He kneaded my ass and the column of his cock pressed into the left side of my groin. God, he had a spectacular cock. I hadn’t gotten a good look at it and really wanted to inspect it but my head was spinning. He kissed me hungrily one last time and pulled away, nipping my lower lip as he did. His stormy blue gaze bore into me and we both panted, breathless.

“Do you like me now?” he rumbled.

“No, not really but I’d love to be fucked by you.” I smirked and he jerked back, fuming.

“What? How? Are you fucking kidding me?” Robbie raged and I twitted him more.

“Angry sex is one of the best kind,” I crooned and he grabbed a fistful of his hair and shouted.

“You. Are. Impossible!” Then stomped down the rest of the hall and out of the bakery. I leaned back against the wall and banged my head on the wall. The dull thuds echoed and I covered my face with my hands. Damn this was nuts. The door creaked opened and Ria strode past me, smiling. “Nice boner there, Boone.” The door swung closed behind me.

I looked down and sure enough, I was tenting my shorts.

  Aw fuckery!

  Chapter 5

  Robbie

I must be going mad. Why am I letting that wooly bottom boy get under my skin? I hadn’t kissed a man with a beard before, except my dad and it definitely wasn’t the same kind of kissing. Granted, one had to find his lips under all that beard hair but it was kind of sexy. Boone was so… hairy. Ironically, from what I could remember, he didn’t have any on his chest. Seems like all his hair was on his chin. My phone squeaked and I nearly jumped out of my skin. Since sharing that kiss with Boone Myer I couldn’t get him out of my mind. And damn those perfectly kissable lips of his.

Work had been busy and I was counting down the final days until the D’Argento Wedding. Two days to go until the big day and I hoped all the details were set and they were, unless you talked to Brittany D’Argento. Every day she called and bemoaned or wailed about some minor detail she perceived as earth shattering. If she didn’t call, I was nervous. I felt like a deer during hunting season and I wasn’t the only one swamped with work. Spin hadn’t looked up from his computer all morning save to make calls. The museum opening had turned out to be a major headache because the curator was bat-shit crazy. Spin’s words, not mine.

If I survived this wedding, I’d be coming away with more than a few gray hairs. And if that wasn’t bad enough, Lily sniffed around, trying to pry information out of me. It’d nearly killed her when I pulled off Autumn House and she snooped in everything to get the skinny on my contacts. I guarded my laptop like a bulldog. Not that she could hack it. My security code is twenty-six characters long and there was no way she would figure it out. I tapped in the code and flipped through my e-mails.

Hmmm… only three from Brittany? Let’s get that settled.

One hour later, I had called, cajoled and coddled my way through Brittany’s issues when I noticed an email from Oscar. I opened it and braced myself for more bad news, but there wasn’t any. Dad was gaining weight and Oscar said they were arguing less, so all was good on the home front. The last message in my inbox was from 350 Degrees. I grinned as I opened it.

If you are trying to stalk me, this is going a bit far don’t you think, golden boy?

  Boone

  I fired back my reply.

I don’t know what you mean. Hey, text me instead. 404-555-8465.

And that’s how I managed to give him my phone number.

His response came moments later as my phone lit up with an unknown number. I opened the text.

You’re the event planner for the D’Argento wedding now? Seems kinda fishy. I do believe you are trying to spend more time with me.

I took over for a colleague who went out on maternity leave and would that be so bad? Spending time with me, I mean.

I was poking around fully aware I was fishing for information. I hit send and waited. His text came seconds later.

No. I figured you couldn’t resist my luscious butt. So go ahead.

  Go ahead what?

He did have a fine ass. I fired a text back, wanting an explanation.

Ask me out. You know you want to.

Damn, even his texts sounded smug.

I thought you didn’t like me and I haven’t even seen your ass.

Balls in your court fuzzy face.

  Meh, you’re growing on me.

I could picture him with that shit-eating grin on his face and I found myself smiling. He was an incorrigible flirt.

Full of yourself much? Fine. Will you have drinks with me at the reception?

Sure. Bring your A game, golden-rod.

I will and BTW, my rod is golden.

