  About the Author

  Richard Miniter is the author of two New York Times bestsellers on terrorism, Losing bin Laden and Shadow War. He has been published in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and The Christian Science Monitor as well as The Atlantic Monthly, Reader’s Digest, The New Republic, and National Review. Previously he worked as an editorial writer for The Wall Street Journal in Brussels and as an investigative reporter for the Sunday Times of London, where he shared an award for investigative reporting on the 9/11 attacks. Later, he was editorial page editor of The Washington Times.

  He is a regular guest on Fox News, CNN, C-SPAN, MSNBC, and Al Jazeera.
