And it wasn’t like he could complain. Calen had already let him come several times today, but at that moment the memories were distant. It was the hottest scene he’d ever experienced. It pulled at every sense and at every kink he had. Even the pressure from the ring was perfect.
Watching as Calen fucked himself on his cock, Brent fought the urge to close his eyes. As much as he wanted to focus on the tight pleasure engulfing his cock, the need to see the desire racing across Calen’s face was even stronger.
Time lost all meaning for Brent as Calen rode him.
Faster, then slower, Calen chased the pleasure, then seemed to want to draw it out. Brent had no idea how long he lay there and watched his Dom. When it was finally too much for Calen, he slammed himself down on Brent’s cock and exploded. Squeezing his tight muscles, he milked every drop of pleasure from his body. Calen arched back and shook as cum shot out over Brent’s body in long stripes.
The world narrowed down to that one point and soon Brent was flying. The aching fullness in his balls and the weariness in his muscles didn’t matter. The bed seemed to swallow him up and everything else faded away. He could hear Calen’s voice in the distance but it was warm and soothing, helping to lull him deeper into the haze.
The words were lost, but the love and emotion were clear. Master, lover, Dom, friend…Calen was everything to him.
EPILOGUE
“So you ready to head back to work on Monday?” Bryce’s smile wasn’t as forced as it had been before his time off, so Brent couldn’t help but hope he’d started to figure out what he wanted—and maybe even how to go about getting it.
“Yes and no. This week has been perfect, but I’m ready to get back to the real world.” But it was a hard call. Being able to completely submit and let Calen decide everything for those few days had been amazing. It felt more like he’d had a month off, not a week. But being so relaxed and centered made him ready to tackle real life again, so it was a double-edged sword.
Sitting around the outdoor patio of their favorite Mexican restaurant, Brent was glad he’d managed to drag everyone out to lunch. Wyatt and Carter had been a little hesitant, but Bryce had jumped at the chance to get out of the house.
Brent thought he’d probably been obsessing over his new interests too much lately. He hadn’t had a chance to talk to Bryce much in the last couple of days. Calen had kept him well-occupied, but he planned on rectifying that once he got back to work.
Wyatt looked around, then leaned closer to the table. “You said you guys played a lot this week. Did you like being lifestyle for a while?” Wyatt’s cheeks were getting a little pink, but the sub didn’t let his nerves get the best of him.
Brent thought he was so cute. “Doing it all the time might drive me nuts, since Calen’s bossy and completely takes over when you let him, but it was what we both needed. And it let us both get a taste for how things will work long-term.”
Carter smiled and settled back in his chair. “I’m still new to the group and learning about everyone, but you guys seemed to be figuring things out pretty fast. I’m impressed.”
“It might seem kind of quick, but it doesn’t feel that way. We’ve known each other so long, it’s like the logical next step. Calen is patient when he needs to be and has crazy amounts of self-control,” he had to smile, his Dom had it in spades when he needed it, “but he’s like a freight train when he wants something.”
Bryce smirked, “And right now, what he wants is you.”
“Not exactly,” Brent shook his head, smiling. “It’s more like he wants us together without anything in the way. And things like living in two separate houses and having busy schedules are in the way.”
Wyatt’s eyes got wide, “He wants you to live together already?”
“He’d have moved me in the day we signed our contract if I let him. We’ve settled on a schedule where we’ll stay over at each other’s places for right now. I think he’ll end up selling his place and moving into mine pretty soon, though.” And Brent wasn’t going to fight the idea, either. There would be some bumps as they figured out how to live together, but he couldn’t imagine putting it off too long.
Wyatt looked thoughtful, and he started to fidget, so Brent knew there was something on his mind. He liked the fact that he was starting to get to know Wyatt more. He wanted his new friend to feel like part of the family. “How are things going between you and Garrett? He still trying to take it slow?”
The cute sub leaned back in his seat, sighing dramatically. “God, yes. He’s so sweet, but it’s making me crazy.”