What in the hell crawled up my ass? Why would I write that much less send that message?

My, my Mr. Gaither. You’re a nasty man.

I laughed out loud and the next text flashed onto my phones screen and my laughter stuck in my throat. The image took my breath away and my dick twitched. It was Boone’s ass clad in an electric blue jockstrap. The straps cut under his cheeks and outlined the supple flesh. Not a lot of guys looked good in jockstraps. Boone Myer was the exception. He filled it out in all the right places. The blue straps contrasted sharply against his pale flesh and for some reason I thought his butt would be furry. Instead, his ass was softly rounded, firm, smooth, free of blemishes and filled the screen edge to edge. I pictured sliding my cock up the crease and all my remaining blood flowed south.

Saliva pooled in my mouth and I gulped it back, only to cough as it went down the wrong way. I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand and examined the picture intently. I love ass and make no excuses about it and Boone’s looked so tasty, so inviting all I could think about was burying my face in it. I shifted and my cock pressed down my left pants leg uncomfortably.

What? At a loss for words?

  He was testing me.

I took a deep breath and a leap of faith. I flicked through my pictures on my phone and found one that I kept private—very private. I attached it to my text, tapped send and waited. My stomach quivered nervously.

Holy shit! Is that your cock? It’s… it’s huge and… well fuck. It’s beautiful.

My face grew hot. Of course I have a dick pic. All gay guys have a dick pic on their phone. I think I’ve only sent it out maybe five times over the last year to guys I’d hooked up with. It was a good pic. I’d been rock hard when I’d taken it and had snapped the picture from the side via the mirror in my bedroom. Not bragging but I was a solid cut eight inches with a head proportional to the shaft and a pair of smooth low hangers.

Well maybe I am bragging a bit.

At least I know I was right.

  He flashed me another text.

  About what?

I knew I was stroking a big one at Inferno but dayum!

I figured you showed me yours… I’d show you mine.

My breathing roughened and I squirmed in my chair.

  So… see you Saturday?

  Oh hell yes. And Robbie?

  Yes?

  I’ll be wearing the jock.

I swear if I touched my cock right now, I’d come!

  ‘Bye cutie.

  ‘Bye, Boone.

He sent me an emoticon of a face with the tongue hanging out and I snickered. I can’t explain why Boone drew me so. He wasn’t my type. He wasn’t in my life plan at the moment but I needed to see this man again. Needed to kiss him, touch him and find out what it was about him that made me so crazy.

“Why is your face so red?”

My phone flew into the air and I scrambled to catch it before it hit the floor. I barely nabbed it and looked over at the door to my office to find Spin staring at me with a quizzical expression.

  “I-I was just-I—”

“Oh man! You were sexting!” Spin crowed and clapped his hands.

  “No I wasn’t!”

“Your face is red, you’re sweating and I bet if I ask you to stand up you won’t.” He waggled
his finger at me.

  “Hardly.” I huffed defensively.

“Fine.” Spin folded his arms over his chest. “Prove it. Stand up.”

“No.” I tucked in tighter to my desk.

“Dude, never play poker. You suck at lying.” Spin guffawed and walked over to his desk and sat down. He flipped open his laptop and paused mid-tap. “Hey, is your sext partner that hairy dude from Inferno?”

I froze. “Why do you ask?”

“I dunno.” He shrugged. “I saw you two talking at the bar and Evan said you two were sucking some major face.”

“That gossipy bitch!” I hissed and Spin chuckled.

“Easy, dude. From what I saw you seemed into the guy when you were at the bar.” Spin scratched his chin thoughtfully. “Not your usual type but hey, if he floats your boat go for it.”

“The guys think he’s a skank.” I flinched at my own words.

Spin rolled his eyes and frowned at me. “Seriously, Robbie? You’re actually listening to those drama queens? I mean, I know they’re your friends but Peter has a different guy in his bed every weekend and Evan is so fucking bitchy. I’m amazed Flip tolerates him.”

  “Hey! Stop bashing my friends.”

“Just my opinion,” He said then added. “If you like the guy, pursue him. But don’t let those snobby queens influence your decision.”

