“Only until you get your baby.” His hand smacks my ass, causing me to yelp.

“Then let’s get started.” My body tingles with the promise of more. If that’s all I get from him, I might as well take the pleasure. “When we get back.” He pulls us away from the door and opens it. “The car is waiting.”

The ride to my apartment is in complete silence. I want to ask him questions, but he’s typing away on his phone, ignoring me. I go through my phone and see a text from Angie. What happened with the hottie from last night?

Did something crazy. I’ll call you later.

As we pull to the apartment building, the embarrassment of being poor hits me. We’re from entirely different worlds. “Come on, Jenna. We have to mark everything you want to take and pack up some clothes to take with us. It’s almost summer so most days will be warm, but nothing like summer here. Please pack a sweater to go just in case. Whatever you don’t pack, we can pick up after we get you settled in.”

  “Thank you, Jake.”

  “Anything for my beautiful wife.”

  “Wife?” my landlord exclaims.

“Excuse me? Who the hell are you?” Jake asks him, grabbing my hand and sliding me behind him to protect me.

  “Her ex-lover.”

“I know you’re a lying piece of shit.”

“How do you think she pays her rent. On her knees.” I didn’t see it coming, and neither did Novak. Jacob’s fist goes into his face, dropping the scumbag on the ground.

  “Mr. Harrison, is everything okay?”

“Thank you, Leonel. Do me a favor. Get the movers here right now. And I’d like to press harassment charges on this guy. He’s stalking my wife."

“I own this building,” he groans, holding his nose. I wonder how much trouble Jake’s going to be in. Hope he’s going to be okay. I’d hate for this asshole to sue him or have him arrested for assault.

“Not for long,” Jake pulls out his phone and starts typing in a text message.

“What? I didn’t do anything,” Novak exclaims. “You’re the bastard who hit me. I’m going to sue the pants off of you.”

“Ha. You sick fuck. From the way my wife shivered in your presence, I’d beg to differ. You’re not going to make it to court to sue me if you say another word. Now, if you want to live, you’ll get out of my sight.”

We go to the apartment, and I have to let him know that nothing Novak said was true. “He’s lying, you know that right?”

He pulls me into his arms and kisses me. “Thank fuck for that. He looks like scum. The thought of your lips around him is fucking gross. I’d have to kill the bastard.” He pulls away and walks around the room, watching his step to avoid knocking over my piles of books.

“Wow, you have a real collection of books,” he remarks, flipping open one of the medical books I’ve collected. “Medical?”

“Most of them aren’t special or anything. I actually have never gone to medical school. I just like to learn.” A smile crosses his face, and I wonder if he's remembered my revelation in the shower when I confessed that I’ve never sucked a cock before, but I was willing to learn. He winks, and I know that’s what he’s thinking. A blush steals over my face, but I can’t say that I don’t want to do it again.

“Well, it’s great that you still read them. If you want to take the books, we’ll take them all. I don’t have a large library yet, but that can be arranged.” He needs to stop being so sweet. It’s moments like this and when he knocked Novak on his ass for insulting me. Oh my goodness, it reminds me that he probably hurt his hand.

I walk up to him and take his hand, looking at his knuckles. They’re a little swollen, but the skin’s not broken. “Does it hurt?” With his other hand, he brushes the hair off my face and cups my cheek.

“Not at all.” My skin heats up with his touch. I lean into it.

He moans, pressing his forehead to mine. “Careful, you’re liable to get fucked here, and we don’t have time.”

“How about you just kiss me?” He bends down, sliding his hand into my hair until my head is tilted up to look at him. “Jake,” I sigh. Growling, his mouth captures mine roughly. He picks me up with one hand around my waist. I quickly wrap my legs around him and hold on as he carries me to the nearest wall until my back hits the surface.

“I’m about to breed your sexy ass. It’s going to be quick because you have me going wild. Be quiet for me. I don’t want anyone to hear your cries. They belong only to me.” He pulls himself out of his pants and lifts up my skirt, thrusting in my very tight yet wet pussy.

