“There is no life without him, without all three of you!” I was just as shocked when the words flew out of my mouth. I couldn’t care for all of them.

  But I did.

I shouldn’t even indulge in the thought of wanting them.

  But I was.

Damien opened his eyes wide, bringing my hand to his mouth and kissing every finger in a slow and delicate manner.

“Don’t do that. We can’t allow him to do this on his own. He’s going to get himself killed.” I struggled with saying the words.

“He’ll be all right.” Aleks pressed the spacebar on the computer. “We need to get ready and leave. We have a long drive.”

“How did he leave? What aren’t you telling me?”

“Relax, Carina. He got a taxi to the airport,” Damien said allowing me to yank my hand away.

“He’s going back to Baton Rouge. Isn’t he?” I looked from one to the other. “Just tell me. There’s nothing I can do.”

“Yeah. He has a plan and we’re going to allow him to work through it. Trust. Remember?” Damien said quietly.

Trust was something I would forever have difficulty obtaining, even though what the three men had shown me at least allowed a certain amount to ease the heartache. However, I was terrified for Ruger. Whatever he was planning would be dangerous, the kind of action that only a man like him could provide.

I didn’t argue nor fight them as we moved toward the van. Both men had guns in their hands, not taking any chances. I couldn’t help but wonder if I’d be forced to live this kind of world for the rest of my life. Always looking over my shoulder. Always concerned that someone was hiding in the bushes.

There’d been nothing else earth shattering on the news, just the same reports as before, the pictures of Santana still giving me shivers. I had the distinct feeling that he would come for me, refusing to give up on his promise.

I was given the passenger seat during the drive and we were all self-absorbed in our thoughts. I couldn’t get the dream out of my mind nor the experiences I’d shared with all three men during the last few days, which now seemed like a lifetime. Everything in my world had changed. Even if I could reclaim my life and my career, I certainly didn’t want to stay in a city that seemed to have more corrupt players than law abiding ones.

I’d fought my entire life to right wrongs, believing in the best in people. Now? I believed in very little any longer.

A little over eight hours later, we arrived at our destination. There’d been no attempts on our life, no odd phone calls, although Damien continued to look at what had to be a new burner phone. Whatever plans Ruger had made, he’d done so with their help, keeping me out of the loop. I wanted to say I was angry, but I knew they were simply trying to protect me.

As if that really mattered any longer.

I could smell the ocean air when I eased out of the van, taking a deep breath and savoring the scent of salt and sand. We’d backtracked, although taking a veer to the south.

  Hilton Head.

The house was majestic, hovering just over the ocean water. I didn’t bother asking how the location had been found, or who owned the house, although I guessed this was something that Aleks had acquired. He was still a mystery, a man with a quiet demeanor and a heart that continued to break for the loss of his wife.

I stood on the back deck barely ten minutes later, gazing out at the ocean. The afternoon setting sun was beautiful, adding crisp colors of tangerine and fuchsia to the horizon, the waves dancing as they neared the shore. I’d always been fascinated by the water, the calming effects of the rolling sea.

Still, nothing would calm me today, not until I knew that Ruger was safe.

I heard the door opening and in truth, I was able to at least smile.

“Did you mean what you said?” Damien asked as he moved to the railing.

  “About?”

  “Caring for all of us.”

“I...” I wanted to give him an honest answer. “I’ve never been able to care for anyone. I think what happened all those years ago created a shift in the way I feel about relationships.”

  “Your father.”

“He was never around, always off on business trips, but when he showed up, both my mother and I feared him.”

“You loved Ruger,” he said almost in a whisper.

“I did. I’m not certain the girl of seventeen truly understood what love meant, especially given my home life, but I thought of him every night.” I laughed softly at the memories. I was so naïve then. Perhaps I still am. “There’s no such thing as happy ever after.”

“I don’t believe that, Carina. I think there can be, at least with sacrifices made.”

