Cole's Mates Page 11

In the middle of the night she was wrapped around a sleeping Jaron, head resting on his shoulder, Ren hugging them both.

  Chapter Fourteen

Trina stared at the three as they worked around each other in the kitchen. “Shit, you’d think they had been together forever,” she replied, sipping her coffee.

Greg chuckled, hand stroking the back of her neck. “Jealous?” he teased.

Trina smiled, shaking her head. “Happy, actually,” she declared leaning against her husband. Greg grinned, pulling her into his lap, snuggling her close.

“Hey, overgrown adolescents, no making out at my table,” Ren barked from the kitchen, his back to them. He knew they were touching, could hear his brother-in-law’s pant. It was faint, but a Wolf knew a man ready to pounce and his brother-in-law was rearing to pounce. No way was it happening in his kitchen!

Trina giggled. “Oh, shush, Ren, my husband can hug me if he wants!”

Jaron chuckled, swatting Cole’s bottom. “Hurry up, filly, hungry here and have work to do,” he urged. He couldn’t wait to get out to the barn and get setting up the stalls. He, Ren, Lane, and Theo had already talked over who had which stall and what needed doing. His insides flipped at the thought of getting Cole out there, maybe bending her over a spanking bench and Ren having at her with a flogger.

Cole rolled her eyes. “Hey, feel free to sit down and eat,” she countered, placing a large platter of flapjacks, bacon, and eggs on the table, grabbing Jaron and pushing him into a seat.

Ren laid out the fruit platter and started pouring milk for the kids that were present. “Theo and Lane must’ve kept them up with stories last night,” he called across the table, grabbing a piece of toast, biting into it.

Cole shrugged. “Maybe.” She really hoped they were good stories. Maybe she should go out and make sure they were all okay. The short walk alone may do her good. She needed to register what happened last night. Her cheeks warmed as sensual thoughts filled her mind.

Ren kissed the nape of her neck, hugging her close. “I’ll go wake them,” he whispered, ushering her to the table. “Jaron, feed her,” he ordered, grabbing up her coffee and placing it in front of her.

Jaron grabbed up Cole’s plate, filling it to heaping. Cole stared at him. “I won’t eat all that,” she cried.

Jaron grinned. “Try,” he offered, filling his own plate.

The day was filled with outdoor activities. Adults showing youngsters the joys of horseshoes, a couple playing badminton in an open part of the yard. A group of teens from town were heading down to the river for a dip. Elders from nearby ranches sat on the back porch, enjoying the view, nibbling on cookies, and enjoying fresh lemonade.

Trina knelt in the grass, trying to coax Etty to shift. Cole knelt down next to Trina, seeing the fear in her daughter’s eyes. Jake already yelped around the yard chasing after Hanna.

“Come on, Etty, hon…it’s an amazing feeling,” Trina coaxed.

Etty shook her head. “No…I don’t want to.”

Cole held her arms open and Etty scurried into them burying her face against her breasts. Cole sighed, rubbing her back. “I’ll do it with you…If you’d like, me and you can go down to the river and be alone while we do it?” Etty had always been shy. Maybe it being just the two of them would ease her.

  Etty shook her head. “Scared.”

Trina smiled. “Hanna was, too, when she first changed. Scared she would be stuck like that forever.”

Etty peeked out at Trina. “You, too?” she asked.

Trina laughed. “Long time since my first time, little one…I was afraid I would hop on the first boy I came across,” she shared.

Etty scrunched up her nose. “I would never hop on a boy,” she said in disgust.

Cole smiled. Thick muscled arms circled her waist and warmth surrounded her. The scent of Jaron filled her nostrils and warmth warmed her from deep within.

“What happened?” Jaron asked, hand covering Cole’s as she rubbed Etty’s back.

Etty peeked up. “They’re trying to make me change!” she squealed, sitting up.

Jaron rested his chin on Cole’s shoulder. “And you’re not? Why?” he asked.

Etty shook her head. “I don’t want to,” she whined.

Jaron raised an eyebrow. “That’s not a good enough reason. I want to hear why you won’t,” he demanded.

