Ava & Corban's Wedding
“I’ve never liked weddings,” I announce to Evan.
I stare into my watered-down whiskey.
I take a sip, and make a face.
“The drinks are never that good, and the food is terrible,” I tell him.
Evan grins at me.
I sigh.
Apparently, even the Central Park Boathouse is no exception to the terrible wedding stereotype.
Ava and Corban manage to shine through it all; my incredible daughter and her husband!
It's impossible to believe that I'm going to be a grandfather.
“Not a fan of weddings, either, Dad,” says Evan.
“However, there seem to be a few interesting things to do around here,” he says, pointing to Victoire.
A small smirk accompanies Evan's statement.
“Evan, she's off limits,” I tell him.
“Don't even think about trying to sleep with my public relations manager, she will rip off your…” I begin.
Then, I stop myself.
For all I know, that’s something that turns him on.
Aggressive women – not ball torture.
I know Victoire doesn't like mixing business with pleasure, and especially not with her boss' son.
I look forward to watching Evan get the hell slapped out of him after he saunters over to Victoire, who's speaking with Tinsley.
Tinsley, who was, mere weeks ago, at the engagement party, but has barely said ten words to me.
I'm hoping that if I give her enough time, that everything will be alright.
Across the room, Tinsley's hazel eyes widen at something Victoire has said to Evan, and she slips away as I watch Vic point her finger at my son.
Corban and Ava are long gone.
I laugh and catch Tinsley’s attention.
I motion for her to join me at the bar.
She shakes her head but comes towards me anyway.
She smiles, and I feel that familiar pang.
My lust.
For her.
My love.
For her.
She’s saying something, but I don’t really hear her.
She’s captivating.
The way her eyes dance.
The motion of her face, the small laugh lines around her eyes…
I nod, as if I heard her.
“Do you even know what I just said, Noah?” she asks.
I grin, caught by her.
I shake my head, never taking my eyes from hers.
“I said, d
id you know Evan was going to get his head bitten off?” she asks, and then orders a drink.
She glances back at Evan and Victoire.
With Ava and Corban away, I doubt anyone would care if she made a scene.
Anyone but Olivia, I think.
My ex-wife, however, is too busy making eyes at someone I don't recognize to notice the scuffle that's about to take place.
“My money is on Vic,” I tell her.
“I don't think Evan can hold his own, against a gorgeous woman in heels,” she responds.
I take Tinsley in, from head to toe.
She is a sight for sore eyes.
Her fabulous lilac dress strategically hugs her body, with a slit right up her thigh.
She looks incredible!
“Are you talking about your son, or yourself?” Tinsley queries.
“I'm talking about the gorgeous woman in front of me,” I admit.
“Noah...,” Tinsley begins.
“I know what you're about to say,” I cut her off.
“You still can't be with me, right? Because of all I put Ava through to protect you?” I ask.
“No. It’s because I still love you,” she admits.
“I saw how happy Ava was, and I realized something,” she says.
“And that would be?” I ask, trying not to sound too excited.
She leans close to me.
I can smell her perfume.
The clean scent of her.
“How can I hold anything against you, when you're the only man in my heart, and Ava is happy?” she murmurs into my ear.
Her words only serve to arouse me.
She motions around the room.
“They've had a beautiful wedding; and twins on the way,” she whispers.
I lower my voice to match hers.
“Our life together could be amazing,
too, dear,” I tease her.
I mock kiss her cheek, and she moves close.
I move away, smiling ruefully.
“I don’t think we should end up in the Society section on Page Six, do you?” I say.
She looks at me, astonished, and then takes a swat at my arm.
I deftly dodge her blow, and then grasp her by her delicate elbow.
“May I have this dance, Miss Whittaker?” I ask.
“Always, Mr. Stone,” she replies.
Then, I lead Tinsley onto the dance floor.
The months of back and forth, of trying to reconcile with her, of my over-protecting Ava - all of that has faded away.
I did the right thing.
Tinsley is no longer in danger because of Elizabeth, and now, we can finally be together!
She knows that, up to now, finding my daughter was my life.
I’ve found her, and she will soon have a family of her own.
Everything worked out.
Not exactly as I planned, but it worked out.
“Everything has worked out, hasn’t it?” I say, Tinsley looking at my face, and smirking.
“I know,” Tinsley's voice is dreamy as I place a hand on the small of her back.
“You're the only man for me, Noah,” she purrs.
“You have always been the woman in my heart,” I confess.
“Always, and forever,” I say.
“And Elizabeth?” she asks me.
She's still unsure of what was between Elizabeth and me.
I'm still not exactly sure myself.
Was it just attraction?
I didn’t really think I’d find true love, but Tinsley is here, dancing in my arms.
“You know the answer to that; I’ve never had this feeling with her. What we've found, you and I, in each other,” I confirm.
“And that is?” Tinsley smiles at me, her eyes shining.
She's practically glowing.
“The kind of love that never let's go,” I say as I twirl her and bring her back into my arms.
“The kind of love that spans lives. This is the most real thing I've ever felt in mine,” I whisper into her ear.
“Oh, Noah!” Tinsley looks as though she's about to tear up.
“You're so…” she trails off.
Tinsley doesn't know what to say.
