The Duke's Dilemma: Regency Romance Menage Short Stories Page 73

by Lacoste, G. G.

He just tilted his head down towards the old hard wood floor, listening to all of his wife’s endless chatter. He knew deep down that she tended to be dramatic about things and when it were about her girls there seemed to be no limits to her insanity.

Emma just rolled her eyes at what she was hearing. All that she could think was, that woman has lost her ever-loving mind! She tugged at her loose fitting collar, feeling strangled by her clothing. She tried repeatedly to clear her throat, but nothing seemed to be working.

All she knew was she had to get out of that place. She could not hear any more about it. It was just more than she could emotionally handle at that moment. So she quietly tip toed out of the back door and she went for a long walk.

That time of year the landscape was so heavily wooded down throughout the pastureland behind her family home. With every step she took, she felt like she could breathe again. When she had gotten all the way back to a clearing, she laid down amidst the wild flowers and stared, inadvertently, up at the sun.

She wondered if she was even ready for such a big life decision. In truth, she couldn’t see herself being with another person. It wasn’t something that she had thought about before. It felt very sudden to her.

She just hoped that she would have enough time to come to terms with becoming of age and most likely getting married soon before it was to late. The more discussion that surrounded the event, the more complicated it seemed to be getting to be. She didn’t feel mature or ready yet, but then again, maybe nobody did either.

But if she didn’t try then she would never know how she handled it or herself and that just wouldn’t do in her mind. So, she made up her mind to do her very best to calm down and to think rationally about things instead of jumping to a wide assortment of conclusions that were very untrue.

She found peace in knowing that her parents had been happily married for so many years. It gave her hope that maybe someday she would look back and remember how silly she was being when everything turned out exactly as it needed to be. That was what she hoped for anyway.

When she looked into her father’s eyes she saw compassion for others and that was a quality that she hoped for in a mate. He was patient and quiet and never forced his opinion over on anyone. Emma saw herself as being a mirror image of her father. That was what she wanted to see in herself.

Then there was her mother and she was the exact opposite of everything that her father was. Mila was loud, opinionated, butted in where she didn’t belong and she gave tough love whenever she saw fit. When she loved, she loved big. Nothing was too great to ask of her. She saw taking care of her family as her calling in life and neither man nor beast could keep her from it.

But when Emma looked at her mother, she knew that she loved her unconditionally but didn’t see herself in her. Not even a little bit. But it could have been that she saw what she wanted to see and nothing more. Emma did actually have a few similarities with her doting mother but that was something that she would never admit to anyway.

And then there was her sister to think about. Her sister seemed more like her mother than anyone else, at least in personality. The body types were absolutely nothing alike. She had bossed Emma around since they were tiny tots and she hated that about her.

It was as if she had two psychotic omniscient mothers instead of one all the way through her childhood. She wished that it had not been that way all the time. She wanted them to be so very close, but that just was not their relationship. They were sisters but neither one of them enjoyed spending time together. It just was what it was but she would never tell her sister how she felt deep down because it would hurt her feelings terribly bad.

Chapter II -- A Universally Shared Feeling Between Them

Finally, a few days later the girls got their invites and the party was only a short time away. Mila got started on their dresses straight away. Emma’s dress would be light blue and loose fitting with shiny ribbon bows over each arm. She would look like a delicate princess, or so her mother hoped.

It would be impolite to have to have a form fitted type of a dress that showed her feminine form. That just wasn’t allowed, at least not for the nice girls. Her sister, Chloe, was getting nervous but in a good way. She was a few years older and more willing to take on the bigger responsibilities that her future seemed to hold. But she also understood that that wasn’t a universally shared feeling after all. It was a new way of thinking for her.

And after spending countless hours on her labor of loves for her girls, Mila brought out both dresses for the girls to try on. First, Chloe came out from the back bedroom. Her dress was as yellow as the sun and it suited her complexion quite well. Her mother slowly and carefully looked her up and back down again before saying,

“My dear Chloe… You look absolutely divine my darling…. How does it feel? Does it feel comfortable? Can you move around in it?”

Mila couldn’t help but to tug and poke and stretch on the fabric, which made Chloe feel somewhat uncomfortable. In haste, she said,

“Mother! Would you stop already? You are being ridiculous… Stop it….”

She scurried back and pushed Emma out of the door saying,

“Oh, yeah baby! You’re going out there… It is your turn to suffer….”

So, she mustered and harnessed all of the sarcasm and contempt she could and swallowed it down before making her way to the living area. Her dress was a calm peaceful blue and it suited her just as well as Chloe’s did. And after looking her over as well she said,

“Oh, my lovely Emma… Look at you all grown up…. In that big girls body… I am so very proud of you girls…” and she pinched her cute pink cheeks.

Just that quickly, their father walked in and said,

“Well, I think you girls need to be getting on your way before the sun sets and you can’t see where you are going. Take the mare. He’s tied up outside. Don’t worry, I saddled him up for you already.”

