friends, too.”

“I’m sure I will,” said Penny, glancing quickly up at Jonah with a half smile as she contemplated the double-entendre involved. She looked back at her cell phone a moment, then frowned as she glanced back up at Jonah. He was looking at her rather fixedly and she could tell from the longing expression in his eyes that he was thinking about the glories of last night and anticipating the promise of this evening. Her attention went immediately back to her cell phone. She touched icons on the screen twice, then started texting again.

Jonah jumped a bit as his own cell phone beeped the sound it made when he had an incoming message. He dug it out of his pocket, brought up the screen and checked. There was a new message all right, and he was surprised to see that it was from Penny. He didn’t know she had his number. He touched the screen and viewed the message. It said:

  STOP STARING AT ME

  LIKE I’M A CHEESEBURGER

  AND YOU’RE STARVING.

  THEY’LL FIGURE IT OUT!

Jonah stifled a laugh, but still inadvertently said out loud, “Good idea.”

“What’s that, dear?” said Rebecca, glancing up from her own breakfast.

Jonah blanched and quickly switched off his messages. “Ah... one of my classmates at school just reminded me about the Science Fair that’s coming up soon. He has a good idea for a project.”

“That’s nice, Jonah,” she said. “What’s the project about?”

His mind was racing now. “It’s... about... the environmental impact of chemical run-off from farm land, like we have around here. Fertilizer and stuff. Gets in the water. Messes things up.”

Rebecca nodded approvingly. “That does sound like a good topic with a lot of potential for development.” She took another bite of her food. “What’s your project going to be?”

Jonah exchanged the very briefest of looks with Penny. “I’m kind of still working on it.”

“Well,” said his mom, “pick a good one... something that you have strong feelings about. That always seems to work best.”

“I totally agree,” Jonah said, then hurried to finish his food.

Robert Mathews glanced over at him then, and at his daughter, too, as if thinking. Then he checked his watch. “Hey, you two---that school bus will be here in five or ten minutes. Better hustle!”

“Right, Dad,” said Penny, taking another bite before pushing her plate back. Most of the food was already gone. She got up from the table, gave her father a quick kiss and went to get her own backpack.

Jonah got up next and grabbed his backpack, gave his mom a kiss on the cheek, then followed Penny out of the room. He glanced out of the corner of his eye to be sure neither his mom nor Mr. Mathews were watching his exit, just in case his stride seemed a bit out of whack. Neither was. Mr. Mathews was getting up from the table and reaching for his laptop case where he had sat it by the wall.

“Well, I’ve got to head for the office myself,” he was saying. “See you later.”

Rebecca stayed where she was, still sipping her coffee. “Bye. Have a nice day, Robert.”

Jonah and Penny were already on the sidewalk in front of the house, waiting for the bus, as Robert Mathews emerged from the old house and headed for the grey SUV that was parked in the driveway behind Rebecca’s white sedan. Jonah breathed a sigh of relief, then looked over at Penny and noticed her smirking grin.

  “What--?” he asked.

“Oh, nothing,” she said dryly. “I was just thinking about all that fertilizer run-off back there!”

Jonah sighed. “That was all I could think of on short notice. Now I’ve got to try to talk one of the guys into doing a project like that in case my mom asks about it later or wants to see it at the Science Fair.”

“Ah, what a tangled web we weave...” Penny said with a knowing wink. “It was a good save, I have to admit. And anyway, I liked when you agreed with your mom about ‘picking a good one’ and ‘strong feelings’. Was that me you were thinking about? Am I your special project?”

“You, my project?” said Jonah. “More like I’m yours.”

  “What?” said Penny innocently.

  “I’m yours?”

Penny flashed him a coy look. “Say it again...?”

He caught on that time. He smiled and repeated it, slowly and with emphasis. “I’m yours.”

“Good boy. Don’t forget it.” Penny fluttered her eyelashes at him, then got serious again quickly and turned her head. “Okay, the bus is coming! Can you get up the steps okay?”

