The Flyer (The Flyer Series Book 1) Page 33

by Frédérick S. Parker

“Wow.” He sounded a little out of breath. “I just had an amazing dream. It was so vivid.”

  “What was it?”

He paused. “We were intertwined. Like one being, one body. Your pleasure was mine and mine yours. For a moment, I understood what you feel when I’m inside you.” He looked at me. “Does that make sense?”

  I nodded. “I understand.”

Aaron’s gaze fell to his dick where a pearly bead still lingered. “Did I cum in my sleep?”

  “Yes.”

“Wow, it’s been a while since that’s happened.”

My cheeks flushed. Should I tell him? No. It was too weird. Instead, I turned my focus to the two belts that were still strapped around my chest. They had kept my wings in all night. Apart from a dull ache in my back, I felt fine. As the straps fell away, I turned my attention back to Aaron. He was absently running his fingers across his belly, his eyes glued to my cock. As if in a trance, I watched him rub his swollen middle, my mind spiraling into impurity. I’d just came inside him and I already wanted more. I was so wrapped up in thought, it took several seconds for me to realize I was gawking. Looking up, I found Aaron staring straight at me. He saw the look in my eyes. The intense lust, need, desire, etc. He knows how much his body turns me on. With a seductive smile, he reached down and gave his abdomen a firm smack. My dick jumped, pulsing against my belly in mere seconds. I wanted to be inside him so badly it hurt.

“Don’t do that!” I hissed, struggling to control myself.

  “Why not?”

  “It’s not…I don’t…”

“I’m in the mood for some crazy fucking.”

  I shook my head. “I don’t think that’s a good idea.”

Aaron made a face. “Why not?”

Crap! How do I get around this? My once mild guilt had become ravenous. “I’m not in the mood.”

My boyfriend shrugged. “That massive erection you’re sporting begs to differ.”

“My dick doesn’t always know what’s best.”

“Come on!” he cooed, stroking his belly. “I need that beast inside me.”

I wanted to object, but as he refastened the belts around my chest, my resolve was rapidly deteriorating. Once the straps were in place, he went back to caressing his girth and I lost it. Grabbing his ankles, I placed them on my shoulders and lifted his ass up off the mattress. Pulling him toward me, I simultaneously drove forward. There was no cry of pain this time. After having me inside him all night, he was primed and ready. As I plowed into my boyfriend again and again, I got lost in the look in his eyes, his whimpers and moans of pleasure. It wasn’t long before my orgasm overtook me and I came for the second time that morning. And, thanks to the belts strapped around my chest, my wings stayed buried. Fearful he wouldn’t come before I finished, I removed one hand from Aaron's ass and massaged his balls. They immediately tightened up and his climax crashed through him. His dick sprayed him in the face as it release jet after jet of seed. As the last of my orgasm slipped away, I reached down and stroked his belly.

In the shower, I tenderly and tentatively rubbed soap over my boyfriend’s body. His arms, chest and abdomen. Even now, he still seemed surprised at how beautiful I found him. He watched silently as I worked the bubbles over his skin. When we were both washed and dressed, we returned to his bedroom. Collecting his keys from his desk, Aaron’s eyes went over to his bed.

“Man, I don’t know how I’m ever going to get that clean.”

I too looked over at the sheets which were spotted with all our fluids. “I could bring some cleaner over from my world. It works wonders.”

“Oh, really?” he raised a curious eyebrow. “An alien cleaning agent?”

I nodded. “How do you think the mat in our cabin stayed so nice?”

Aaron grinned broadly. “I never thought about that.” he paused. “So, when do you want to start the search?”

  “The search?”

“Yeah,” he said as if it were obvious. “Classes don’t start for about a month and a half so I’m completely free.”

“Sorry, what are we talking about?”

“You know, for the genetic suppressant.”

“You’re offering to help me look for one?”

He raised a perplexed eyebrow. “You asked for my help and I agreed. You don’t remember this?”

  “Was it last night?”

“Yeah, right before we went to sleep.”

“I blacked out again. I don’t remember what happened.”

