“Relax! We can talk about this! We can make a deal!” Kimberly yelled in a state of empathy. Hernandez wasn’t willing to make a deal. There were too many people who would want him dead in every prison in Florida.

“No! I’m not going to prison!” Detective Hernandez yelled as he pulled the safety trigger backwards. He was terrified. “I was close. Close to getting away with it. I can’t go to prison,” he thought.

“Drop your damn gun!” Weaver yelled impatiently. James suddenly heard a gunshot from behind the counter where he was hiding.

“Shit!” Weaver and Parker yelled simultaneously. He heard a body drop on his glass center table. He stood up to check who it was. The female FBI agent was beside a dead body.

  Detective Hernandez had committed suicide.

They walked quietly to Nina’s condo. Their conversation on the beach left Tom powerless. He had given up. There was no need to find out his past anymore. “Maybe Nina’s right. I need to start afresh,”

They stood beside each other as the elevator made its way to the tenth floor. Nina pondered. The feeling of losing Tom made her stomach churn. “I couldn’t make him remember. He has no reason to stay anymore,”

She felt empty. Her heart beat became irregular. She managed to walk to her Condo door with Tom beside her. It could be the last day she saw him. She felt uneasy. She unlocked the door and walked in. Tom stood at the door. It was his first time in her apartment. He knew people were looking for him, but had no idea who. Julianna was doing a good job erasing his trails from all traffic CCTV cameras. He always made sure they hung out in public because his enemies were too discreet to attack.

“You’re not coming in?” Nina asked. She felt sick to her stomach and didn’t want him to leave her sight. Tom reluctantly walked in. He briskly glanced at her apartment. It wasn’t what he expected. There was no color and nothing that showed she was a woman. It looked like an executive condo that was ordered from a Better Homes Magazine. The condition of every piece of furniture showed she barely stayed home and she barely had guests.

“Mind if I pour you a drink?” she asked as she opened her wine cabinet.

“No, thank you!” Tom replied, standing by the large window that faced the beach. She poured herself a glass then walked towards Tom. She drank a mouthful, hoping it would cure her pain.

“So, what now? You leave never to return?” Nina asked uncomfortably. Tom turned towards her. It explained her irregular heartbeat. He could tell how she felt. She was anxious, scared and nervous at the same time. Tom nodded. Tears rolled down her eyes to her cheeks.

  “Why!?” she asked.

  “Why? What?” Tom asked.

“Why come back, make me feel this way for you again, and then leave?” Nina asked. She placed her wine glass on the kitchen table, trying her best to hide the tears rolling down her cheeks, from Tom. Tom moved closer to her.

“From what you told me about our relationship in the past, my presence brings nothing but danger to you. I don’t want to see you get hurt,” Tom replied. Nina cried more, this time she was unable to hide it. The tears flowed down her cheeks endlessly.

“I don’t fucking care!” Nina yelled as she swung her hands towards Tom. Tom dodged. She hit the Wine glass and wine bottle. It fell, but Tom caught both before it hit the ground, with ease. His fast reflexes surprised her. Tom placed her wine glass and bottle on the kitchen counter, in a safer spot.

She continued to sob. He finally gathered the courage to hug her.

She resisted, but his grip was firm. His masculine scent made her weak with love. She could never forget how he’d hold her in the past. She could feel his chin on her head. She was as helpless as a newborn waiting to be cared for.

Tom could hear their heart beat in perfect synchrony. She wept uncontrollably. His hug didn’t help the emptiness, it worsened it.

She finally attempted to pull away, but it was pointless, their bodies touched again. Both felt a magnetic pull. She looked up at the tall figure hugging her. He looked down at her. Her lips and smooth skin was all too alluring.

At that very moment, Julianna didn’t matter much to him. Nina was all he wanted. Their lips touched. Her lips had a raspberry flavor he liked and his lips tasted like the beer he had on the beach. The sexual energy intensified. She could feel Tom’s hands on her back making its way slowly to her bosom. He removed her beach cover-up with ease without stopping his firm grip, still kissing her. He could taste the tears on her face and felt guilty for causing it. They could feel a great deal of oneness. Suddenly, Tom pulled away.

