My Daddy Is a Hero 02

He buried his fingers to the hilt inside her body. It caused him to groan when he felt her pussy contract around the digit and her hips pumped against his hands. She was wet to the point that it ran down his fingers as he thrust them inside her. He pushed deeper, and Noelle cried out in pleasure. Her hands clutched at his shoulder as her body shook.

  “David, I’m—!”

She didn’t get to finish the sentence, nor did he need to hear the words. He knew her body as if it was a piano he tuned himself. He watched her tremble and her hips moved restlessly as she found her bliss. He found the spot buried inside her pussy and he fucked her with his fingers relentlessly until she cried out and her pussy clenched around them.

She came twice in succession and her body released its juice against his hand. Her tiny moans of pleasure were driving him crazy. He wasn’t done yet. David had to feel her, needed and craved it like a drowning man would crave air. He lay next to her and pulled her into his arms. Their kiss was fierce and hot, tongues dueled and parried, wildly seeking as their lovemaking became primal. He rolled and pinned her beneath him and in one smooth thrust he filled her with his cock. Her pussy sheathed his thickness like a velvet glove. He gripped her hips and plunged inside her, losing himself and all thought while they caught the rhythm of sexual madness.

“Jesus!” He said the word harshly as her slick wetness took him deeper.

Noelle held on to his shoulder and pulled herself close to him so she could kiss his neck. She repeated his name over and over again as their pace became a merciless race to the finish line. David pushed her back against the pillows. He lowered his head to take one of her nipples in his mouth while they moved. He was reward by her low cry of pleasure.

  “Now?” he asked urgently.

“Yes, yes, yes!” she responded breathlessly. Her eyes met his and he lost himself in her chocolate gaze.

Their harsh breathing filled the room; his hands pulled her to him to meet the thrust of his steel hard cock. They both went over the edge into orgasms that left them panting and unable to move. He heard a buzzing in his hears after the intensity of his release. He hoped to hell he wasn’t crushing her, because he could hardly move. Her hand trailed down the curve of his spine and he heard her giggle beneath him.

“What’s so funny, huh?” He kissed her hard. “You like knowing you can make me lose time and space when we make love?”

He rolled and brought her close to his side. Noelle moved to lay on her belly and looked at him. “You do the same to me, and I was thinking that if I said I was ravenously hungry, if you would think I’m rude.”

David laughed. “After this you deserve my patented Cutter pancakes.”

“Its only five in the morning,” she said as he sat up in bed.

“I get up earlier than this most mornings.” He leaned over and gave her a kiss. ‘You go back to sleep and I’ll get breakfast ready for all of us.”

“I might get used to this,” she teased.

“I hope you do,” David replied, meaning every word.

He watched her snuggle under the blankets again and he went into the bathroom to take a quick shower. By the time he came into the bedroom she was asleep. He went out to the kitchen and opened the blinds that covered the sliding door to reveal the sky. The darkness was being chased away with tinges of light blue, heralding the sunrise that was soon to come. The coffee pot dribbled out its first rich cup, and David stepped out to the patio to watch the night turn to day. His children and the woman he loved soundly slept. He smiled, feeling a sense of completion and wholeness that was missing from his life for a long time. He did a little fist pump of happiness before heading back into the kitchen to make Cutter pancakes.

  Chapter Five

Another week was in full swing, and on a Wednesday when Principal Stewart should be looking into the new school trip requests she was taking a meeting. She looked across her desk at the woman who sat with her hands on the shiny leather of a designer bag. If there was ever a wave of dislike that could wash over a person, Principal Stewart just felt it. She knew this kind of woman, who thought she was a social elite and looked down her nose at everyone else. Right now she wore a serene smile that didn’t carry to her eyes. She probably looks down her nose at me too, the principal thought, but kept that to herself. She would be courteous enough to listen to Mrs. Barb Jennings before she kicked her out on her ass. She knew the name. It was on the list of people who could not pick up the Cutter twins.

“Thank you for taking the time to see me, Principal Stewart,” Barb said.

“Well you said you had something important to discuss with me, so I made the time,” Principal Stewart said. “What can I do for you, Mrs. Jennings?”

“It’s about some impropriety being shown in the behavior of one of your teachers,” Barb replied. “Noelle Cherise I believe her name is, and she teaches Kindergarten.”

“Has she hurt one of the children or done something in public I should be aware of?” Principal Stewart asked. She knew Noelle would do nothing of the sort but let the scene play out.

“No.” Barb leaned forward as if telling some of the dirtiest gossip in town. “She is having a relationship with my ex son-in-law. I cannot tell you how embarrassing that is!”

“Why would it be, Mrs. Jennings., Your daughter passed three years ago and your son-in-law is a fine man,” Principal Stewart said.

“You must understand that when our daughter married him he became a man of certain standing, and even though she is no longer with us we expect him to carry himself in a way that dignifies our family name,” Barb explained. “To have him running around town with someone like Ms. Cherise is just not something we care to see.”

