Perilous (Dauntless MC Book 2) Page 4

by Suzanne Steele

“Yeah,” she answered shyly. “I know you don’t realize the importance of it, but I haven’t had this kind of stuff to pamper myself in what seems like forever.”

He made his mind up then and there that she would never be without what she needed as long as she was in his care. He stood close, looking down on her, as she squirted shampoo in her hand. She reached up and started washing his hair. She had to stand on her tiptoes and, still, could barely reach him. He towered over her, and he loved it. He let her finish before he turned her around to face the water. He bent down and whispered in her ear, “My turn now, babe.”

His knew his hands were rough and aggressive, even though he tried to be gentle. He’d never washed a woman’s hair before. He finished up and then went to apply conditioner, only knowing to do so because she handed him the bottle.

She wiggled free of his firm grip and grabbed a wide tooth comb.

  “What are you doing?”

“I have to comb the conditioner through my hair.”

“Hurry up. I’ve got plans for you.” He grabbed the body wash she had brought into the shower and poured some into his hands. After lathering it up and rubbing his hands all over her back, he then went to work on the front so he could toy with her nipples. Slowly and with great care, he expertly worked his hands over her ribcage and abdomen. His fingers slid down to the apex of the V between her legs. He purposely spread her lips open, allowing the pressure from the water to massage her clit.

“You stay there until you come for me, baby.” He ground his hard cock into her backside, feeling the tremors of delight that radiated off her.

She sunk into his large frame as the intense orgasm coursed through her. He knew it was a first for her, and he felt like he would be giving her a lot of firsts in the future. He held her tightly in place, forcing her to take the intense onslaught of a second climax, before he turned her around and picked her up with ease. He set her down on his cock after she wrapped her legs around his waist. She felt incredible. She was soaking wet, warm, and so fucking tight. Preacher was insanely happy her test results had come back from the Doc because there was no way he wanted to fuck her with a condom between them; this felt too damn good.

“Damn, girl, I’ll never get tired of this. I have a feeling every time I fuck you, it’s only going to feel better and better.”

His lips clamped over a nipple as he pulled her up and down on his cock until he emptied all his pent up desire in one final, forceful thrust.

They quickly finished bathing before they ran out of hot water and made their way back into the bedroom. He watched her as she flitted around the room, not sure if he was ready to let her go quite yet.

  “Wonder what you taste like.”

“You can’t be serious. I have to get to work,” Daisy argued while looking for something to wear.

“Stop defying me, stand still, and spread your legs, Daisy. I’m not through with you yet.”

His words were clipped, short, and right to the point. He didn’t care about impressing her. Right now, he was only interested in making her obey and making sure she knew her body belonged to him. She froze in place and stood with her legs spread apart as he lowered himself down onto his knees. His fingers slowly spread her open, exploring her, before he began to lap at her core. He licked her from front to back and everywhere in between as she ran her hands through his long, black hair.

“Oh yes, you are so sweet and tight.” He eased his finger into her opening as he flicked his tongue over her clit. He watched as her legs started to tremble, and he knew she was right at the brink of another orgasm. Intermittently, he spoke between flicks and laps of his tongue. “Couldn’t take my eyes off you that first night, babe. I lied in bed, thinking about this for hours before I finally fell asleep. You taste every bit as good as I imagined you would.”

He languidly lapped at her slit before removing his finger and looking up at her through hooded eyes. She ran her hands through his hair and looked back down at him. “You’re so fucking sexy, Preach. Damn, you look good from up here.”

“Yeah? Well, I’m glad you like what you see because it’s all you’ll be looking at from now on. I’m going to love owning you, and I do mean own. You’re mine now, baby girl.” Her fingers locked in his hair, pulling it tighter, as her body responded to his words with a powerful orgasm.

He lied down on the bed and crooked his finger at her. She sat on top of him, easing down on his hardened cock.

“Told you before, girl; there isn’t anything about me that’s gentle.”

His hands locked onto her hips and picked her up, only to slam her back down on his cock.

“Fuck me like you mean it, girl. I want to feel every bit of that hot, little pussy.”

His fingers rubbed over her clit, and he watched her intensely as she started riding him with more fervor.

“Oh, fuck yeah, girl. I can feel you clamping down on me.”

Her body tightened around him, pulling his seed from his body as they went over the edge together. She fell down onto his chest, and he made sure he had her attention before he spoke.

“Don’t want you fuckin’ around with nobody else, girl. You’re property now—my property.”

He felt her nod and something tightened in his chest. He wasn’t looking forward to her going to work, but he was relieved that, if she had to go, he would be right there with her, keeping an ever-watchful eye on her. It wasn’t just protecting her Preacher was worried about. He’d also have to be on the lookout to make sure she didn’t cause any problems for the club. Unfortunately, regardless of the connection he felt with her, he still couldn’t fully trust her, and until he could, the club’s safety came first and foremost.

  Chapter Ten

  Daisy

She wasn’t looking forward to going into the club. Fear lurked in the shadow of her mind and constantly plagued her with the probability of losing her new beginning. Any other time in her life she’d had a taste of happiness, something always came along to snatch it away from her. The last couple of days had been like a dream come true. She pushed away her anxiety and looked in the mirror. Preacher was watching her through its reflection as if he was trying to read her thoughts.

