The bell rang. Aneisa swept her straightened black hair up into a ponytail holder and sprinted over from her small floor mat in the center of the living room to answer the front door.

She peeped through the sheer curtain covering the semi-circle window that hung over top the door. A hesitant smile lifted the corners of her mouth. The man standing on the other side of the threshold licked his rose pink lips and her pussy clenched tight. It wasn’t the reaction she had expected at seeing him again. After all, this was one her fiancé’s closest friends, and not someone she, herself, had every held more than a casual relationship with.

Not wanting to keep her visitor waiting too long, she turned the lock and pulled back the door. The effect was instantaneous and Aneisa felt the hypnotic pull of the visitor dragging over her senses the very moment they faced one another.

The face was the same but the attitude was definitely different. The way Jayson Ferria stood there, burly arms folded over his chest, a tiny solid gold hoop hanging casually from his left ear, watching her with bone chilling clear blue eyes, as if he were trying to peer straight through Aneisa’s soul, sent a chill of anticipation through her limbs. The spark of electric hanging in the air was so heavy, she felt her fingertips tingle and heard a slight buzzing in her ears. Her sanity was telling her to close the door, nothing good would come from this reunion, yet the cascading of a warm sensation from the top of her head, rolling through her core, and down to her toes welcomed the chance to tug at fate’s hand.

There was no doubt that a change had come over Jayson. His frame was almost too high and broad for the modest doorframe. He seemed taller than before, much taller. And his shoulders were wider, sturdier, the muscle on his tanned peach arms strained hard against the material of his black fitted T-shirt. The standard uniform of cargo pants and polo shirts that Aneisa had been so use to seeing him wearing on a regular basis were absent. Well-tailored blue jeans hung on his hips and dark boots donned his feet. The dark cotton of the shirt clung to Jayson’s skin. She traced the outline of the sculpted muscles on his broad chest and then gradually moved down the torso of his body to a firm and trim waistline. In her mind, she silently caressed each of those areas, a fantasy of embedding her nails in his hot and sweaty skin played in her mind.

Gone were his signature long blonde locks that Aneisa remembered hanging unevenly around his shoulders. With a new attitude came a new hairstyle, edgier, sharper, and bolder than before. Blonde strands, carelessly tossed in a mix of short spikes and curls on the crown of his head, tapered down to close cut long sideburns. Gone, also, was the warm and friendly smile that she remembered him cheerfully greeting her with on their last meeting. The chiseled angle of his jaw was clenched tight, his perfect mouth silent and unmoving. There was no hint of timid friendliness on his face; instead, his features were calm and confident, silent and commanding.

With his head held high and slightly tilted to the side, and his eyes coolly narrowed and fixed on Aneisa, Jayson was a man who was expecting a certain reaction to his presence. His sizzling energy, rolling off of him in waves, was dominant, almost impatient. Hard, but seductive eyes, waited for Aneisa to respond to his silent and effortless domination of her mind.

Aneisa’s senses had locked onto him. He had been successful in whatever control he was attempting to exert over her. Nothing else existed in this small window of time, only Jayson. Her clit tingled beneath her gray workout stretch pants, and her breasts swelled beneath her white spaghetti strapped cami. Warm brown flesh poked up over the top of her shirt, and the first hints of perspiration started to bead up at the valley between her breasts. A distinctive sensation of moisture was gathering between her thighs. She tried to hold back the tiny ache that was starting to throb at the center of kitty, but her efforts were minimal as she took in Jayson’s hard-bodied frame. He was, without hesitation, the sexiest man she had ever laid her chocolate brown eyes on…excluding her own boyfriend, Shane, of course.

Shane. She had to remember that this was her man’s best friend. Her physical reaction to him was completely inappropriate but she helpless to turn her gaze away. It wasn’t until the first telltale dab of drool edged its way toward the corner of her lips that Aneisa realized she had been standing there with her mouth agape, completed fixated on the man standing brazenly before her. She snapped her lips shut, dropped her eyes away toward the top step, and hurriedly tried to refocus her vision on her friend Jay and not the hot ass body that had her nether regions starting to juice up.