  “I don’t think this is a…”

“Shut up, Tom!” Nina replied sternly. She dragged him towards the living room with her lips plunged into his.

“Your memory doesn’t remember me, but your body does,” She replied, noticing the bulge touching her stomach. He chuckled. Like him, she was calculated. She knew exactly where to touch and when to touch. He could tell that they had had sex several times before. She slowly peeled off his clothes with precision till she could feel his bulky muscular structure on hers.

She pulled down his shorts. He lifted her up against the white wall. She felt like a feather in his hands. The erotic energy increased. Tom removed her bikini with one hand and held her up with the other till there was nothing but flesh rubbing against flesh.

She could feel his warm hard skin rubbing against hers. He hadn’t even penetrated her and she felt like she had already had two orgasms. Every inch of her body wanted him.

Tom placed her on the grey furry carpet. He gazed at her magnificent body. Her breasts sat on her chest like art. Her hair rested gallantly on the carpet. Her eyes reminded him of why humanity needed to be good. It was the main thing that stood out to him. Nina gazed into his eyes in awe. She wanted more, but her body felt paralyzed and overwhelmed.

She watched as he pulled down his boxer shorts, hopelessly anticipating what would come next. He was hard. He knelt down on the carpet then leaned his body against hers. He smooched her breasts with his lips, making her nipples sharp and pointy. He kissed her lips carefully like he was tracing a drawing on her lips. She loved the way his hands moved around her body, delicately, like she was fragile. She moaned as his fingers went in between her legs. All her emptiness and pain was gone. She loved that very moment and wished it could last forever.

His hands suddenly rested on her hips. She could tell what was coming. He thrust himself into her. The bulk inside her made her moan with pleasure. She shivered like a cold tree. It felt good and better than anything she had ever felt in her life. It was too unreal and felt like a dream. What if I’m still in a coma after the strange accident on Biscayne Boulevard? She didn’t care. She would rather remain in a coma than wake up to reality.

She groaned as she moved her hips slowly to the rhythm of his thrust. Thirty minutes passed and she was still as wet as ever. He slowly rocked her without hesitating to kiss her lips gently. His eyes never left hers. Her eyes never left his.

She moaned and groaned more. He lifted her up then carried her to her huge king size bed without seizing penetration. She felt like she was floating in bliss. He carefully dropped her on the soft bed as he continued. She couldn’t explain how a man could make her orgasm more than six times in one hour. Her climax was unrealistically long.

His body was strong, his grip was firm, his touch was delicate and his continuous thrust was rhythmic. Tom couldn’t explain the connection he had between Nina and himself. Of course, the techniques he used were techniques he learned from Juliana, a fellow advanced human. He was worried about hurting Nina. Sex with Homo sapiens was different from sex with a homo supreme. The intensity had to be watched. She seemed to be enjoying it. He could read her pheromone signals. Her oxytocin levels were at an all-time high. The feelings they had bottled for so long suddenly exploded. He wanted her more than ever. He made up his mind. He was never going to leave her. He was going to stay with her and protect her even if he couldn’t remember his past. They cl
imaxed together. The feeling was so intense; she passed out with irresistible pleasure.

  Present day

They waited in a black van at the parking lot of Trump Towers. “Nunez Electrical” was engraved on it with a circuit plug logo. It was discreet and simple; enough to hide the FBI surveillance team staking out and waiting for signs of Thomas Olivetti. They had apprehended James Carlton two weeks earlier after Detective Hernandez’s suicide. He was their only outlet to Nina without blowing their cover.

“They’ve been in that apartment for a day and a half. How is that possible?” Kimberly said. “Hmm wonder what they’re doing?” Agent Parker replied sarcastically. They heard a loud bang on the Van door. Agent Parker calmly opened it.

“Brought breakfast and Lunch,” Agent Weaver said, holding up a white plastic bag with Miami subs written on it.

