Desire (The Seductors Series) (Volume 1) Page 2

by B. L. Wilde

Mr. Kirkham definitely liked the ladies. I watched his hands linger on a few attractive women numerous times in the first hour I sat watching him.

For a rich man, I was shocked to discover his preferred drink was a bottle of lager, but then again, maybe he was just trying to relax. Lager was a lighter drink than liquor.

He seemed to have the gift of conversation, too, and I’d be lying if I didn’t admit I was looking forward to meeting him.

“Can I buy you a drink, Beautiful?” I heard the guy sitting next to me ask. I sighed, trying not to roll my eyes at the drunken idiot.

“I’m good, thank you,” I smiled, turning my stool away from him. I was trying to work here!

Men were all the same. They would see a woman alone and instantly think it was an opportunity to try and pick her up. I never was a woman you could chat up, even before I found this job.

“You’re here alone, aren’t you?” he whispered into my ear while his chest rubbed against my back. He really shouldn’t have been doing that. He wouldn’t like it if I got angry.

“Hey, Jackass! What part of ‘I’m good, thank you,’ don’t you understand?” I seethed, spinning in my seat. The guy was no oil painting, either. He didn’t stand a chance with me in the slightest.

“I don’t like seeing a beautiful woman drink alone,” he slurred.

“Trust me, if it’s a choice between drinking with you or alone, I’m fine with being alone.”

“Hey!” The jerk was about to grab my shoulder, and I’d have floored him if he had, but luckily we were interrupted.

“Mark, you’re not harassing the ladies again, are you?” I turned and came face-to-face with Mr. Kirkham, himself. Oh my! He was rather dreamy up close. Sonia was right: a few months with this guy wouldn’t be so bad. I may even be able to teach him a thing or two and finally get an orgasm out of it—without having to use my own fingers for once. Maybe it was the men I had been assigned to, or the knowledge that the connection wasn’t real, but never in my five years as a Seductor had a target brought me to orgasm. Why was I thinking about orgasms already? I hadn’t even spoken to the man yet.

“She was insulting me, actually, Oliver!” Mr. Drunk mumbled, glaring daggers at me.

“I merely said I didn’t need a drink after your kind offer. If I had insulted you, I would have said your breath smelled or that color shirt looks ridiculous on you,” I replied, watching Mr. Kirkham’s eyes lighten with humor.

“I still think you should let me buy you a drink,” Mr. Obtuse sneered, trying unsuccessfully to be seductive.

“I’d really rather you didn’t,” I whimpered, using my innocent approach. Oh, Mr. Kirkham, save me! I’m just a poor little girl that needs to be protected.

The truth was that I was going to seduce the pants off Mr. Kirkham over the next few months. Hell, who knew? I might even be able to start tonight.

“Mark, leave the poor woman alone,” he scolded. “You’ll have to excuse Mark.” Mr. Kirkham was now giving me his full attention, gazing at me with those brown, almost black, eyes of his. Using that to my advantage, I crossed my legs and gave him a great view of my upper thigh. I leaned in closer to him, too, knowing it would show my cleavage off nicely. “I can ask him to leave if you want.”

“Are you always this heroic?” I questioned, looking away and acting shy.

“Only for extremely beautiful women,” he grinned.

“You’re making me blush,” I giggled, running my fingers over the top of my glass, silently teasing him. He was a man, after all, and I knew he was already picturing me naked, hoping he could run his own hands all over me.

“I’m sorry. That wasn’t my intention, I was just stating the truth.” Mr. Kirkham took the stool next to me, which luckily blocked my view of the drunken guy.

“Do you charm all the ladies this way?”

“All the ladies?” he asked, quirking an eyebrow at me.

“I’ve been watching you tonight. You seem quite the celebrity,” I sighed.

“You’ve been watching me?” he chuckled. “And here I was thinking I’d spotted you first.” I giggled, adding in that hair flick thing girls do when they’re nervous. I had this act down to a fine art. “Can I buy you a drink?”

“I can’t see any harm in that. You did save me, after all,” I smiled, finally looking up to meet his gaze. Oh, he was making this too easy. “I’ll have a bottle of lager, thanks.”

