“Neither is you being miserable every weekend.”
They stared at each other for a long, long moment.
“Is this it?” Derek asked. “We’re going to end like this?”
Andy shook his head. “You always did give up too soon. There’s got to be another way out.”
“If we work together.”
“As a team.” Andy nodded. “Maybe I’m a PC this time around. Not the GM.”
“And we’re up against the whole world.” Derek’s words were soft, almost as soft as the fingers he ran against the side of Andy’s face. “You know what that means.”
“Yeah.” Andy turned his face just enough to kiss Derek’s hand. “We attack!”
Author Bios
Misa Izanaki
Despite being born and raised in a very sunny part of the world, Misa prefers dreary, rainy days to hot, sunny ones. Mornings and static electricity are the banes of her existence and she has a fondness for cats, squirrels, weird movies and anime. Misa spends most of her free time curled up on the couch typing away on her laptop with the food channel on as background noise or lurking on the internet. When she’s not on her computer Misa can be found painting war game miniatures, gaming or trying in vain to catch up with her backlog of comics and books.

H. B. Kurtzwilde: The Fully Fictionalized Bio
Byron lives deep in the wet, sticky, mosquito-ridden depths of Florida. When not busily avoiding alligators, he scribbles out futuristic and paranormal romance, as if this is any way for a grown person to behave. Though he claims to be a product of higher education, evidence has not been forthcoming.
Though he has a vast collection of nicknames and often answers to the wrong ones, Byron Kurtzwilde is not a man of mystery. He's a simple, straightforward guy who would never crack off-color jokes, rib his friends about personal habits, nor be involved in any so-called “Frog Gigging Shenanigans.”
His published novels include Guide to Survival volume 1: Scion of the House of Garu and volume 2: The Legacy. Short stories include Buying Day, also part of the Guide to Survival saga. Other shorts can be found in Toy Box: Rope and Toy Box: Piercing. The poetry and dirty songs are obviously the product of an untempered mind, and are best left in the shadowy, distant past.

CB Potts
CB Potts is the author of Recovery, Recovery Ranch, and a bunch of other stuff -- but she holds a special place in her heart for gamers. "That's where I really learned about the power of story and storytelling, all those Friday nights in a buddy's basement, watching fates change with a roll of the dice." Despite numerous claims that she's going to do so, CB has yet to have a proper website. You can find her instead at http://cbpotts.livejournal.com and (rarely) at www.myspace.com/cbpotts