“Maybe you should get that checked out,” my boyfriend said, concern mounting in his eyes.

  “Maybe.”

“So, does the request still stand?”

“Yeah. I’d love your help, but right now I want to take you out. We’re way overdue.”

Half an hour later, we sat across from each other at a pizza place trying to come up with ways of getting a hold of cerium and europium. After studying his phone for several seconds, Aaron began to speak. “According to this, cerium and europium are found in monazite sands. The deposits in India are particularly rich in monazite.”

  “What’s that?”

  “What’s Monazite?”

  “No, what's India.”

My boyfriend cast me a look. Surprise quickly shifted to neutrality. “A country.”

Shit. My face grew hot. “So, uh, are we planning a trip?”

“Not sure,” he muttered, his eyes returning to his cellphone. “I don’t know how hard this stuff is to collect. Here is says cerium is commonly used in aluminum alloys and stainless steel. Hmm...” he continued to scroll down. “I guess that’s something.” He looked like he was about to say more when his phone buzzed. Reading the text, his ears turned pink.

  “What is it?” I asked.

“I kind of bragged about you at Tyler’s drag party the other night. Now my friends won't leave me alone.”

“You mentioned me at the party?”

He gave me a sheepish nod. “I had to. My ex made a snarky comment about my weight. I had to put him in his place. Long story short, they want to meet you.” I nodded thoughtfully. “Of course, you don’t have to if you don’t want to.” Aaron quickly added. “I can tell them to get lost.”

I shook my head. “No, I’d like to meet your friends. When and where?”

“Right now,” my boyfriend replied, studying his phone. “They’re at the mall.”

“Okay.” I snatched up the last slice of a twelve inch New York style pizza. “Let’s go.”

When we arrived at the mall, Aaron’s friends were waiting outside a hair salon. As we approached, I examined each one in turn. There were four of them. The first was a slender guy with bubblegum pink hair, tight clothes, eyeliner and an assortment of flashy jewelry. To his left stood a muscular black guy with a friendly smile. There were two more guys. One was kind of on the skinny side and the other had carrot red hair.

“Where’s Kay?” Aaron asked as he approached his friends.

“No idea,” the one with bright pink hair said, casting me a curious look. “Ever since she got together with what’s his face, she’s been a total ghost.”

My boyfriend clearly wanted to discuss this further, but his friend had already moved on. “So, is this him?” he looked me up and down.”

  “Yep,” Aaron replied proudly.

“My god, he’s tall,” the guy with the bubblegum pink hair exclaimed, his eyes wandering up my body. “And gorgeous! Aaron, you really picked a winner!”

My boyfriend smiled, looking faintly smug. “Uriah, this is Tyler.”

I raised an eyebrow as if to say you’re ex and Aaron nodded. Looking his ex up and down, I couldn't help the twinge of jealousy. The guy was a lot better looking than I'd imagined. A living painting. But what struck me most was the fact that he and I were polar opposites. Not just in style, but also in flamboyancy. Does Aaron have a type? Surely not. He's with me. Still...

Stemming the paranoia, I gave Tyler a polite smile. “At last we meet. I
’ve heard so much about you.”

He ran bejeweled fingers through his bright pink hair, a rosy hue tinting his cheeks. “Only good things, I hope.”

I didn’t respond as Aaron introduced me to the others. “This is Charles.” he gestured to the black guy. “That’s Daniel and the one over there is Brandon.” I shook each of their hands in turn, smiling politely. Daniel was the skinny one and Brandon was the redhead. He smiled shyly up at me when I shook his hand.

“So, how did you two meet?” Charles asked, looking excitedly back and forth between us, his dark eyes glittering.

“Chandelle’s Bar & Gallery,” Aaron replied.

“Downtown?” Tyler made a face. “What were you doing in there?”

My boyfriend didn’t respond immediately, looking a little uncomfortable. Did his friends not know how depressed he’d been? Judging by Tyler’s laid back demeanor, I’m guessing not.

  “Soul searching,” Aaron finally replied.

“What do you do there?” Brandon asked softly, his eyes fixed on me.