Cole furrowed her brow at the tone Jaron was taking with her daughter. An overwhelming feeling filled her. These people were pushing her daughter and she knew it needed to happen, but Etty needed their patience.

Etty harrumphed. Jaron returned the harrumph, hugging Cole close. “I guess you won’t be able to come on the run then? I suppose you can stay here with the baby,” he replied airily. It had always worked on the youngsters. Being compared to the baby and missing out on something as grown-up as a run with the adults.

Etty glared up at him. “I’m not a baby!” she argued.

Jaron huffed. “Really? ’Cause only babies won’t change…I remember my first time…it was awesome. I ran as fast as I could through the trees. The smells are different. I even tracked my parents to make sure I could. That way if I was ever separated from them I would always know how to find them.” He tightened his grip on Cole. “I can’t wait to track your momma…that way if she ever gets lost in the woods, I can come save her.” He hoped Etty bought the bait. It was important that she change. It would be overwhelming if her change didn’t happen soon. Her emotions would go out of whack. She could feel lost, like she didn’t belong to the pack. She needed to know her pack leader’s scent. Her family’s scent.

Etty scoffed. “Ren will never let mommy get lost,” she replied rather assuredly.

Jaron nodded. “I agree. He wouldn’t, but your momma’s fast. I heard she’s a fast runner and she’s beautiful. You should see her, Etty! I bet your coat will be a brilliant shimmering russet. I can’t believe Jake’s is white. It’s rare.” His gaze met Etty’s. “It would be interesting to see if you’re like him. The ones with the white coats are special, did you know that?”

Etty shook her head biting her lower lip. “You have white on you?” she asked.

Jaron smiled. “I have a streak of it,” he admitted.

Trina chuckled. “So does Ren, hon. Your momma probably has the same streak.”

Etty looked up at her momma. “Do you?”

Cole shrugged. “I don’t know, hon. You’ll have to ask Ren.”

Etty peeked around the yard, looking for him. Almost everyone was out either playing horseshoes or doing archery. The kids ran around in their Wolf forms and her eyes lit as she spotted Ren crouched ruffling her brother’s fury head, rubbing him around the ears. Her gaze met Ren’s and when he smiled it calmed her. She watched as he spoke something to her brother and his bushy tail stopped wagging and his head reared around and she swore the little Wolf smiled at her. “Jake’s smiling, Momma,” she said in awe.

Trina stood, stretching. “Kay, we have a powwow going on now. Think you three can handle the doll?” she asked, brushing her fingers over Etty’s head. “I really hope you’ll try, Etty,” she said before turning away, making a beeline for her husband and baby.

Etty peeked up at her momma. “Do I have to, Mommy?” she whined.

Cole shook her head. “You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to, hon,” She wouldn’t force her daughter to do it. Not today. She would push her as the days went on, but never would she force her. “I would love to see you though.”

Etty peeked up at her. “You’ll go first?”

Cole nodded. “I will.” Her heart skipped a beat. Etty would do it!

Etty nodded. “Kay, down by the river, just me and you,” she whispered.

Cole bit her lip, nodding. She didn’t really like the idea of going down there by herself. Why she ever offered it up was beyond her. She peeked back at Jaron. He pecked her on the temple and she knew he wouldn’t be too far away from them. “Kay, up, hon,” she or
dered.

Ren leaned against the tree, watching as Cole removed her clothes, Etty’s eyes wide and waiting. Cole was telling her something, but he was too far away to hear. If he changed he would be able to hear her every word. But she would smell him immediately and he wasn’t sure how she would react with her cub around. It was best if he just stayed in his human form.

Jaron leaned against the other side of the tree. “She’s beautiful,” he professed.

Ren nodded. The two watched as she removed the rest of her clothes, turning to her daughter. Etty had a concentrated look on her face and pulled her dress over her head and shucked off her hose and shoes. Ren smiled at the way Cole gave a smile of approval to her daughter. They watched as Cole lowered to her knees and faced Etty again, talking, probably assuring her not to be scared. Both men tensed as Cole changed and lowered to her belly in front of Etty.

“She’s a little rough,” Jaron whispered. Cole’s head turned and looked in their direction.