I thought about his words. “You’re right. I’d be willing to give up what little I have to be happy.”

Damien moved closer, taking me into his arms. “I’ve done so many things I’m not proud of, but I’m not a bad man. Not really anyway. I lost my way, fighting to find the man I’d always wanted to be.”

“We’ve all done things we’re not proud of. We all lost our way fighting to find ourselves.”

He fingered my lips, tracing a circle around them as he lowered his head. “I do care for you more than I can say, Carina. I’m falling in love with you. I know I’m not Ruger, but I am right here, willing to die to protect you. Unfortunately, my life means nothing.”

I gripped his arms, fingering his powerful muscles. “Your life means something to me, Damien. We have an electric connection. You’re amazing and strong, giving and I can see through those dazzling eyes of yours into such an incredible heart. Don’t allow your demons to stop you from achieving your dreams.”

“I don’t have any dreams, not any longer. Besides, a man like me shouldn’t be allowed to dream.”

“I don’t know who hurt you or why, but I’m here to tell you that you deserve the world.”

He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath before growling and crushing his mouth over mine, yanking me tightly against his chest. The feel of him, the way he held me was entirely different than before.

  Just as possessive.

  Just as dominating.

But he wanted me for an entirely different reason.

He needed me to heal his soul.

Fisting my hair, he held me in place as the kiss continued, his tongue dancing with mine, his heart racing just like mine. I fell into the passionate embrace, lightheaded and eager to learn more about this man on his terms. Not because he was required to perform a job. Not because he was protecting me.

But because he...was falling in love.

The light wind wafted across both of us, a slight whistling as the waves hit the shoreline and for those few precious seconds, I was lost in him.

When he finally eased back, nipping my lower lip, he exhaled then looked toward the shoreline. “We’ll get through this. I promise you.”

  “I know.”

If only my heart would believe it.

The single night turned into a second. Then a third. There was little additional information on the news and even Aleks’ contacts had been quiet. I was completely despondent, unable to eat or sleep.

I sat huddled in a blanket, an almost full glass of wine in my hand, the deck chair the single piece of furniture that had given me any comfort or satisfaction. The light was waning, twilight settling in, the stars brightly shining. There was no recourse, no plan that I’d been told and at this point, I could barely breathe.

I heard the door and tried to smile. Both Aleks and Damien had attempted to make me feel better, preparing food and plying me with wine, but almost nothing had any flavor. I’d been forced to look at the various phases of my life, facing the demons I’d long since shoved into a little black box with a huge padlock.

My secrets had nearly eaten me alive.

Now, they could be destroying everything and everyone I cared for.

“They say staring at the ocean will give you all the answers you need.” />
I heard the voice, the deep husky tone that had always stifled my breathing. As if in slow motion, I turned my head, trying to make out the hulking shadow standing in front of me. “Ruger? Oh, God.”

He knelt down beside me, taking my hand. “I’m safe and it’s over.”

  “What? How? When? Who?”

“I called in a few favors,” Ruger said as he brushed the backs of his fingers across my face.

“Has Lucian been arrested? What about Dan? Was Santana really released from prison? They didn’t dare press any charges against you. Right? If they did, I will set them straight, somehow. Tell me everything.” I heard the demanding tone in my voice and bit my lower lip, inching closer and closer to him.

Laughing, he took the wine glass out of my hand, reaching across and sliding it onto the table. “We have plenty of time for that. Right now, all three of us have something else in mind.”

As he gathered me into his arms, cradling me against his chest, I remained in disbelief, my heart swelling.

“I love you, baby and I’m never going to let you go.” Lowering his head, he pressed his lips against mine, gently sliding his tongue inside my mouth. The taste of him was intense, ripe with need.

He left the door open, the ocean breeze sweeping inside as he carried me through the house. Every part of me was shaking from raging desire as well as anticipation, the longing so intense that I could barely think straight. His lips never left mine as he stormed down the hallway, taking long strides.

