Oath Keepers MC: The Collection Page 5

by Sapphire Knight

I strap a few things down and sling my backpack on. I hate how saddlebags look, so I just use a black backpack. The guys all load their shit up, and Ares gives us the go.

As soon as I’m able to jump off my Harley at the motel in Knoxville, I text my baby to let her know we’re here.

Me: Hey baby, I’m in Knoxville for a week. Are you here at the college?

Me: Come on and talk to me London. Twist is here as well and wants to visit with you.

Baby: Cain? Wait, why are you in town? Is it just you and Twist or all of your brothers?

  Me: Hey baby…

Me: Twist, 2 Piece, Capone and Ares are with me.

Baby: Okay, I can meet you at a coffee shop called ‘A Sip of Heaven’ by the college, if that’s okay?

  Me: Okay.

  Chapter 4

  Cameron

  Two months ago…

“London, you’re not telling me everything. You were just dreaming and kept repeating his name. Who is Cain?”

We’ve only been seeing each other for a little while. My best friend is in love with her best friend, so naturally we gravitated toward each other. I’m game to get laid whenever it’s convenient, and they’ve been staying at our house since London arrived in Tennessee. I stare at her curiously, and she looks guilty.

“He’s no one, just a guy I was seeing a while back.” She’s vague about it as if he’s some random person.

I’m not buying it, though; the way she was saying his name was like she had lost a limb or something. I’ve always been kind of jealous; blame it on being the spoiled only child. I usually just hook up and not date too much because of this reason. I can’t stand dealing with the drama of relationships, wondering what they are doing, where they are, et cetera.

London is different, though, I can tell already. I give her a sympathetic look and hope she will just admit whatever she’s evading.

“Dumplin’, you sure about that? You said his name quite a few times. You’re not in any trouble like Emily was, are you?”

Thank fuck Tate finally caught that jackass ex of Emily’s. God knows I will not put up with any issues like that. Tate’s obviously a better man when it comes to that stuff. She puts on a small smile and blinks a few times.

“Yes, I’m good, I swear it. Look you have to hurry or you’ll be late to your class.” She gestures to the clock, and I roll my eyes. I’m so sick of going to these stupid fucking classes.

  Almost done, almost done.

I would just skip, but my father has a coronary if I’m not in all of my classes—every single class. I wish he would just chill out; I’m almost finished with this stupid business degree he insisted I get. He acts like he’s doing me this huge favor by signing the businesses over to me.

I don’t even want to run his stupid hotel chain. Luxury or not, it’s not my life goal to be a hotel heir.

I walk into my walk-in shower. I love this shower so much, with six jets shooting out from different spots along the wall. I soap up and run my hands over my abs. I need to make a trip to the gym.

My alarm starts to ding, and I jump out to get dressed. I throw on my red polo shirt and khaki shorts. I’m going to have to trade in my beloved khakis for my jeans soon as it’s getting cold in the evenings here.

I spread some product in my hair and make my way into my room. London’s lying on the bed in a pair of teal lace cheeky panties and a black tank top with no bra. She so damn hot. I wish I had time to have her suck my dick before I have to leave—later for sure.

I bend down and give her a wet chaste kiss on her forehead. I noticed Emily loves when Tate does it, so I figured I’d start doing it to London, too. She glances up at me with a sweet little smile. I grin back and pinch her ass cheek.

“Later,” I smirk and make my way to the door. I look back at her again.

“Bye, Cam, have fun in class,” she says and winks at me. I flip her off and walk out. I hear her laugh out loud, and I shake my head. She knows how much I hate these classes, and she tries to rub it in as much as possible.

Looks like everyone else is gone; we all keep missing each other before classes. I grab a protein bar and head to my little black Porsche.

It’s time to upgrade to a Maserati.

My classes were boring like always. I wish I could do something I actually enjoy and want to learn. I might be a little more motivated to go and really pay attention to the work. I meet Tate at the gym per our routine, so we can get some training in.

