“Can I come in?” she asked.
“Of course,” Aiden said as he came to his feet.
Noah stood as well. Alana appeared nervous, so both he and Noah kept their distance—at least for now.
“I saw your truck outside and was hoping you were here too,” she said as she came inside and shut the door.
“Really?” Noah replied. “I hope this is good news and not bad.”
“Well,” she said as she clasped her hands in front of her and twirled her fingers nervously. Her eyes shone with uncertainty that made Aiden want to run to her and reassure her. “I guess that depends on how you look at it.”
Aiden walked around the desk and leaned his hip against the edge, close to where Noah stood. He wanted nothing more than to grab her, rip her clothes off, and kiss every inch of her flesh. It was at that moment he realized just what an advantage they had with their connection.
He could feel her desire as well, but he could also feel her tiny bit of uncertainty. She was still nervous, still scared. And truthfully, he didn’t blame her. If he hadn’t been dealing with this connection for as long as he had, it would probably make him a little uncomfortable as well.
Noah took a step forward and Aiden remained where he was, watching. If both of them made a move toward her at once, she would probably run. She did just what Aiden expected her to—react with trepidation, at least at first.
Her eyes widened, and she took a small step back before stopping. She kept her gaze on Noah’s as he tilted up her chin with his finger.
“I see you wanting to give the three of us a try as good news,” Noah said.
“And how did you know that’s what I was here for?” she asked, then twisted her lips. “Wait. Stupid question.”
Aiden chuckled.
“What brought about the change of heart?” Aiden asked.
She glanced over at him and shrugged sheepishly. “Tray chewed me out.”
Noah laughed and wrapped her in his arms. Alana slid her arms around Noah’s waist and returned his embrace. Aiden could feel her touch on his own back as well as his brother’s arousal. Wow, this thing was definitely stronger.
Suddenly, as though remembering something, she pushed away from Noah and put some distance by moving a few feet to the other side of the room. “I want to take things a little slow, though, okay.”
“Slow how?” Aiden asked. “If you mean sexually, you should know I already had plans to fuck you here.”
“Well…I mean…” Alana stammered, making Aiden grin. “I meant more along the lines of you know, going on some dates—some real dates—and getting to know one another better.”
“Oh, but the sex is still okay, right?” Noah asked, teasing her.
Her cheeks turned a dark shade of red. “Well…maybe we should take that a little slow—”
Noah grasped her hand and tugged her to him. He quickly covered her mouth with his, stopping whatever she was about to say. Her arms lifted to wrap around his neck, and Aiden smiled, shifting to adjust his hardening cock within his pants.
“Maybe the sex is okay,” she sighed against Noah’s lips.
Aiden’s smile widened. Everything felt right for the first time in a long while. She was back where she belonged. If she wanted slow, they could do slow, but in the end, she would be theirs…forever.
