I asked excitedly as I took a step back and looked into his oval face. He had grown a beard which made him look older and more mature.

“They assigned me on a case,” he announced before having a seat opposite me.

“Shall I get you some coffee?”

  “No thank you,” he declined.

  “Are you sure?”

“I am very sure my dear sister,” he answered, “There will be time for coffee later when I start getting my hands dirty.”

David was always a sight for sore eyes; he had a contagious charm that I really loved. We had a good relationship where we talked from time to time, but we hadn’t seen each other for over a year.

“So how is everyone doing?” I asked I pushed the stack of files that were on my desk aside so that I could listen to him more intently.

“The kids are fine,” he answered, and I realized how evasive he was already.

  “Marisol?”

“Crazy as always,” he answered, “I am glad to be away from her for a couple of weeks.”

I knew he was sincere about that; my brother had married the high priestess of Medusa’s. He must have been in crazy stupid love when he proposed to her.

“Did the two of you ever come to an agreement? You know, about the divorce?”

David shrugged and immediately wished I hadn’t brought up the topic, from the look of his face I could tell he was a trapped man.

“You know what they say, Sarah, it is always cheaper to keep her,” he answered, “Enough about me, what have you been up to?”

“Nothing much just work and more work.”

“You look different,” he pointed out “You have a different kind of glow on you.”

“Oh shit!!” I thought to myself. David was very good at picking up on details and just as I was thinking about how to change the topic he guessed right.

“Who are you fucking?” he asked.

  “I don’t know.”

“You don’t know?” he asked confused “Sarah, I know our mother did not do right by us, but you cannot be that much of a slut.”

I laughed a hearty rippling laughter that seared through my body. I missed laughing this hard and so sincerely too, only David could make me laugh this hard.

  “I mean, I know who I am fucking,” I clarified “I just don’t know if it’s anything.”

“So you like him? Lucky bastard”.

Now this was new; David had never approved of my choice of men. I guess that was what happened to you when you lived for thirteen years with Cruella Devil (his wife).

“I want to meet him,” he announced.

Now this caught me off guard, why would my brother want to meet him? Was his life that is boring that he now got kicks at prying into other people’s affairs?

“You don’t have to meet him, we are not really a thing yet,” I said. The uneasiness in my voice did not go unnoticed.

“But he makes you smile like a fool,” he said after leaning in and giving me a closer look, “I think that is a good enough reason to meet him.”

“David, I don’t think he is available,” I went on trying to convince him otherwise “He is a busy man you know.”

“” He cannot be too busy to meet me.”

I hesitated, he was right. If Robbie cared about me, he would want to meet my brother without a doubt. I bit half of my lower lip as I tried to think about his reaction when I told him what David wanted. He hadn’t called me back yet; he hadn’t called me back the whole day.

“So are you going to set up the meeting? David asked as he took out his buzzing phone from his pocket and got to his feet.

“Definitely,” I answered after being pulled out of my reverie.

“Cool drinks the usual place after work,” he said and answered his phone call. I watched him leave my office after giving me a polite goodbye and thought back to my new mystery man.

As serendipity would have it, a phone call came through to me almost immediately. I answered my phone call with a smile on my face, happy he was finally keeping his promise.

“How is my favorite FBI kick ass agent doing?”

His voice sounded erotic; I could not really tell whether it was because I had been thinking about our sex session from the previous night. I shifted slightly in my seat trying to control the electric signals that were already making my pussy very wet.

  “It’s about damn time.”

“Always the feisty one,” he commented.

I bit my lip again as I leaned back in my chair and let him charm me like he always did.

“I am sorry for living you in bed like that,” he apologized “I had an early business meeting and could not wake you up from your slumber.”

“Apology accepted,” I answered, “But you might have to give me a rematch to cement it.”

“I am looking forward to that, how about I send a car to pick you up after work?”

“About that,” I started and was more than grateful that he could not see the reaction I had on my face “My brother is in town and would like to meet you.”

There was a prolonged silence that followed the question or rather a suggestion which made me very uneasy.

“I would totally understand if this is too much for you, meeting a family member is a big deal to a lot of people.”

I was fumbling with words, blubbering actually which made me sound like a complete idiot.

“I will be more than happy to meet your brother Sarah,” he cut me short.

  “Good, 10:00 o’ clock? Murphy’s?”

“Should I wear my favorite suit? Sunday best perhaps?” he joked.

“I think you should wear that designer suit you love so much,” I answered.

  “Which one?”

“The ‘be on my best behavior’ suit and tie.”

He laughed at my words, and I could imagine how his face winced whenever a smile formed on it. This man had gotten me thinking about him day and night; I was seriously whipped.

  “Ok boo, it’s a date.”

I spotted a rookie cop headed to my door, and I knew that only meant one thing, a fuck up!

“I have to go,” I said before hanging up the phone and resuming my sitting position. I was right; the rookie cop was the bearer of bad news. As I got to my feet to go and fix what had gone array, I thought of Robbie. Where was he when I was looking for a soul mate?