  “I was a dishwasher. I don’t work there anymore.”

Tyler laughed. “What was a gorgeous thing like you doing in the back washing dishes?”

  “Making money,” I said simply.

“You should’ve been a waiter,” Charles said, licking his bottom lip. “You’d have make a killing in tips.”

I shrugged. “Not my skill set.”

“No,” Tyler said, giving my body another penetrating look. “You should be a model. There, you’d make a killing.”

“Okay, hold on,” Aaron interjected. “Uriah isn't interested in modeling.”

“Who isn’t interested in modeling?” His ex made a face that suggested such an idea didn’t exist in his world.

“Me,” I replied, taking my boyfriend’s hand. “I was thinking of getting into transportation.”

“Transportation?” Tyler looked floored. “As in public transportation? As in driving a bus?” He said the word bus as if it left an unpleasant taste in his mouth.

“Actually, Uriah prefers flying,” Aaron replied, casting him a mysterious smile.

“You want to be a pilot?” Daniel looked impressed.

“Something like that.” I liked him. I could tell by the way he regarded my boyfriend that they were good friends.

“Doesn’t that take years of training?” Tyler asked, wrinkling his nose. His ex on the other hand, not so much. Why they still hung out was beyond me.

“Uriah is very smart,” Aaron said. “And a fast learner. He can do whatever he wants.”

“How long have you two been together?” Brandon asked shyly.

“Two months,” my boyfriend said promptly and I figured he wasn’t going to mention the month off we took. I spent the next hour getting to know Aaron’s friends. Tyler and Charles talked a lot. Mainly about looks and fashion. I could definitely see what Aaron meant about him and his ex being polar opposites. I’d never encountered a guy that flamboyant before. He also didn’t have any problem making suggestive comments where I was concerned. The fact that I was with Aaron didn’t faze him in the slightest. My boyfriend didn’t appear bothered by this. On the contrary, every time Tyler cast an adoring look my way, Aaron seemed to puff up a little more.

Daniel and Brandon didn’t talk as much, but they did seem just as enamored as Tyler. Out of the corner of my eye, I’d catch them checking me out. Finding some empty tables in the foodcourt, we hung out until my back began throbbing and I had to excuse myself. As I hurried to the bathroom, I noted that the pain was worse than usual. When I let my wings out, the discomfort faded, but it didn’t completely go away. After ten minutes, I hesitantly tried to retract them while crossing my fingers. To my relief, they disappeared, but the pain never left. That can’t be good. Returning to where the others were seated, I gave Aaron a pointed look.

“Well, guys,” he said, getting to his feet. “Now that you know my boyfriend is real, it’s time for us to make like a market and flee.”

“It was nice meeting you guys,” I said, giving them all a polite nod before taking Aaron’s hand and hastily leading him away. As we left the foodcourt and headed outside to the parking lot, my hands began to sweat. The throbbing in my back had started up again. What is going on? Are my wings threatening to come out? I just let them breathe. Is the genetic suppressant finally wearing off? Maybe this is a side-effect of having a couple belts strapped around my chest. I didn’t know what was going on, but I was freaking out.

“Is everything okay?” Aaron asked when we arrived at his car and I almost yanked the door off its hinges trying to get it open.

“My back is really hurting,” I grunted, folding myself into a pretzel to fit inside his ridiculously small car.

“Are your wings coming out again?” He looked worried as he climbed into the driver’s seat.

“No idea.” I rolled my shoulders in an attempt to alleviate the pain, but that didn’t help. If anything, the discomfort was getting worse. My first thought was that my wings were going to burst out, but this wasn’t the usual throbbing that preludes their arrival. If I had to put it into words, it felt like I was getting stabbed repeatedly in the back. I don’t know how much more of this I can take! Like claws, my nails dug into my jeans as I struggled to endure the pain. It took all my energy not to cry out. While Aaron turned the key in the ignition, I fought for serenity. The pain was slowly taking me over. One jab after another was making it impossible to think. Within minutes my breathing became elevated as the throbbing became borderline unbearable.

