Anna

Douglas took his time, feasting on each breast in turn before he slid his hand down over her stomach and stroked her mound lightly. She needed more, needed him to be firmer, harder between her legs, but he stroked her gently, teasing her as he had all day.

Did he want her to beg him?

Then he moved, his hands spreading her thighs apart and he positioned himself there, between them. His mouth covered her mound, and he sucked harshly, his tongue flicking out to press against her clit.

Anna found it almost unbearable; she pulled against the restraints, raising her knees up. Instead of pushing them back down he hooked his arms under them and pressed them apart, opening her up for him. He used his tongue to lick the length of her slit, lingering once more on her clit. Her sex ached to be entered, to be given the same attention, but his hands stayed firmly out of the way.

She lifted her hips and pressed herself against him, and he continued to lick and suck at her clit making it throb. Her moans were insistent, and finally he pushed his tongue into her, penetrating her sex. It wasn’t enough, but it was better than nothing.

Anna was close to coming, but she needed him inside her, she admired his staying power because when she lifted her head and craned her neck forward she could see how hard he was, his cock erect between his legs.

  “Fuck me, Douglas,” she begged.

He looked up, his chin wet with her juices, and smiled. Slowly he rose up onto his knees and with his thick cock in full view he rolled a condom onto it. Then he held himself firmly, rubbing his stiff length against her sex. Up and down her slit, each time pressing into her entrance just a touch.

Anna pushed herself forward, trying to get him to enter her, but he was not ready to, not yet. He wanted her to wait, to be so ready for him he would be able to slide straight into her.

Now he pressed the head of his cock inside her, before pulling out, he repeated this a couple of times, and then content she was ready he plunged straight into her hard.

Anna had been waiting for this all day; she watched his face, seeing the grimace of relief as he impaled her completely. It felt so good, to be filled by him at last, and she wanted to make sure he did not have the willpower to pull out and leave her wanting again, but with her arms above her head she could not touch him.

Instead she used her strong inner muscles to grip him, and then release him, setting up a pulsing that he struggled to resist. For Anna the feeling was incredible, her sex longed to contract around him and enjoy release, and with every movement that moment came closer.

At last she came, her sex tight around him. Douglas held on for much longer, thrusting into her hard riding her wave of pleasure. First one orgasm, then surely another, followed. He placed his fingers on her clit and did not lift the pressure on her until she begged him to stop, how many orgasm she had, she lost count.

It was only now that he let himself go. He cried out, his thrust short and sharp into her. Her body responded again, until she was utterly spent, aching inside from the tightness of her inner walls as they contracted around his cock.

Douglas slumped forward over her, his cock still buried inside her while he kissed her too sensitive flesh. His lips finally met hers and kissed her tenderly.

“Worth waiting for?” he asked, she nodded, her mind turned to mush by the intensity of the experience.

He kissed the tips of her nipples, still taut with arousal, and down over her stomach. Slowly her breathing returned to normal, and something approaching desire grew inside her. She wanted him again; he could make love to her all night if he wanted. Anna would not stop him.

Douglas was hard again too, he removed the condom he had filled, and replaced it with another one. Then he eased her onto her stomach, raising her on her knees so her bottom stuck up in the air.

His fingers worked inside her, not that there was any need; she was already wet and ready for him again. This time he reached for something, but she could not see, her heart rate increased as she once again considered what he meant to do.

With one hand he ran his cock up and down her slit, sliding it down and over her clit before moving back up to tease her entrance. Once again he slid straight into her, filling her completely with a grunt of approval. They fitted together perfectly, her sex sheathing him snugly.

He gripped her hips and moved in and out of her slowly, taking his time to build up to climax. However, he had something else up his sleeve, the love egg.

Switching it on, he proceeded to reach around her and hold it against her clit, the vibrations sending thrills through her body. She lunged back onto him when it first touched her, making him go deeper into her. Anna pressed her face into the bed covers as she tried to smother her cries of ecstasy.

Almost instantly she was close to coming, the vibrations against her sensitive nub like nothing she had ever experienced. Then Douglas moved the egg, and his hand left her hip to rub her there instead. He thrust into her, no longer holding her still, and so she had to brace herself.

To her delight the vibration returned, he was running it lightly over her bottom, the flesh quivering under it. Then, to her horror, and intense enjoyment, he ran it around her puckered hole. This was too much, he stimulated every part of her, her clit with his fingers, her sex with his wonderful cock, and now the nerves of her other hole were stimulated in a way she had never known possible.

If he had not tied her up she would have tried to stop him, to object. But to be restrained was freeing, she was indeed under his control, and she had to submit. She had promised she would, and intended to keep her word. He had planned this all along, taking away her inhibitions by taking away her power.

He lunged into her, hard strokes, a rhythm that brought him to an incredibly powerful orgasm. The condom inside her filled with his seed, and the warmth of it, along with his pulsing cock pushed her over the edge. Anna had never known orgasms were supposed to be like this.

