Lena's Happily Ever After [The Town of Pearl 3] (Siren Publishing Ménage Everlasting) Page 21

Kenny began to increase his thrusts. She was so damn tight he couldn’t go much more.

Lena reached up and pinched his nipples, and he lost it.

“Fuck, Lena!” Kenny yelled then thrust two more times and exploded inside of her.

He slowly pulled from her body then hugged her to him. He rolled to his side so as not to crush her, and Lena closed her eyes and remained still against his side.

  Chapter 16

Lena felt the tightness in her chest as she ran from Triumph and headed to her bedroom in the trailer. The music was blasting and the walls seemed to shake from the depth of the bass drums. She grabbed her money and some clothes. Whatever she could take in a hurry. She was frazzled as she shook, trying to move as quickly as she could. He was coming for her. Triumph wanted her for himself.

Lena looked down the hallway. It was dark, but she could hear screaming muffled by the sounds of music. She wondered who it was. She turned to look at her bed and gasped at the sight. Ariel was staring at her, face bloody and beaten. She was naked and filled with cuts and bruises and blood oozed from her stomach.

  “You left me, Lena.”

“No. No, I didn’t leave you. Triumph is after me, he’s going to kill me.”

“I’m dead because of you, Lena.”

“No, no, please, Ariel,” Lena cried out, and then she heard Triumph laughing behind her. Lena turned at the sound of his voice, and there he was, holding Sage and caressing her cheek.

“So sweet and innocent. She’s not a kid anymore. If I can’t have you, Lena, then I’ll have Sage.”

Lena shook her head and cried out repeatedly. “No, no, not Sage. Take me. Take me, Triumph.” In a flash, Sage was gone and Triumph was grabbing Lena, ripping her clothes from her body.

“You’re mine, Lena. You belong to me.”

She felt the hands grab hold of her body. She felt the weight upon her and then Kenny’s stern voice.

“Wake up now, Lena. Wake the fuck up now!” he yelled and she opened her eyes to find Kenny kneeling over her with her legs between his. His hands were on her shoulders and the others were there, too.

“Oh God, Sage,” she whispered then leaned up to hold on to Kenny. He lay back down halfway over her and held her. She hugged him tighter, trying to use his weight to diminish the awful images that had invaded her dreams.

“It is my fault. Ariel blames me. He’s going to get to Sage. He wants to hurt me.” She rambled on and on.

“Triumph?” Blake stated, and she nodded her head.

“The fucking asshole’s name is Triumph?” Quinn repeated.

“It’s all right, baby. I’ve got you. He can’t hurt you, honey. It was just a bad dream.” Kenny caressed her hair then pressed kisses along her temple and against her cheeks.

“Don’t let go of me, Kenny. Please don’t let go of me.” She whispered and squeezed him. He continued to caress her, hold her, and whisper soft words of reassurance to her.

“Rest now, baby. You need sleep, honey, and in the morning we’ll figure things out,” Kenny told her, and she closed her eyes and absorbed the feel of his skin under her cheek, the solidity of his muscular chest, and the feel of his larger size and weight. He loved her and promised to protect her, and so did the others.

  * * * *

Kenny’s phone began ringing, and he tried to uncurl his body from Lena’s without waking her.

“Here,” Blake grumbled, passing the cell phone to Kenny.

He continued to hold Lena. She was out cold and pressed against his side.

  “Hello?” he whispered.

“Would you like to explain to me what in the hell is going on with Lena?” Sheriff Wyatt asked in a very stern tone.

“Sure thing, Wyatt. Could I maybe call you back in a few minutes?”

  “She there?”

  “Yep.”

“Make it quick, I just got a call from a Detective Reynolds from Detroit.”

  “Shit.”

  “Exactly.”

Kenny tried to move, and Lena held on to him.

“Give her to me,” Blake whispered as he pulled Lena toward him.

She moaned in her sleep, but Kenny was able to get up out of bed.

