“Is she pretty?” Kinsey put her hand across the table as she spoke and Tanner put his hand to hers and held it.
“She’s the perfect vision. I can see my reflection in her light blue eyes. I feel like they are shining out to me when I look into them.”
“That would be due to the beautiful man she’s looking at,” Kinsey interrupted.
Tanner took the compliment without saying anything and continued, “She has long, light brown hair that I want to run my hands through as I make love to her and pull it back, and when I expose her neckline I want to admire the beauty of her soft brown skin and then kiss it, first gently, then with power.”
“So this description involves touch?” Kinsey asked, her head tilted as she looked at Tanner.
“Lots of touch. In fact, it may involve downright seduction. Just you listen, pretty girl,” Tanner said, then continued, “I love the way her eyebrows are thick and intelligent looking. I think I’m a smart guy but I’ll always listen when I see those eyebrows tilt in my direction. I’ve married an incredibly intelligent woman and I plan to listen when she has advice or an opinion. But to go on, she has a beautiful line to the angle of her jaw and her chin cups her deep red lips and perfect smile like a chalice holding a sacramental red wine.”
“You should write that down.”
Tanner laughed and squeezed Kinsey’s hand, “I have. It’s in my new book. I told you I had to change the ending after Jessica found me and led me to you. Those exact words are in it, I promise.”
So when can I read it? I’m dying to read it and you won’t let me.”
I’m close. A few more days and I’ll let you see it.”
“I’m so happy for you, Tanner. You found yourself, your calling. I think you are right when you say God kept us apart. We both had some growing up to do. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I can look across this table and I can admire my new husband and it’s been worth the wait. I love you so much, Tanner.”
Tanner nodded, looked deeply in Kinsey’s eyes and continued with his description of her, “She has long thin arms and the delicate, yet strong, hands of an artist. Her breasts, which I only saw in the dimmest of light, and only for a moment, many years before, are captivating to me. They have the perfect shape without being too big.”
“You don’t like big breasts?”
“I’ve decided that I like breasts that look like the breasts of my true love. If her breasts are small then I like small breasts. If they are large I like large breasts. I like the breasts that God bestowed on my wife in whatever shape they are.”
“Being married to you is going to be so easy,” Kinsey said laughing. “What if I get fat? Will you love my body then?”
“My wife will look incredible to me fat or thin. How she takes care of herself is her decision.”
“I’m a health nut, you don’t have to worry about me getting fat.”
“You are a health nut and that’s great but if you were to ever get hurt and not be able to take care of yourself I would only love you harder and with more passion.”
“Really? Keep talking.”
“I love her long waist line and her high and taut little rear end. I love her long legs and I love the tight muscles of her core. But more than anything I love the whole package as one. My wife is beautiful; she overwhelms me to the point that my heart almost hurts to be near her.”
“Is that all that hurts?” Kinsey asked, a mischievous smile playing across her face.
Tanner laughed and leaned back in his chair, “This has been the hardest six months of my life. Yes, I have more than a little pain in a certain area. It’s a good pain, but truth be told, I’m about to explode.”
Kinsey waved to the waiter as he passed and said, “We’ll take the check. My husband has a big pain.”
The waiter looked from Kinsey to Tanner with an expression of concern, “I’m sorry to hear that. Was it the food?”
“The food was great.” Tanner answered and then looked at Kinsey across the table with an expression of amazement.
“Yes, the food was excellent,” Kinsey said, “This is something that only I can fix. I’m his new bride and he needs me.”
“Kinsey!” Tanner exclaimed.
The waiter smiled, “Ah, I understand. I’ll bring the check quickly,” he stepped from their table, laughing.
Kinsey looked across the table at Tanner, “I aims to keeps my new husband guessing,” she said in an exaggerated southern accent as Tanner shook his head and laughed.
Tanner left the doors to the balcony of their honeymoon suite open so they could listen to the ocean waves rolling to shore as they consummated their marriage. He played Diana Krall softly on the hotel room stereo speakers. Both Tanner and Kinsey loved Diana’s voice, her piano playing and the pure sound and the arrangements of her music. He looked around the room, what else could he do? He saw candles that had been left by the hotel staff and he lit them all and then spread them about the room. Then he turned down the lights and it looked better, much more romantic, he decided.
Kinsey was in the bathroom getting ready to make her entrance and Tanner felt like he was about to jump out of his skin.
He thought back to just a few minutes before. They had been the only two people to step into the elevator from the hotel lobby on their return from the restaurant and halfway up to their room Kinsey hit the stop button bringing the elevator car to a halt half way between floors.
Before Tanner could react, she put her hands to his chest and pushed him against the wall of the elevator and said, almost in a pant, “Please kiss me. Give me a taste of what you’ll do to me tonight. I can’t wait, Tanner.”
Tanner pushed her back across the elevator until she was against the wall and leaned into her. She was wearing a small, dark blue evening dress and high heels. He kissed hard into her as he lifted her and pressed her against the elevator wall. She wrapped her legs around him and she opened her mouth to his exploring tongue. He put his hands under her and made sure to get them under her dress. His hands found her bottom and he discovered her to be not wearing anything but her beautiful natural self under the dress.