“He’s not in my life plan,” I said dismissively went back to work.

“Aw jeez. Not that life board again.” Spin snorted.

“I don’t have a life board. I have my goals and I want to accomplish them by the time I’m thirty.”

Spin’s face softened and he lowered his voice. “Robbie, I know Tim hurt you but not all guys are like that.”

Part of me wanted to tear his head off for even mentioning Tim, but he was right. Sighing, I nodded. “I know.”

“I’m not trying to be a fucker about it but do you see yourself alone at thirty or with someone?” He waited for a response and when I didn’t speak, Spin went back to work, leaving me to stew.

Saturday arrived and had descended into chaos. Albeit controlled chaos, but chaos none the less. Brittany D’Argento’s wedding was in four hours and I was up to my nose in issues. No matter how hard I’d planned for every eventuality, things kept cropping up. Damn if my ass wasn’t sweating as I ran from one side of St. Christopher’s to the other. I had called Jessica with a myriad of questions, which she patiently answered then laughed at.

“You knew this would happen!” I scolded her and it only made her laugh louder.

“I can’t say I’m that upset I had the baby when I did,” she agreed. “I only took on the wedding as a favor to Emilio D’Argento. He’s a friend of my father’s and a great guy. His wife and daughter however are another matter.” She snickered again. “Good luck, Robbie.”

And damn her if she didn’t hang up on me. I was about to call her back when one of the bridesmaids came running at me in a scrabble of fuchsia heels.

“Robbie! Thank god!” What was her name? Renee, Julie, Jillie… shit there were ten of them and they were all blonde.

  Tiffany!

“What now, Tiffany?” I asked as politely as I could. She looked back over her shoulder then to me, fear in her eyes.

“The flowers are the wrong color!”

“How is that possible? They should be the perfect shades of purple and pink!” I rubbed my temples as a headache began to worm its way into my skull.

“She said there’s too much white in the bouquet!” Tiffany wrung her hands and I felt as sorry for her as I did for me. Brittany had been a total bridezilla to her bridesmaids and had treated them like total shit. I heard them talking amongst themselves and let’s just say, after her wedding, Brittany was going to be shy several friends. It’s one thing to be a diva. It’s another to treat your friends like servants.

“Tiffany, can you bring me the bouquet?” I asked through gritted teeth. She nodded vigorously and I pushed her gently. “Now!”

She stumbled back and took off at a run. I hated being so hard with her but now was not the time for dilly-dallying. I grabbed my duffle bag and met up with Tiffany as she hurriedly brought me the offending flowers. The poor girl’s hands shook as she handed them to me. I searched my bag and found the pink blush I was looking for. Normally used on faces, I opened it up, grabbed a make-up brush and liberally loaded it up with bubblegum pink blush. I chose four of the white flowers and fanned the blush onto them aggressively. The whites faded to a pink-tinged blossom as I rouged them. In seconds, the white was changed to a pink. I retrieved some Aquanet hair spray from my bag and spritzed the newly pink flowers, setting the color.

“Here.” I handed them back to Tiffany. “See if this works for her highness.”

“If it doesn’t, I’m gonna shove them up her ever expandin’ ass!” Tiffany snarled and then we both burst out laughing. This day was definitely going to put some grays on my head. I just knew it.

“I present to you Conner and Brittany Stark.” The announcer proclaimed and I sighed in relief as half of my day was done. The ceremony had gone off without a hitch despite Brittany finding reasons to the contrary. Now the reception was in full swing and the home stretch gleamed in front of me. I was so close. I let go the breath I was holding and headed back to the kitchen for one last task.

I smoothed out my tux as my hand touched the door and fluffed my hair. I couldn’t believe I was primping before seeing Boone. Yet I was. I was more into this guy than I let myself believe. Pushing open the door, I entered the kitchen and walked into mayhem. Feeding all five hundred guests was a monumental task and the staff were working at two hundred percent to make the food perfect for the evening. I wove my way through the throngs of people to the back and scanned the crowd. There! Boone was tucked into a corner with his assistant fussing over the cake.