Before Douglas sex had been almost polite, restrained. This was letting go, and enjoying her body, and that of her man.

  Chapter Nine

“What time is it?” Anna asked, rubbing her eyes.

The sound of a phone ringing had woken her. She looked at Douglas, noting his grave face. Something was wrong.

“OK. Yes, I’ll get back as soon as possible. Thanks for ringing Mom; I’ll speak to you soon.” He was quiet for a moment. “Mom, don’t cry, I’m sure it will be OK, he’s a tough old guy.”

Anna felt her stomach lurch; obviously Mr Stanhope had taken a turn for the worse.

“Bye, Mom. Yes I’m making arrangements now.”

“You’re grandfather?” Anna asked as soon as he ended the call.

“Yeah, he’s in intensive care. I have to get back as soon as I can.”

“You do what you need to do. I’ll pack.”

She was up and out of the bed at once, dragging on the first clothes she came to and digging out her case. Anna piled everything in, retrieving the clothes that had been discarded so hastily the day before. All the time she listened while Douglas made a few phone calls.

Trying to get home was not going to be easy at such short notice.

He came back into the room, looking a little relieved. “I’ve booked us on a commercial flight that leaves in two hours. It was easier than trying to arrange the jet at this time of night.”

Anna cast a look at the clock; it was two in the morning. He was right, trying to track the pilot and get the plane ready to leave would have taken longer, not to mention getting clearance to fly out of the airport at such short notice.

  “Are you OK?” she asked.

“Yeah, just shocked. His treatment was going well, this is a bit out of the blue.”

She came to him and gave him a hug, kissing his chest. “It'll be fine. Now what can I do?”

Between them they had the villa back to how they found it and everything packed with in half an hour. The cab arrived to take them to the airport, luckily they made good time, and the traffic was thin
at this time of night.

Once at the airport Douglas went to collect the tickets, and they went through security. In a complete haze they found themselves seated on a plane and heading home. To Anna it seemed another lifetime ago that they had spent the day at the beach and then making love all night. Only her aching muscles told her it had really happened.

It seemed their bubble had burst, Douglas hardly said a word to her all the way home, and she didn’t push him, knowing he was worried about his grandfather. He had pushed her to one side, and all the talk of love, and any future they might have, had been left back at the villa. At least she still had her memories.

“Can I drop you home?” Douglas asked as they came out of the airport.

He had phoned his mom as soon as they touched down; he was going straight to the hospital.

“Do you want me to come with you?” she asked, finding it unbearable to leave him when he was so upset.

“No. You go and get some sleep. I’ll call you when I know what’s going on.”

  “If you’re sure.”

His car drew up, and she wanted to go with him, to spend every last minute with him because after they parted it would be the end, she knew that. However, she did not want to put him to any trouble, so she told him she would get a cab home.

  “Are you sure?” he asked.

“Yes. You go on. I live in the opposite direction, so it makes sense.” She was lying; nothing made sense, not any more. He had turned her world on its head, and she did not know how to put it right again.

  ***

“Thanks for coming,” Anna said opening the door and letting her sisters in, she had gone to bed when she got home that morning. Now she needed some sisterly comfort.

Susie and Rachel took one look at Anna’s tear stained face and gave her a big hug.

“Oh, Anna. What happened?” Susie asked, finding a tissue to blot the big tears which rolled down her sister's cheeks.

There was a knock at the door and Celine came in to join them. “Come on. I’ll put the kettle on, and you can tell us all about it. I hope you’ve bought cake, Rach.”

“Of course. Let’s go in and sit down Anna, then tell you can tell us all about it.”

“I could make a little doll of him and we can take it in turns to stick pins in,” Celine called.

  “No. It’s not like that.”

They sat and listened while drinking tea and eating Rachel’s delicious cakes, although they all noted Anna had no appetite. This was bad, nothing ever affected Anna. She never let it.

“So what am I supposed to do?” Anna asked. “Do I go to work?”

  “Of course.”

“Have you spoken to him, Anna?” asked Rachel.

“Since we came back, once. He called from the hospital to give me an update on his grandfather.”

“And how is he?” asked Susie, knowing how much he meant to Anna.

“Better. The meds seem to be working, he should pull through.”

“There, once he’s better Douglas will be in touch,” Susie replied optimistically, as always.

  “I don't know. I think I’ve ruined my career.”

  “Why?” asked Rachel.

“Everyone will know I slept with him. It will undermine my reputation.”

“Nonsense. You’re allowed to have a personal life. It took me a while to figure that one out,” Rachel said.

“But everything I achieve there now will look as though I only accomplished it by sleeping with my boss.”

“So. The only person who needs to know that isn't the truth is you,” Celine said firmly.

  “You don’t understand.”

“We all understand how hard you’ve worked. Don’t throw it away now.”

“At this moment I don’t know what’s going on,” Anna said, close to tears again.

“What did he say? When you got on the plane?” asked Rachel.

“Yes, Anna, what did he say? Trent thought he had feelings for you,” said Susie.

