Three Times Lucky: Five Sizzling Tales of Three-Way Love Page 8

by Kim Carmichael

“Does that mean you can’t breathe when you’re with me?” Reve could almost see air quotes around ‘breathe’ in Kiernan’s tone.

After sharing such impassioned sex, the two in the cave were at odds again. This certainly wouldn’t help his cause of slaking his need for them both. Only one thing to do for it.

Silently, while cloaking his presence, he slipped inside the cave and waved the dream scarf over them. They yawned, and their eyes glazed. The torchlight illuminated their smooth skin, skimming each contour, Kiernan’s hard muscles and Nyx’s soft curves. They presented a picture the god of dreams had only imagined in the darkest nights. So long he had wished for the opportunity, and at last he’d found it. While a twinge of guilt fluttered through his mind, he justified his actions. After all, if he’d let them continue their discussion, they’d only end up arguing. Zeus’s instructions were clear. He wanted them back on earth performing their nightly duties. A quarrel between the gods would never allow that to happen, not after Nyx had gone missing.

Reve’s attentions might offer exactly the distraction the two needed as they re-accustomed themselves to one another. He floated through the cave, taking time to admire both gods. In their current dream-state, their expressions relaxed and the desire they shared returned to the surface. Before Reve could take a breath, Nyx and Kiernan embraced, sliding their hands over one another’s bodies. Their passion became even more apparent when they let their guard down. This was how he envisioned them. Heat sparked in his loins. Her lengthy midnight blue locks and Kiernan’s long black hair flowed over them in a subtle game of hide and seek, covering a shoulder here and a breast there before each god lifted their hands to brush back the strands of the other. Reve hovered over them, waiting for just the right moment to reveal his presence.

Nyx’s lips lifted to her husband’s in blatant invitation. The god of darkness closed his eyes and nibbled at her lips before delving deeper. From deep in her throat, a purr escaped. With both under the combined spell of his dream state and their mutual hunger, Reve chose to uncloak his body and glided his hands over each of their backs, drawing them closer to one another. When they broke their kiss, he nudged forward and kissed both of them before drawing them toward the bed.

  Her eyelids popped up. “What?”

The game could end on that note, but instead, he let the scarf weave its magic on her, letting her drift deeper into the dream state.

“Hush, love. Let the dream take you away, let me pleasure you and your lover.”

“Mm.” Her dark eyes closed again and she lay on the bed, arms open to receive Kiernan. The dark haired couple took their time exploring one another’s bodies, pinching, tugging, caressing until their moans became whimpers of need.

His words drifted over them, a whisper on the heated air. “Yes, you two are made for one another, and yet my dreams will lift you into greater heights if you will allow it.” Many times while viewing their individual dreams, he saw their inner soul longings. Even they were unaware of the deep yearning for something more, something he could provide them.

He stroked his erection, made harder by watching their interaction. While he might have captured one of them alone, his dream had always included the three of them.

A gasp from Nyx accompanied a sigh from Kiernan as they both nodded without breaking their embrace. The bed creaked when Reve joined them, slipping between their legs.

“My love, I need you, but I want to take our time.” Kiernan rolled off of Nyx to lie beside her, but kept hold of her, still massaging her breasts which peaked hard between his fingers.

Reve lowered his lips to the tempting nipple, placing a kiss on the back of Kiernan’s knuckles before capturing the hard nub and suckling until Nyx arched her back and her breath came in heaves. Not wanting Kiernan to be left out, Reve stroked the other man’s chest, making little circles downward until he grasped the other male’s impressive shaft.

Gods, the sensations flowed through him, and if he wasn’t careful, his climax would come fast and hard before he’d had a chance to enjoy them both. He pushed Nyx’s hand away from his erection.

“Not yet, my nighttime lovers. We have all night. I want to arouse you both until you are beckoning me to release you from your lusts for me and each other.” Returning to her breast, he licked and suckled first one and then the other while never losing his hold on Kiernan.

The god of darkness groaned in Reve’s ear. “Gods, don’t stop. You’re making me so hard.”