“Lager?” he questioned. Rule #11: Seductors must always order the same drink as their target on their first contact. This is to ensure a commonality and provide an in for the first official meet.

“What? You think all women drink cocktails? Don’t you ever get sick of conforming with everyone else?”

“Two bottles of lager it is, then,” he smiled, tilting his head. “I just realized I haven’t introduced myself. I’m Oliver Kirkham.”

“It’s lovely to meet you, Oliver. I’m Jade—Jade Gibbs.” We always gave our real first name. It was easier that way. A Seductor never handled the same target more than once, so it was safe.

“It’s lovely to meet you, too, Jade.” Oliver smiled, passing my drink to me once the bartender set them down. “Here’s to new acquaintances.” I nodded, clinking my bottle with his.

“So what brings you to London?” he asked after a sip of his beer. “I can tell by your accent that you’re not local.”

“Neither are you,” I pointed out, knowing full well he was an American like me. Sticking with my cover, I added, “I’m here on business.”

“What part of the US are you from?”

“Florida. I’m in the interior design industry—artwork mainly. I look for certain pieces for my clients, and London has it all.” It was good to have a cover story that you actually knew about, and I was a big art lover. It was one of my many disguises.

  “That sounds interesting.”

“What type of business are you in, Mr. Kirkham?” I asked, sipping my beer while gazing up at him with my big blue eyes.

“It’s Oliver. I’m in the industrial business, mostly,” he grinned. A few people acknowledged him as they passed, but Oliver kept his eyes on me.

  “What does that mean exactly?”

“I run a company that makes machines of all kinds.”

  “Oh.” I acted shocked.

“What?” he questioned as his eyes started to roam down toward my chest.

“You don’t seem old enough to run your own company.”

“Oh, I’m old enough, but I’m also a third generation CEO, so I can’t take all the credit,” he chuckled, turning to greet a few more people. “You must have done well in your career, too, Jade. You can’t be more than what—twenty-five?”

“You’re close,” I smirked. “I’m twenty-seven.” I was impressed. Age wasn’t an easy thing to guess with me.

“Mm…you’re not too far from my age,” he mused, licking his lip subconsciously.

“Can I try to guess how old you are?”

“If you want,” he smiled playfully. I already knew his age, of course, but Oliver didn’t know that.

“Thirty…” I paused, pretending to think as I gazed at him. Damn, Oliver was really a good-looking guy. “Thirty-four,” I finally guessed.

“Close,” he chuckled, “but you added an extra two years.”

“Clearly the stress of your job has aged you by two years then,” I teased into my bottle.

“You could be right there, Jade.”

“Well, everyone seems to know you in this bar. You must be someone important, that’s for sure,” I mused, looking around.

“I’m heading up a conference here this weekend.”

“Ah,” I giggled, “it all makes sense now.”

“How long are you in London?” I noticed his gaze had moved to my exposed leg and was travelling up my thigh.

“Just the weekend. I’m meeting with a new client in Paris on Monday.”

“You’re here for the same amount of time as me, then,
” he stated.

“It would seem so,” I smiled, playing with the hem of my dress timidly. I couldn’t appear too confident. Oliver seemed to like my ‘lost little girl’ act.

“Do you usually travel alone in your line of work?”

“No, this is my first time,” I sighed, taking another sip of my drink. “Our company has taken on a lot of new clients. There aren’t enough of us to go around anymore, so I had to take this job alone. It’s all a little daunting.”

“Don’t you have a boyfriend or husband who could have come with you?” Oh, smooth, Oliver—really smooth.

“No,” I sighed sadly. “No husband or boyfriend.”

“I wouldn’t be so worried about being in London alone. You seem to be doing just fine from where I’m sitting, Jade.”

  “Thank you.”

“So, are you meeting a client tonight?”

“I was supposed to,” I sighed deeply, “but unfortunately he had to cancel. I was just about to decide what to do for the evening.”

“You mean you’re all dressed up with nowhere to go?” Oliver stood up. “We can’t have that. Why don’t you join me for dinner in the restaurant?”