One flash recall of how stimulating his blue gaze was and her eyes lifted up to him once more, hoping to catch another glimpse at the fire dancing behind his irises. A fire that she was daring herself to reach out and touch, wanting desperately to feel the burn. One look and she was caught. He recognized her stunned, damn near lusty, reaction…and it pleased him. The smirk dangling over his delicious mouth and the mischief in the blue icicles of his eyes was more than enough confirmation of this fact. He was pleased with her, and the thrill that she felt at submitting to his silent seduction had her wanting so much more of his approval. She wanted more of his attention, more of his eyes on her, more of his power looming over her. Her slippery insides were on the verge of forcing her unsteady hands to reach out and run loose fingers over the place where his abs were hidden behind his shirt.

“Are you gonna’ invite me in or not?”

  A rou
gh bass cut into her secret thoughts. His voice had changed too. It was richer, deeper, less timid and more menacing, stirring up a creamy craving between her pussylips.

Jayson stepped forward and Aneisa immediately knew that she had guessed correctly when she saw that his body crowded the height of the doorway. He leaned forward and a smell of fresh cut wood made her nostrils flare in reaction to the manly scent. He bent his body enough so that his face was only a fraction of an inch away from hers. She had never once been this close to Jayson in the past but now pondered why she had never sought out the opportunity before today. His magnetism, his raw energy, was causing her nipples to tingle and pebble-up hard.

She was intoxicated by his nearness, loving his invasive authority over her personal space. All she had to do was tip her chin slightly upward and their lips would cascade into one another. She shivered and then wondered if he had seen her movement. The impulse to feel his warmth, to give in to the snare of uncontrollable lust that he was placing before her, was escalating uncontrollably. Not able to control the hunger raging inside of her any longer, Aneisa angled her chin upward slowly, lifting her body up onto the toes of her white socks. She was determined to pull him forward into a deep kiss and, at the very last second, he pulled back just enough to avoid her touch.

He must have sensed her movement. She shook her head, trying to shake his invisible and solid hold on her away. Her head was awash with random and chaotic thoughts, confusion as to why she was behaving so erratically. Jayson was well within his rights to refuse her affection. After all, he had come to visit with her boyfriend not become entangled in some terrible betrayal toward his friend and her live-in lover. While Aneisa struggled with her own guilt and embarrassment, the inviting scent of Jayson’s cologne drifted around her again. He had dipped his head once more, lower and closer to her trembling lips this time. It was like a game. It was as though her hesitation was bringing him back for more, upping the temptation one notch. She moved one foot back into the safety of her home, and he stepped one long leg across the nonexistence barrier she was hoping would hold him at bay.

Aneisa moved her hands up to resist him, and Jayson easily closed both of her tiny wrists within one large palm. She was his captive and Aneisa’s excitement was mounting at the thought of being taken by him; a man who, before today, she would have never once considered as a possible sexual mate. The old Jayson that she once knew was polite and considerate, kind and timid, this new Jayson was none of those things. Not even so much as a hello and he was already forcing his massive and powerful body through her doorway and stomping his way into her life, unexpected but insanely desired. She was weak before him, and he was undeniably in control. Strangely enough, she was enjoying every second of the game. A new thrill, a new path that she was sure could possibly be her undoing.

Aneisa willingly allowed Jayson’s strength and smooth movements to draw her back to him until she was positioned right beneath his chin, her brow brushing against a small goatee of blonde hair there. Her heart thudded away while he pinned her small hands between their two bodies. With his free hand, he cupped her heart shaped face in his palm and raised her chin up. The feel of Jayson swiping his warm lips ever so lightly over her mouth sent Aneisa’s mind spiraling. Her lips tried frantically to clasp themselves to his, wanting to feast on the taste of him, but he managed to evade her desperate attempts once again and moved his mouth to the tender part of her earlobe. Jayson held his position there, breathing in calm and even breaths, then releasing long and heavy exhalations, driving Aneisa wild with reckless desire. The heat from the air escaping his lungs wrapped her up into a warm cocoon of trembling need and desperation. Why was he doing this to her?

“Aneisa,” he whispered, low and seductive, “let…me…in.”

In where? Her mind? Her body? Her sanity? In one heart-pounding moment, he had already seized all of them at once.

Hot lips stroked the top of her cheek.

She dropped her eyes, afraid to meet his icy and irresistible stare. The intensity of his blue irises was sliding down her face, enticing her into wanting to feel small and helpless to pull away, daring her to say no to his next move.

He released his lock on her wrists, setting her free, but that wasn’t what she wanted. Though she could have easily slid away, walked away, ran away, she didn’t. Aneisa’s slim frame was fixed to Jayson, afraid to separate from him. She heard his small laugh, she knew that he had her in the exact position he had intended, needing him, craving him, wanting him to make her do anything he demanded. If he had decided to move away, she might have begged him to come closer again.