Reve obeyed, but kept his touch firm enough to prevent Kiernan from soaring to the summit too soon. They’d all reach it in time, together.

“Kiernan, she needs your caresses too.” Reve rose to kiss her neck and suckle just behind her earlobe, eliciting a sharp gasp from her.

Her husband slipped under Reve’s arm to capture Nyx’s nipple between his teeth and tug.

“I need--” Her head tossed from one side to the other, not to get away, but to urge them to continue.

“Tell us, we’re here to satisfy your darkest dreams.” Reve whispered against her skin, but made sure Kiernan could also hear.

The words came out between moans. “Could you both make love to me?”

  He grinned. “You want more?”

“Yes, Reve, much more. Both of you, together.”

“Your dream is my command. Kiernan?” He caught the other man’s glazed eye.

“She needs us both tonight. And I strive to always give her what she needs.” Kiernan’s brows crinkled as if trying to figure out a puzzle, but in his heightened state of arousal and in the midst of the foggy dream, the frown relaxed and he shook the thought away.

The men’s hands roved over Nyx and she pulled Reve up for a kiss. She tasted as sweet as the scent of night jasmine. He swore the flower bloomed inside the cave with her arousal.

Kiernan growled, a possessive sound which begged for her attention.

Slowly she released Reve’s lips and turned toward her husband. “There’s enough of me for both of you.”

“Just remember that.” Kiernan wasted no time in plundering her lips.

While the couple shared the kiss, Reve knelt between her legs, and caressed her abdomen with his fingers and lips before moving lower. He dipped two fingers inside her essence, and her hips lifted toward his hand. He gave her what her body craved, more thrusts in an even rhythm, a prelude to what he would do to her.

They broke their kiss and he lifted his fingers, wet with her slick desire, to Kiernan’s lips and he sucked them. The slight roughness of the man’s tongue rasped against his fingers and he could hardly wait to have it on his cock. Reve climbed once more up the mattress and lingered over Kiernan’s mouth, scenting Nyx’s moisture until slowly, Kiernan opened up to him and they kissed in a stormy convergence of males who weren’t sure if they were lovers or rivals. Only the interruption of Nyx’s voice broke the kiss.

“I want you both.” She laid back, her eyes half open.

When she patted the bed on either side, both he and Kiernan took the invitation. Each took a breast and suckled. Reve lowered his hand between her legs and tangled his fingers with Kiernan’s who evidently had the same idea.

She lifted her hips toward them and her fingers pressed him closer to her chest.

The two gods he’d revered for so long opened to him, welcoming his touches and caresses. He needed more and soon. In a swift movement, he rose up and nudged Kiernan. With an arched brow, he asked his question.

  Kiernan nodded. “Go ahead.”

“I want you too.” Reve paused, waiting for the response indicating understanding. When he pointed toward the god of darkness’s swollen shaft, Kiernan’s eyes opened wide.

Reve nodded and conjured a ceramic jar of jasmine scented oil. With a crooked finger, he beckoned Kiernan over, poured some oil in his palm and proceeded to stroke Kiernan who leaned into Reve’s hand. By the other god’s reaction, the coming events should prove wilder and more intense than Reve’s dreams had ever been. He met Nyx’s eager gaze.
She had risen up on her elbows to watch the two male gods.

Once Kiernan was well lubricated, Reve knelt between Nyx’s legs. She widened them further in anticipation. Yet another confirmation that she, too, was on the precipice and more than willing to take the next step to achieve her satisfaction.

Taking time to reacquaint her with his touch in order to assure her readiness, he circled his thumb over her hardened nub. And with his next movement, he plunged into her. Surrounded by her warm, moist center, he paused to allow her to become accustomed to the differences in his size compared to that of her husband. While Kiernan was long, Reve’s cock had a wider girth and he didn’t wish to hurry things.

When her hips thrust up to him, signaling her willingness to continue, he lunged again and created a slow rhythm guaranteed to see them both to their summit but not too swiftly.

He braced his arms at her sides to make sure he didn’t crush her, then addressed Kiernan. “Now. Feel how you can fill someone else and your sexy wife at the same time.”

