Alpha King: Red Riding Hood Page 15

by Joanna Mazurkiewicz

She was slowly coming back down to earth.

"Firecracker, oh you can't imagine how sexy you looked just now, coming so hard," he said, standing naked in front of her with his massive erection. Red wasn't all there yet, her thoughts were all over the place when she heard William's next command. "Get on all fours. I need to fuck you hard and fast."

Red found that enjoyed when he dominated her—it was strange considering she’d never liked it with anyone else before, so she willingly obeyed him. Her legs nearly gave out against her weight. Her knees were hurting a little, and the whole table bent slightly when he climbed on it too, situating himself right behind her. Red was wet when he teased her entrance with his massive hard cock. His heated breath against her neck made her shiver with desire. Seconds later, he drove himself deep inside her.

She gasped as he guided her hips, moving slow and easy at first. Red was moaning, and her nipples were hard as a rock.

"Fast, I want you to go faster, Will," she demanded, feeling crazy alive when their bodies were so close.

"Demanding tonight, aren't we?" he asked, laughing, but she moaned loudly when he began pounding straight into her after that. Red could have sworn that the whole house was shaking when he was fucking her from behind, pushing her to the edge.

He was stretching her from inside, digging his nails into her hips. Her body was on fire, and her core grew slick with need. William felt crazy good, and shortly after, she’d forgotten about the fact that they were supposed to be more careful. Their bodies were synchronised perfectly.

Minutes later, they were both coming simultaneously, and Red thought that her heart was going to beat out of her chest. Multiple orgasms began rippling through her as William continued to hammer her fast, snarling like a wolf in heat.

After all that, minutes maybe hours later, she lay on top of him, still in her kitchen, on the same table that on most days she would have her meals. Red couldn't quite believe that she would ever experience something so intense with another man. William was gentle and yet he blew her mind.

Ten minutes later he was lifting her off the table and carrying her upstairs to her bed. Red was numb, exhausted and pleasantly relaxed. She thought that he would give her a break, but he started touching her again. He pushed his warm body on top of hers. Soon they were having sex again in the missionary position, then on the floor, until she finally begged him to let her get some sleep.

Her mind stopped working properly when her head rested on his chest, and sometime later she finally drifted off. She thought that she never felt so lucky in her entire life.

"Are you sure that you're ready for this?" Ruby asked her the fourth time today, making her nervous. Red sighed loudly. She hated lying to her grandmother, but the truth was that she wasn't ready. She’d never had the strength to visit her parents’ grave at the cemetery, but today things were going to change.

She was scared, petrified to finally let them go, but Red knew that it was time to

  move on.

Her Gran Ruby was walking beside her, and Red felt a little braver having her with her. She should have said goodbye years ago, but she’d refused to attend the funeral; a child self-believing that they would come back at some point.

Over the years she stopped believing that it could actually happen, but in the end she never truly let them go.

Caspian and Cindy were back from their trip and William had already paid them a visit. The circumstances of One Eye's death was justifiable, but the highwayman brought all the misfortunes upon himself. He was murdered by his own greed. Red found out a few days earlier that the king fired his head of the army and banned him from the kingdom. William and a few people from town must have informed him that Zulu had been taking gold from the highwaymen. Red was glad that justice was finally served and hoped that now maybe someone much more competent would be willing to take on this new role.

William revealed that he met Caspian once on the road when the vampire needed help. Red had yet to hear the full story, but for now she was happy that life in Farrington was back to normal. The highwaymen were gone, and people could finally stop being afraid of leaving their homes after dark.

Red managed to save her tavern. William made sure that all his men stopped there for a warm meal before heading back to their own lives. Her injuries were minor. She was worried more about William, than herself. His wound needed to be cleaned and sterilised every day, and the healing was going to take longer than normal. The Iron Blade weakened him a little.

"Not really, but it’s time. Now, after I learned that their death was a terrible accident, I'm starting to move on. I should have let them go a long time ago," she replied and Ruby squeezed her hand.

"We were so lucky that our paths crossed with William and his pack. It was such a tragedy, Red, but that werewolf simply lost control. He was wild and inexperienced. You were so young at the time, and it was difficult even for me," her gran explained.

William had managed to confirm that Ruby had been right all those years. A young man turned into a wolf, and lost control of his abilities. Red's parents were just leaving the forest when he attacked them. She should have never blamed herself for their death.

Finally they entered the cemetery, and Red's heart started beating loudly in her chest. The whole place was immersed in silence. Now and then she could see other people paying respect to their family members, but mostly the cemetery was deserted. The calmness was deafening.