She rolled into Blake’s arms and snuggled to him. The sight of her beautiful, naked body aroused him, and the swell of her ass, tilted toward him, had him wishing he didn’t have to call Wyatt back. But he had to. The shit was about to hit the fan.

  * * * *

“So, let me get this straight. Lena has a hunch, goes to the library, and finds out that the Jane Doe I mentioned to you is her friend Ariel?”

“Yes, Wyatt. She was a wreck. Apparently this guy tried to attack Lena, and he wanted her to be his woman. He’s some kind of big drug dealer.”

“Does Lena have any evidence to prove that this guy killed Ariel?”

“She said that Ariel was tied up and sprawled out naked as his gang members had their way with her. She believes that Triumph and his gang are responsible for the murder.”

“Jesus, that’s some terrible shit she witnessed.”

“There’s more. She wants to go back there.”

“I am certain that you and your brothers set her straight on that?”

“We did what we had to do to make her understand our commitment to her, Wyatt. She woke up having a nightmare and she said the guy’s name. She’s really worried about Ariel’s sister, Sage. She’s sixteen, and Lena was caring for her because Ariel was caught up with the gangbangers.”

“You’re going to have to bring Lena in. This detective from Detroit said that the person who anonymously called from our town gave the last name of the victim. When he checked it out, he found out that she doesn’t have any family. She lived in an orphanage and then took off with a few other teens and one younger kid.”

“That must be her sister Sage. Lena wants to go back to Detroit to find Sage.”

“Bring her in as soon as you can, and we’ll see what we can do to resolve this. I told the detective to give me some time.”

“Okay. They’re all sleeping now. I’ll have her into town in a couple of hours.”

  * * * *

“So, the detective traced the call?” Bryant asked as he joined Kenny in the kitchen.

“Seems so,” Kenny replied, feeling angry.

“You look pissed. What else did Wyatt say?”

“That Ariel doesn’t have a family. She was living in an orphanage and then took off a few years back with some other teenagers.”

“So she lied about everything to Lena, maybe even about Sage?” Bryant asked.

“Exactly. I know she’s really upset and worried about this girl, but what the fuck? I mean Ariel lied about everything,” Kenny stated as he began to open up cabinets looking for coffee to make.

“But Lena still took care of Sage. It really wouldn’t matter if Ariel and her were sisters or not.”

“She’s sacrificed so much for people who lied to her.”

“She ran from us and doesn’t know what true love and commitment is. We have to help her understand, and I think last night was just the beginning,” Bryant added.

  Kenny was quiet a minute.

“She sure did get you to come around.”

“She has a special ability. That’s why she’ll want to find Sage.”

“I have the feeling we’ll be taking a trip to Detroit.”

  * * * *

Lena awoke, startled, and she instantly grabbed on to whatever was in front of her. The feel of rock-hard skin made her open her eyes. She immediately locked gazes with Blake.

He reached up to caress her cheek just as a hand caressed over her hip bone from behind her.

With a glance over her shoulder, she saw Quinn.

“You’re safe, Lena, and we’ve got you,” Blake told her. She closed her eyes and laid her head back down on the pillow. She kept them closed a few seconds as she relaxed her breathing then opened them to find Blake staring at her.

  She co
uld feel her heart begin to pound inside of her chest. A nervous feeling filled her body, and as Quinn’s hand crawled over her belly to her breast, she rolled to her back.

She winced, realizing that her butt was kind of sore.

Quinn squeezed her breast then pinched the nipple between his thumb and forefinger.

“No more secrets.” Blake leaned toward her and kissed her on the mouth.

  “My butt hurts.”

“We know and it should. Next time it won’t.”

“Next time?” she questioned, feeling her heart rate speed up, and, damn it, her pussy clenched. Was she a glutton for punishment or what?

“You are bound to do something just to get one of us to spank you again.” Blake laid his hand over her belly.

They heard someone clear their throat. Lena looked toward the doorway and saw Kenny. He was sipping at a cup of coffee. She could smell it as he walked farther into the room.

“We need to get up, have some breakfast then head into town,” Kenny stated.