Bryce laughed, “So you’re ready for him to lock you up and throw away the key but he’s giving you space, or some other nonsense like that.”
Wyatt blushed an almost violet color at the mention of being locked up. Brent had a pretty good idea what the issue was about and so did everyone else, because Bryce and Carter started snickering. The sub shook his head, then stuck out his tongue at them, making Brent laugh. “Basically.”
“Are you going to talk to him about it?” Carter managed to stop giggling long enough to question Wyatt.
A little grin escaped Wyatt as he answered. “Don’t tease him or anything…” Then he gave them all a stern look before he continued. “But hearing that Calen wanted a contract right away made him rethink taking things as slow as he has been. He wants to start working on one tonight. I’m going to mention it when we talk about schedules.”
“If it was up to you, what would you want?” Brent couldn’t help asking. It probably wasn’t his business, but it wasn’t the weirdest thing that Wyatt would be asked now that he was part of the family.
Wyatt thought about it for a moment, then the blush started to creep back into his face. “I’d like for us to live together. Garrett might be right, but having him around all the time would be so much better than only seeing him occasionally. He calls a lot…” He paused and started shifting in his seat a little before he continued. “And he constantly shows me he’s thinking of me, but it’s not the same.”
Carter shrugged, then reached out to squeeze Wyatt’s shoulder. “You’re a jump in feet first kind of sub. There’s nothing wrong with that. You’ve found a great guy who loves you and gets what you want. Don’t feel bad about that.”
Bryce nodded and spoke up. “He’s probably thinking the same thing you are. Talk to him about it. You don’t need to go off of someone else’s timetable for relationship steps. Do what comes naturally.”
The thoughtful expression on his brother’s face had Brent hoping that Bryce would listen to his own advice. Turning back to Wyatt, Brent had to agree with Bryce. “He’s right. You’ll know what feels right. Tell Garrett, and I think you’ll be surprised at his reaction.”
“But no collaring ceremony before Mom gets back. She’ll kill you both if you make her miss something like that.” Bryce laughed at the shocked expression on Wyatt’s face.
“She’d want to come?” Wyatt looked dumbfounded.
Brent and Bryce spoke at the same time. “Oh yeah.”
Trying to calm Wyatt down, Brent reached out to pat his shoulder. “We’ll make sure it’s tasteful and Garrett will have you appropriately covered, if that’s your fear.”
Wyatt seemed to relax a little. “That’s certainly part of it. But still…”
“It’s weird and overwhelming, but that’s our family for you.” Bryce was thoroughly enjoying Wyatt’s reaction.
“No offense or anything, but your family is strange.” Wyatt shook his head, not bothering to hide his nerves.
“Oh yeah, but you’ll learn to love us.” Brent smiled at Wyatt’s skeptical expression; the sub was going to fit right in with the rest of the family.
“We grow on you.” Bryce was trying to be serious, and make Wyatt more comfortable, but Carter ruined it.
He chimed in, a wicked grin on his face. “Like a fungus?”
As everyone laughed and enjoyed themselves, Brent couldn’t believe how fortunate he was. He had wond
erful friends, a supportive—if crazy—family, and the best Dom he could have wished for. Now that everything felt perfect for him, he hoped that Bryce and Grant would find happiness as well.
However, Brent felt they might need a nudge in the right direction. Looking at Carter, he thought a trip up to the club might be in order. He’d have to see what Calen thought, but if he knew his Dom, he’d think it was perfect. Getting the chance to meddle in Grant’s life, and maybe even Bryce’s, as well as playing with Brent at the club; his Dom wouldn't be able to resist.
As much as he liked relaxing with everyone, Brent was suddenly ready to get home. Calen had promised him a surprise and Brent had a feeling it was a naughty one. But whatever it was, Brent knew Calen’s love and domination would come through.
Brent had been on enough bad dates and met enough Doms that didn’t understand him that he wasn’t going to let Calen get away. Maybe it was time for Brent to surprise Calen tonight by telling his Dom exactly how he felt.