Both of us moan as his tip jabs my cervix like he’s trying to go as deep as possible. I cling to him, my orgasm teeters on the edge. “Ah, Jake, fuck me,” I cry out.

His hand covers my mouth with his hand. Grunting, he says, “I’ll stop no matter how much it kills me. I’m serious about your orgasms only belonging to me. Come for me, only me, Jenna.” My walls squeeze around his shaft, pulling him deeper if that’s even possible. His threat to pull out only turns me on more until I’m moaning against his hand.

“Jenna. Jenna. I’m coming, too,” he roars, filling me up with his hot seed. “I could be inside you all day.”

“I agree, but yeah, they’re probably waiting for us.” He kisses my forehead and pulls out. His thick rod is still sporting a full hard-on. If it wasn’t for his seed sliding down my thighs, I’d think he didn’t just come.

  “You’re still so hard.”

“I am. That’s what you do to me. Let’s get out of here. The sooner we get to Chicago, the sooner I’ll make sure you come for me as loud as possible.”

He pulls me into his arms and steals another kiss before stepping back and letting me mark the items. He opened the door to a moving company and Jack.

  Chapter Seven

  Jake

“Hey, bro. There’s some jackass out there claiming you clocked him.” He points outside the apartment.

I walk around him and look out the door. He’s not in the hallway, so he must be downstairs. Fuck him. “He’s talking shit. He didn’t learn the first time?”

“Whoa! You really punched the fucker.” He shakes his head, but I don’t regret it one bit. I should have done worse, knowing that she had to put up with that bastard on a regular basis. If he’s willing to say that shit in front of me and my driver then he’s probably done much more than I’ll have to ask her about.

“He insulted my wife,” I inform him, crossing my arms and daring him to give me a hard time. There’s no way in hell, I’d let anyone talk to her like that.

“I’m not saying he didn’t deserve it. I’m just surprised.”

“Yeah, well you’ll be seeing a new side of me.”

He claps my back and looks around the apartment. Turning his attention back to me, he says, “I like it. Now, are we almost ready to go? The jet is getting fueled as we speak.”

“Sure. Let me see what Jenna needs help with.” I walk into the bedroom and see her bent over in her closet. I creep up behind her and grab her waist, sending her jumping back. We both tumble to the ground as she screams.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.”

“Shit, sorry. I guess I’m not used to all of this,” she explains, trying to get up only to stumble back onto my lap. I groan because her round ass bounces on my dick, stiffening it further.

“Are you okay? Are you hurt?” I ask, hating that I scared her.

“No, not at all,” she giggles out.

  “What’s so funny?” I ask.

“Even with us tumbling to the floor, your cock is still very hard.” She giggles some more while rubbing her ass all over my throbbing groin.

I help stand us up before I embarrassingly come on myself. “Well, that’s why I came behind you. Your sexy ass was sticking up in the air, tempting me like a red cloth to a bull,” I growl, holding her in my arms with my lips on hers for a quick kiss. I can’t stop kissing her. It’s like breathing for me.

  “Sorry, I’ll ke
ep my ass tucked in for now on.”

“You couldn’t if you tried. So I’m in here to see if you’re almost done.”

“I am. I already informed the movers what to take. I’m packing my clothes right now. I don’t have a lot, but these suitcases should be okay. It’s one of the few nice things I have left.” They weren’t an expensive kind, but they looked brand new. “I know they’re nothing special or anything, but it’s the first time I get to use them.”

“I don’t care if they’re ragged. If they help get the job done, they work for me,” I explain. Despite liking them, she’s embarrassed about the quality. I should reassure her that I grew up poor, but I doubt she’d believe me.

I wait for her to zipper up each of the suitcases, then I take the two large ones out of the room, while she wheels out the tiny one. “Ah, so that’s what you two were doing. I thought maybe you guys couldn’t keep your hands off each other again,” Jack teases.

