Bastard Page 19

He’s smothering me with kisses, not giving me an inch to breathe. He lets go of me, only to take off his own shirt, dropping it to the floor. Only his tie is left hanging around his neck. What appears underneath has me gasping for air. He’s ripped, six-pack and all, a delicious V-shape disappearing into his pants. He’s muscular as hell, and it’s making me even more hot and bothered.

  “Holy crap …” I mutter.

He flashes a cocky smile, smashing his lips onto mine again. He pulls me along toward his bed, tugging the zipper on my back. The dress falls down, but I don’t even realize it because his kisses are just that good. It’s hard to admit because I hate how he treats me, but at the same time, I can’t get enough of this. Fuck no, I don’t want it to stop, either.

Next thing I know, I’m on the bed in just my bra and panties, and he’s crawling on top of me like a real lion.

“I don’t understand …” I murmur as he starts kissing my legs. I look down at him, getting flustered when I realize he’s looking at my partially naked body, which isn’t all that flattering.

“Isn’t it obvious?” he says, dragging his lips up my thighs, making me moan. “I want you.”

He leaves a trail of kisses up my stomach and to my chest, hovering close to my face. I feel myself getting red again.

“Oh god, but why? I don’t understand. I thought you said—”

“Shh.” He places a finger on my lips. “Enough talking for today.”

Leo removes his finger and replaces it with his mouth.

Well, that shut me up all right.

I don’t know why I’m letting him ravage my body and talk to me like this, claiming me as if I can’t say anything back … oh, who am I kidding, I can’t. This is what I’ve wanted all along, ever since he started teasing me, and oh boy, it’s so not what I expected. It’s even hotter than I imagined. I’m not prepared for the exquisite sight of his rippling body as he leans up to unbuckle his belt.

“You’ve been such a fucking distraction all this time … I’m not going to hold back any longer.”

“Hold back?” I whimper, as he loops his belt through the holes.

“And you call me an asshole?” He raises a brow. “I’ve seen the way you react to my flirting. You want this. Badly. So bad, you’re even angry at me for not giving it to you.”

  “What?” I exclaim.

And then he grabs my wrist and pins it above the bed. “You heard what I said.”

He wraps the belt around my wrist and pulls it tight. “What are you doing?” I ask, my heartbeat rising.

“Doing what you want,” he says. He bends over until his forehead touches mine, his fingers grasping the bed tight. “Your emotions are all over the place, Sam. I think it’s time I got them under control.”