The ladies ran to him and hugged his neck so tight. They would have happily walked to the ball without a word being said, but to be offered such a generous gift was truly a blessing for them both. It also meant that John trusted them implicitly and that, in and of itself, meant the world to them. They were daddy’s little girls through and through.

They went to the party on horseback, riding with one in front of the other. It didn’t take long, by horse, to get where they were going. They entered the party looking as lovely as could be. The room was filled with eager prospects everywhere they turned it seemed. In truth, it was a little overwhelming for them both.

The girls made their way through the crowd, not really chatting with anyone in particular at that point. They stood in waiting as the dancing began. So many men asked pretty young ladies to dance, but they had not been asked quite yet or spoken to for that matter either. The night was young and they would need to be patient and wait for the shy young men to gain their confidence.

A couple of well - endowed ladies were amongst the first to be asked, not very surprising. Their bosoms were out in front and center and it was no wonder why they had caught the attention of several men. Their blouses were extremely snug, showing every little thing. The sisters looked over at each other and just rolled their eyes as if to say, “Pfffft, whatever.”

A tall thin young man had been standing beside Emma for quite some time but he had never even said not one word directly to her. She assumed that he wasn’t interested in her at all and most likely had eyes for someone else. That was usually the case anyway.

But then he turned to her after several songs and said,

“My lady would you like to go outside for a walk?” he extended his hand out for her to grasp and she did just that with ease.

He had taken her by surprise in asking such a forward question and she was not prepared to answer so quickly which was why she didn’t deny him of what he wanted the most. Alec was a tall long and lean young man with black hair. He was easy on her eyes and she was enjoying his company greatl
y as they walked for a bit. The room had grown too stuffy for them both.

They walked outside where the sky was dark but the stars were bright up so high in the sky. They walked down by the riverbanks where they could hear the grasshoppers making that twitchy sound that they make. Not really chatting, just being present in the pleasant moment together. Apparently, they were both people that needed few words to feel comfortable.

The waves were rolling in to the bank ever so lightly and they sounded wonderful. Finally, some awkwardly uncomfortable words were uttered right out loud,

“Hi……… My name is Alec… It is quite lovely to meet you… I don’t believe that we have met before tonight but it is exquisite to make your acquaintance,” his face was as bright of a shade of red as it could be.

“Hello there… I’m Emma… It is nice to meet you as well… I’m guessing that you are not from around here……… Are you?”

“No…. No I’m not… This is actually my first trip to this township…” he said.

“So… what brought you here then?” she inquired.

He blushed again at her forwardness. He had not met such a brazen female other than his mother. He found it surprising but refreshing nonetheless. He stuttered as he tried to answer her questions. Suddenly, his mouth had become terribly dry and void of any moisture.

“Well, I was invited to come here and go quail hunting with my cousin. He wrote in a letter that the birds were taking over and doing so much damage that he needed help controlling the population,” he said.

“Well, aren’t you just the great and honorable one…” she weighed in so sarcastically.

“If you didn’t want to know then why did you ask me my lady? Had I already said too much” he inquired.

“Geeezzzz… Calm down…. I am just giving you a hard time, that’s all….” she added on.

“Oh, okay… I missed that,” he said as he continued to be embarrassed by her.

They could hear the music coming from inside of the manor. So, Alec asked Emma to dance and she agreed to do so. He held his right hand up high and allowed her soft delicate hand to rest inside of his.

Then he turned the other hand up and placed it on the back of her shoulder gently. He had been taught proper form and etiquette from childhood and he lived by those rules somewhat strictly. His mother raised him to think of ladies as special treats to be adored and he did just that. His mother who was quiet, and shy, and never really complained about anything that he could recall.

Never had he treated a woman by anything less than like she was his queen. His father was the best example that could have been afforded to him. He was nothing if he wasn’t well mannered. He was very close with his parents as they had a very loving relationship.

It was his mother that nurtured and guided him through his upbringing though. She was as lovely on the inside as she was on the outside. She was also a wonderful example of how a woman should treat a man with respect and honor but with love. That and she could put his father in his place from time to time when she felt that it was necessary. He took after his father in that way, strong willed, and wordy but a heart made of pure gold it seemed.

It surprised her when he guided her back to an old oak tree that was behind her. He was forceful, but sensually so and she liked it ever so much. He leaned in and she did as well as they kissed. She was far too lovely to stay away from.

He couldn’t help himself but to take advantage of their time together. Her heart was beating so fast and so very hard that she could hear a ringing inside of her ears. Her blood was pulsing through her veins as they continued to kiss so passionately and lovingly so.

His frisky palms found their way to her perky young breasts. They devoured them whole with one fell swoop, caressing them and rubbing them. Her big brown nipples were thimble hard as he twisted them between his horny little fingers. She loved every second of it. His touch seemed to agree with her body just then. It felt good.

