Following the simple directions above, my turkey always turns out tender, moist, and delicious!

I don't have a roaster, so I buy an aluminum throw-away pan and oven bags each year. We roast the turkey, then fix several pans of chex mix... then roast another turkey at Christmas – and toss the pan.

  HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

... and a time to every purpose under the Heaven.

  Ecclesiastes 3:1

  AUTHOR INTERVIEW

Q: What was your inspiration for writing Pumpkin Pie Mystery?

A: Thanksgiving is one of my most favorite times. I wanted to share this holiday with my readers. What better way than to celebrate two marriages and to visit everyone in our beloved Abbott Creek community.

Q: What do you hope your readers will take away from reading Pumpkin Pie Mystery—or others in the series?

A: That by working together (and trusting God), our problems can be worked out.

Q: Will there be more books in the Amish Sweet Shop Mystery series?

A: Oh, yes. I’m working on book five now, titled Chocolate Truffle Mystery, which I hope will be released next year.

Q: What does your home look like?

A: My home is slowly taking on a holiday look... I have my Christmas tree up, so decorating can be done the week of Thanksgiving. This year we're putting up outdoor lights and decorations, too. . . to share the joy of Christmas with others.

Q: What is another favorite Bible verse and why?

A: Below is another one of my favorites. . .

“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.” ~Ephesians 4:32

Q: Do you have a favorite scene in your newest release?

A: My favorite scene is when Amelia and Andrew return. . . and surprise the girls.