The joy and relief I felt inside was glorious, but the bliss from having his arms around me telling.

I was in love with this man. In fact, I was in love with all three of them. There was no rhyme or reason for the way we felt about each other, four damaged souls who’d learn to rely on each other, to trust each other. I knew what would be said, but I honestly didn’t care.

Dozens of candles had been lit, their flames dancing like beacons of sin, creating a luminescent glow. As Ruger swung me around, allowing me to see the other two, I shuddered, my pussy quivering. Both Aleks and Damien stood naked, their cocks at full attention.

“You planned this,” I whispered. I couldn’t take my eyes off their chiseled bodies, broad shoulders leading to a thin waist, chiseled hips and those incredibly long and very muscular legs.

Ruger eased me down, twirling me around in a circle. “We’re going to devour you and you need to keep something in mind.” His whisper was hoarse.

  “What?” I breathed.

“We own you.” The penetrating look in his eyes was all powerful, stunning even in the shadows.

I wanted to belong to them. I craved nothing more than submitting to them. All three. At one time. The thought was delicious indeed.

Rough hands grabbed me, yanking me away from his hold, tugging me first into one hard body then the other. Damien growled as he wrapped his fingers around my hair, yanking back my head and dragging his tongue down my cheek, nipping my earlobe. “Are you ready to be fucked, little girl?”

  “Uh-huh.”

A hard smack against my bottom made me squeal. “Yes, sir.”

“Better. You’ll learn,” he muttered then bit down on my neck as he cupped my breast, using his thumb and forefinger to pinch my nipple.

The instant slice of pain was delicious, sending a shower of electric current dancing down my legs.

Aleks refused to be denied, intertwining my fingers in his and tugging me closer. He cupped the back of my head, holding me in place as he tongued my lips then captured my mouth. As he dipped me into a deep arc, his other hand caressing my cheek, I closed my eyes, imagining all the sinful, filthy things they were going to do to me.

He rolled his tongue against mine, taking full control, the kiss becoming a sweltering need. I could hear his ragged breathing, knew by the tenseness in his muscles that he was hungrier than ever.

My nipples were so hard and aching, my pussy clenching with every touch, every swipe of their fingers. I couldn’t get enough of them. I couldn’t imagine being without them.

Aleks broke the hold, staring down at me, his chest rising and falling. Using just two fingers, he slid the straps of my cotton dress down my shoulders, caressing my arms with the pads of his fingers as he followed the trail. When gravity took the material to the floor, exposing my naked breasts, he sucked in his breath.

“So beautiful,” he whispered. “You’re an incredible woman.”

Purring, I slipped my hand between us, dancing my fingers up and down his throbbing shaft. He was rock hard, his balls so tight and when I squeezed ever so gently, he let out a guttural moan.

Another hand pulled me away, back into Ruger’s arms. I palmed his naked chest, marveling at the way his muscles felt, chiseled from the finest stone. Leaning over, I licked around his nipple, mewling with ever swipe of my tongue.

“You’re such a tease,” he managed, whispering the words.

“Mmm... Always. I thought you liked that I was a naughty vixen.”

“Perhaps,” he said, laughing. “You’re still disobedient.” Ruger eased his hands down my back, cupping my buttocks. “We’ll take care of that. Daily.”

The words thrilled me, creating a series of tingles. I’d never been this aroused, able to enjoy every minute of being with them.

He guided me toward the bed, forcing me on top. I remained on my hands and knees as the three gorgeous men moved closer, standing in an almost perfect formation. Waiting.

  Hungering.

My heart racing, thumping in an irregular pattern, I crawled forward, darting licks around Ruger’s cockhead. Then I moved to Damien’s, repeating the move then finally Aleksandr’s. Their musky taste filled my mouth as I licked first one then the others, swirling my tongue around in lazy circles. They were all thick and hard, their cocks throbbing.