Instead, she was relieved to feel a long, well-toned arm slide forward and encircle her tiny waist, drawing her into the intoxicating heat that Jayson’s body was giving off. Closer and closer, until her full breasts and hardened nipples were poking through her thin cami shirt and grazing over the tight muscle of his abs. Jayson’s mouth pressed against the mocha color of her neck and wet lips placed sizzling kisses along its length. Her midsection shuddered and the sensual tissue of her breasts turned razor sharp.

The ringing of the telephone cut her erotic thoughts and dragged Aneisa back to reality.

Embarrassment flooded over her. What was she doing? Why couldn’t she stop this chain of events from happening? Did she even want to?

While she pondered she thoughts, the phone continued to ring out in the background. The sound bouncing off of the walls was familiar yet foreign. Her mind was still clinging to every breath that she felt pouring from between Jayson’s wet lips and over her tingling skin. The feel of Jayson holding her tight was so much more appealing, more familiar. The jingling of the cordless phone was calling her away from a waking fantasy, and Aneisa was hesitant to pull away from the fiery embrace she was locked in. This was she wanted, to be hostage in his arms.

Shane. It could be Shane on the phone.

The name was enough to snap her attentions back to the here and now and Aneisa yanked her body free from Jayson’s firm and alluring grasp. She was aware of no resistance on his part. He allowed her to move away and she hurried over to the stand near the love seat in the sitting room. Had she wanted him to keep her held up against his body, unable to escape his strength? A quick glance backward revealed the indifference on his face, there was no love lost at her pulling away from him.

A thin smile spread across his handsome tan face as he moved himself a little further into the entrance of the split level home. He knew something that she didn’t. She could tell by the way he stood leaning inside the doorframe, his burly arms folded, his stance cocky and confident. His expression was steady, his eyes still watching her, not at all apologetic about what had conspired between them. This couldn’t be the same man whom she had labeled as being a big sweetheart, almost a living teddy bear, the last time they had crossed paths only a year ago. What a difference such an abbreviated amount of time can make in a person’s life. Had Jayson’s sudden and dramatic shift in personality been the cause of his split from Summer last year? Aidan had never seemed like her type so Aneisa was clueless as to how those two had ended up together. Could this new Jayson have scared Summer away? Aneisa had only known this seemingly new person for less than five minutes and she was already terrified of his surreal effect on her. He was exotic…enticing…dangerous, and very appealing to her more indulgent side, a part of herself she rarely liked to show to anyone, even Shane. In that moment, after that quick survey, she decided that he was too appealing and Aneisa made a mental note to make sure she kept herself in check from this point onward. She loved Shane and their relationship was too important for her to toss it all away for one hasty moment of passion.

On the last ring, she snatched up the phone and clicked it on.

  “Hello,” her voice was shaky.

  “Hey, sweetheart.”

Shane’s tone was bright and welcoming and Aneisa immediately felt a twinge of guilt. Here was her man calling her a beloved pet name and, not more than a minu
te ago, she was willingly pulled into an erotic embrace and nearly over come by forbidden lust for one his friends.

“Hey, baby,” she tried to steady her voice and calm her breathing.

“What’s wrong, you okay?” His tone was more concerned this time.

“Yeah, I’m fine,” she lied and her eyes immediately shifted over to where Jayson still waited.

Did he even realize what the two of them had almost done? He and Shane were college buddies for four years, even roomed together for their freshman terms. They were like brothers and now Jayson had shown up at his friend’s door, after a year away, and had almost succeeded in entangling another man’s woman in a dangerous web of lies and lust. What happened to the sweet guy that she use to know? Didn’t he even care about the consequences of what had almost gone down in the front door, in full daylight, for all of the neighbors to see? From the smug unconcern that had settled over his face, he obviously didn’t, not one bit.

“Did he get there yet?” Shane questioned.

“Who?” Her sight was still fixed on that lazy blue gaze and Aneisa’s thoughts were starting to slip away again.

“Jayson. Remember I told you that he was back in town and stopping by today. You sure you’re all right?”

There was a pause and, in the midst of that awkward silence, Aneisa realized that she had shamefully allowed her mind to become captivated by Jayson’s towering physique again. A slight tremble passed over her lips, and she pulled them in until the movement steadied.

“Of course I do. He’s here now,” was all she could manage to say after taking in a slow breath to calm her nerves.