“Trent. Susie you dark horse, you never told us you had a new man.” Celine loved to know what was going on in her sisters’ lives.

“I don’t, he was there when I dropped Anna off.”

“And?” Celine pushed for more details.

“And nothing,” insisted Susie, although her sisters knew better. “This is about Anna, not me.”

“Sorry, of course,” said Celine. “When are you due back to work?”

“I don’t know, but I thought I ought to go in tomorrow. It’s different if I was still away, but now I’m back I feel I should go in.”

“Then do it. With your head held high,” said Celine.

“Do you want me to come with you?” asked Susie.

  “No. Thanks. I’ll be fine.”

“Right. Well get some sleep, and ring if you have any news. Or you want one of us to set Douglas straight.” Celine got up and grabbed her bag, looking as well groomed as ever.

“Honestly, He’s not the bad guy. Circumstances just got in the way,” Anna said defending Douglas.

“Look. Anna’s right, see what Douglas does. I’m sure it will be the right thing.” After what Susie had gone through with Mark it always amazed the others that she looked on the bright side where men were concerned.

“Men. At least you have a good one, Rachel.”

“I know, but I wish all of you were as happy as me.”

  “One day,” said Susie wistfully.

Rachel and Celine were opening the front door to leave; their talk had turned to Rachel’s wedding dress which Celine was organising. Anna took the opportunity to speak quietly to Susie.

  “How are you?”

“Don’t worry about me. You look after yourself.”

“I really wish we could find you a good man. Or any man to get you over Mark.”

“Like Trent Powell? He asked me to go for coffee but I turned him down. I’m not ready.”

“Oh Susie. I’m sorry, he’s engaged.”

  “Engaged?” Susie definitely sounded disappointed.

“Yes. It was his villa we stayed at, and Douglas said he bought it when he was engaged.”

“Lucky escape for me then.” She smiled at Anna, and gave her a hug. “I am sure your Douglas will come through for you.”

“I’m not sure he is my Douglas. Goodnight,” Anna called to her sisters, and then shut the door firmly before bursting into tears.

She went and had a bath, trying to relax and get her emotions under control. Tomorrow she would go back to work, and act normally. For all she knew they may all still be under the impression that Anna went away with Douglas for business, exactly as planned. She would bury her feelings and get on with what she did best. Work.

The sound of her phone ringing startled her; she climbed out of the bath, dripping on the floor. Anna expected it to be one of her sisters, but it was Douglas.

Taking a deep steadying breath she answered it. “Hello.”

“Anna. Hi, it’s me. Sorry I’ve not had chance to speak to you sooner. Can you meet me?”

  “Now?”

“Yes. I know it’s late but there's something I need to see you about, preferably when there's no one at the office.”

“OK,” she said numbly. “I’ll be there in forty minutes.”

“Great. Are you OK, Anna?” he asked concerned.

“Of course. I’ll see you there.” She ended the call before he could say anything else. Feeling too upset to speak.

He was going to fire her. That would be the only reason he would ask her to meet him at work out of hours. She had been stupid, and he had used her. It was a holiday romance, all be it a short one. Now back in the real world he had decided they could not keep up a professional relationship. So much for his words about love and trust.

She dressed simply, leaving her hair down, and made her way into the building that had been her second home for the last few years. She would miss it, and all the people working there, they were familiar faces, if not friends. They
would be glad to see her go, of course, and she deserved that.

Douglas was waiting for her, the lights of the conference room bright, illuminating the hallway as she made her way to her doom.

He stood looking as handsome, if not as perfect, as always. For once Douglas looked tired, and he had not shaved, probably since the last morning they had been at the villa.

Her first thoughts were for Mr Stanhope. “How is your grandfather?”

Douglas dragged his hand through his hair. “Better. They think he will pull through, although this had zapped the last of his strength. But it has made him realise that he is not going to be coming back here.”

This is it, Anna thought. The business is in Douglas’s hands now, along with her career.

When she didn’t speak, he continued, “I have had a long talk with him about this place. And he decided to get his lawyer in too, make it more permanent.”

He opened a folder and pulled out a thick wad of paper. A contract, her contract. He really was going to fire her.

“You are welcome to get your own lawyer to go over it, but I think everything is in order.” He passed it to her, and her eyes welled with tears. She had been betrayed. “I want you to know this has nothing to do with what happened between us.”

“I understand.” She took the contract from him.

“It’s OK, Anna,” he said, coming around to stand by the side of her, his body pressed against hers. “I will always be in easy reach to help you. It’s a big decision, but I know you are up to it, and my grandfather was fairly insistent if you want the truth.”

“I don’t understand,” Anna said, wiping her eyes clear. “I thought you were firing me.”

“No! The opposite, we want you to run the business.”

She flopped down in a chair, her mind in a whirl. Douglas came to kneel in front of her, his fingers brushing her cheek where a stray tear rolled down it.

“Anna. What I said to you at the villa was the truth. I think this is the best way. I can concentrate on my other business ventures knowing someone I trust is in charge here.”