He was close to be overwhelmed. They had managed to stay away from one another over the last six months, barely at times, but they had made it. Now, their room and a large bed made up with silk sheets and many pillows was waiting just two floors up from where Kinsey had stopped the elevator, and Tanner didn’t know of he’d make it to the bed.
Kinsey, Tanner was discovering, had a wild side to her and he wanted to let that ride. He put his hand between her legs and she made a soft cry between her impassioned kisses as he did so. She was ready for him, no doubt, and with one hand under her, and while holding her against the wall with his body, he used his other hand to pull down her dress. He dropped his lips to her breast and sucked on her bright red nipple with both a gentleness and a power that made her, again, cry out softly.
He felt her hands beating on his back, then her nails scratching through his shirt. It hurt his scars, the pain was hot and intense, but he didn’t care, her passion for him made it more than worth it. He was hers to do with as she wished.
He held her against the wall and kissed back into her soft wet lips. She began to pull his hair. He pulled hers back as well and when her neck was exposed to him he kissed it, then he gently bit into her. She cried out and said, “Take me upstairs. I can’t wait another second.”
He pushed off of her. It was the hardest thing to do, he wanted to be inside her so bad, but he did as she said and while she stepped away and fixed herself, straightening her dress and pulling back her hair, he reached for the control board and pushed the start button.
As the elevator moved upward into the hotel Kinsey looked across to Tanner and said, “I love you. I wish I could say it better but I can’t – so how about I show you in our room?”
Tanner nodded his head.
“I mean it, Tanner. I love you.” Kinsey stepped across the elevator and kissed Tanner, dee
ply and slowly. Then she said, one more time, as the elevator doors opened, “I love you, Tanner.”
Tanner came back to himself when he heard a noise come from out from behind the closed door to the bathroom. It sounded like Kinsey may have dropped something. Tanner needed her to hurry. He doubted his ability to wait much longer. She had taken what was already a high level of testosterone and love-driven passion that he’d been feeling for her and had amped it up many times with her actions in the elevator. Tanner wanted to love his wife in the most desperate of ways and she was taking way too long getting ready.
He walked to the mirror and looked at himself in his clothes. It was time they came off. All they’d do is get in the way of his loving Kinsey. He disrobed to his underpants and decided to leave them on. They were black in color and tight fitting, coming down to about half way on his thighs. He’d keep some mystery there. He knew he looked good, at least as well as he knew to be, but then he turned and looked at his back in the mirror, to his scars from the fire four years earlier, and while they had faded some, they were still red looking, raised and angry. Kinsey beating and scratching on them in her passion for him, while he didn’t care that she had done so, had brought them to life. They were coming alive as it were and they were hurting him. He hoped she wouldn’t be put off by them. But what could he do, they were a part of him and it was too late to worry now he thought as he heard the door to the bathroom open.
Kinsey had had to step away. She’d almost ripped Tanner’s clothes off on the elevator she wanted him so bad. She wanted him in her. She loved him and she wanted to hold him in the most intimate way that a woman could hold a man. She’d almost made him consummate their marriage in an elevator. She had to get a grip on her passions so she’d told him as he carried her, kissing her over and over, into their hotel room, that she needed a minute to get ready.
She’d stepped into the bathroom and pulled the door closed behind her, but not all the way, it had failed to click but it had closed enough that she knew he couldn’t see her.
She took a deep breath and looked at herself in the mirror. She looked like she’d been in a long night of passion and all she’d done was make out with her new husband on an elevator; she smiled at how she might look in the morning if this was how she looked now. It was okay though, she was married to the man waiting in the bed of their hotel room and he could do anything he wanted to her. She trusted him and she’d make sure he knew it.
She put on the silk teddy that she’d bought for this evening, this evening that she’d never thought would arrive, and looked at herself again in the mirror. She looked incredible, she knew it and she knew Tanner would love her in it as well.
She ran a brush through her hair and washed her face and brushed her teeth. Tanner had opened the champagne and toasted their marriage before she’d stepped into the bathroom and she’d carried a glass of it in with her to drink. She drank it all in one swallow to relax her nerves and to let the alcohol override the scent of the toothpaste. Tanner, when he would have a drink, always tasted so good when she kissed him and she wanted to taste the same for him as well.
She came to the door and peaked out through the small crack of an opening. Tanner was standing in his underwear looking in the mirror. Kinsey felt her knees go weak. He was perfect. He’d grown his hair back out for her when she said she wanted to see him as she’d met him those many years before. He’d lit candles in the room and Kinsey loved how the light danced golden along the sharp angles of his skin. He had no fat on his body and his every muscle glistened in the low light. She felt an urge to paint and she knew that she must make her second masterpiece a painting of him, her new husband. She could see by the bulge in his underwear that he was more than ready for her. She was ready for him as well.
She was preparing to step from the bathroom and dance her way to him to the beat of the music that he had playing softly in the room when he turned his back to the mirror and she saw the scars on his back.