Good God, it was a confectionary nightmare but a stunning confectionary nightmare. Boone was hunched over, piping bag in hand probably touching up a last minute detail. He wore tight dark jeans, boots, an apron and a white shirt. Smudges of white and pink were on his jeans and, oddly, on his ass. The urge to lick it off almost overwhelmed me… almost.

“Everything okay in here?” I asked and Boone swiveled and smiled at me. The toothy grin made my heart skip a beat and made me want to kiss him.

“Hey, sweet cheeks. Yup, all set. The waiting staff is comin’ to take it out.” He straightened and cracked his back loudly. “All set Ria?”

“Yeppers,” His assistant Ria gave him the thumbs up. “The pink and purple apocalypse is done!”

Boone belly laugh was infectious and I joined in. He grinned at me, set down the bag and smoothed his hands over his apron. He sauntered over to me, all swagger and sexy confidence.

“Lookin’ good there, golden-rod.” He murmured as he invaded my personal space. My chest puffed up and my face flamed red at the same time. His long finger traced the line on my lapel. “Coming to check up on me?”

“Over confident much?” I snarked back. “I came to make sure the cake was ready.”

“Really?” He leaned in and I could smell the cinnamon on his breath. “So you weren’t starin’ at my ass?”

“I did both,” I answered smoothly. “I’m the king of multi-tasking” My voice was rough and I licked my suddenly dry lips.

“I do like a man who can do multiple things at once.” Boone purred and damn if my cock didn’t swell.

“Oh get a room you two!” We jerked apart at the sound of Ria’s voice. We turned to her and she shook her head. “I swear, you two spend too much time flirtin’ and not enough time screwin’.”

Boone laughed so hard, he doubled over. Me? I was mortified.

“You free for a bit?” Boone asked and I nodded. Grabbing my hand, he pulled me down a hall to and into a small office. Since when am I the one who gets led around? Yet here I am, following behind him like an obedient puppy. Boone poked his head around the
first room he came to and dragged me into it. I stumbled as he half-shoved me into the room. The click of the lock sounded loud in the silence.

“That’s better. All alone.” He leaned against the door, a wicked smile on his face. “You’re a lot of talk, Gaither. Not very commandin’ for a top man.”

Damn he did irk the shit out of me and his constant teasing kept me off balance but no longer.

You want top man fuzz face? You got him.

A growl erupted from my throat and Boone’s gaze widened. I surged forward and grabbed his arms, pinning them above his head. He opened his mouth to speak and I silenced him with my tongue. The kiss was dirty, wet and frenzied as I ravaged his mouth. Sucking, tasting, exploring his warmth, I didn’t let up and Boone sagged in my grip. I inhaled the whimper from his throat and it tasted so sweet. Boone ground his crotch to mine and I molded my body to his.

  “Robbie—”

“Shut. The. Hell. Up.” I ground out around his soft mouth. Boone whined and I kissed him again, licking his lower lip as I pulled back. Letting his arms go, I spun him around, pressing him against the door. “You want top man. You got it.”

I reached around and undid the buttons to his jeans. Roughly pushing them down his thighs I felt the smooth flesh of his ass under my palms. I glided my hands over his skin and found the elastic to his electric blue jockstrap.

  Just like he promised!

Pulling back hard, I let the strap go with a nice resounding snap as it hit his ass cheek.

“Nice,” I snarled into his ear, nipping the outer pinnae. “Blue suits you.”

Boone panted and squirmed against me.

  No, no , no… I’m in charge.

I slapped his ass hard, jarring him. He cried out and arched his back, pressing his ass against me. “Hands on the wall!”

His palms slapped the door and I bit the back of his neck, sucking hard. I pulled away and grinned as the purple hickey blossomed. “Do. Not. Move.”

My voice was hard as steel and he flinched, nodding jerkily. Reaching down I yanked his shirt up and over his head, revealing a smoothly muscled back. My mouth watered and my cock, now rock hard, ached. I flattened my tongue and drew a long line from the base of his neck down his spine. Boone moaned and quivered as my spit left a cooling trail down his flesh. His skin’s salty flavor inflamed my senses and my pulse shot through the roof. He squirmed and then yelped at the sharp slap to his buttocks.