Kiernan needed no further encouragement and with exquisite precision moved into position behind Reve. The god of darkness took some of the oil and fingered Reve’s ass.

“It’s so tight. I can’t wait any longer.” Kiernan spoke between clenched teeth.

“Don’t wait. I’m more than ready. Do it.” And with that, he slowed the thrusts into Nyx and relaxed his buttocks. When Kiernan glided into him, the union was complete.

“Use me to show your spouse how much you care. Let me be the conduit between you, Nyx loving darkness and darkness loving the night.” As the god of dreams, he never felt more fulfilled than being impaled by darkness and plunged into night. Their rhythm built on each of their pleasure as they slid and pressed into one another.

“Please, I’m ready.” Nyx’s sweet plea urged him forward toward his peak.

With one last push, he found his release. “Yes, now, Kiernan. Come with us.”

Filled with Nyx’s ecstasy and Kiernan’s seed, Reve soared higher than he’d believed possible. As they caught their breath and untangled their limbs, each god collapsed beside Nyx. She and Kiernan fell into the deep sleep which naturally followed the dream state, and he watched, wondering what this encounter had changed. His thoughts centered around one truth. One glorious sexual experience would never be enough to keep him satisfied. The thought followed him into sleep, where he dreamed of his dark haired gods holding out their arms while wide awake, the recurring dream with a new edge, and he moved toward them, embracing each in turn.

  Chapter Five

“How dare you use us like that!” Kiernan stomped through the cave, unable to quash his anger. “You took advantage without our consent. Once I report this to Zeus, you’ll have to pay.” He thrust a finger at Reve’s chest.

His wife knelt on the bed, her eyes widened in shock. “Report him? But—”

“But what? He can’t be allowed to do this kind of thing to us or anyone else. The gods have rules just like the mortals on non-consensual sex. It’s called rape.” Though he spoke to Nyx, his gaze never left Reve.

“I hate to pick nits, but if anyone could say they were raped by what happened last night, it would be yours truly, and I certainly enjoyed it. So I don’t believe I’d use the term referring to sexual assault.” The smirk on Reve’s lips irked him, so why did he wish he could kiss it away, like he had in the night, in the dream which wasn’t a dream.

“You put us into one of your dream states, a trance or whatever you want to call it. We didn’t have a choice.” No matter he’d awoken with Reve’s hand on his cock. Kiernan refused to give him any slack. Everyone needed to realize what they’d done was never going to be repeated. Nyx was his and his alone. They needed no one else.

“I beg to differ. Nothing we did was against your will or Nyx’s.” The god of dreams stroked a finger down the goddess’s arm. “Was it, darling?”

Nyx’s flushed cheeks answered the question, along with her quick intake of breath at Reve’s touch. “It was indescribably wonderful, so even though I may not have wished for it to happen, I have no regrets.”

Reve lowered his mouth to Nyx’s smooth, pale shoulder and nibbled his way up her neck. She dropped her head back against Reve’s shoulder, allowing him free access to what was Kiernan’s. This had to stop, now.

He opened his mouth to say just that, but stopped. A dark need rose within him to watch the other male make love to his wife. Almost without thought, he grasped his shaft. The moment extended when Reve caressed Nyx’s body. The contrast of her long black locks with his short, golden spiked hair made his gut clench. Was that what she needed? Someone different, someone of the light?

The thought blazed in his mind. Unable to push it away, he spun away from them and strode out of the cave.

Behind him, Nyx groaned, but must have dragged herself out of her lust-filled haze because next came, “Don’t go.”

When footsteps padded up behind him, he assumed it was her, but when he glanced over his shoulder it wasn’t Nyx, but Reve who trailed after him.

Maybe her words asking the dream god not to go meant she cared more for the younger god than he thought. Sex-crazed? Perhaps, but she’d always seemed satisfied before. A slight tug on his hair stopped him in his tracks and he whirled back ready to snap at him.

“Don’t go.” Reve no longer had the smirk, but his eyes crinkled at the corners as if he were holding back laughter.