“Hmm Miami Subs,” Agent Parker said as he grabbed it from Agent Weaver. Agent Weaver jumped in the van, closed it behind him and put on a large headphone. They had hacked into the camera of the building’s lobby and were waiting to see or hear any suspicious activity.

“Anything yet?” Agent Weaver asked his two counterparts.

“Nothing so far,” they replied simultaneously as they took a bite of their sandwich.

“I think we should just go in,” Agent Weaver said.

“And what? Arrest him on what charges?” Kimberly asked.

“Uh- how about fraud, terrorism, bombing a plane and killing others in the process to fake a death? Killing members of the Sanchez? Suspected murder of Damon? Hey highway chase gone bad? Plus, you never know, they might have faked his death on that jet plane for insurance purposes,” Weaver replied.

“Oh please! The Olivettis are wealthy. What good does a petty insurance settlement do for their monthly expenses,” Parker joked as he took another bite of his sandwich. Weaver sighed in frustration.

“I have another idea, we can use James Carlton,” Weaver added.

“To do what? We’re lucky that guy’s family isn’t suing the agency for harassment,” Kimberly replied – the only conscience of the group.

“True, but we can use his previous drug charges against him,” Weaver replied. They smiled.

“Well good idea. James will just be a front to see what’s going on in the apartment,”

They slumped on the bed, exhausted. No food. No water. The past thirty six hours was spent on the bed—nothing but sex. Both couldn’t let each other go. Nina’s breast pressed against his chest like soft cushions on smooth rocks.

“What are you?” Nina asked with a smile on her face, she leaned up to look at him, still extremely turned on. She didn’t mind laying on him forever. The sexual energy was still tense despite her deep exhaustion. He had completely drained her. She needed the rest, he didn’t.

Tom chuckled briefly. “What do you mean?”

“C’mon I’ve never heard of a guy who lasts a day and half without food and can still turn a woman on without effort,” she replied. Tom laughed.

“You haven’t met a lot of guys then,”

“Except James, no. Nobody, really. I wasn’t one for relationships,” Nina replied. Tom said nothing. He stared at the ceiling.

“You’re not replying. Are you jealous?” she joked.

“Yes I am actually,” Tom joked. They both laughed. They paused. They listened to each other breathe. It was exhilarating and calming. She felt at peace and had a sense of security.

“You’re really special,” Tom said, turning towards her. Her heart melted. She managed not to blush, hoping his next words were not, “I have to leave.”

Nina smiled. “You are more than special. You make me feel…you make my body feel like…” Nina replied, unable to get the words out. They both laughed. “It’s that good huh?”

“C’mon, tell me, Tom. Where have you been all these years?” Nina asked. Tom, reluctant to answer her question, went on top of her. His whole chest was now against her breasts. His eyes stared deeply into hers.

“How come I can’t read your mind?” He asked, in a serious tone. She didn’t know what he meant.

“Uh cos I’m special?” she joked. She didn’t take his question seriously. He didn’t respond. He was hard again. He slowly inserted himself inside her. Shock filled her face as her body began to tremble once more. He was like a phone battery that never died.

“You aren’t tired,” she said, half moaning. Tom smiled as he rocked her gently. She touched his face. Deep behind his smile, he seemed sad.

“You kissed me and you still can’t remember?” She whispered. Tom smiled.

“Seems life isn’t a fairytale, the kisses didn’t make a change,” he said as they moved to the rhythm of each other. The slight moaning continued. He could feel her breasts jiggle on top of his chest. Nina frowned. She wanted him to have what he wanted. Still, he seemed satisfied and happy to be with her.

“I have this feeling for you I can’t explain,” Tom said in a low voice.

“I know,” she replied, unwilling to have a conversation during the peak of a potential climax.

“The way you look into my eyes – like you’re searching for something you can’t find,” Nina added as she slowly moaned. Tom said nothing as Nina bit her lip with pleasure.

“Promise me you’ll never leave again,” She whispered. Tom nodded. “I promise,” he replied almost instantly and automatically. She moaned again. She giggled.