Jenna is quick to respond, “No, we don’t want an audience.”

“Good. It’s not something I’d care to see.”

“That’s great because I’d rip your damn eyeballs out. Can we get this show on the road? Jenna and I have a lot of things to do before I return to work.”

We leave the apartment with the movers to take everything that’s not furniture or appliances. Jenna only wants her books and her trinkets and shit. The rest can rot here. I’ll give her much nicer furnishings.

The landlord is nowhere to be seen and it better stay that way if he wants to live.

We board the flight with the same stewardess on board. “Jenna, do you want anything to drink?”

  “Just some water.”

  “Same for me.”

“Yes, Mr. Harrison. And you sir?” she asks Jack.

“I’ll have a rum and Coke please.”

Once she’s gone, I cock my brow at him. She’s polite, but not overly and definitely not flirtatious. Jack smirks and adds, “She’s been warned that your wife will be accompanying you.”

  “Makes sense.”

Jenna leans over, and with clenched teeth, she bites out, “What? Are you bothered when you don’t have women fawning over you all the time?” I accidentally made her jealous, and fuck if I don’t love it.

“The opposite. I ignored her the first time. You don’t have to worry. It’s in the contract,” I remind her.

“Oh yeah,” she nods. “Well, if you’ll excuse me. I’m going to read.”

“Damn, double nerd alert,” Jack calls out.

“Says the geek,” Jenna returns. I flip him off and take her hand, bringing it to my lips. Her soft tiny hands feel so little in mine that I want to wrap her in my arms and protect her from everyone, but she shows that she can handle herself from my brother’s jokes. I kiss it and gently set it down so she can get back to reading.

“Here’s your water, Mrs. Harrison. Do you need anything else?”

“No, thank you.” I can’t tell what she’s thinking, but she asked to read. I know that it means a lot to her, so I let it go. In fact, I like that she’s jealous. It gives me hope that she may fall in love with me like I am with her.

I work on my laptop, hoping to cool the raging desire to lean over and pull her out of her seat so that I can eat her sweet pussy and slam my thick, throbbing cock deep inside her. It’s pure possessiveness that holds me back. The thought of Jack seeing her in the throes of passion stops me from claiming what’s mine.

Jack takes a nap midway through the three-hour flight. When he wakes up, he orders another drink. It’s only his second, which is good because I’d hate for him to reveal the truth about my obsession with my wife.

He takes a long drink of his rum and Coke and then nonchalantly blurts out, “So, I talked to mom this morning.”

“What?” I slam my laptop close, and Jenna lowers her book in curiosity.

He waves his hand, muttering, “Not about you two. Relax. Don’t worry, your secret is safe a little longer. Anyways, I just have to say I’m the only one not getting lucky.”

  “Danny?”

“He was there. It was six in the morning when I called. He grumbled something about come back to bed.”

  “Shit, that was quick.”

“Look who’s talking. Besides, they’re old. It’s not like the clock isn’t ticking.” As usual, I’m unable to keep from looking at her for long, and when I do sneak a peek, I see the questioning expression on her innocent face.

“I’m sorry. We’re being rude,” I say to Jenna, staring at her beauty. “My father died a long time ago. My mom and my usual driver met and hit it off. We expected them to get together, but it happened overnight.”

“That’s really sweet. It’s nice of you both to accept that.”

“Well, she’s been bugging us for grandchildren. With her getting a boyfriend, that might slow down the nagging. I guess not anymore with you two. She’ll be expecting a grandbaby soon.”

“Just wait, I’ll be whispering to mom about you needing a woman. Maybe she can introduce you to her friends’ daughters.”

“Fuck off.” It’s my turn to laugh, but I’m the only one. I can tell I upset my wife again, but I don’t know why and I sure as fuck don’t know how to fix it.

  Chapter Eight

  Jenna

It’s Friday, and we’re supposed to have dinner with his mother, but the dinner has been canceled because his mother supposedly isn’t home today, and Jake has to work late again. He’s been at work late every day this week, and he doesn’t ever want to talk about it when he gets home. In fact, we hardly do any talking. The second he steps through the door his hands are on me, and we forget everything but each other.