“Are you okay?” Aaron asked, fear dominating his face as he cast the occasional glance my way while he pulled out of the parking space.

“Don’t know.” It hurt so much, I barely got the words out.

“Maybe you should release your wings.”

“Won’t fit,” I gritted out, gripping my knees as another knife of pain sliced into my shoulder blades.

“I’m pulling over.” my boyfriend said, looking on the verge of panic.

“No!” I gasped, my breath coming out in bursts. “If I… let them… out… they might not… go back… in.”

“Look at you!” Aaron looked like he was about to have a panic attack as he pulled into a grocery store parking lot. “You look like you’re about to stroke out! I’d rather have you without a voice than not at all.”

Putting the car in park, he jumped out and came around to the passenger side. When he pulled me from the vehicle, I tried to resist, but the pain left me powerless. Relenting, I followed him into the men’s room. Entering the handicap stall, he locked the door behind us.

“Let your wings out!” he commanded, turning to face me. I shook my head stubbornly. Say I did let them out and they refused to go back in? How long would they hold me hostage this time? Even working full-time for Jeremiah, it would take at least a year to earn enough money to buy a new suppressant. And that’s assuming I find a seller. Despite the agony I was currently in, I was terrified of losing my voice. I never want to be trapped in that prison of silence again.

“Let them out!” Aaron hissed, his dark green eyes sizzling with determination.

  “I can’t,” I whimpered, my lower lip trembling. “I can’t go back.”

His brow furrowed before realization dawned on his face. “Uriah, what did I tell you? You’re not a little kid anymore. I know you were muted for years, but it’s over. You have the power now. If your wings won’t retract, we’ll figure something out.”

“Like what? Everything is working against us. We still don’t have the materials to keep the portal open. We don’t know where to find a genetic suppressant and even if we did, I won’t be able to afford it for over a year. This is a losing race.” By now tears were sliding down my face.

Aaron looked me dead in the eyes. “If this is a race than you’re a dark horse. No one ever said life was easy. You know that better than most, but that doesn’t mean you can’t persevere. This is just another hurtle on the way to
the finish line. So take a deep breath, let it out and leap.”

I was scared to death, but I couldn’t ignore the look in his eyes. There was a certainty there that trumped everything I’d ever felt. All my doubts, all my fears. He truly believed in me. Every time I didn’t think my love for him could get any stronger, he’d prove me wrong. Bowing my head, I seized the back of his head and pulled him into the most powerful, passionate kiss that I could muster. At the same time, I relaxed my tortured shoulders, allowing my wings to surface. With a loud whoosh, they filled the handicap stall. This time, I let them brush the walls. Much to my relief, the pain began to fade.

When our lips parted, Aaron maintained my gaze, not saying a word. His hand was on the side of my face as he looked deep into my eyes all the way to my soul. I could still see his determination, but also his love, respect and compassion. But there was something else. Graduate? By letting my wings out, I’d shown that I trust him. I do. I trust Aaron Applegate with my life. We continued to roam each other’s souls until the pain in my back was completely gone. I don’t know how much time passed. Seconds? Minutes? It didn’t matter. When I took a deep breath and tightened my shoulders, my wings obediently disappeared. I closed my eyes, letting out a huge sigh of relief. Yes!

“One hurtle at a time,” Aaron whispered into my ear, his hand gripping the back of my neck. “We’ll make it to the finish line together.”

  Chapter 24

  Aaron

Should I feel guilty? I mean, I paraded Uriah in front of my friends like he was an award winning stallion. After what Tyler said at the party, I wanted him to be green with envy. In general, he’s a nice guy and that’s why I like him, but he does have a tendency to say stupid shit. Now I can regard him as a friend, but there are moments when he feels more like a frenemy. Anyway, I digress. As I suspected, my friends welcomed my boyfriend with open arms. If they noticed there was anything off about him, they didn’t say. As the pieces of my life puzzle fell into place, I began to relax. After the scare with Uriah on the way home, I hoped that life wouldn’t throw him too many more hurtles. With everything he’s been through, I wasn’t sure how much more he could take.
