My Stepbrother's Baby (Forbidden Secret Book 2)

by Ted Evans

Fitting my hips back between her spread thighs, I bowed my back to lick and nip at her breasts, tugging the nipples with my lips until she was squirming underneath me and making the kind of erotic sounds that shot straight to my balls. I rocked my hips, nudging the head of my cock on her clit, searching until I felt her soft flesh give, her slick walls spreading open for me. I let out a sigh as I slid all the way inside, before pulling out and doing it again.

In the back of my mind, I realized something. There wasn’t any resistance, and I wondered if she wasn’t a virgin, but the thought was gone quickly as I increased the pace of my thrusts.

“Anita,” I groaned her name. “So fucking sexy, so tight around me…”

“Evan!” she cried out my name, and I growled in response.

I kissed her with greedy hunger that didn’t give any quarter as I slammed my cock into her with every thrust of my hips. The room echoed with the sounds of our passion, but I didn’t care, I was too close to the edge.

Growing desperate, I wrapped an arm around her waist, yanked her body hard against mine as I thrust inside, and buried myself as deep as I could go. Anita let out a loud cry, her nails dug into my back as I fucked her, hard and fast. The pleasure built until it was unbearable, and I thought I would lose my mind when I felt her walls start to convulse around me as her body shuddered. Fucking her through her orgasm, I ducked my head into her shoulder and came.

Our bodies rocked together through the overwhelming pleasure, holding on tight to each other. We slumped into the mattress, bodies exhausted, trying to catch our breaths. My cock spilled out of her when I shifted, and we both groaned. The bed was tiny, but I managed to roll us around, so I could hug her against my chest.

“Just for a little bit,” I murmured, knowing I’d have to leave before her Mom got home.

Anita just sighed, snuggling into my chest, and I smiled as my eyes slipped closed.

  Chapter Four

  Anita

I skipped down the steps of my apartment building, humming a tune under my breath. I came to a complete stop when I arrived outside, only to see Evan had parked his car right outside, and his face melted into a wide smile when he saw me.

“Morning, Anita,” he called, pushing off his car and walking over to me.

“What are you doing here?” I blurted out in shock.

He chuckled. “I came to take you to school. I’m just glad I caught you. You have to leave home early because you walk every day, right?”

It was true, but instead of answering, I frowned at him.

“What about you? Wouldn’t your parents wonder about you leaving home this early?”

Evan shrugged, dismissing it. “It’s not a problem. Come on, hop in so we can go.”

I’d realized he did that a lot when it came to his family. He didn’t want to go home early yesterday, either, and he’d been waiting out my detention with me to drive me home the past few weeks. The thought was quickly wiped away, though, when Evan opened the door for me with a flourish and a charming smile, and I giggled as I walked forward to step inside.

He closed the door and went around. He started the car but didn’t put the car in drive, instead he turned to me.

“From now on, I’ll be coming to pick you up for school and drop you off afterwards. I’ll do it every day, okay?”

I nodded my head slowly, unable to form words. My expression must have been love struck as I stared at him because he smirked before pulling out of his parking spot. Through the drive, I snuck glances at him out of the corner of my eye, feeling in seventh heaven with my heart refusing to calm down until we arrived and headed to our separate lockers.

I was dazed through my classes for the whole day. My mind kept returning to last night, no matter how much I tried to focus. I was so lucky no teacher called on me to speak up in class, or I would have been caught in my distraction.

  Last night happened.

I was giddy, and still a little shocked that Evan and I had sex again. This time, he knew exactly who I was, and he still wanted me. It gave me hope that he might not be angry with me when I decided to tell him about the party. Not that I was going to just yet, because if I admitted about that, then I’d have to come out with everything.

  I’m pregnant.

I knew I had to tell him, he would find out one way or the other since it was pretty early in the school year, and I didn’t want to drop out. Someone else I had yet to tell that I knew I had to was Mom, and she was going to kill me, but the fear I had about telling her was different from Evan.

He was paying attention to me, spending time with me, and if last night was any indication, he loved it just as much as I did. I loved it too much to want it to end so soon, so I was shelving telling him the truth for the moment.

  Eventually, though, I had to.

Evan was as popular as always, and I realized it could be helpful. Just thinking of him made my cheeks flush, and I didn’t think I could stand to be around him without giving myself away, so I made sure to avoid him. I even ate outside at lunch, and Hayley just looked at me like I was weird, but she thankfully didn’t ask. I couldn’t talk about it without too much squealing, and it would catch people’s attention.

I was sure a lot of people gave me weird looks that day, though.

By the time school was over, I felt a little exhausted for running all over to avoid Evan, and because my heart had refused to calm down for most of the day, knowing he was close by. The class slowly emptied at the last bell, and I stayed behind, slowly packing my stuff into my bag.

A knock made me lift my head, and Evan was leaning against the doorjamb, grinning at me.

“Are you ready to go?” He asked. “We could stop for another ice cream before I take you back.”

“Sure,” I said, jumping up, and there went my heart again, beating fast in excitement.

If this kept on, I’d have to start worrying about my health.