Principal Stewart felt a familiar bitter taste in her mouth. She was raised in the times where tensions were high Georgia and a community could turn on its ear when a family of a certain color moved in. Her father raised her not to see color or social standing and stood with African Americans to fight for their rights. To have this woman speak about Noelle like she was nothing struck her wrong. She had no time for elitists who thought that they were better than anyone else. Let alone to meddle in affairs that weren’t their own.

“I don’t understand what you want me to do. I see no problem with Noelle seeing Lieutenant Cutter in the least. I think they would make a very cute couple,” Principal Stewart said. “Please make your point, Mrs. Jennings. I find my time has suddenly become very short.”

She saw Barb Jennings’ eyes flash with anger, yet she kept her voice passive and sweet. “I would like for you to speak to your employee about her role in David and the childrens’ lives. In return I can make sure that certain charities I am involved with see your school in a favorable light, and their donations could do much to improve this school.”

“So let’s put this right on the table. You’re asking me to tell Noelle to stop seeing David and put a stop to whatever they may be building, and in return you’ll make sure that this school is knee deep in glue sticks and construction paper?” Principal Stewart asked.

Barb Jennings thinned her lips in disapproval but nodded. “Essentially, yes.”

“Well then let me give you an answer.” Principal Stewart put her hand on her desk and stood slowly. “I remember a time when the people in the town lived on two sides of an invisible line, and I love the fact that modern times has changed so much that the color of a person’s skin doesn’t forbid who you can fall in love with. I also remember a time where people of color sold out the darker ones so they could gain favor in a racist community. Mrs. Jennings, speaking to you right now takes me back to the bad old days.”

“Principal Stewart, I don’t think this has anything…”

Principal Stewart raised her hand. “You will allow me to finish, since I’ve heard all I need to hear. You would forsake your son-in-law and grand children’s happiness for your own agenda? This is why you’re not allowed to pick them up from school. Instead of honoring your daughter’s memory, you bet
ray it. And yet you don’t seem to see how alone you and your husband will be at the end of this. You’re no better than Noelle, and I refuse to even consider what you ask.” Principal Stewart stood proud and she watched anger play across the face of a woman who thought she could buy her way. “I would rather use what money my husband left to me to fund this school on my own than to help the likes of you. I’ll ask you to take yourself from my office immediately and do not step on school grounds again. I’ll have to remember a few of those charities you’re on that we share an interest in and take myself off them if they prefer your kind of help. Good day, Mrs. Jennings. We have nothing left to say to each other.”

Mrs. Barb Jennings, wearing her Chanel suit and carrying a bag that could pay six months rent for some of her less fortunate students, got up and left. How dare she think that I would be so easily bought? Principal Stewart fumed. The woman could not get over on David or Noelle so she decided to be a snake in the grass and try to destroy a career. Principal Stewart hired Noelle because she cared about her students, and when Lieutenant Cutter came in to the school for the reunion with his children, she saw the spark between the two of them. She remembered that spark when she first met the late Mr. Stewart and would never use any influence she had to stop anyone from having what she was blessed to receive for over forty years before his death. She wanted her school to have integrity and her students to have the same. She could never have taken that money and look at herself in the mirror again.

Principal Stewart pressed the button of the intercom on her desk. “Ms. Dempsey, can you send a student to bring Ms. Cherise to my office?”

“Yes ma’am,” the voice came back.

Principal got up and went to her electric teapot and plugged it in to make her self a cup of soothing chamomile tea. She sat back at her desk to wait for Noelle’s arrival. She would give her the heads up and hopefully she and Lieutenant Cutter could face down the Jennings together.

“You’re kidding me, she did what?” David’s eyes narrowed in anger as Noelle talked to him.

“Right to the school, David, and tried to bribe Principal Stewart to force me to stop seeing you or lose my job, basically.” Noelle paced back and forth. “She offered financial incentive for the school if she made it happen.”

“I met the principal more than once. I doubt she fell for it,” David said.

“Of course not. Doreen Stewart doesn’t follow anyone, she let Barb get two cents worth and kicked her out of the office and then called me,” Noelle said. But it’s my job. What if Doreen was the kind to fold? My job could’ve been in jeopardy because of her wanting to control you and her grandchildren. I swear, if she was in front of me right now, oooh I would punch her.”

David had no doubt she would if given a chance. He saw the fiery side of her at the birthday party, and now again when Barb overstepped her bounds. They loved each other, and while he wanted to be foolishly in love they both decided that for now it was best if they still took it slow so the children could become accustomed to her new role in their lives. She wanted to keep her own home for now, even though he would have no problem with her moving in. Noelle would be spending more time at his house and while they would have date nights and such, being with the children was both their priorities.

David could already see how much she loved them and they did her. Andy and Annette didn’t even question when they sat together in the living room and he explained that Noelle would be more than their teacher. Andy whooped thinking it would get him out of homework, while Annette was thrilled that there would be someone around her who actually did girl things. After they set Andy straight about his homework still being a requirement, hugs were exchanged and they had dinner together. It felt perfect and right, and he would be damned if he let Barb and Jim ruin the happiness of his family.

