Ryan frowned. “Who?”
“She wants a baby brother.”
His frown dissolved into a warm grin. “That could be arranged.”
“On one condition,” Cat teased.
Ryan raised an eyebrow.
“We have to agree on a name first.”
“That doesn’t sound like an insurmountable task,” he said.
“Even if I want to name him after a man I once loved?”
Ryan narrowed his eyes. “What man is that?”
Cat grinned. “I want to call him Trace Gallagher.”
“Trace Gallagher Christopher?” Ryan laughed. “That’s some handle for a little boy.”
“We’ll shorten it to T.G. Or how about Tiger as a nickname?”
“Whatever you want,” Ryan said agreeably, “but I’m ready for the next step.”
“Decorating the nursery?” she asked with a twinkle in her eye.
His eyes burned with love as he lowered his head toward hers. “You know exactly what I’m talking about. Come to bed.”
She slid her arms around his neck and arched on tiptoe for his kiss. “I thought you’d never ask.”
