Secrets in the Dark Page 14

“But what if he has a tiny dick?” Snake asked, ignoring Pratt’s warning.

“I’ll still ride the fuck out of it!”

“But you won’t suck it?” Snake asked, laughing, as he held his stomach.

  “Nope, especially not yours!”

Brody looked over curiously at Diesel and Snake’s exchange. “Okay, I gotta ask, why not Snakes?”

“Because, Lord knows what or who he’s fucked with all the frog hogs he’s banged. I ain’t taking the chance that even the condom would catch a disease from his ass.”

“You’re just upset you couldn’t handle all this. You know you’d be addicted after the first taste!” Snake said, waving his hands over his abs and lower region.

“More like you couldn’t handle me!”

“Neither one of you could handle the other. Snake is a Dom in training. Diesel, you couldn’t handle the lifestyle since you think it’s abuse, which is your go to line because you’re afraid of a real Dom hooking you into the lifestyle after the bullshit your family feds you. Snake couldn’t handle you because he’d have too much fun fucking the snark out of your ass. Now both of you shut the hell up before I puke!” Pratt demanded, shaking her head as she started to walk away.

“Not my fault you’re knocked up again and you’re not gonna be getting the dick for the next nine months, ho!”

“What did she say, lass?” Highlander asked, looking between the two women.

“Nothing!” Pratt answered fast, panicking. “The bitch said nothing.”

“Umm sounded like Diesel said something about your girl being knocked up boss!” Snake answered, smirking at Pratt.

“Boy, I will kick your ass, before I put a bullet in your fucking head!”

“Laura Renee, did you just go into a mission pregnant?” Larry asked, upset as the others looked around.

“Fuck!” Sgt. Brocard glared at Diesel who had the nerve to start looking sheepish when the men turned towards Pratt.

“Fuck! Fine, yes, I just found out I was pregnant when the call came in. No, I didn’t say shit about it because my focus was Dakota. No, I’m not sorry for not saying anything. I would do it all again if it meant finding Dakota and keeping her safe. I swear to God if you make me go through what you did the last time, I was pregnant, you’ll be sorry.” Pratt stomped her foot and pouted.

Highlander’s SEAL team laughed at her tantrum. Highlander placed his hands on his hips, looking down at the floor and signed heavily.

“I can give you a number to the psychologist we use for the club. She can talk to you about safe play, if that’s what you’re worried about. We also have a dr we used during the pregnancy who is aware of the lifestyle. Since I know you guys live in California, she may be able to help set you up with a dr there that can assure you of what’s safe and not.” Ian offered

Highlander stared at Ian for a few before looking at the other men of Trident Security, who all nodded their consent for the dr’s ability to know her craft. Highlander then looked at Pratt, who looked upset, ready to cry.

“Does being pregnant with my bairn really upset ye that much, lass?”

“God no! You are amazing as a husband and father! You treat me like gold. But, Joe, it hurts when you don’t touch me, you sleep in the other room or you avoid me for days.”

“Fuck, lass.” Highlander looked up at the ceiling for several minutes before he looked at Ian. “Aye, I’d like both numbers please.”

“Squidward reproduces again!” Raso mocked, shaking her head.

“Well you could too trampbucket, but you’re too afraid of what you want! You know eventually he’s going to give up waiting for you!” Pratt warned Raso, looking over at her husband talking with Ian, Brody and Carter.

“He isn’t waiting for me. Stop your lying. The man is a ho, way worse than Diesel is.”

“So you’re going to keep playing with monkey-bug boy?”

  “Whatever!”

“Girl, you think Highlander is alpha as hell, Marcus is way worse. But something tells me if you gave him a chance, a real chance, you’d never look back, other than to kick your own ass for fighting it for the last six years.”

“He doesn’t want me. He’s dating that Gena chick now. He gave up on me a long time ago!” Raso sighed as she walked away, ignoring everyone’s eyes on her.

“What was that about?” Highlander asked his wife, wrapping his arms around her.

“Same shit, different day. You didn’t tell her about Marcus and Gena breaking up?”

“Nae, he doesn’t want her to know.”

“Will they ever stop dancing around each other?”

“One of these days, lass. One of these days.”
