His Secrets Page 23

by Bishop, K. M.

And even more surprised, that he was actually being cordial and ready to meet Blake’s parents. My mother must have finally broken through his thick head, which wasn’t easy to do. She was the only one who could ever have done it.

“It’s very nice to meet you,” Blake’s father said. “Charles. Charles Maynard, at your service.”

“At my service? Wow, that is so formal,” my mother replied. “You can call me Maggie.”

“Maggie, it is a pleasure,” Charles said. “This is my wife Alice,” he said introducing her.

I looked over at Blake who was smiling ear to ear. We’d both been crazy nervous about this meeting, but so far things were actually going really well.

“So, I guess we will be seeing much more of each other,” Charles said.

“It looks that way,” my mother replied. She looked over at me and winked.

A sigh of relief escaped me, and I found myself relaxing ever so slightly. We weren’t out of the woods yet, but we were close.

The rest of the rehearsal was fine. I was more nervous about where I was supposed to be and when I was supposed to walk down the aisle, remembering the right responses, and all the while trying to make sure I looked beautiful and elegant as brides were expected to be.

Blake was a nervous wreck though. That was hilarious. He kept forgetting his lines, and he came out too late during the first rehearsal, which would have made it look as if I’d been left at the altar if this were the real wedding. And he hammed it up of course, as he always did when he was around large crowds. And there was the added element of Dane and Donna thrown into the mix, since they were the best man and maid of honor, respectively. Those two together were laugh riots. Why they had never gotten together, or so much as hooked up before astounded me. They were a perfect match, except they hated each other.

After we went through three rehearsals, it was time to go to the rehearsal dinner. Blake’s mother and father had catered the event at their mansion. We all went back there and congregated around the table.

I sat beside Blake, and he reached out and took my hand as we sat at the head of the table, where his parents usually sat. It was our special day coming up, our wedding rehearsal dinner, so we got to sit on the throne, so to speak.

“How are you doing?” Blake asked.

  “I’m doing fine,” I said.

“Then why are you clutching my hand so tightly?”

I realized that I was squeezing him hard and I relinquished my grip. He was right; this was all getting to me a bit. I was still nervous, even though I didn’t think I had any reason to be. Everything was going so well. My parents and Blake’s parents all seemed to be in great spirits.

But I still couldn’t shake the feeling that this was all a bunch of pretend. I could see it in my father’s eyes; he was putting on an act. It was a good act and it might have fooled everyone else, but I wasn’t totally buying it.

Although, I could have been wrong. Oh, why was I second guessing myself so much? The past few weeks with the wedding looming before me, my belly growing bigger each day with the baby, and all of the things I had to do to get ready for the wedding—I was going nuts. It turned out that being pregnant was the very thing that toppled me over and I had to say that I could do no more. I put about eighty percent of everything in the hands of the wedding planner that Blake had recommended.

And he was really good. In person the ideas and everything he spoke about just came to life in a way that so far, I hadn’t been able to see. That alleviated some of the anxiety I was feeling, but at the same time it stirred up a bunch of resentment inside me. I was supposed to be able to handle everything. There had been moments where I wondered if Blake had thought me any less of a woman for not being able to do it all. Preposterous, I knew, but those thoughts were there, and they had a way of popping up randomly just to drive you crazy until you lost it.

Right now, I was still on edge about my mother and father. And it turned out, I was totally right.

“So, what was it like, being in the mob?”

The question stunned everyone. There it was suddenly, just blurted out into thin air. It had nothing to do with the subject of conversation anywhere, but my father had just decided to ask that question. Had he heard some sort of voice that had propelled him to go ahead and just ask the question that was on our minds? It was the gigantic tank in the middle of the living room no one was mentioning, and right there it was.

I stared at my mother open mouthed. She shrugged and looked over at Charles, waiting on an answer.

  Had they planned this?

“I’m sorry,” I said. “Charles, I am so sorry.”

Charles held his hand up. “It’s quite alright, my dear. To answer your question, it was mostly like any other business. Most of my time was seeing about the day to day operations of the legitimate businesses we used for a front for some of our covert operations. But the majority of it was dull, boring business. It wasn’t nearly as glamour our as exciting as the movies make it out to be.”

“Oh, so you didn’t kill people? That’s a relief,” my father said sarcastically.

  “Dad! What are you doing?”

“What? Are we really going to sit here and pretend that we don’t all know about this? I can’t sit idly by while my daughter marries into this crime family.”

“They are not a crime family!” I yelled.

Blake was holding me back as I stood up out of my chair. I was livid. How dare my father do this? It wasn’t right and Blake’s family did not deserve it.

“I’m out of here,” my father said.

He stood up and walked out. My mother followed him without saying a word.

They just left that way and didn’t even attempt to apologize or salvage the situation. They’d waited for the right time to ambush Blake’s father. I was so disgusted by my parents. I was deeply ashamed.

“I’m so sorry,” I said. Tears were forming in my eyes.

Charles smiled and said, “Oh, don’t worry about it. I half expected it. I just hope they come to terms with things. Give them time.”