“Oh, Oliver, I couldn’t. I…I mean, you probably have a hundred things to do.”

“No, I don’t, actually. Right now, I’d like to take a very beautiful woman to dinner.” He certainly was a charmer, I had to give him that.

“Well, when you put it that way, how can I resist?” I beamed, taking the hand he offered to me.

Oliver wined and dined me with style. The conversation followed effortlessly, and a few hours later we were back in the bar having a nightcap.

“I really can’t thank you enough for dinner, Oliver.”

“It was my pleasure, Jade. I’ve enjoyed your companionship immensely tonight.”

“Do you really own your own company?”

“Why do you ask that?” he chuckled into his coffee mug.

“You’re so young and…fun. I thought CEOs were supposed to be bald with beer bellies, and be too stressed out to even crack a smile.”

“Are those the kind of CEOs you have as your clients?”

  “Yes,” I laughed.

“These interior art skills of yours—how much do they cost?”

“Are you interested in utilizing my skills, Oliver?”

“I’m very interested, Miss Gibbs.” Oliver’s look became almost predatory.

“Maybe we should take this conversation elsewhere, then?” I suggested, looking around the bar.

“Where did you have in mind?” he asked, moving a little closer, his hand lightly skimming my leg.

“I was thinking of retiring for the night. It’s getting quite late,” I breathed, stretching out to play with his tie.

  “Alone?”

“Actually, I was kind of hoping for some company,” I whispered timidly, pushing off my stool and slowly walking toward the lobby area. Counting to five, I turned to see Oliver walking toward me, looking dark and dangerously handsome. I was actually looking forward to seeing if this guy was any good in bed.

I pushed the button for the elevator and leaned against the wall just as he caught up with me.

“I hope I’m reading these signs correctly,” he grinned just as the elevator doors opened. With a timid smile, I stepped in and pulled him with me. Oliver crashed his lips against mine right as the doors closed behind us.

Kissing was second nature to me. I could fake desire, even if it felt like I was kissing a wet fish, but as Oliver lifted me by my ass and pinned me against the elevator wall, I groaned in actual pleasure. I didn’t have to fake it. Desire flooded through my veins as I ran my hands into his dark hair.

“Christ, you’re beautiful,” he groaned, his lips moving down my neck while his hands began to fumble for the hem of my dress. I was going to end up dry humping the guy if he kept on like he was.

“Ugh…” I groaned as his hands worked their way under my dress and gripped my ass cheeks roughly. “Oliver…ugh…which floor?” He leaned toward the elevator buttons with me still flush against him and pressed a button before quickly returning to his attack on my neck.

“I saw you the moment I walked into the bar tonight,” he purred, his hands running slowly down my chest. Both my legs were wrapped around his waist. “And I wanted you.”

“Ugh…I…I’m flattered,” I said, forcing a blush. The elevator opened and Oliver finally let me go. As I slid down his body, I could feel his muscles through his shirt. Mm…it really was going to be a fun few months.

“I want you to know I don’t usually do this sort of thing,” I muttered, playing with the zipper on my purse while he opened the door to his suite.

“Neither do I.” He shook his head as if to clear it from a random thought, and somehow, I didn’t believe him. He was too smooth and confident to have never picked a girl up in a bar before.

“Wow, your room is so much bigger than mine!” I acted awestruck, gazing around as I placed my bag on a table. “Is this just the living area?” I gasped, turning to see that he was suddenly right in front of me. He responded by crashing his lips against mine while backing me against the wall.

“I don’t want to make small talk anymore. I just want to fuck you, Jade,” he growled into my ear. Holy crap! I was so turned on; I could feel the wetness between my legs begin to flow. His hands came back up underneath my dress, but rather than grab my ass like he had in the elevator, he simply pulled my panties down. “Do you want me to fuck you?”

“YES!” It was a plea, because in that moment, I’d never wanted anything more. I heard his belt buckle and the sound of foil before he was suddenly slamming me hard against the wall. Fuck, I’d dreamed of being taken this way, but never once had I thought it would happen. Who was this guy?