Mom arrived home a little earlier than usual, so it was a good thing Evan didn’t stick around. I was distracted as we prepared dinner, then moved to sit in the living room and eat. The TV was on, but mostly for background noise, because I doubted either of us was listening.

  “How was school?” Mom asked.

“It was fine, Mom,” I mumbled in between bites.

There was another silence before Mom spoke again.

  “I met someone.”

I looked up at that, a little curious. Mom didn’t talk much about her private life, to the point I was sure she didn’t have one outside of work and looking after me. It was one of the reasons I was so guilty. Mom had me early, so she wasn’t that old, and she was still pretty. She worked herself hard to provide for both of us, and because I understood, I didn’t let myself have time for much play, even if my social life had been livelier in school.

Mom sighed, poking her food. “There’s just one problem. The guy might be married. I shouldn’t worry, though, there are issues in their marriage, and if they get separated then I have a chance…”

I wasn’t paying attention to Mom as she talked. The story seemed like it was a long one, and I never judged what she chose to do with her life, so it didn’t bother me all that much if she was dating a married man. Besides, Evan had been in my mind all day, and the short moment of curiosity passed when I remembered his smile from this morning.

“You deserve to be happy, Mom,” I said, thinking of my happiness, hopefully with Evan.

I deserve to be happy, too.

“Really,” Mom asked, and I thought she sounded relieved.

I nodded distractedly and sent her a smile. “Whatever makes you happy.”

  Chapter Five

  Evan

A loud whistle blew, and I looked up just in time to eat dirt, a bunch of other guys falling with me. I wasn’t even sure if I tripped or if someone dropped me because my head wasn’t in the game.

All of my attention was on Anita.

I hadn't told her I had practice today because I didn’
t have time to, but she should have known, right?

The other thing on my mind, though to a lesser degree, was my parents. Was it just me, or did the fights seem to get much worse recently? I wasn’t sure, and it wasn’t like I could ask, so I kept out of it, but then it had me thinking of spending a night at Anita’s place. I knew I couldn’t, there was no way her mom would allow it, but the thought was nice.

It was that moment of distraction that landed me where I was, on the ground with a lot of weight on top of me that was a little slow to get off.

“What are you guys doing!” Coach practically screamed at us. “Get up and start the play again! Everybody focus, or we’re leaving here after dark!”

There were groans as the other guys moved, but we all knew he wouldn’t do that.

“What the hell was I even doing?” I asked.

Abe was the closest guy to me, and he laughed as he patted my helmet, and I winced when it jostled my brain.

“Were you paying attention when coach lined up practice for us? If you don’t start taking this seriously, he’s just going to keep screaming at you, you know?”

“Keep your head in the game, or you’re gonna hit the ground a lot today,” Mason said with some sympathy before running off.

We rearranged ourselves on the field, and I tried my best to pay attention, or else I’d go home aching for the night, and it was the last thing I needed in the emotionally charged atmosphere at home.

No matter how much I seemed to try, though, even when I put myself out of the line of fire, I still went down, and I wondered if the other guys weren’t just playing a prank on me since there was a lot of laughing going on, but Coach was right there at the edge of the field shouting at us, and coming close when he saw something he wasn’t pleased with.

Like I’d thought, when the practice was almost over, my body was so sore that I wanted to stop, but I knew coach would never allow anyone to stop early just because of a few injuries. I’d feel like I was in hell tomorrow, though.

“Wow, you are a mess, huh,” Abe said.

“You’ve never been this out of shape during practice before,” Mason added. “Don’t tell me it’s because of that girl. You aren’t tired of her yet?”

I froze, then rolled my eyes before deciding to ignore them. It would just encourage them if I talked back. They’d made their thoughts on Anita and my involvement with her pretty clear the past few weeks, and I didn’t want to keep hearing them yap on about it. I went to walk, well more like limp, away, only to have Abe grab my arm.

“No way,” he muttered. “It’s her? There are even more rumors about the two of you going on around school, you know? That you drop her off to and from school every day. How do you even know where she lives?”

“Wasn’t there a cheerleader you liked? All you have to do is crook a finger, and she’ll come running, so why are you wasting your time on a girl like that?”

I pulled my arm out of Abe’s hold, giving them a glare that probably wasn’t all that clear through our helmets.

“You guys better stop talking about that right now,” I warned quietly. “This isn’t the time or the place, and I’m not in the mood.”

Mason snorted. “Look at you, getting all pissy. The rest of us are in the middle of practice; you’re the one that isn’t paying attention. If you don’t want us saying anything, at least do what you’re supposed to be doing, all right?”

“It’ll be over in no time, anyway,” Abe chimed in, walking away. “A cheap love like that can’t last long, she’s probably just a curiosity for you, and you’ll forget her in no time.”

I shot a glare at him, but he had his back to me. Anger like I hadn't felt in a long time hit me. Fueled by the frustration and anxiety I’d been dealing with recently, I went after him. I grabbed his shoulder to turn him around, then threw myself at him, so we both went down. We were wearing our helmets, so I knew better than to try and punch him because I’d be the one hurting.

“Dude, the fuck are you doing!” Abe cursed.