  “What is it?”

“I’m scared he’ll find me, and I don’t want that to happen. I like it here. I like you.”

“I like you too, enough to fucking kill him if he gets near you.”

“I don’t want you to kill him.”

His eyes bored into her, prompting her to explain. “If you kill him, you’ll go to prison, and then I won’t have you anymore.”

“If I kill the son of a bitch, it will be without a trace.”

The look on his face assured her that he was serious, deadly serious.

She was smart enough to know if someone got killed on club property, no one would utter a single word about it. Even the customers were scared to get involved in club business. It would be done in such a way that Billy would just disappear, like he never existed. She honestly didn’t care if her asshole ex fell off the face of the earth, never to be seen again. She did, however, care about her newfound family, and she most certainly cared about her newfound love. She wasn’t one to fall in love overnight, but there was something about this guy, something very different. He made her feel safe, he made her feel wanted, and he made her feel like she belonged. Thinking back on her life, she couldn’t remember a single instance when somebody wanted her with no strings attached. He wasn’t in it for money she could make, and he wasn’t whoring her out. All he was asking for was her fidelity to him and loyalty to his club. She had no intentions of letting him, or the club, down.

  Chapter Eleven

  Daisy

The loud music couldn’t drown out the screams of the angry woman back in the dressing room.

“You fucking bitch, you think you’re better than I am? He’ll do the same damn thing to you that he did to me. As soon as he gets tired of you, he’ll dump your ass!”
/>   “Back the fuck off, Kathleen,” Raven hissed as she jumped between the two women. “You guys never had anything more than a fuck fest. You knew that when you got into bed with him. We all know Preacher isn’t one to mince words. How the hell do you think he got the nickname Preacher? I know for a fact he let you know from the get-go it was nothing but sex between the two of you.”

“It ain’t fair, Raven,” the woman sobbed, trying to gain sympathy.

“You can’t make a man love you,” Raven tried to reason.

“I can’t make myself quit loving him either.”

Daisy stomped from the dressing room. She’d heard enough. She wasn’t naïve enough to believe Preacher hadn’t fucked his fair share of women, but hearing about it wasn’t sitting well with her at all. Fuck him. She had no intention of letting him, or any other man, break her heart. She was making her way towards the floor to go make some money when he suddenly stepped out from the shadows and pulled her into his rock hard body.

“Where the fuck do you think you’re going?”

“Away from you!” She struggled, trying to get out of his iron grip, but it was futile. “Fuck you, Preacher.”

“Oh, I will. Believe me, I’ll definitely fuck your brains out later. For now, though, you better not step foot outside this club. I’m watching you, so if I were you, I wouldn’t get so mad that you get things twisted. I’m not the kind of motherfucker you want to cross. I mean it, Daisy. I’ll fuck up your whole world.”

“Well, you’re not me,” she turned, stabbing at his chest with her finger as she looked up at him. It only pissed her off more that he was looking down on her like he was amused and trying to keep from laughing.

The problem was that she was as angry with herself as she was with him. She hated herself for getting jealous and for even caring what that woman said back in the dressing room. She was acting like a petty, jealous woman, and it pissed her off. She didn’t want him affecting her like that. In fact, she didn’t want any man affecting her at all, not after the shit Billy put her through. How could she have been that stupid to let down her guard… and to a fucking biker no less? She stormed away from him, making her way over to a customer. Just like last time, when she looked up, she saw him standing with his arms crossed over his chest and eyeing her from the shadows. Why did he have to look so damn good?

  Preacher

Though he stood in a darkened corner looking the epitome of danger, he had a hard time not laughing when she jabbed him in the chest with her tiny finger. He towered over her petite frame, looking down on her, and she refused to let him intimidate her one bit. She had balls of steel; he was certain of that fact. He had to admit, he was flattered she had gotten jealous. He tried not to humor himself too much with the thought, knowing how Kathleen could be. She’d probably been screaming in the poor girl’s face, and that was enough to make even the most docile of women lose their cool, not that Daisy struck him as the docile type.

What was it about these chicks? They came in agreeing to be club sluts, but as soon as a guy slept with them, they got all clingy and territorial. He didn’t flatter himself on that note either because he knew most just wanted to be somebody’s old lady; it didn’t matter who the guy was. That pissed him off even further. He didn’t give a fuck about being loved by any of them, but he did care about being used. In his mind, he was nobody’s bitch. Even he had the decency to let a chick know a fuck was just that—a fuck—nothing more, nothing less. It appeared Kathleen hadn’t quite seen things the same way, even though he’d practically left a road map for her. Oh well, the worst of it was over, and he was on to other things like making sure those boys from Hell’s Demons didn’t show up to start shit. He wasn’t one to lose focus, no matter what kind of drama was flying around trying to distract him. Even in the worst of situations, Preacher knew how to keep a cool head because logic always prevailed.