But we didn’t have that much time to give them. The wedding was in a few days. How were they going to act there? Was it going to be another humiliating embarrassment?

I did my best to enjoy the rest of the evening, but I felt dislocated. Was I replacing my family with a new one? And would they ever be able to get along?

  Chapter Twenty-Seven

  Blake

Tina was the most beautiful bride I’d ever seen.

As I stood at the altar watching her walking down the aisle towards me, all I felt was total peace. It had been so long since I’d felt this way. All of the stress, strain, worrying, ups and downs, and the changes that had taken place in our lives—brought us to the most amazing experience of our lives. Our wedding.

Tina had been worried about being pregnant, but she was the most radiant looking woman I’d ever laid eyes on. From her gown, to her hair, makeup, her smile, and our child growing in her belly, she was the epitome of pure radiance. I’ve never been much of a crier, but the tears were stinging the back of my eyelids as she took step after step towards me, being escorted by her father.

I was happy that he’d come around, enough to walk his baby girl down the aisle. I knew he hated me and everything that my family stood for. All I could do was show him that we were good people, and that my father had made some bad mistakes, which he’d done his best to fix and own up to. That was all you could ask of a man.

Tina reached the altar and as she said goodbye to her father, he reached out and shook my hand. I took his hand and gave it a firm handshake with strong, but warm eye contact. I thought I got a little bit of a smile from him. He would come around, eventually. It was going to take time, but I’ve always been a firm believer that time heals all wounds.

I took Tina’s hand and we stood in front of the minister, all of our family and friends watching. The day was beautiful, and the wedding planner had put together something
magical. It was like being at a wedding under the stars, but in the clouds with a huge, yellow sun right there to enjoy the experience too. It was a magical day, with the most magical woman who had ever walked the earth.

And I got to walk it with her now.

“Dearly beloved,” the minister began. I took a deep breath and looked into the eyes of my betrothed. Our amazing journey was just getting started.

“You are so lucky! This is the best wedding ever!” Donna yelled to Tina as she rushed over to hug her.

The wedding was short, but amazing. Weddings always seemed way longer when you were watching. I’d been to enough of them over the years. After the wedding, we spent a lot of time doing pictures, and then a quick change into something much more comfortable. And now we were at the reception joining the party that was already in progress. Let the good times roll, right?

Tina hugged her friend back. “Thanks! You look amazing, by the way.”

Donna struck a pose. “You ever doubt?”

“No, we did not. So, where is your lucky fella? I wanted to introduce Louis to Blake,” Tina said.

“Cool your jets,” Donna replied. “He’s getting a few beers. You clean up nicely by the way, Blake.” She playfully stuck her tongue out at me.

  “Wow, thanks,” I replied.

A moment later my Uncle Louis came over with a few beers. He handed one to Donna and then popped the top on his own. He smiled at me. “Congratulations, kid!”

“Uncle Louis, I didn’t know if you’d made it,” I said.

Tina was confused. “Wait a minute… Uncle Louis?”

  “Yeah…”

“This is the man who helped me with that creep Norm that day.”

“Hey, you never told me that you’d met my lady before, Uncle,” I said.

Louis shrugged. “Did I forget to tell you that?”

I hit him in the arm playfully, and he got into his fake boxing stance. We joked around for a moment and then hugged it out. “Thanks.”

Uncle Louis put his arm around me and Tina. He looked at Tina. “Hey, you are one of us now. You are family. And our family sticks together through thick and thin, bound by blood. You are a part of that now. So, don’t hesitate to ever ask for help of any kind.”

Tina hugged him back. “Thank you,” she said. “Thank you so much.”

It was a warm feeling to see them hugging it out. It felt like our family was really bound together. I just wished her parents would be so accepting. It would be rough, but I was going to give them all the time that they needed.

“So, what do you think?” Tina asked me a little later, as we shared our first dance as husband and wife.

  “About what?”

“Do you think that Donna and Louis have a shot?”

I looked over at the two of them getting very cozy together and smiled at Tina. “Sure, anything is possible.”

She looked deeply into my eyes. Then she leaned forward and kissed me on the cheek sweetly.

  “And what about my folks?”

“Oh, I think your parents will be married forever,” I teased.

She rolled her eyes. “Not that. Do you think that they will ever accept your family?”

  “Does it really matter?”

She shrugged and relaxed a bit. “No, I guess you’re right.”

“I think the baby that unites our families, will be the perfect thing,” I whispered in her ear.

“Wow, I think you are totally right about that. How did you get so smart?”

  “Probably by listening to you.”

Tina laughed. “Good answer. Good answer.”

  Epilogue

  Tina

  Nine Months later…

I took Blake’s cock between both of my hands, as I flattened them out. Then I carefully, slowly, curled my fingers around the length of his shaft. He responded by growing exponentially larger, defying the grip of my slender fingers around his massive girth. The beautiful head of his cock was protruding through the gap past my thumb and my index finger. I tugged back on it slightly and smiled as the hole opened up a little bit as if saying peek-a-boo.

