by Des Sheridan
A thousand thoughts rebounded around Robert’s brain. Whatever had happened to Shay, Robert was convinced it must be related to the find at Rosnaree. There was no way he could buy all this as coincidence. Then there was this beautiful but troubled woman slumped on his arm. He couldn’t put out of his mind Tara’s dreams, her uncanny connection with the object in the tomb and the strange verse that Malachy had read out. It was all so bizarre, but at least he had got Tara off that bloody hill and kept her safe. Whatever lay ahead, he would do his damnedest to look after her. She didn’t deserve to follow Shay. This was one woman these murderous bastards – whoever they were – would not get their hands on. He tightened his hold on her shivering body.
