She handed her bouquet to Andrea before giving a hand each to Jordan and me.
“Moonstone pack,” Lewis started. “This summer has been a deep blessing. Not only has one family been made with our own mating ceremony, but another family home is created with these three.”
“We bless this union between my little sister—” Emily shot Alex a look, “—and Max and Jordan. There is no other pair more worthy of Emily’s hand than these two.”
“Are there any words of protest?” Lewis asked.
I wouldn’t have cared if there were. I would have fought anyone who wanted to separate us from this moment. Thankfully, no voices were made known, so I didn’t have to.
Emily turned to face the pack while Jordan and I stepped forward. Andrea and Sandra began weaving our hands together, creating the beautiful love knots between us.
“With these knots, I bind you, Jordan, Emily, and Max,” Alex said.
We held up our hands as the pack clapped. My face was hurting from smiling so much.
“I declare you, united,” Lewis finished.
Emily turned to kiss me before kissing Jordan. With our free hands, Jordan and I did our best to shake hands. We had done it. We found our mate. We were mated.
“Just wait until you see what we have planned,” I said quietly to Emily.
“We’ve got it all planned out,” Jordan said.
“Oh no,” she said, smiling. “What?”
“We’re going to San Francisco for our Moon night,” Jordan and I said together, laughing at the look of horror on her face.
“We’re going what?”
“Don’t worry,” Jordan said. “Wine tours and walks on the beach. No clubbing, we promise.”
Her face softened. “You jerks.”
“Maybe,” I said. “But we’re your jerks now.”