Her hands stood stagnant at his thin fit waist but his moved down the sides of her meaty ribs on down to her thick waist. Then they kept going even further down around her juicy well – fed thighs. He couldn’t help himself, but to touch her body repeatedly. He abruptly reached down and grabbed two handfuls of her soft cotton fabric dress and pulled it upward.

He thrust his hips forward, pressing himself into her as his lustful hands found their way around to her ass. He spread her plump cheeks apart and bounced them playfully up and down over and over and over again. He was most certainly at his leisure with her fluffy lacy bloomers in his dirty little hands.

Just then he did something that he never had envisioned himself doing in his whole life. He reached down and unzipped his fly and slid his prick through the small opening with great ease. But then he slid her bloomers to one side and dragged his fingers down the length of her purple floppy lips.

Her head tilted very far back seemingly in agreement with his masculine touch. His hairy fingers scratched down her soft alabaster chest leaving long red marks in their wake. She lifted her leg up high and wrapped her leg around his strong muscular thigh tightly.

Her throbbing wet cunt begged for his presence, but he had not given in to his manly desires quite yet. But his strong hand grasped her thigh and thrust himself inside of her just then. It wasn’t his length but his girth that surprised her so very much.

He only put his head in at first. He didn’t want to hurt her. He knew that it was her first time and she was most likely feeling uncomfortable. He could feel how tight her tight pussy wrapped around his hard cock as he moved in and out of her feminine darkness. Her face grimaced as her ass tightened. He continued to please himself, getting lost in the moment of greatness. She was quite beautiful and he knew it.

It only took moments for his shoulders to tighten in anticipation of his moment. He clenched onto her meaty thighs as he pumped wave after wave of his hot sticky cum inside of her ribbed insides. His body jerked as he climaxed so hard.

Their exhausted bodies held each other up, just trying to take long slow breaths between them. It had been a wonderful experience for them both and it had ended all too quickly for both of their liking. They just wanted to do it over and over again, all day every day.

They ended up spending a good deal of time together over the next few days but his trip was coming to a close. He would be leaving to travel back home sooner rather than later and he knew his time there was drawing to a close. But he had absolutely no idea that it was when he got word that his father had fallen ill. In shear worry, he took off in the early morning hours without ever saying a thing to Emma.

She had no idea what had happened. She was left assuming the worst and that was that she had not left a lasting impression on him during their time together. Her heart was broken and she felt that she had learned a lesson that had hardened her in some ways.

She never even asked his cousin about the truth. Because if she had she would have known that his father didn’t live much longer after that. And he was obligated to take good care of his sweet mother and his younger siblings. It was in that moment that he was no longer a boy but he had become a young man, with all of that that implies for him.

Physically he worked hard to grow crops and tend the land but it was emotionally that was crushing him his mother had a break down when her husband passed away. As he tried to support her through her depression it was nothing but exhausting and a labor of his love for him. He couldn’t let her suffer all alone by herself.

His nice cousin made the long trip to visit him and his loved ones sometime after the death of his father. He stayed on for a while to try to help in any way that he could. He even moved in with them in their family manor for a while to see if he could do anything for them. He felt lost as well but he was there for support and to offer his strong shoulders as well to his cousin and friend.

The cousins were more like siblings than cousins though, in how they were raised mostly. He vowed that they would have fun and he wouldn’t regr
et making the trip. When he arrived, he sat alongside of Alec and chatted with the family endlessly it seemed. They were pleasant and kind and were happy to spend time together with extended family.

Alec thought of Emma daily and wondered what had become of her after everything was said and done. If she had gotten married, had children, or whether she had found other interests for herself.

He dared not explore the subject for fear that his kind mother would once again go into a tail spin of a break down just like she had done before. It had set her back so very far and he would never take that risk knowing what was at stake.

He thought for sure that he would never know the answer to the question of just what exactly what had caused her breakdown ultimately. He knew the basics but he wanted, no he needed to know what had make her go so far astray from the well - traveled road.

He wondered if he should have been there when his father got sick, only if he could have done more. Even though things felt lonely and desolate, the family fibers grew stronger with every growing day. It was a very good thing that his cousin came to visit during such a difficult time.

He loved his family, but more so he craved the close friendship that he and his cousin had for one another. He felt that having someone’s undivided support was ultimately what would get him through the hard times in the end. Friendship to him translated to strength in some ways and maybe he was right.

Chapter III – What Shall We Do?

The lovely Emma was linked to the royal family by name and name alone, it seemed. But there was one character trait that set her apart from the crowd. She had the clarity of having her heart severely injured by her first true love she thought and it had changed her tremendously. She would never again trust someone the way she had trusted Alec. The pain didn’t seem worthwhile, or even necessary, to her.

She had formed the focused ambition of becoming the best chef that she could be. She had always loved being in the kitchen at her mother’s apron strings. But above and beyond that she dreamed of opening her very own place for others to come and dine on her elegant and delectable creations and to enjoy their time with their friends and family at special times in their lives.