“Pump the breaks Sarah dear; you know how you get when you fall in love,” I muttered to myself. I dreaded to even think about it; I was not falling for Robbie we were simply living in the moment. I wondered whether David would like him, he never liked any of my boyfriends, but I was going to find that out in a few hours.

  David

It’s not every day that you look forward to meeting the man sticking it into your small sister. But here I was nursing my scotch sited next to my sister and waiting for the much talked about “Robbie”.

Other than taking my mind off my own problems, I wanted to intimidate the bastard. I never took lightly to men who dated my sister, and Sarah knew that. We had fallen out of touch with Sarah of late; work had come in between us. But she understood we were both FBI Agents fighting the big fight. Sarah had always been a tomboy growing up. Dressing up and shopping had never been her thing, it drove my mother nuts. She wanted a dressed doll, someone who would attend beauty pageants and paint her nails with. But instead, she got Sarah. A girl who would fart in the middle of dinner and think it as hilarious.

It was never a surprise to me when Sarah joined the academy; I was proud of her still am. If anyone could burst balls and do a kick ass job at it, it was Sarah.

“Nervous?” I asked after nudging her with the elbows. She had seemed jumpy ever since I mentioned about wanting to meet her new boy toy.

“Not really,” she answered with a half smile.

We were both still dressed in our work clothes, and she drunk from a beer tumbler that was half filled with beer froth.

  “David you know you c
an always talk to me?” she started, “You know about your marital issues.”

I sighed; she was trying to change the topic. I wanted to tell her what was going on with me and Marisol, but this was not the right time or the place.

“I see what you are trying to do.”

“What?’ she said with a confused look.

“You are trying to change the topic aren’t you?”

“Well, maybe,” she said naughtily “But I am worried about you.”

“Tell you what? Let’s talk about me on a different drinking day. It’s about Robin today”.

“Robbie,” she corrected before reluctantly agreeing to my suggestion “Ok, it’s a deal.”

I took another sip from my glass and looked around for the waitress who had served us. I loved visiting this place whenever I was in town; it reminded me of how far I had come career wise but also had a bittersweet ring to it. It was where I met Marisol, the mother to my adorable kids and my sweet loving wife. I use the word “sweet”, sarcastically. I could still see the innocent look she had when she came to serve me a beer. Her outfit was skimpy as was the requirement of the club and her perfect hourglass shape was inviting.

“There he is,” Sarah jolted me from my reverie, and I looked into the direction her finger was pointing at. I spotted a young man in khaki shorts and a white fitting tee shirt walking towards us after Sarah waving her over. He looked like the neat and clean type; his hands were deep in his pocket, and he had a confident smile plastered on his face.

Out of courtesy, I got to my feet and offered him my hand after he had placed a loving peck on my sister’s cheek. His grip was firm, and his eyes are searching as he had a seat and stared straight into my eyes. He looked suspicious, almost as if he was hiding something. There was something awfully wrong with this man; I couldn’t really tell what but my gut feeling was not giving in. For the sake of my darling sister, I fought the urge to roughen him up and resumed my seat.

“Robbie, this is my brother, David,” Sarah introduced us “David this is Robbie.”

This guy must be hitting it really good to make her smile like that. He made my sister look like a blonde, wide eyes, perky lips, giggling uncontrollably, feeling shy and nervous, the whole package. The only thing missing was drool coming out of her left side of the mouth, and he could easily pass off as her pimp.

“Nice to meet you,” I said and was more than grateful for the bad lighting in the club. At least, that way he could not see the sneer that went across my face when I told that lie.

“Nice to meet you too,” he answered. His smile was sincere, almost as if he was in on a joke that the rest of us knew nothing about. I downed the contents of my glass and was just about to order another one but saw that Robbie was up to something. He whispered in the manager’s ear, and I turned my gaze to my small sister questioningly.

“You guys mind if we change seats?” He asked, “You know a less noisy place where we can all get to know each other better?”

Fuck no! This guy was really trying to impress me; he was angling for the VIP sector?

“Sure,” I agreed and got to my feet.

We followed the manager to a quieter booth where there was a champagne bottle waiting for us on the table. I sat opposite the two love birds but did not look impressed by the cheap show. I called it cheap because it was all cliché; I wish Sarah could fuck someone with originality for once in her life. I almost felt nauseous when I looked in her direction and saw how she was all over the guy. Their arms were intertwined as Sarah hang on to every word that came out of his mouth.

“So David, I hear you are an FBI Agent as well?” he tried to make small talk with me, and I let him for the sake of my love dosed sister.

  “You heard right.”

The champagne was some expensive shit; I could tell by the way it bubbled in my mouth and smoothed sailed down my throat. The fucker was rich, so what? Being rich didn’t mean shit to me; this was my chance of picking his brains.

“I can see where Sarah got her tough side from,” he went on to compliment.