“No need to bruise those gorgeous fingers on her darling.” David caught her hand and kissed it gently. ‘I’ll call my lawyer tomorrow and see if anything can be…” The TV was on since he liked to watch the evening news, and the newscaster caught his attention.

“Tonight at the main library of FultonCounty the unveiling of the new children’s center will take center stage. One of the key members of the Coalition to Enhance Learning, Mrs. Barb Jennings, will be the key speaker and cut the ribbon.”

“My God, is her name really Barb?” Noelle asked frustrated. “We can’t even watch the news without her butting in.”

“She had it legally changed from Barbara years ago,” David replied. He grabbed her hand and pulled her down to his lap, kissing her hard before smiling widely. “I think my mom can babysit the kids tonight. Would you like to take in a library event?”

She looked at him curiously. “What are you up to, Lieutenant Cutter?”

“You’ll see, baby doll. Go get your pretties on and come back to my place. We’re going to be on TV.” David stood and twirled her around before setting her on her feet.

She laughed and it made his heart lighter. There was no way he was going to let them ruin what he was building with Noelle. They wanted trouble, well he was going to give it to them in spades.

Later that night holding her hand and in his dress blues they walked up the tall steps to the main library. He made sure he was crisp and his shoes were supremely polished, he was going to make a splash and it was best he look good.

“You ready for this, sweetheart?” David asked.

“To get her to leave us alone and show her up in the public for the bitch she is, yep I’m ready,” Noelle replied and sighed. ‘I don’t mean to sound so vengeful, but really she hates me because I’m darker skinned than she is. Plus I seemed to have been born with no pedigree because of it. She tries to ruin my teaching career and blackmail the principal. She needs to be held accountable and let everyone see her true nature. Not only for us, but for anyone she has convinced that you’re a bad dad and you’re keeping the kids from her.” Noelle cupped his cheek. “You’re the most amazing father.”

He kissed her and they walked hand in hand into the event. Barb was at the podium speaking and her eyes widened just a little when she saw them standing there. “Without further adieu, let’s open this new wing for all the wonderful children in Georgia.”

“All the wonderful children? Or maybe just the ones who you deem appropriate?” David called, and everyone turned when his voice echoed through the main hall of the library.

“David, this is not the time or the place. We’ll talk after the opening.” She smiled and batted her lashes. “Now everyone, the ribbon is about to be cut and…”

“I’m not here to talk to you, Barb, or you, Jim, so you stand right there like a good puppy next to your wife,” David said loudly. “If the reporters and the citizens of Fulton County want to hear the truth, they’ll listen to me, and if not, well they can go back to your little ribbon cutting and I’ll walk out. But I think they need to know exactly what kind of woman runs the charity that built this children’s wing.”

“David, don’t do this!” The panic in Barb’s voice was evident.

He threw a cold look at her. “You started this years ago, and this is for Shauna and my children.

The reporters in the crowd surged toward him yelling questions, and he raised a hand to quiet them. With a crisp salute he began to speak. “My name is Lieutenant David Cutter, and I’ve been in the marines for ten years. In that time I married an amazing woman who happened to be the daughter of Barb and Jim Jennings, and we had two amazing children, twins. But it’s not about that, it’s about how these people tried to take my children away from me after my wife died and I had to fight them in court. It’s about the way they continue to try to manipulate and coerce people to gain what they want.”

“Do you have evidence of this?” One reporter demanded to know.

“I have people who will back my statements, including how she tired to bribe the judge in the custody case,” David said. “It’s time she answers for all the wrong she does. It
s about the prejudice Barb has against people of her own color because she thinks they are less than her. She was willing to bribe the principal of my children’s school to gain her way. To have the woman I love now fired because she didn’t want her to be in our lives. And how she was wiling to use various charity monies to attain her goals. One must wonder how many times she’s done it.”

The questions were fired out as he told his story. Barb and Jim tried to slink away, but a reporter saw them and started the rush forward to ask them questions about charity funds and everything David had claimed. Jim looked pale and Barb pushed her way through the crowd trying to get to the door. The children’s wing would probably have to have another opening ceremony. But at least it would be by someone who deserved to stand for children. David had no doubt that now internal audits would be called for in the various charities that she headed. He could almost hear Shauna laugh in victory for what he did. They would be spending months trying to get out from under the scandal.

“Take a walk with me,” he said and took Noelle’s hand.

“I can’t say that wasn’t fun,” Noelle said as they walked down the block under the lights that glittered in the small trees lining the sidewalks.

“I enjoyed it completely and I’m glad that Barb will be spending too much time covering her ass to bother us,” he replied. “I’m glad it’s over.”

They came to a small park where there were benches and a gazebo covered in flowers. The night smelled sweet, like only Georgia could, and David pulled her into his arms for a long, deep kiss. This was the perfect place and everything inside him screamed for him to do it. He got to one knee in his dress blues and looked up into the face of the woman he loved.

“You’re amazing, that’s the only word to describe you. Well, actually more than one but that encompasses everything,” David said. “I want you to be my wife and the mother to my children, the ones we have now and more in the future. But mostly I want to you to love me like you do and to let me cherish you for the rest of our lives. Marry me, Noelle.”