Blake pulled Lena closer to him so that her face lay on his chest and his hand caressed her backside.

“We need to see Wyatt. That detective called from Detroit.”

“What?” both Lena and Blake asked as Quinn got out of bed and quickly got dressed.

“We’re all going with you,” Quinn stated.

Lena pulled the sheets up to cover her body as she sat up then tucked her feet under her.

  “What did he say, Kenny?”

“The detective traced the call you made back to town. After some questions to Wyatt, Wyatt figured out that you were somehow involved, especially since we were searching for you last night,” Kenny stated, and as he said the words, she could tell the memory made him angry. He rubbed the palm of his hand down his thigh. Lena crawled toward the bottom of the bed.

“What will he want from me?”

“Not sure. It’s best that we speak to Wyatt. He has way more experience with this than I do.”

“It will be okay, Lena. We’ll all be with you,” Blake said as he got out of bed and began to get dressed.

Lena locked gazes with Kenny as she kneeled on the edge of the bed. She stood up and walked to him. Taking the free hand he had just rubbed up and down his thigh, she pulled it around her and placed his palm against her backside.

“I’m sorry for being too scared to trust you.”

He squeezed her ass and pulled her against him.

“We belong to you, just as you belong to us.”

She smiled up at him then reached around and smacked him on his ass before taking off to the bathroom.

He shook his head as she disappeared.

His brothers chuckled then looked at him.

“She’s not out of danger is she, Kenny?” Blake asked.

“The way I see it, it seems she may be right smack in the middle of it.”

  Chapter 17

Only Kenny and Wyatt stayed in the room with Lena as she spoke over the phone with Detective Reynolds from Detroit. After she explained everything about her life back in Detroit and what she had witnessed before she escaped, Wyatt felt that she needed to help the detective out. From there, Detective Reynolds would search for Sage.

“Everything you’ve told me has really helped, Lena. Triumph and his gang have been under surveillance recently as they are believed to have been responsible for a drive-by shooting that took four innocent lives.”

“Oh my God, that’s terrible,” Lena stated.

“Yeah, a couple kids and their grandmother were killed along with a neighbor as they walked from the bus stop to their home. After you phoned yesterday, I checked with forensics about any evidence left behind on Ariel’s body. We have only the preliminary tests right now.”

“Does that mean if they raped her that their semen would be found on her?” Lena asked, surprising not only the detective but also Wyatt and Kenny.

“I didn’t want to get too specific, Lena, because I know Ariel was your friend.”

“If she was my friend, then she wouldn’t have put me at risk like that and taken Triumph’s side. Detective Reynolds, I would have been raped and possibly murdered, too, if I had stayed there. I know that, and now my concern is for Sage.”

“You’re a brave young woman, and I’m glad that you found somewhere safe to go to. If you give me some ideas of where Sage might be hiding out, I’ll look for her personally.”

“I don’t think she’ll come to you willingly. I taught her well, and after Ariel told us the story about a cop offering help and then turning on her, Sage won’t believe you or any of your friends.”

“In every profession there are good guys and bad guys, Lena. I wish Ariel hadn’t encountered the bad guy. There’s really nothing more I can do than check around and try to contact her.”

“I can come out there. I know places where she could be hiding.”

“I’d rather you didn’t because of Triumph and his gang being loose. If they find out you’re in town, they could come after you.”

“You could catch them then, couldn’t you?” Lena asked.

“No, Lena, you are not being bait,” Kenny scolded.

“Kenny, he killed four innocent people and Ariel, he needs to be stopped.”

“Well, that’s great, but let detective Reynolds and his team stop Triumph and his gang because you’re not going there.” Kenny raised his voice, and Lena crossed her arms in front of her chest and exhaled as she stared at him.

“I have an idea that might get Triumph off the streets so that Lena can come here and search for Sage, with protection, of course,” Detective Reynolds added, breaking the uncomfortable silence.

“Keep us informed, and we’ll let you know what our plans are,” Wyatt stated before disconnecting the call.