Even in the shimmering light, I could see that their eyelids were half closed, all three men drowning in their burning desire. I wanted to tease them for hours, bringing them to the brink of ecstasy and pulling back, just like they’d done to me several times.

Somehow, I knew that would garner me another round of harsh discipline. No risk. No reward. As the words settled into my mind, I rolled just the tip of my little finger down the underside of Ruger’s cock, tickling his balls as I drew his bulbous cockhead into my mouth. The moment I squeezed my mouth muscles, sucking on him vigorously, his legs began to shake.

I rolled my hand around the base, twisting until I knew the friction was driving him insane. I took him down an inch at a time, my tongue constantly moving back and forth. Then I released him, allowing a tiny popping noise to filter into the air.

He groaned, the sound more like a famished animal as I moved to Damien’s cock, lifting his magnificent shaft and licking down the underside. The taste of him was even sweeter, causing my mouth to water even more.

Damien slapped one hand on my head, digging his fingers in as he held me, jutting his hips forward in his own method of begging. I mewed, rubbing my lips all the way up until I was able to lick around the tip.

“Sweet Jesus. Your mouth is so hot,” he managed, taking several deep breaths.

I repeated the move, barely tickling his balls with my tongue before crawling closer to Aleks.

“Damn, woman. I’m going to...explode,” Damien huffed.

“All good things come to those who wait,” I whispered in a husky manner.

“All bad things come to sinful girls,” he answered, chuckling under his breath.

Aleks stared at me, his soulful eyes digging into my very soul. He was still haunted, even though I could sense a change in the man, a slight healing that I hoped would continue. I took his glorious shaft into both hands, taking my time sucking the tip for a full minute, rolling my tongue in swirls and circles.

His breathing became ragged, his eyes finally closing,

I took him down slowly, enjoying the taste and the way his mouth forced my muscles to ache. He was so large, filling me completely. I could barely sto
p thinking about them fucking me, taking every hole. I continued licking and sucking as I relaxed my throat, the tip finally hitting the roof of my mouth.

“Yes. Yes!” Aleks moaned, tossing back his head. He finally placed both hands on the sides of my face, slowly moving his cock in and out, taking full control.

I rolled his balls between my fingers, my eyes never leaving me as he face fucked me, driving in harder. Faster. I struggled to breathe as his actions grew more brutal, taking me.

  Claiming me.

He was unlike the man I’d known before, so full of a savage need that I was almost in shock.

His growls were barbaric as he slid in and out, his head tossing back and forth. He finally took a step back, breaking our connection. “Not this way. Not yet. I need to be inside of you.” The look on his face remaining carnal, he shoved me down onto my back, immediately pushing my legs up and back as he fell to his knees. “Now, I feast.”

The moment he swirled his tongue around my clit, I let out a bedraggled moan, clenching my hands around the comforter. I was so wet, aching to have his cock buried deep inside, but he refused to give in to my needs.

Aleksandr licked and nipped my clit several times, his eyes never leaving me. He slipped two fingers inside my pussy, flexing them wide open as he thrust in and out. The combination was almost too much, my skin tingling and my legs quaking.

I sensed Ruger had crawled onto the bed, finally leaning over and kissing my lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck, holding him, my fingers intertwining in his long, silky hair. I loved the way he kissed, his lips pressing against mine, his tongue devouring me.

He pinched my nipples, twisting and pulling, creating the most intense wave of anguish.

Aleksandr licked all the way up and down, two fingers turning into three then four, pumping in and out. He growled the entire time, so guttural and husky in nature, the sound filling my ears, generating an even larger wave of desire.

There was no way I could feel any more sensations, fire ripping through every cell and nerve. When Aleksandr pulled away, I moaned into the kiss, kicking out.

Only to have another set of hands splitting me even wider, exposing everything I had. Damien was rough as he licked, dragging his tongue up and down in languishing actions. Two fingers slipped inside my pussy, another two in my asshole.