“Hey, how’s it going?” I ask Tate when I see him in the locker room. Niko’s with him. Tate rarely goes anywhere without his bodyguard. Being a Boss and all, he’s always worried about someone taking him out.

I acknowledge Niko with a nod. “‘Sup, Niko?”

“'Sup, Cam,” Niko says and gives me a chin lift.

Tate stands up and heads for the sink as he talks. “It’s going. Glad this shit is handled with Emily and I know she’s safe, you know?” He begins to shove his gym stuff into a locker and locks it.

I come to stand next to him. “I hear you. That’s some crazy shit he pulled in her apartment. I was so upset London had that gun; she could have shot Emily or hurt herself,” I remark as we make our way to the leg weights. Tuesdays and Thursdays are straight leg days.

Niko follows us, and Tate talks louder over the music playing in the gym. “Speaking of that, I asked Em to move in, but she says she can’t leave London behind. Do you care for London or is it just fucking?”

“Look, man, London’s great and she’s sexy as fuck. I can see it going somewhere in time. I’m not going to rush it or anything, just have fun hanging out with her like I am now,” I answer honestly. I know it might sound a little harsh, but not everyone has a perfect relationship like Tate and Emily.

He nods and responds like he knows what I mean. I have to stop myself from scoffing. “I understand. I’m glad you two are having fun. I just don’t want something to happen and for it to become awkward for me and moi Краcota. I was hoping you’d be cool with London staying at the house all the time so Emily won’t go back to her apartment.” So he basically wants them to live with us until they get sick of each other.

Well, if that happens then maybe I’ll get my old best friend back.

I smile and shrug while I press the weight up with my thighs. “I don’t care if they stay. I’m sure once she gets a job, she’ll find her own place anyhow. How’s it going with you and Avery, Niko?” I turn to the big Russian, and he smiles a little.

“Good. We are just having fun. I like the coffee shop she works at, too. She can make some great coffee drinks,” he says with his accent coming out to play on certain words.

I chuckle a little. Niko always appreciates the little things; it’s refreshing. He doesn’t act like he’s God with his nose stuck in the air like Tate has been lately. Tate was so against the life of the Mafia until Emily came around and needed help, then he embraced it.

Now he’s acting like he had never turned his back on it in the first place. I turn and look Tate over when he asks about dinner. He’s a little bigger, but I’m catching up.

“I think we’re grilling crab legs tonight for dinner. Will you be home?” he asks between his leg sets.

I think it over for a second and nod. “Yeah, man, I should be. I’ll stop by the store and get some more beer before I head home later.”

  “Cool, sounds good.”

I have a relaxing workout. I’m slowly getting bigger in size. I don’t want to be buff or anything, but I definitely want to be able to hold my own when I spar with Tate on our boxing days.

I’ve always been somewhat in shape growing up. I played golf and was on the swim team. God, those were the days. I miss fucking the girls that worked at the country club when my father and I would go golfing on Sundays.

I should stop in sometime and see who still works there. I get done showering and am sitting in my car about to head home when my phone rings. I glance down and see it’s Tate’s dad, Konsta
ntin. Weird for him to call me; it’s usually just a text from his guy, Hans.

“Sir?” I answer as soon as I hit the button on my cell.

He takes a second and I wonder if he heard me, when he finally responds. “Cam, my boy! How are you? Good, yes?” His Russian accent is strong. I’m getting better at weeding out the words being around so many Russians here lately.

“Yes, sir, I’m doing well, and yourself? What can I help you with?” I’ve learned over the past few years that he likes everyone to get straight to the point. He pays me, so I conform to what he prefers. I still call him Konstantin, though, rather than Gizya or Boss, but I think it’s because I’m around Tate so much.

“Good, good, I’ve heard that moi sin is seeing someone exclusively. Is this of the truth?”

I try to not sound bitter but like she’s not of any importance. “Yes, he’s seeing a little blonde mouse named Emily. He’s smitten. I think you’ll be meeting her soon.” I know he’ll be excited to hear the news. He wants both of his sons married and his family to expand.