“Yes,” said Jonah. “I’m okay. I’m sure I’ll feel better tomorrow.”

Penny gave her long blonde curls an imperious toss. “We’ll just see about that, Squirt,” she said with a smile. “We’ll just see about that....”

  * * * * * * * * * *

At lunchtime the school cafeteria seemed more crowded than usual. There had been a special assembly in the auditorium an hour earlier and it had thrown off the normal schedule enough that more students were hitting the cafeteria than ordinarily would now.

Jonah and Penny had already made their way through the serving line and paid for their food, and were now working their way through the milling students looking for seats. They were walking almost shoulder to shoulder, carrying their trays, conversing just loud enough to hear each other over the noise of the throng.

“Did you mind?” Penny was saying. “I mean, when I called you ‘Squirt’ again as we got on the bus this morning?”

“No,” Jonah said. “Funny, isn’t it? It used to bug the heck out of me, but now I don’t mind it at all. You can call me that any time you want, Penny.”

She smiled. “Well, not all the time, Jonah. Maybe we should save that just for a pet name, for special moments. Do you have a pet name for me?”

He thought a moment, then turned his head to look at her. “I can’t think of one that I like better than ‘Penny’.”

“Aww... that’s sweet,” she replied. “Just don’t call me ‘Penelope’. That’s what my dad says when he’s scolding me about something.”

  “Deal,” said Jonah.

Before he could say anything else he was startled by an unexpected collision. His left arm hit something as he moved through the crowd. Something soft.

Jerking his gaze around, he was surprised to see Tiffany Jeskavech standing there, also holding a tray of food, her mouth slightly agape from the surprise of the collision. A few of her “mean girl” pals were just beyond her at a short distance. Jonah wasn’t sure what part of her anatomy he had hit, but it didn’t seem to have done any damage.

“Whoops,” he told her. “Sorry, Tiff. I didn’t notice you standing there. Are you okay?”

She stared at him oddly with an expression that was a mixture of her usual disdain and a puzzled look. “Ah... yeah. I suppose.” She raised an eyebrow. “Didn’t notice me...? Is that you, Jonah? You... seem different somehow.”

“Really? Imagine that,” he replied. “Well, TTFN. Enjoy your lunch.”

She stared after him with an annoyed look as he kept going without a further glance her way. “Whatever!” she said, clearly not amused.

Jonah and Penny exchanged conspiratorial grins as they continued walking, still shoulder to shoulder. He leaned his head a bit closer to her to whisper a comment.

“You have just witnessed my first and last real conversation with Miss Jeskavech,” he said.

They shared a quick fist bump and Penny said softly, “Score!”

  CHAPTER FOUR

  Turnabout is foreplay

That night, Jonah was in his room, hurrying to finish his homework but having trouble concentrating on it. He imagined that Penny was working on hers, too, as he couldn’t hear the TV or anything on in her room. He had heard water running earlier.

Dinner had been routine and “safe”, with no awkward moments and no questions that might prove dangerous or revealing. As they had agreed before leaving school, he and Penny had avoided eye contact for the most part and said as little as possible directly to each other during the meal. They didn’t want to appear too friendly. Maintaining at least the illusion of hostility, politely tolerated, seemed wise.

Jonah checked his watch. It was ten o’clock, and still no scrape of sound from the closet, no appearance of those familiar blond curls and that face... those eyes... that were now the cornerstone of his existence. Was something wrong? Had she changed her mind... had a change of heart?

He tried not to agonize over those questions and focused on his homework, finally realizing that he had read the same math question four times already. He sighed, then succeeded in working out the problem and jotted down the answer. By the time he had finished the math and read the assigned portion of Shakespeare’s “As You Like it,” it was a few minutes past eleven o’clock. Now he was getting a little worried. Some of his old insecurities were creeping back into his mind, like unwanted visitors from the past.