Rookie move, if he only knew how many men who have tried to get into my sister's panties have used that line.

“Sarah was born tough,” I corrected him “I only cemented her personality.”

“And I respect that about her.”

  “Do you really?”

  “Yes sir, I do.”

“Do you know what kind of woman Sarah is?”

I could feel my sister’s eyes burning in my direction; she would probably stomp on my foot as a sign of shutting me up.

  “Enlighten me,” he said bravely.

“Sarah is the kind of woman who does not need a man in her life. She can do anything you know, change a flat, fix a bulb heck she can even mow the lawn”, I said “Sarah never bends to anyone’s rules but hers.

“So what are you trying to say, David?”

“What I am trying to say, Robin,” I paused for Sarah to hear that I had intentionally called him by a name she didn’t want “Or rather, what I am trying to ask is what are you bringing to the table?”

I had the fucker where I wanted him, fidgeting and uneasy. The bad lighting in the club did not allow me to see his facial expression clearly.

“Come on David,” Sarah intervened. It was the first time she had spoken up that night, which was very unlikely to her.

“Sarah, let the man speak unless he does not have any balls,” I answered “Or is he hiding them behind the expensive show?”

Robbie sat up in his chair, let go of my sister’s arm and sipped from his glass. He then looked me in the eye as I eagerly waited for his response.

“Do you want to know what I am bringing to the table?”

“I just asked that,” I reminded him rudely.

“I bring love to the table,” he went on “I bring compassion, affection, passion and I bring me. The whole of me”.

“You are one of those aren’t you?” I asked and chuckled before turning my attention back to Sarah “You got yourself one of them lovey Dovey goons.”

“I am one of ‘those’” the last word he said with much contempt and air quotes. I still had a lot of questions to ask him, but I decided to give Sarah a break. I had a feeling it might slowly lead to slander territory and judging by the way he was throwing money around; he must have expensive ass lawyers on speed dial.

I sat back, relaxed and nursed my liquor before taking another sip from it. It was not yet over; I still needed to carry a background search on this fool. I watched how my sister was all over him; looking like a damn high school girl and it got me nauseated.

“I have to go,” I announced abruptly as I got to my feet “I have an early morning.”

“So soon? It’s not yet even midnight”, Sarah complained.

“I am getting old dear sis. It was nice meeting you Robbie”, I lied again after giving him my attention and offering him my hand to shake “Walk me to the car, Sarah?”

“Will be right back,” she said and got to her feet too. We walked out of the club and into the night air where it was less noisy and cooler.

“So what did you think?” she asked as she intertwined her arm with mine.

Why did she have to ask me that now? When was I tipsy and honest?

  “I don’t like him.”

  “I could tell.”

“There is something about him that rubs me the wrong way. I just can’t put a finger on it, but that guy is up to no good”.

“You never like any of the men I date David,” she protested.

“It’s not my fault that you have shitty taste, Sarah.”

“I could say the same thing about you,” she answered, and I knew she was right. Who was I to judge her boyfriend when I couldn’t put a leash on my whorish wife?

“Touché,” I answered as I got into my car, that was the thing about Sarah and I. We always told each other the truth, and neither of us got mad at the other for saying it at least not outwardly.

  “
Drive safe,” she called after me as soon as I had my seat belt on and started my car.

“I will, goodnight,” I answered, “Tell Robin to go fuck himself.”

  “I won’t, goodnight David.”

I let out a chuckle as I drove away, the liquor had made me horny, and I wished I could get a cheap whore to blow me. Thought about the work I had piled up for me the next day made me change my mind on that. I had to get some rest and return the one thousand and one phone calls and vulgar voice messages from my ‘darling’ wife.

  Sarah

David drove off into the night and left me standing in the club’s parking lot with his comments ringing in my mind. Granted, he had always hated all the men that got me in bed or were trying to get me to bed, but he was always right about instinct. He was always spot on right about the men I dated even it was something that I hated to admit to myself. His opinion had never really mattered because I never had any intentions of becoming serious with any of the men. But his observation about Robbie today hit a nerve, and the million dollar question popped up in my head.

How much do I know about Robbie? I had not run a background check on him even with the recourses being available and at my disposal.

A text message came through for me which distracted me from my thoughts.

  “Coming?”

“On my way,” I replied and started making it back to the club. The liquor was playing delicious games on my clit, and I needed a juicy cock to reply to it. My worries about Robbie were postponed as I made it back to the VIP booth. Robbie’s face lit up a smile when I approached the table, and his arm went around me as soon as I sat next to him.

“So your brother is scary” he commented cheekily.

  “Did you expect anything less?”

“I honestly did not,” he answered, “I actually expected a lot worse from him that was why I tried to diffuse the situation with liquor.”

I giggled and loved the warm feeling of his embrace as I melted into him. We spent more time drinking and talking and stole enough loving kisses between the two of us. The sexual tension was really building up after I downed the contents of my glass. I looked up into him eyes and let out a wide smile before saying “Let’s go home.”