“A mouse, huh? I heard she is more of a little blonde printyessa. I look forward to it; maybe I will have them come for dinner next week then. The shipment that came in yesterday, did you check the product?”

He gets right down to business. I think about Hans’ text message I received earlier about the shipment.

“I’m about to go and check it out right now on my way home, as a matter of fact. I’ll tell Hans if there are any problems with quality or if I’ll have trouble selling any of it.”

I help him with his drug sales to the wealthy folks of Tennessee. Tate isn’t aware I help his dad out; I’m sure it would cause a huge uproar. He tries to keep things less criminal and only deals in weapons distribution. He’s pathetic to think one is not as bad as the other.

I guess sex trafficking would be worse, but people are the ones who decide to use drugs or guns. I’m simply the person who finds the drugs they want. He has no idea that his dad is in charge of it all. He thinks it’s only his uncle and the Bratva doing all the dirty stuff.

If he only knew the half of it.

I drive over to Core, Konstantin’s club, and park in the gravel lot by the dumpsters like usual. I walk to the reinforced back door and enter my key code. It beeps and the electric lock disengages.

Entering, I find Hans is at the back door waiting to greet me. He’s a large guy, around six foot or so, and stocky. He has medium brown hair and blue eyes. He’s probably the smartest Russian I’ve ever met, to be honest.

Konstantin is business savvy. Hans’ technical and street smarts mixed in with my knowledge for quality blow and pills makes us a good team. Hans looks behind me then looks me over as he speaks.

“Cameron. How’s it going?” I’ve been noticing lately that his accent is getting weaker.

“I’m good, Hans, and yourself? You’re getting really good at losing the accent. If I wasn’t so used to hearing it, I probably wouldn’t even notice it,” I reply as we walk down the hall to the safe room. The safe room holds the product to be split up, weighed, counted, and sold.

He smiles a little. “Thanks, I’m working on it, and also not being so formal. The English language is so lazy. Americans shortchange the beauty of so many words.”

I agree, so I nod. “Isn’t that the truth? Trust me, the wealthy learn a completely different language than the rest of Americans.”

He just shrugs and enters his code into the new keypad. This keypad takes two codes at a time, so there’s never anyone in there alone.

  Smart fuckers.

I enter mine after Hans’ in order to get the door lock to open. There’s a loud click, and then we’re able to turn the door handle. I enter and my eyes grow as I take everything in.

“Wow, big shipment this time. Damn, this can’t all be blow and X, is it?” I turn and glance at Hans.

I know my eyes must be bugging out a little to him, too, but there must be many kilos of blow, and I don’t know how many pounds of pills. The storage room itself is fairly big at twenty by twenty feet. Most storage areas are only like six by ten feet or so.

He shakes his head and takes in the space. “No, we also had to put a few crates of weapons in here. They wouldn’t fit at the other club. Relax, it’s still the same shipment as your usual, just more for the pill poppers you seem to be getting.”

“Yes, the rich have an acquired taste for pills and cocaine. I like a little X myself, if I’m going to be partying for a few hours, especially if I’m going to fuck. Rolling makes it so much better. You should try rolling sometime, Hans. It’ll give that brain of yours a break.”

His face turns to a look of disgust.

“No thanks. I like knowing what’s happening with my body at all times.” He must get that from being paranoid around so many Mafia members.

I shrug and smile. “Your loss. I’m taking twenty pills for my personal use and two eight-balls of blow. I told Konstantin you would let him know how the product is.”

I open the crates and take inventory. I weigh and sort everything out for dealers to pick up. I put my personal supply to the side.

I bet London will roll if she knows I have some X. Hell she might even like blow. She seems to be pretty wild when we party. If only I could get Tate to do some so he’d relax and get the stick out of his ass.

I look at Hans; he’s standing next to the door and studying each action I make.