“Seriously, the way you touch me, it’s like you’re not human,”

“If only you knew,” Tom thought.

Just then, they heard a knock on the door. Tom stopped.

“No, don’t stop! Whoever is at the door doesn’t matter. They can wait,” Nina replied. Tom could hear the incoherent thoughts of the person at the door. He jumped up.

“It’s James,” Tom said. Nina sighed in frustration.

“James? What the hell is he doing here? Wait…how can you tell it’s James?” Nina asked curiously and frustrated. She wanted Tom to herself for the next hundred years of her life.

“That’s not important,” Tom replied as he wore his shorts. He went to the bathroom, splashed some water on his face and brushed his hands through his hair as he stared into the mirror. Nina put on Tom’s shirt and a new pair of underwear as she made her way to the door. She looked through the peep hole. “Shit it’s really him! What the hell is James doing here?”

Fifty feet from the FBI van, another person stalked Tom’s stalkers. The Chrysler was black with darkly tinted windows. It was impossible to see through. She was cool, calm and calculated. Her eyes swept the environment for any signs of danger. So far, the FBI agents in the van didn’t seem like a threat. Julianna observed James walk out of the FBI van. He made his way into the building. Her sub-human hearing made it easy for her to hear every conversation in the Van.

“All you need to do is get in the apartment and see if Tom is still there. We will be listening with this device. If he is, persuade him to leave the apartment. We will handle it from there,” Kimberly said to James Carlton.

Julianna calmly picked up her cell phone to call Tom. He wasn’t picking up. “His phone must be on silent,”

She had two options; kill the agents in the van or rush upstairs to alert Tom. The latter was too risky. Killing FBI agents, although easy, will raise a lot of questions and unnecessary investigations. Especially FBI agents assigned to the Olivetti case.

“Shit Tom! Get out of there,” She said to herself as she slammed her fist on the steering wheel in frustration, hoping Tom could see his future. There were no signs.

She couldn’t sit in the car anymore. She got out of the car. Dressed in tight jeans, a green tank top and a brown leather jacket, she briskly walked into the building, unnoticed by the Agents.

“What are you doing here?” Nina asked as she opened the door. “Babe, I Just came to see you…you know, apologize for what I did and all,” James Carlton said as he stormed into the apartment in a sta
te of frenzy. Nina was scared and disgusted. “Get out! I didn’t say you should come in,” Nina replied. James ignored her. He looked around for signs of Tom. Finally, he looked at Nina.

“Whose shirt is that?” James asked. Nina ignored him. He scoffed, turned around and paced around the room nervously. A rush of Jealousy rose through his chest.

“You slept with a guy you barely know!? He is wanted by the FBI, you filthy whore!” James yelled. In seconds, he felt a hand on his neck. It happened to fast. He gasped for air. With unbelievable speed, Tom held him up effortlessly by the neck as James struggled to breathe.

“You do not call her a whore! Ever!” He said in a state of anger. His voice sounded like thunder. Nina was terrified. Her hands were on her mouth as she watched in horror. James couldn’t defend himself. His legs dangled in the air rigorously as Tom went into his mind. He was surprised he didn’t see it coming.

The past thirty six hours of sensual sex had clouded his mind and ability to see the future. It was worse than he thought. The illuminati had told him reasons why some abilities could be blocked; overwhelming emotion, unbalanced energy and the effect of a more superior homo supreme.

He could block everyone he had come into contact with, but he never thought he would be a victim of blocked abilities, until Nina came along. Tom stared at the horror on Nina’s face then faced James. His face was blue and almost cold.

Finally, Tom dropped James on the floor then backed away. James inhaled deeply. Air flushed his lungs like a sudden cold breeze in the hot Desert. He was terrified by the speed and strength Tom possessed.

“Now, apologize to her!” Tom’s thunderous voice added. Nina was standing by the door, in awe and pity.

“I – I – I’m sorry,” James said. His legs wobbled in fear. His throat felt sore and he could tell he was about to have a minor bathroom accident.