No one would make a fool of him, even a sculpted god of dreams who tempted him to forget everything but diving into bed with him and Nyx. He shook his head. No, he refused to acknowledge that he wanted this golden god who held the promise of dark desires fulfilled.

Reve touched his shoulder. The warmth at the simple gesture spread through his loins. So easy it would be to take his hand and follow him back to bed.

“No. I need to go.” However, he had no place to go, not without Nyx. He’d promised himself he wouldn’t go back to earth without his wife.

“Nyx will miss you, but no more than I will.” Reve slid his hand down Kiernan’s arm, similar to how he’d caressed Nyx.

In amazement, he watched the goose flesh rise on his arms, exactly as Nyx’s had. The guy certainly had a way of touching someone. Kiernan lifted his eyebrows at Reve.

“We were good together. We are good together. Why not let yourself enjoy it?” The eager invitation in Reve’s voice entreated him to let all concerns fall away and just go with the moment.

“The darkness will always be there.” The words were out before he thought about it. No one knew about the struggle he faced every moment except his wife. How could he have let it slip?

Reve cupped his cheek. “You don’t need to face it alone, and if you can enjoy what we have together, perhaps we can help light your darkness.”

Before he could stop it, he leaned into Reve’s touch, nuzzled his cheek into the dream god’s hand. It was a gesture like Nyx might make, and yet so different, strong and sure where his wife was all soft.

“What do you do to us?” He kept his voice low, as to not break the spell. “It’s not your dream haze now. I’m wide awake and conscious.”

“Maybe this is the dream. Would that be so awful?” Reve’s smirk had returned, but instead of irritating him, he found it charming.

“Awful?” He backed away. “No, but there’s always been just Nyx. Her and me, for all the ages. So why would we need anyone else, especially another guy.”

“Do you have any idea how long I’ve wanted this, wanted you?” Reve ran his fingers through the curtain of Kiernan’s hair. “I’m the god of dreams and yet for all this time, I’ve never had my dream come true. That’s what last night was. Perhaps I did force the issue by putting you both in a dream state, but at the time, it seemed you were about to argue with Nyx, and,” he shrugged, “that just wouldn’t have suited my purposes. This was my first opportunity to get you both in bed. If that was wrong, I apologize, but I’d do it over again if I had the chance.” />
The honest openness he glimpsed in Reve’s green eyes struck him as true. “But why would you want to join us, a couple who’ve been together so long?”

The other god lifted a shoulder. “That’s just it. You are a couple, you love one another, and you two are so good together, well until fairly recently I’d guess. Few couples, mortal or immortal that I’ve seen have what you have. When Nyx left you, I knew something was wrong, but the fact that I found you together with her, it told me whatever problems you faced were temporary. Your love is stronger than that. Who wouldn’t want to be part of that kind of relationship?”

Kiernan couldn’t hold back a grin. “Since you put it that way, I guess that’s why I came to Nocterra to find Nyx. We are good together, but there’s been something wrong too. And I’m not sure how to fix it.” The admission hurt. He’d always been able to fix Nyx’s problems. She’d done the same for him over the eons especially through the darkest moments.

“Do you think I could talk to her? Maybe an outsider could offer some insight.”

“You mean like a therapist?” He grimaced. “I’ve never understood the mortals’ need for such a person to tell them what to do in their own lives. If it needs fixing, I’d prefer to do it myself.”

“I’m sure you’ll find a way through it.” Reve stepped away as if he were going to leave.

Where was he going? Cold entered his chest. He wasn’t ready to abandon the dream Reve had presented. What would be the harm in having one more night with another guy in their bed? All indications said Nyx certainly wanted Reve, and much as he thought he’d deny it, Kiernan wanted it too.

“I probably should get back to report to Zeus.” The shadows overtook Reve’s face. “Can I tell him when you and Nyx will be returning to earth? Someone needs to take care of the nighttime events. No one does it like you two.”

“Don’t go.” If someone had told him he was going to say those words to a male, ever, he would have called them crazy. The words came from his soul. Something about this immortal who brought dreams to the mortals and gods affected him like no one had except Nyx.