They walked for a few minutes passing other graves, until Ruby stopped in front of two white marble stones. The grave of her parents had been well looked after. Her grandmother must have been going there often, when Red failed.

Unease slid down her spine, but she told herself that this felt good—right. She was staring at their names engraved into the marble stone, remembering them like it was only yesterday. Her mother kept telling her that she needed to be strong and keep smiling no matter what.

"I will leave you to it, darling. Take as much time as you need," Ruby whispered in her ear and then walked away.

Red knelt down and ran her finger over her father's grave, feeling calm. She was at peace. It had been too many years, and she didn't want to be stuck in the past. Maybe one day she would have a family of her own.

"Hi, Mum and Dad. Sorry that it's been so long. A lot of things happened and I didn't want to believe that you were gone, and I would never see you again. My heart was shattered," she explained. No one answered her, and that was all right. She promised herself that from now on she would visit more often.

She sat down for several minutes, silently telling them about the recent events of her life. Her heart felt lighter when she was sharing happy memories with them. She didn't even realise when Ruby was standing behind her, patting her on the back.

"Sorry, I just wanted to see if you were okay. We’ve been here for an hour," her gran explained.

"It's fine. I'm all right. Let's go. William and his pack are waiting for us," she said, standing up.

Ruby smiled and they started walking away, heading towards the tavern. Her gran had another date with Mr. Ripley planned, so neither of them wanted to be late. Gran and Mr. Ripley were an item now, and she was waiting for Ruby to start talking about their wedding. Red didn't mind; she wanted her gran to be happy.

Red left Martha in charge of the tavern that afternoon. The place had been packed with people for weeks now, and Red had been working non-stop.

In the end, Martha decided to stop selling her body for money. She was in love with Jack, and he was very open-minded, but was glad that he didn't have to share her any longer. Red considered hiring help, but then put Martha in charge mostly during the evenings and weekends. It turned out that the ex-hooker loved entertaining the crowd, and she brought Red a lot of new customers. Things began changing for Red too. She was still stubborn and independent, but deeply in love with William.

Red was throwing a party tonight for William's pack. When they returned to the tavern, there was a large
table set up in the front of the room, and all the seats were taken by a handsome pack of wolves. William sat in front, and all of Red's staff was running around, serving food and drinks.

"There are my girls. Come on, ladies, everything is still warm and looks delicious," William called out, waving at them. Red smiled, and heat rushed to her spine. After weeks of being together, she finally agreed to be his mate. Will had been persistent and, after a pep talk from Martha, she thought that nothing would make him happier.

He made a decision to stay in Farrington permanently for her. He was still an Alpha, but no longer king of all the werewolves. He gave up some of his responsibilities and he didn't regret it.

Red smiled and joined him by the table. He instantly embraced her with his strong arms and then raised a glass.

"To my mate, boys. Let's raise a glass. It's official now; she's finally agreed to be mine. It took a while, but I finally broke her," William announced and everyone raised their glass for Red and Will, cheering for them. "Everything okay, honeycomb? All done?"

"Yes," she replied, knowing that he was asking her about her trip to the cemetery. "Ruby looked after their graves for so many years. I'm glad that I went because I could finally say goodbye."

She sat on William's lap and felt a jolt of desire swamp through her all of a sudden. In the past several days they’d barely left the bedroom. The whole mating initiation was complex, but Red couldn't get enough of being with him. Now the whole town knew that they were together and even her ex, Charles, had a sour look on his face whenever he saw them in town.

Red watched how most of his pack, Ruby and Mr. Ridley were enjoying the feast that her cook had prepared earlier on. She was happy because she didn't have to worry about her finances anymore and William was staying in town.

"That's all good, honeycomb, but I'm hard and you can probably feel it. How about we sneak down to the cellar, so I can have my way with you again?" he whispered into her ear and then pulled on her earlobe with his teeth. She shivered, aware of his hard erection poking her from behind.

"We can't leave them. They’re my guests, and we have certain responsibilities now," she replied, giving him sharp look. William liked dominating her and sometimes she needed to show him her fierce side too.

"I know what you’re doing, honeycomb, and I bet you're fucking wet for me. Skip the crap and stand up, then walk to the bar. No one will notice us leaving. They’re all going to be drunk soon," William said and she smiled, thinking that she was the luckiest woman alive.

She waited a little longer, and then stood up and walked to the bar. No one paid any attention to them, so they both slipped away, heading down to the cellar, kissing passionately and nearly falling down the stairs.

It was all perfect, Red thought, wrapping her arms around him, knowing that he would blow her mind yet again.
