Anne blushed and turned to Ed and said
“I feel like I have been given the chance of something really special. The Colonel talked about rewards last night and I want you to know that you are my reward Ed.”
“What did you do to deserve this reward?” Asked Ed smiling.
“I don’t know. I don’t deserve you. I’m just glad we have each other.”
“Me too.” Ed said as he kissed her.