  Daisy

Daisy finished up the lap dance she was doing and eased her way back towards the dressing room. Raven grabbed her arm when she entered and she, along with Red, led her out back. They huddled, partly hidden, as Raven fired up a cigarette and eyed Daisy warily.

  “Sorry about Kathleen.”

“What’s the deal with the two of them?” If Raven was in a talkative mood, then Daisy was going to get all the information she could on her competition.

“You know how the boys are. She kept hitting on Preacher, and he finally gave in and fucked her after he’d had a few drinks.”

“So they weren’t seeing each other regularly?”

“Ha, that isn’t something you have to worry about with Preacher. He’s not the staying kind.”

“Great, so he’s watching me because Tiny told him to, and when he doesn’t have to babysit me anymore, he’ll move on.”

“To be honest with you, I don’t know what he’ll do, Daisy. I’ve never seen him with anybody for more than one night. You’re the closest thing to a girlfriend I’ve ever seen him have, much less an old lady.”

As much as Daisy hated it, she was glad she was hearing this from the girls. The only problem was that none of his friends seemed to be able to get a read on him, and she damn sure couldn’t either.

“Alright, girls, back to work,” Raven called over her shoulder as she went through the back door of the bar.

The two girls headed back into the dressing room while Daisy returned to the floor. An arm reached out and grabbed her, pulling her into a wall of muscle. Though she couldn’t see Preacher’s face because he had her turned around and pulled up against his massive chest, she knew, all too well, that it had to be him.

“You don’t listen very well, do you?”

She could tell by his voice that he was pissed, and though she wanted to smart off, she thought better of it.

“It doesn’t take but one fucking second for things to get ugly up in here. I need eyes on you at all times. If you think your little jealous fit warrants reason for you to be out of my sight, you’re dead wrong. I got a president to answer to and a club to watch out for. I take that shit seriously.”

“Yeah, well I take it seriously when a bitch threatens me.”

“I didn’t know she was going to do that, Daisy. I never led the bitch on.” His voice lightened, taking on a more playful tone. “Are you jealous?”

“Fuck you, Preacher.” She squirmed and tried to get away from his tight grip.

“You’re making my dick hard by fighting me, girl. Keep it up, sweetheart. I’ll have you in the bathroom, propped up on a sink, and my cock shoved inside you in under a minute.”

“You’re so romantic,” she rolled her eyes and attempted to kick him in the shin but only succeeded in lightly kicking over his heavy biker boot with her heel. Even with her high heels on, she was barely tall enough to be pressed against his large chest.

She squirmed as he taunted her. He was purposely grinding his hard cock into her backside just to piss her off. “If you’re looking for flowers and champagne, you’re with the wrong guy,” his voice got husky as he continued, “but if you’re looking for a dark stranger who will always have your back, I’m your man.”

What Daisy couldn’t figure out is why those words touched her so deeply, and then she realized it wasn’t the words; it was the man they were coming from.

  Chapter Twelve

  Preacher

The rest of the night went on without incident, but as soon as they entered the compound, one of the prospects let him know that Tiny wanted to see him.

  “Prez wants to see ya.”

Preacher looked out from the backseat where he’d pulled Daisy into his body. His eyes roamed from the first prospect, who looked like he was freezing his ass off guarding the gate, to the second, who looked equally as cold.

He just nodded and then brought his head down to growl in Daisy’s ear. “You better have that fucking bed warmed up by the time I get there, and you damn sure better not be anywhere but in that bed when I get back.”

  He noted the s
light nod of her head as the SUV drove over the loose gravel. “I meant what I said,” he growled again as he got out of the vehicle to go meet Tiny.

Preacher stuffed his hands in his pockets to warm them and walked down the hallway that led to Tiny’s office. “What’s up, Prez?” he asked as he slumped down into a chair in front of the desk.

“How’d everything go at the club tonight?”

“More drama with the women than anything. Kathleen got pissed and got up in Daisy’s face. Of course, I got the worst end of the deal.”

“So, you’ve gone from being a loner to a ladies’ man, huh?” Tiny chuckled.

“Nah, I guess Kathleen took things more seriously than I did. I think, for her, it’s more about wanting to be an old lady than it is about wanting to be with me.”

Preacher squinted as he eyed Tiny. His president was leaning forward and folding his fingers together, something he always did before he asked a serious question. “How serious are you about this girl?”

  “I like her alright.”

“Do you like her enough to keep her, or do you want me to give her to another brother?”

Preacher didn’t understand the tightening in his chest that he felt in response to Tiny’s question. He did know that the thought of having to see her on another brother’s arm everyday didn’t sit well with him at all. He could feel himself getting angry about just the hypothetical.

“Nah, man, I don’t want to give her away. She’s fine with me where I can keep an eye on her.”

Tiny slapped the desk lightly a couple of times for emphasis. “Alright then, I’ll let the boys know she’s your property.”

With the declaration from his president that Daisy was officially his, Preacher felt something he couldn’t ever remember feeling before, unless it had to do with the club or his bike. He felt pride. The thought of Daisy being on his arm made him feel proud and happy to be able to show her off as his. Yeah, he definitely wanted her.
