When I originally started this project I had one intention— to put the entire story between Valentin, Sofia and Desmond in one book. As I continued writing I realized I couldn’t do this. It would be extremely rushed and one thing I’m not going to do is try to shove out as many words as possible because it ultimately ends up effecting the overall quality of my work.
So, Deceptive Love will be part of a duet. The second book will be titled Volatile Love and you can expect to read it later this year.
As many of you know, I wrote Forbidden Love which is the first novel in the Mackenzies series, which is Liam Mackenzies’ love story. I know many of you are reading this right now, wondering if you can read about Liam’s story and the good news is that you can. However, there will be one major spoiler if you do. Obviously, I won’t tell you what it is but I can say that even though you’ll have that spoil (and most likely immense shock) you’ll also start to see a few other things.
Many of you who have been with me since the beginning know how close to my heart the Mackenzies are. It makes me pleased that after three years I’m finally putting this out into the world. I think 2020 is going to be amazing, loves. I really have a feeling all five books will be released this year and I hope you’re as ready for it as I am.