“You're beautiful,” I tell her.
“Don't think that my feelings for you have ever waned, not even for a second. I've always loved you through this, and I will always love you,” I say.
“I love you,” she says, as a single tear slips down her cheek.
I kiss it away, before moving to her full lips.
Then our lips are intertwined again, and the world fades away, and I can't imagine being anywhere else.
I'm enthralled with her; this woman has me entirely.
As the song finishes, we move to the table, to sit and watch the festivities wind down.
“How was your trip?” I ask.
“I ran into Hazel and Connor,” she says.
Tinsley pauses for a second.
I can sense something is wrong.
“What?” I ask.
“They were on their honeymoon, and Hazel just... she seemed miserable. We talked a bit, but, she seemed like she was afraid to say anything. I think they're meeting my father and Julian in London soon. She'll be home, and I can get something out of her then,” she says.
I'm not sure what to say.
Connor makes me uneasy, and Tinsley's comment makes me shake my head.
“Don't worry about it,” I soothe her with my voice.
“They'll come back, you'll see your best friend, and all will be well,” I comfort her.
I lead her back onto the dance floor for the last song of the night.
Tinsley wraps her arms around my neck, and I hold her close to me.
I've craved her warmth forever.
I can't stop myself from kissing her.
Her lips are soft and welcoming.
I missed this.
We are making out like a couple of teenagers on the dance floor at prom.
I don’t care about Page Six any more.
When we pull away from each other all I want is to take her to bed.
“Are you ready to leave?” I growl in her ear.
“Does that mean you're taking me home?” her sultry voice begs me.
“I think it's time we made our exit,” I say.
We gather ourselves and step out to the curb.
The limousine pulls up, and the Driver exits to open the door.
Tinsley slides in close beside me; I toy with the loose curls of her hair.
In response she pulls out the pins, letting it fall.
“Much better,” I say with admiration.
“You look much less uptight like that,” I say.
“Noah, I haven't been that uptight for a long time,” she teases me.
I run my fingers through her hair.
Her eyes settle seductively on mine.
“Are you going to seduce me, Mr. Stone?” she asks, coyly.
She's hearkening back to our first time together.
“Wouldn't dream of it,” I lie, smirking at her.
“Too bad,” she pouts.
Then, her smile lights up her eyes, and before the Driver closes the door behind us, we are kissing.
We share the feverish, passionate kisses of two lovers who have all the time in the world.
Every single kiss draws her closer to me in the car, until I've got one hand entangled in her hair, the other on her thigh, where the slit in her dress has given me ample access to her tanned skin.
When she opens her mouth to mine, I lose myself in the moment, my hand sliding further up her dress, to her ass, and a low moan escapes her lips.
She works away my belt, then the buttons on my pants before helping me to shrug off my jacket, and loosens my bow tie.
“I need you, Noah,” she gasps, as I yank her panties down her legs, over her heels.
Tinsley undoes my belt, and pushes my pants below my hips with her heels, then pulls me down on top of her.
Pushing her dress up above her waist, I don't waste time.
I direct my throbbing cock into her wetness, hearing her gasps of pleasure; as my cock fills her; as her fingers grip my shoulders; as her hips move against me; as she wraps her legs around my waist.
My hands travel up and down her legs, caressing her supple skin, under the dress, from her waist to her hips.
We move together seamlessly, and the time flows freely.
I can touch everything I want, and as I thrust into her, she times the movement of her hips into rhythm with my passion, and our lips meet again.
It’s all feverish disarray, and I am lost, feeling her tightness wrap around my cock, and hearing the sound of her moans straight into my brain.
“Oh god, Noah!” she gasps and moans as she grips the door behind her.
I drive into her body, I give her what she needs to satiate her thirst.
Every single movement engulfs us in blinding lust for each other.
Tinsley draws it from me, as she comes closer to finding her release.
Our eyes connect, and my hands frame her face, realizing it's impossible to think that I have endless time with this woman.
Hot, and sweaty, I run my hands along her thighs, taking in the sight of her pleasure, something I promise myself I will never forget.
It's burned into my memory, as I take hold of her hips, giving her more and more until she screams my name and I feel her let go, watching as her orgasm shudders through her arching body.
I am mesmerized by the way she tenses up and screams my name.
I can't help myself.
My release follows, and the intense wave of orgasm shoots through my body, and I am pinning Tinsley against the leather seats.
I roar her name, and she crests over the orgasmic horizon.
We cum together, calling and moaning eac
h other's names.
Tinsley swirls around on my cock, her breathing uneven as her whole body shakes.
“Oh God, Noah!” she whines, breathing heavily.
I collapse onto her, my weight pressing her into the luxurious leather.
“You're the most amazing man I've ever met,” she whispers, gulping air.
“You're the only woman I want to be with,” I return, and then my hands twist in her hair as I draw her to me for another passionate kiss.
“Truly?” she asks.
“Don't ever think that anyone, or anything will lessen my love for you,” I say as I kiss her.
Tinsley is the only woman I could ever possibly want.
The Driver waits until I open the door, making sure we are both somewhat composed, as I stuff her panties in my jacket pocket.
He bids us goodnight, and tips his hat, smiling, as we exit the limo.
He closes the door, and drives off.