“Okay, Hans, everything is all set and ready to go as usual. I’ll text you with the specifics for pick-ups like normal, okay?” I make it to the back door and have to enter my code for it to open so I can leave.

Hans speaks before I touch the keypad, as I get ready to exit the building. “Thanks, Cameron, I will text you soon.” We shake hands and I turn to the door.

I walk out and get in my Porsche to go home.

  ****

“Hey, dumplin’, how was your day today?” I sit next to London on the recliner and pull her onto my lap.

She giggles and squeals a little when I start to squish her into the chair. I do this on purpose, and it makes her laugh every time. I pull her all the way on top of my lap. I wrap my arms around her and kiss her shoulders.

Besides the tank top she was wearing this morning, the only difference is she’s now got on some little yoga type shorts. I notice her shoulders look a little red and it irritates me.

“London, your shoulders are pink. Were you out in the sun again without sunscreen?”

This girl is lucky she didn’t burn with the overcast skies today. She’s too stubborn to listen when I tell her to cover herself up. I may have met her when she wasn’t wearing a lot of clothes, but that was before we were staying together.

She turns toward me, and her eyes light up excitedly. “I was out back playing fetch with Muffin for a while. He was being so silly and chasing after me if I didn’t throw his toys. He got worn out and took a nap on his dog bed, so I came back in after I finished my lemonade,” she says and gives me a little smile.

I huff out a breath at her flippancy. “Honey, please make sure you keep sunscreen on if you’re outside. I’d hate for you to get burned. Even now with the weather cooling off, the overcast sky is even more dangerous.”

Didn’t her parents teach her anything when she was growing up about maintaining her health?

“Okay, Cam, I’ll make sure since it bugs you.”

“Good. Hey, did you end up finding a job?” I rub her thighs. Her skin is always so soft from the shimmer lotion stuff she uses.

I pull her up off my lap and down the hall to my room. I sit down on the bed and tug her down beside me. This job discussion has been an ongoing argument between us.

I grew up in a house where my mother was told to stay home. She wasn’t cooking and cleaning or anything, but my father was expected to take care of her. My mother is always busy with various charities, her group of friends, and attends different functions with my father.

I guess I kind of expec
t London to do the same thing. The few girls I have dated have been wealthy and used to the same lifestyle. I just need to give her time to adapt.

“I was going to look but ended up having lunch with Emily and Avery. Those girls talk my ear off.”

“I told you that you should just concentrate on school and not worry about working right now. You’re staying here with us and have nothing to worry about safety wise or money wise.” I start to kiss her pink shoulders again. It’s one of my favorite places on her—so sexy.

She’s a little curvier than my normal taste, but she makes up for it since she’s usually a lot of fun to hang out with. I’m not used to actually enjoying a female’s company past the bedroom, but I can talk with London for hours or stay up and party together.

“No way, Cam. I’m not going to be stuck depending on my best friend or on a guy. I’m completely done with my classes for this semester, so I have plenty of time to work full-time until next semester starts. I’m grateful y’all are letting me stay here with Emily, but I plan to take over her apartment when she gives in to Tate and fully moves in.”

She’s so stubborn it drives me crazy. According to Emily, she’s tame around me, but not tame enough. I’m used to women just submitting to me, but London insists on fighting me at every turn about things like this. Her independent streak irritates me.

“You can’t be serious, London. You’re seeing me, and you’re not going to be living in that dump.” It must be my tone or something, because it stirs her up.

I see her eyes blaze with anger. “Since when did you become fucking king and get the privilege of telling me where to live? What makes it a dump anyway? You’re so fun sometimes, but other times I swear you need to pull that money wad out of your ass!” she fumes.

I feel like I could pull my hair out. “And you’re infuriating sometimes. Why can’t you just listen to what I tell you? I say it for your own good. The place is a damn dump and in an unsafe part of town. Believe it or not, London, but I have lived here for quite a long time and know the decent areas. And this fucking wad paid for your fucking dinner last night, so be a little grateful that I have it.” She has me so angry but also so turned on.