I dropped my other hand down the length of his shaft slowly, until my fingers settled on a good grip around his balls. I gave his sack a few squeezes and Blake smiled in response. Yeah… he was enjoying all of that.

I leaned forward in the bed and kissed the tip of his dick, drawing up the smallest bit of spit and letting it seep out of my mouth right down the hole of his cock. Blake moaned warmly. I wasn’t sure if that was pleasure or pain, but I loved the sound.

“How do you want it?” I asked, my hands gripping his dick and stroking him harder. My hand looked so small wrapped around his massive size. It was almost funny, but he loved the way my small fingers felt against his massive dong.

“Please kiss it baby,” Blake said.

“It needs kisses?” I asked. “Are you sure?”

  “Yes…”

I kissed the head of his dick. It was smooth against my lips, and the warmth flowed from his body to mine. I could almost taste the lust within him. He wanted me so badly. It had been a little while, with both of our work schedules plus taking care of a baby.

But now we had the time and the freedom; we were going to take full advantage of it all.

  “Is that it?” I asked.

  “Yes…” Blake moaned.

I opened my mouth widely and just took every inch of his fleshy prong inside of me. His toes curled and a loud groan escaped him as if he was on the verge of some kind of fit, but he kept it together and ended his moan with some sort of a hissing sound.

I took this to indicate that I was doing something right. I loved the way his cock tasted inside of my mouth. The feeling, the smell, the sweetness, and the knowledge of the fact that I was doing something that he loved more than just about anything.

I was getting so wet. With my now free hand I reached down and fingered myself hard, rubbing vigorously over my clit, and then slipping the fingers into my sopping slit to grab some more wetness and spread it around my whole area. I wanted to be so ready for him to enter me in a minute.

I could tell that he was getting ready. His cock was almost to the point of maximum size, and I could taste the indulgent droplets of his sweet pre cum.

Forcing my throat down on his cock and drawing the last bits of savory flavor that I could from him, I released his dick out of my mouth and then jerked him off a moment while I finished preparing my pussy. I was so ready for him. I wanted to be stretched, to the core by all of him.

“Are you ready?” Blake asked. “I need you…”

I assumed the position with my legs spread apart, ready and welcoming for his magnificent length and his massive girth to tear me apart in all the ways I’d dreamt of since we had jumped on our private jet.

  “I’m ready!” I hissed.

Blake shoved his cock into me, forcing it as far as he could as I held myself still and absorbed the full impact of his monumental dick. It hurt, but it felt so good all at the same time. How could that much pleasure and pain possibly exist together? I didn’t know, but I wanted all of it. I existed for it. I was his to use as he saw fit. Yeah… I loved to feel that way during sex. It was so nice to just let go sometimes.

Blake threw his hard cock in and out of me in rapid succession, grunting loudly with every single thrust. I could feel the head of his dick scraping against the back of my inner walls, the wetness pouring on even harder as he entered me. The sweet smell of sex wafted up to my nostrils, followed by the plopping sounds of his prick moving in and out of my wet pussy.

He grabbed my legs and moved them to the side just then, so that my legs and my upper body were ninety degrees to each other. Then Blake rammed his hard dick into me over and over again, deeper and deeper. The new sensation caused by the new position sent me waves of ecstasy that I had never quite felt before. Wow… the intensity was huge.

  “Don’t stop… don’t stop… fuck me!” I yelled.
I wanted it. It was all I’d been dreaming about for days and now here it was. We were finally alone and could make as much noise as we wanted. This was no holds barred sex at its finest. Right now, we didn’t even have the time to do anything fancy. No, more or less just straight fucking.

Blake tuned me farther so that I was in front of him. He had me doggy-style, except that my body was lying flat. I wasn’t propped up on my legs. Blake held my legs together tightly with his hands and continued to enter me.

  “Ahh… that is so good…” I groaned.

  “Yeah…” Blake grunted behind me.

It was coming. I could feel him getting closer. I was not far off myself.

I braced for the tidal wave that was coming.

And when it finally did come, both of us felt like we had the very first time we’d ever been together. There was just something about the newness of this experience, the quickness of it, the urgency---we had needed to get this first shot out of our systems.

On the new one we would take it nice and slow…

  * * *

“Wow,” Blake said. “Oh, I needed that so badly.”

I chuckled and laid my head on his shoulder. “That makes two of us.”

He kissed me sweetly and then wrapped his arm around me, holding me closely to him. We lay like that for a few minutes, both of us just listening to the gentle, relaxing breathing patterns of the other one. My head was empty. Sex had always been the best way for me to purge any demons that might have been squirming around my head.

But lately, there had been few. Just the normal stresses of motherhood, which I could not have loved more. Our daughter, Zoe, oh she was so precious. I knew that I would love her, but I had no idea how in love with my child I would be when they placed that little bundle of pure love and energy in my arms. I melted. She melted against me and we were forever bounded together. Nothing would ever change that bond that I had with her the moment she was nestled against me.