“I’m going to make you cum harder than you’ve ever cum before,” he smoldered into my ear. His fingers slowly teased my entrance and I arched my back, needing more. “I can feel how much you want this. I know your kind—shy and withdrawn. Let me free you. Let me release the desire I know is inside you.” Oh, this guy had no idea just how much desire burned within me. I wrapped my legs tightly around his waist, drawing him close before I bit down on his neck.

“Fuck, yes,” Oliver growled, and with one deep thrust he was inside me.

I’d never been fucked that hard before. I was wanton. I needed everything the guy could give me as he slammed into me over and over again while I was pinned against the wall. “You feel so good,” he panted between thrusts.

“Fuck me harder!” I was totally breaking character, but I’d never had a man bring me to orgasm without my help before, and right then, I needed that moment more than the air I breathed.

“Harder? You better brace yourself then.” Oliver gripped my legs and rotated his hips before pushing deeper and faster inside me.

Before I could make sense of what was happening, I felt myself begin to build—the feeling becoming warmer and more intense with each of his movements. He was going to make me cum. Jade Phillips—top Seductor—was finally going to cum by the power of a man!

“Give it to me, Jade. Don’t you fucking dare deny yourself!” Oliver could feel my orgasm begin to take control, so he slid his fingers between us, circling my clit to help ease my release out.

When I did explode, it was earth shattering.

“Ugh…fuck…fuck…fuck,” I groaned, my entire body trembling.

Oliver continued to pound into me until he found his own release. “Fuck, yes, Jade…ugh…ugh…I knew you’d make me cum this hard!” Oh my God! He looked so hot when he climaxed.

I was still pinned against the wall, held up by his arms as we regulated our breathing.

“You see?” Oliver finally spoke. “I knew there was a wild girl in there somewhere.”

Oh, Oliver, you have no idea.

  Chapter Two

My legs were a little wobbly as Oliver finally led me into his bedroom.

  “Wow, this bedr
oom is something else,” I gasped when he turned the bedside lights on. He’d pulled his slacks back up, but they were still partly open and I had to fight the urge to lick my lips. I was desperate to fuck this guy again since he’d just made me cum harder than ever before, but something told me from our time against the living room wall, that Oliver liked to take the lead in the bedroom.

“You didn’t really come here to look at the interior of this bedroom, did you, Jade?” His voice was husky as he pulled me back into his arms. “I was hoping you were here for something else.”

“If it’s more of what just happened out there, then yes, that’s exactly what I’m here for.” I closed my eyes as I felt his hands begin to undo the buttons on my dress.

Very slowly, Oliver began to pull it down my body. I wasn’t wearing any panties, and figured they were still on the floor in the living area somewhere.

“Christ, you’re perfect,” he said as he gazed at me in awe. His hands ran down my back before he cupped my ass.

Standing before him in just my black lace bra, I could feel my body begin to burn with need again. I wasn’t sure who was playing whom at the moment.

I held my breath, fighting back a moan as he moved behind me and gripped my breasts firmly in his hands. “I’m going to take this one slow. You’re going to feel everything, Jade.” Oh, that sounded glorious, and yet I tried to reason with my mind. Wasn’t I supposed to be seducing him and not the other way around?

I could take the night off and just lose myself, couldn’t I? It would be well deserved. I’d get back on the case tomorrow. Tonight, I just wanted to come alive under this man’s touch.

I felt his hands undo the clasp on my bra, and gently, he pushed it off my shoulders so it fell to the floor.

“Go and lie down on the bed on your back,” he whispered with a voice like pure velvet. I did as I was told, which was a first for me. Me taking orders from a man—what was the world coming to?

His eyes raked over my body while he began to undress. “You are one hell of a sight, Jade,” he smoldered. I giggled almost hysterically at how this situation had changed. I was lying there, just waiting for this man to take me to the deepest depths of pleasure. Why wasn’t my mind on the job? “Close your eyes,” he ordered as he unbuttoned his shirt. I was pissed! I wanted to see his body first, and yet I still followed his instructions.
