Hard to Fight Page 6

by Viola Grace

  Dharthom, you can come out.

Thank you, you know I value your private time. I could adjust your memories if you like. I believe I know how.

No, thank you. I will deal with them and blur them. I still need to remember what went on or everything that went into making my personality will unravel into nothing.

Understood. You are doing surprisingly well considering what is in your memories.

Thank you. Your understanding is appreciated.

Dret whispered, “Would you like to go for a flight?”

“Now? I have to get dressed.” They both slept without clothing when they were together. It speeded things along.

“Don’t bother. No one is awake.”

She grinned, and since she was full of adrenalin, she ran to the balcony. With one leap, she was in the air and he was chasing after her.

Her mate was patient, kind, sexy and did the dishes, though laundry still escaped him. She watched him come at her with a ferocious gleam, and she darted away. He loved playing sky tag and naked sky tag was like a present for him.

He gave her so much; a little public nudity was not much to ask. Besides, when he caught her, the skies lit with colour. When you found something that made you both happy, there was no point in fighting it.

  Author’s Note

I hope you enjoyed Brenn’s story. Yes, it got a little dark. That happens sometimes.

  Thanks for reading,