Ren smiled. “Yes, and her hearing is excellent,” he offered back. Jaron smiled. Indeed it was.

Etty reached out, touching her mother’s long snout, her finger trailing up between her eyes and whispering over her silken ears. “You’re beautiful, mommy,” she gasped in awe, scooting forward and petting her.

  Cole whined, nudging her daughter.

Etty bit her lower lip. “I just gotta think it, Mommy?” she asked looking into her mommy’s eyes.

Ren’s heart beamed in pride as the little fluff of rich red stood proudly in front of Cole. Jaron grinned. “Look at that.” He puffed. Rich red with white-tipped ears and tail.

“See her left hind foot?” Ren asked.

Jaron’s gaze shot to the left hind leg and he grinned. It too was white. “Think she’ll attack if we step out?” he asked.

Ren shook his head. “Nope, she knows we’re here,” he assured, watching as Etty narrowed her clear eyes on them. “Albino eyes…”

Jaron raised a brow. “Cole must’ve had medicine in her family line.”

Ren nodded. “Need to do some research on our Cole.” He pushed away from the tree and entered the clearing the two wolves sat in. He lowered to his knees and waited to see if Etty would come to him. Shit, he would love for Cole to. She should. She needed to know his and Jaron’s scents. His heart beamed as the two trotted forward. Etty sat on her hind legs as Cole circled him, her wet nose nudging under his chin.

Jaron chuckled when she licked his cheek. Etty yelped out and Jaron shushed her. “A minute, little one. Let Momma get a taste first,” he ordered, watching as Cole placed two big paws on Ren’s chest and pushed him back. Ren let her and smiled as she laid over him. He rubbed her sides and she nuzzled his neck. “Beautiful,” he praised.

Cole whined and licked his neck before moving off of him and going to Jaron.

Jaron lowered to his knees, staying still as Cole circled him sniffing him and eventually laying her head on his shoulder and snuggling him.

Ren smiled, sitting up, patting his lap for Etty to come. Etty pounced on him and snuggled down. Cole trotted back to him, snuggling to his side and laying her head on his knees, cocooning Etty between his stomach and her head.

  Chapter Fifteen

Cole cocked her head in awe. Theo raised his arm, the thick heavy flogger whipped through the air and thudded beautifully against Marty. The woman panted, sweat drenched her, and her hair was plastered to her head. Theo delivered three more blows, leaned close and whispered something in her ear. Marty moaned and her ass lifted. Theo chuckled, glancing over his shoulder at Marty’s husband, giving him the go-ahead to take her. This is what she had wanted to experience. That lost in her own world and too high on endorphins to notice that anyone else was in the room.

“She’s beautiful when she comes,” Trina whispered.

Cole glanced at her. “Will you go up?” she asked.

Trina shook her head. “No…Greg is the only one that spanks this ass and he refuses to bring me to that place in case Ben needs me.”

  Cole nodded. That made sense.

“You gonna let Ren take a turn at you?” she asked, watching Marty scream her climax.

Cole shook her head. “No…we’ve talked a little about it.” She shrugged. “I don’t think I’m ready to go there just yet,” she admitted. It had been hard enough facing the St. Andrew’s cross and being able to breathe when standing in front of it. Not feeling rope dig into her flesh, not feel a whip cut into her skin. Not have that gut-wrenching feeling that made her nauseous. She cleared the thoughts from her head, pleased that they were so fleeting now and could be pushed aside so easily.

Trina smiled. “Well, I hope you are soon. It’s been a long time since Ren’s taken anyone like that.”

Cole stepped away. Marty and her husband needed their alone time now. She followed Trina to the back, to the cross. “Ren’s doing his demo soon. Are you sure you won’t volunteer? I heard rumors that you were going to?”

Cole shook her head. “No…not feeling that well,” she whispered. Okay, she could do this, watch Ren handle a whip, watch him bring another woman to the state Marty had just reached. Oh, for fuck’s sake! Ren touching another woman bothered her more than bringing her pleasure from a whip. Her lip curled in a snarl and a possessive feeling filled her. She inhaled a calming breath, easing the angry jealousy from her. Ren was hers. She had nothing to worry about.