He was frowning at them and it made her heart almost break. Even in the low candlelight she could see that they were red and painful looking and she remembered her beating fists and scratching fingers as she’d attacked him in her passion in the elevator. She felt terrible and she had to step back and think about it.
She would never do that to him again. She’d make his scars better and she’d care for him for the rest of their days. He’d saved the lives of two small children and he’d always wear scars of honor to show for it. She’d make sure he held his head high whenever he took off his shirt.
It made her love him all the more and it made her change her plans. She stepped back from the door and pulled off the strings to her new teddy and let it drop to her feet on the floor. She stepped out from it and looked one last time to the mirror. She looked at herself and said softly, “He wants you as you are. He wants you naked.” She felt an overwhelming need to be made love to by her husband, she needed him inside of her in the best of ways, and she stepped to the door and pushed it open.
With tears welling up in her eyes she stepped quickly across the room and wrapped her arms around Tanner, making sure not to hit his scars.
She kissed into him, feeling him grow even bigger against her and she reached down and pulled down on his underwear, exposing him to her. “I want that. I want … I have to have you inside me.”
Tanner pushed her to the bed and as she laid back on it he pulled his underwear down and off. He was perfect looking, big, but not too big, shaped perfect to please her for all her days and she reached for it and pulled him on top of her.
She knew she was crying but she was desperate for him, and her tears were of joy anyway.
He noticed them and he ran his thumb under one and brought it to his lips. “Are you okay? I can be as gentle as you need me to be,” he said.
She shook her head, “I want you as you – be yourself. I just want you to attack me with your love.” Kinsey sat up and looked at Tanner, “I saw you looking in the mirror. I saw your scars. I hurt you Tanner. I never meant to do that.”
“I’m fine. You didn’t hurt me, you loved me. I’ll never forget it. You’re amazing.”
Kinsey stood from the bed. She looked into Tanner’s eyes, “You promise?”
“I promise.”
“I want you inside me. I want you inside me now.” Kinsey reached her hand out to Tanner and he stood from the bed.
To Kinsey it looked like Tanner was about ready to burst. He lifted her in the air and she wrapped her legs around him and opened herself up to him as he let her slide down on to him.
She came instantly and powerfully, crying “Oh Tanner,” softly, like a small bird, in his ear.
He kissed her as she climaxed and then lifted her high and pumped his hips in a slow circular rhythm against her and she felt herself reaching another orgasm, this one bigger than her first, and she heard herself saying his name over and over.
He dropped her to the bed and pushed her legs back and entered her. She could see the cut of his shoulder muscles rippling under his skin as he held her to the bed, and when he drove himself inside her she exploded, coming so powerfully that she began beating her fists against his chest and crying his name, she loved his name and she loved him and it sounded so good coming from her lips as he ravished her.
She lost track of time and found herself yielding to Tanner as he made love to her – lifting her, rolling her, holding her, pumping himself into her and controlling her with his power and his tenderness. He was gentle to her at the same time that he dominated her and she lost count of how many peaks he brought her to, each one, somehow, more intense and more meaningful than the previous. He looked good in the candlelight, his body so tight and strong and his muscles looking hard, like warm steel, and she felt his sweat, so clean and masculine, rubbing smooth and wet against her own heated skin. She let him make her his wife over and over and she expelled many years of loneliness and sadness out in cries of pure joy as he held her tight and rocked her to greater and
greater orgasms.
Then she found herself going weak, exhausted and happy. Content to simply be held in his arms she found herself sitting on top of him, wrapped tight around him where she came one final time in an explosion of love for him, calling his name one last time. Then she collapsed down on top of his chest, her heart, she was sure, beating through her breast and into his own chest and syncing itself to his heart for the rest of their days together.
“This feels good, you holding me,” she said, running her fingers through his damp hair.
“Then sleep, Kinsey.”
She considered it, but she had one more thing to do, “You just made me your wife,” she said, then added, “many, many times. I love you so much.”
“I love you too,” Tanner ran his hand along the small of her back.
“But you never…?”
“I held back for you. I’ll always do that.”
“But aren’t you ready? How can you just lie here all pent up like that?”
“I don’t know. When I put my mind and heart to the task of making you feel how much I love you, I feel like I can hold it forever,” Tanner said, then he added, “It’s like if I think about it I’ll explode but if I concentrate on you alone I can last as long as you need me too. There’s nothing I’d rather do than make love to you.”
“Can I make you my husband now? Let me bring you inside of me one more time – just for you,” Kinsey said, sliding off Tanner and on to the bed next to him. “How would you like me?” she asked.
Tanner whispered in her ear and Kinsey nodded and made herself ready to receive him.
Unable to see his gorgeous face, she listened to him, his deep breathing, as he brought himself deeper and deeper into her, and, with each passionate thrust of his hips, she became surprised that she would meet him once more with her own orgasm and when she heard him cry out her name she felt his own name coming off her lips as well and she convulsed in unison with his quaking thrusts and then she fell forward to the bed with him still deep inside her, his arms gently on her back, as he made sure to keep his weight from hurting her as he collapsed on top of her.