He calls me at lunchtime to see how I’m doing. “Sorry, Jake, but I’m not pregnant.”

  “What do you mean?”

My heart races as I explain, “I got my period this morning.” Actually, I only bled a little then it has stopped since then.

I hear a noise in the background and a woman’s voice before he answers, “Oh well…excuse me. I have to let you go. We’ll talk later.”

I don’t hear from him for the rest of the day. It’s almost five at night when the doorbell rings. I open it to see a beautiful woman in her thirties, standing in front of me. She’s in a pair of black leggings, a black top, and a pair of high heeled boots, looking absolutely fabulous.

“Hello, can I help you?” I ask.

“Hi, I’m Melissa. Jake’s assistant. He’s asked me to bring you to his mother’s,” she says.

I terrible feeling hits me. “I thought dinner was canceled.”

“No, it’s back on. His mother can be persistent. It’s no wonder he did her bidding and found himself a wife to give him a baby. She can be a real piece of work. Shit. Please don’t tell him I said that. It’s the reason he and I went back to being just boss and employee. I can’t have kids.”

She catches herself again, clasping her hand over her mouth with the slightest giggle. I look at the long-legged beauty, hating her more than I did when I open the door. I want to slam the door closed in her face, but at the same time, I want to know more.

She shows me her work ID, so I know that she’s telling me the truth. “Oh well, let me get dressed.” As much as I hate having deal with this woman, there’s nothing to do. As long as he’s not sleeping with her now, I have no say. We’re only married for a baby which I haven’t given him yet. “Wait, is Jake not going to the dinner?”

“He’s going to meet you there. He doesn’t want you to be late. It’s lucky that you’re already married. It’ll be hard for her to break you two up,” she offers. She sounds like a jealous bitch, but not as much as me. I want to claw her eyes out. She’s obviously been involved with him. How can he do this to me? He never told me that he and his assistant were a couple. Shit. Maybe that’s the reason for the late hours.

“Are you still sleeping with my husband?” It’s a question I don’t want to ask, but I need to know.

  She smir
ks widely, lifting one of her brows and answers, “It’s only once every morning this week, but then again you two are only together for a baby. He still loves me. As soon as you give him an heir, he’ll be getting that divorce he needs, and I’ll be raising the baby as my own.”

“Get out. Get out now,” I roar, feeling angry enough to launch at her, but I won’t give her the satisfaction. I know she wants to break me.

“That’s fine. I’ll go and see him again. He’s going to be really late tonight.” She waltzes out of the condo with an air of smugness. Immediately, I run into the bedroom and pack my things because I can’t stay here anymore. My heart breaks into a million pieces. One of the painful thoughts comes to my mind, making it hard to breathe.

Is that why he doesn’t kiss me before he leaves to work?

I’m out of the condo with only one of my suitcases packed of clothes. Taking the elevator down, I try to avoid all contact with anyone until I dart outside of the building. I don’t even know where I’m going, but I have to get out of here before he comes home. I have my last check to use, but that’s pretty much it. First, I need to call Angie.

I talked to her on Monday, explaining the whole incident at the banquet and all about my rash decision. She told me if it didn’t work out to give her a call. I hoped I wouldn’t have to, but here I am. I desperately need her to pick me up at the airport and let me stay with her.

She picks up on the second ring. “Hey, girl. How’s the married life treating you?”

Her words open the damn, I cry hard for a few seconds before I ask through tears, “Is it okay if I crash on your couch for a while?”

“Oh, no. Of course, you can. What happened?”

I stop on the corner where there are a bench and a large flower bed, and then I break down completely. “He only wants me for the baby. He has a lover who can’t get pregnant. He fed me lies so I could carry his baby. The contract makes a lot more sense now than it did. He doesn’t kiss me goodbye or anything.”
