Kissing Vicious Page 20

by Brooklyn Ann

It seems like you care more about the job than me, he’d said.

Fighting past the lump in her throat, Kinley whispered, “I love you too, Quinn, and yes, I’ll come back to you. As for the marriage proposal, would you accept a maybe?”

Quinn rose from his knees to cup her face in his hands. One slid back to plunge into her hair. The other lightly caressed her cheek. “Oh Kinley.”

His lips came down on hers, ravaging her mouth like a man long starved. Kinley clung to him with equal ferocity.

When at last they broke away, his eyes took on a naughty gleam. “You know, you’ve never once sat on my lap.”

She snickered, but her cheeks heated as she gazed at the muscular thighs encased in black leather. “You know why. I didn’t want to be mistaken for a—”

He bent down and licked her earlobe, silencing her. “It can be fun if you let me show you how.” He seized her hands and pulled her toward him as he sat back down.

Needing no further encouragement, Kinley lifted her skirt and straddled him on the chair, moaning in desire as she felt his hardness pressing against her throbbing core. His hands clamped down on her hips, grinding her harder against his erection. A gasp tore from her throat. Slowly, his fingers slid up her dress to stroke her through the thin wet fabric of her panties.

Desperate with need, she wrestled with the button of his pants, writhing under the sweet torture of his erotic caress. Somehow he managed to help her and continue working his magic. He nibbled her neck, making her shiver.

She gripped the head of his cock, thumb sliding across the bead of moisture seeping from its tip. “God, Quinn, I need you inside of me now.”

Sliding her panties to the side, he filled her in one slow, deep thrust.

She came almost immediately, the orgasm ripping through her body like an explosion. Quinn growled low and gripped her hips, moving her up and down so hard and fast, she had to cling to his shoulders for support. Another moan tore from her throat as he reached her G-spot.

Pleasure pooled low in her body in a warm wave, intensifying in little electric pulses that grew with each thrust. The pulses built and overlapped until the shock waves of another climax ricocheted through her being. Quinn’s cock jolted inside her with his own orgasm.

His arms gathered her close, pressing her against his chest as they rode the aftershocks. Panting with sated exhaustion, she rested her head against his chest, listening to his pounding heart. When the wave of euphoria had dissipated enough for her to speak, Kinley raised her head from his chest.

“How did you convince Kat to let you in?” She blinked up at him and murmered, “She’s normally a loyal friend.”

Quinn chuckled at her teasing sternness. “I offered to hook her up with an audition with Bleeding Vengeance.”

Now it was her turn to laugh. “Yeah, that would do it. But you know, if she lands the job, that messes things up more for me. We were supposed to start another band.”

“How are you going to find time for that?” Quinn flashed a smug smile. “You’re going to be too busy helping us record a new album. At the least, we need studio musicians. At the most, Curt was talking about how well we’d sound with an extra guitarist. Some bands have been doing that, and we like the effect. He doesn’t want you going to another band and becoming competition, and neither do I.”

Warmth flowed all the way to her toes. “Oh my God, you really meant it? You want me to work in the studio?”

He nodded. “It was my intention all long. And if I hadn’t been such an ass, I would have said so in the first place.”

She sighed. “Yeah, I’ll bet that cost us some time.”

“Well, let’s start making it up, shall we?” Quinn said, lowering his mouth to hers once more.