Mason came up behind me to try and drag me up, but I just tripped him, so he ended up on the ground, too. Then, the three of us started tousling like little kids, while I wondered where to hit them or if I even could. I didn’t consider myself friends with them at all, no matter how much time we spent together, but we were still on the same team and we had a game coming up soon. I couldn’t put my teammates down before the game.

“Hey, you three! What the hell do you think you’re doing? Get your asses up right now!”

That shout came from Coach, and it was more like a bellow, making everyone else go still and silent. The three of us quickly untangled and stood up, just in time to watch Coach stomp his way over to us, his face red.

“Do you boys mind letting me know what’s going on here, huh?”

We just stood there; heads ducked and fidgeting while he waited for an answer. The guys didn’t rat me out, but I knew not to be glad about it. Even if they didn’t say, the fact that I was distracted throughout all of practice, then a fight broke out with me and the other two, Coach was going to put all the blame on me.

“Boys!” He boomed, making all three of us, and probably most of the other guys out on the field, jump in surprise. “I asked what is going on here! Someone start talking, or you’re all going to be in trouble! You know we have a game coming up soon, any of you want to get benched, huh? I don’t want idiots on my team.”

I winced and tentatively took a step forward.

“It was my fault, Coach,” I mumbled.

He sighed. “What am I going to do with you, Evan? You’re one of my star players, but you’ve been completely out of it today. So, what is this about?”

I wisely kept my mouth shut. If he knew we were fighting because of a girl, all three of us would get in trouble. Coach liked to win, but he was also pretty strict on his players. I wanted to hit the other two for getting me into this mess when they could have just shut up, but I didn’t dare. Then, the coach said something that had me wincing.

“Evan, stay behind. Everyone else, finish up and get lost.”

  Chapter Six

  Evan

  Those damn traitors.

It was wrong of me to blame the other guys for doing exactly what Coach said, but if there was one thing I didn’t need, it was a pep talk, and that was Coach’s favorite go to when someone on the team was not pulling their weight right.

Still, they cleared away pretty quickly while I was marched into Coach’s office and sat down on an old, ratty sofa while he sat comfortably behind his desk.

“Now, Evan,” he started, linking his hands together and leveling me with a stern look. “Are you going to tell me what was going on with you out there, or do I have to ask?”

  I hesitated. “Um… Coach…”

“Don’t think you’re getting out of this easy, kid. I wasn’t joking out there when I said I’d bench you. Even if you’re a star player, if your head is somewhere else and I let you on that field, not only will our team lose, you can get yourself injured not paying attention. Football is a contact sport, if you head isn’t there with you, you get hurt.”

  “I know, Coach,” I mumbled.

As if to back up his words, the aches in my body flared out, and I tried to stretch my muscles surreptitiously, so he would see my discomfort . I knew I wasn’t fooling him by the unimpressed look he sent me.

“You know you can't do this, Evan.”

“I know, Coach,” I spoke up, straightening my back. “I know I was terrible out there today, but I promise it’s nothing. And about the fight, Abe and Mason just said something that irritated me a little. I’m sorry for instigating a fight in the middle of practice.”

I sat still and waited for him to dismiss me, so I could head out, but a few seconds passed, and I wondered what else he wanted me to say. I’d admitted my fault and apologized.

“Evan, is something wrong?” He asked.

I was surprised at the sudden question, coupled with t
he serious tone and expression, and it took me a while to reply.

  “Everything is just fine, sir.”

“Are you sure?” He pushed. “Nothing is going on at all? Like at home, is everything okay?”

I felt my eyes grow wide, just a little before I controlled the reaction. I wondered why he suddenly brought it up. I didn’t have people over to my house often, and not for the past several months. While our town wasn’t that small, it wouldn’t be hard to bump into familiar people around the area, but Mom and Dad carried themselves well outside of the house as far as I knew. There was no way anyone at school would have found out about what was going on, but the coach wasn’t looking at me like he was just trying to find out.

He looked at me like he knew. I wondered if I’d given myself away, somehow.

“Of course, there’s nothing wrong at home, coach,” I said, huffing a laugh. “I’ve just been under some stress recently, but I swear I’ll sort it out before our next practice. You won't see the mess I was today again.”

“I hope it doesn’t happen again,” he nodded. “Because you know that if it does, I’m going to have to take drastic measures, and I’d hate to do that, Evan.”

  Crap.

“I swear I’ll behave, coach,” I said. “No messing around.”

Football was something I cared about. I didn’t think I would pursue it past college, but it was one thing I was good at, where I wouldn’t get judged. My grades weren’t the best, not only was I average, I managed that only after an all-nighter cramming for a test. It was hard to balance football and my grades, and I’d found that cramming for a test was easier than doing my homework. I had to maintain a C-average, at least, to play football, so I did what I could.

My achievements in football for the past years weren’t good enough to convince my parents of anything, though, so I treated it as a sort of escape. In the past, when I hadn’t wanted to go home it was because I had practice, or I was hanging out with other guys from the team. They’d invite me out, whether or not we were close since we played together, and I had things to do to keep me occupied.