  * * * *

“Goddamn it, Lena, what the hell were you thinking? I am not going to allow you to risk your life and go back to Detroit to help capture this asshole. He and his gang of shit raped Ariel and killed her. They tossed her body in a damn Dumpster as if she were garbage.” Kenny slammed his fist down on the table.

“Kenny, you need to calm down,” Wyatt interrupted then walked in front of his desk, crossed his arms in front of his chest, and looked at Lena.

“If you were my woman, if you were Anna, I would be saying the same thing. Let Detective Reynolds search for Sage. Give him time to work his case and get Triumph and his gang behind bars. Then if it’s clear and safe, Kenny and your men can accompany you to Detroit to find her,” Wyatt stated. Kenny just kept trying to take nice, easy breaths.

Lena nodded her head and stood up.

“I appreciate your help, Sheriff Cantrell.”

  “Wyatt.”

“Wyatt. I truly do appreciate your help with this. There is a lot to consider, and I need to talk to the guys so we can come up with some kind of plan. Sage has been alone for three weeks now. Every day that passes with her on the streets alone puts her in further danger.”

She turned to walk out of the room. Kenny remained where he stood.

  * * * *

“Kenny, I agree with you a hundred percent. I know exactly how you feel. You remember when Anna was being hunted and those two assholes from New York came and nearly killed her? Fuck, that was the worse forty-eight hours of my life. Keep her by your side or always with one of your brothers. Let her know that it will work out and we’ll try our hardest to make sure that the detectives in Detroit find her friend Sage.”

“Thanks, Wyatt,” Kenny stated then shook his hand and walked out of his office.

  * * * *

Lena felt sick to her stomach as she walked out with Bryant, Quinn, and Blake. She kept her arms wrapped around her stomach and all she kept thinking about was how Triumph and his gang raped Ariel and stabbed her to death. She thought about how Triumph was involved with the drive-by shooting that killed those innocent people. He deserved to be killed or at least placed in jail for the rest of his life. Him, Troy, Monte and Bills, all of
them deserved to be punished.

She walked past their trucks and didn’t hear a word any of them were saying to her. As she walked between the buildings and up toward the bench and large tree overlooking the fields of flowers as she did last night, she felt the hand grip her upper arm and turn her around.

Kenny faced her, looking angry but under control. He was pissed because she wanted to put her life on the line to capture Triumph. She understood that because they cared for her as she cared for them. Even as she said the words back in Wyatt’s office, she felt her rear tingle as if a reminder to their pledge to protect her. She just went against everything she promised.

“Don’t say it, Kenny. Don’t yell at me, don’t throw me over your knee and spank me, just don’t do anything, Kenny, but listen. Listen to where I’m coming from and why I was compelled to offer what I did.”

Kenny released her arms, crossed his arms in front of his chest, and stared at her. He was angry all right, and looking at Bryant, Quinn, and Blake’s facial expressions made her take a deep breathe.

“What is going on?” Blake asked.

“Yeah, what the hell happened in there?” Quinn asked next.

“Lena offered to be bait to catch Triumph,” Kenny spit out, and she shook her head as the others began to carry on.

“Damn it, Kenny, it wasn’t like that and you know it. Did you hear what the detective said? Did you hear what the preliminary reports on Ariel’s body found? She was raped, Kenny. Multiple times and probably by multiple men. She was beaten, and she was stabbed in her stomach then dumped into a Dumpster like a piece of garbage!” Lena yelled as the tears began to fall. She was shaking. Bryant moved toward her, and she raised her hand for him to go no further.

“Did you hear about those innocent people gunned down at the bus stop? He’s killed, raped, destroyed people’s lives, Kenny, and now he could have Sage. He doesn’t belong free on the streets, he belongs dead or in jail.”

“That is not your place to be the one to put him there, damn it. Lena, didn’t you listen to what we told you last night? So easily you would defy our commitment and place yourself in the ultimate danger?” Kenny countered, taking a step toward her. She took another step back but bumped into Quinn. His hand held her shoulders. His chest was snug against her back as Kenny’s steps devoured the space between him and her.