He’d never said the words to anyone else, and even thinking about saying them to Calen gave him a lump in his throat. Calen was his friend, his lover, and his Dom, and Brent couldn't have loved him more. Oh yeah, he thought with a smile. It was time to go home.

Flawed Perfection
CHAPTER 1
Nathan
I found him on Craigslist. It probably wasn’t some place you were supposed to go to meet people. I mean, the personals were fun to look at, especially when you were drunk or something, and the section for trying to get in touch with that random stranger you saw on the street was hilarious. But no one actually met people from Craigslist. Well, no one except me.
He was interesting.
Sometimes I couldn’t decide if I liked him or not. Other times it felt like I might be obsessed with the guy. It seemed like a relationship where someone who was outside looking in would label it as unhealthy or odd. It didn’t feel that way.
It felt natural. Like I’d known him forever.
I read somewhere that good roommates were supposed to be like that. The article, or maybe it was a book…maybe an online magazine—that wasn’t the point—had said that a good roommate was like a lover.
You might know by just looking at them that the chemistry would be amazing. It might take you a while to get there but in the end, it would feel perfect. Or they’d turn out to be totally crazy, and while you suspected that to begin with, you didn’t listen to the little voice in your head.
I wasn’t so sure about the lover analogy but the article had gotten one thing right. I’d known that he was the perfect roommate from the moment we met. The lover analogy still confused me, even after we’d been living together for almost six months. I thought that once he’d moved in it would help me make sense of it, that I would finally just get it one day. But maybe I needed to have a lover first for the author’s meaning to sink in.
Not that I was going to have sex for the first time just to understand an article.
It had to be an article…maybe it was a blog. Oh, that would make more sense. Which blog, though? It was going to bug me until I could remember. Either way, I wasn’t going to do it just to figure it out. At twenty-three, I thought it was probably past time that I worked on the whole virgin thing.
I was kind of curious for first-hand knowledge of sex.
My friends said that I should have been curious about sex a long time ago. I disagreed. High school had been difficult enough without adding sex into the mix. College hadn't been that much better. Everyone wanted labels and explanations about who you were. Gay—straight—bi—and endless other options that I really didn’t understand. If you fell into the confused category more than anything else people weren’t so forgiving.
Aside from the hookup type people…of either gender…no one wanted to date you if you weren’t one hundred percent sure what you wanted. And I didn’t think I was the hookup type. But maybe I was? I wasn’t willing to explore it enough to find out. It just didn’t sound like fun. Sex with a stranger, who you have no idea is good in bed or not and you have no idea if they’ll take you asking questions well or not, was not my thing.
“I should say I’m bi.”
“What?” Gabriel looked up from the kitchen table, a confused expression on his face. “Did you say something, Nate?”
Please don’t let him have heard me. “Nothing. Just talking to the TV.”
He looked a little bit confused, but hopefully he was distracted enough by all the papers he had stacked in front of him. Gabriel was a history teacher at an alternative high school and there always seemed to be endless mountains of grading that had to be done.
The TV was on, thankfully, so it didn’t look like I was nuts. I wasn’t sure when the nature show on the lions started, but Gabriel couldn’t see it from where he was sitting. Besides, he was too polite to say anything if I had said something weird. Talking to lions seemed a bit much, even for me.
Gabriel was the perfect roommate. He picked up after himself and did his share of the chores. He cooked on a regular basis and always made enough to share. He didn’t bring people over that often and never had overnight guests. He was patient when I got distracted and never lost his temper. The perfect roommate.
My friend Matt thought that I was probably asexual.
I didn’t have many friends but every one of them had an opinion. Matt thought I was asexual. He and Allie had both hit on me when I first met them, and aside from finding both of them likable and very attractive, I hadn’t wanted to do anything with either of them. Allie thought I was just selective and I’d find the right person when I was ready. She was just nice and didn’t want to hurt my feelings. So I had no idea what she really thought.
Other f
riends weren’t so worried about hurting my feelings.