Trina raised a brow. “I suppose he could always use Kyla. She likes a good whipping.” She scanned the crowd gathering. “Mind you, he might grab the little blonde over yonder. She looks responsive…”

Cole ignored Trina, knowing she was trying to bait her to get up and be Ren’s for the demo. Strong arms circled her and a friendly kiss was placed on her cheek. She sighed in contentment at the familiar scent and feel of Theo.

“How’d you like it, Cole?” Theo’s deep voice asked.

Cole smiled. “I liked,” she admitted. Shit, he could probably smell the arousal on her.

Theo grinned, hugging her close. “Lane has the kids watching a movie inside…I have another hour before I have to escape, want me to hold your hand while you check anything out?” he offered.

Guards had been put outside the house as well as the barn in case children escaped the confines of the main house. Cole was sure no child would want to leave all the fun activities going on in the house. Not only movies and junk food but crafts, storytelling, and of course, Ren had splurged and bought some gaming consoles for the amount of boys that were in attendance. Cole shook her head. “No, Jaron said he would take me. I think I’ll just watch Ren then head in,” she disclosed, eyes on the devil himself as he stepped up to the cross, whip hanging off his belt. Tight blue jeans, no shirt, his muscles bulged as he moved.

Theo grinned, kissing her cheek. “Handsome, isn’t he?”

Cole nodded. “He is…” her pussy dripped at the sight of him. Her insides flip flopped with dread. Why did she have to actually like this stuff? She hugged herself around the waist. She couldn’t help but have insecurities about the whole scene. Had she not gone and seen it for herself by herself, her life would be the same. Her children would have their daddy. She grunted. How could she even think that! He had been cheating on her! She would have figured it out eventually! She wasn’t completely stupid, was she?

Theo released her and pushed her into Jaron’s arms. “There, safety, little one,” he cooed, hand skimming down the back of her head. “Hold her tight, Jaron. Think she’s having bad thoughts in there.” Theo offered her a comforting smile. “Nothing wrong with that, Cole, but what happened was in no way your fault and you know that,” he reminded her.

Cole nodded. She had been told that numerous times and she hated that she had to be reminded yet again. That she couldn’t just accept that what happened was not her fault.

Ren crossed to the rope that separated his demo area from the onlookers. He reached out caressing Cole’s cheek. “Sure you don’t want to join me, filly?”

/>   Cole blushed shaking her head. “No, thank you,” she said breathlessly.

Ren smiled, thumb caressing her lower lip. “You’re okay if I work with Kyla?” he asked.

Cole lowered her lashes, a sigh of relief leaving her. She had hoped he would work with her rather than a single woman who may want more from him. Pride beamed in her. He had actually asked for her permission! Cole nodded, her gaze meeting his.

He smiled, dipping, his lips caressing hers. “Jaron will be sitting with you there.” He pointed to a hay bale to the side.

Cole swallowed. There was a reason Jaron was sitting with her. She just knew it!

Ren nuzzled her neck. “You will allow him to touch you, Cole. Pet you, kiss you, and bring you to orgasm.”

Cole shivered. Jaron touching her as Ren preformed. She peeked at Jaron and he offered a reassuring smile. “Yes, Sir,” she answered, eyes back on Ren.

Ren smiled and it lit his whole face. “Good girl.” He dipped, taking her mouth hungrily.

Theo chuckled. “Ease up and let the poor pet breath,” he teased, gaze darting across the room at the man who had approached him earlier about wielding a flogger. “Gotta go,” he announced, kissing Cole on the cheek. “Be a good girl. You’re in good hands with Jaron,” he assured her, leaving the group.

Cole grasped Jaron’s wrists, hugging him closer to her. She felt safe here in his arms. The sound of a scream caught her attention and she looked across the way at a woman bent over a spanking bench. A short, robust man smacked her already reddened ass with a paddle.

Jaron kissed her temple. “She’s a screamer. Soon it will be continuous…That’s her husband. They have been attending this gathering for years,” he shared.

Cole watched as he walloped her ass yet again, her body strained and the flash of glittering nipple clamps caught her eyes. “I want to try that.” Her nipples beaded at the thought of those clamps pinching them tightly.
