Yes, Alfred will wait, for his rescue. Somehow he believes he will get off this island; alive. The days and nights grow long. Still he waits. The most agonizing for Alfred, is not the walls that he finds himself, within these months. It is the knowing of how much Thomas, will be disappointed. With the time that has passed Alfred, has come to realize, he has allowed himself, to indulge in monstrous acts. He has become a victim of his own genes, and childhood abuse. He, himself, unable to find a cure for any other, never mind, himself. Yes, Mildred, his mother, has won this war. And Thomas’s ideas, are now washed within the seas, of doom. Alfred is no more a proclaimed hero, than his own father. Alfred has tarnished his father’s, name and all of his, work. The only hope Alfred can hold on to, is Kate.

It is a cold, blustery winter’s night, in January, when Alfred, is awakened by the sound of two voices. The monster within himself, awakens. A small smirk crosses his thin lips “Finally”.

The Characters and this Novel are all fictional.

There was a great need to find a home for Alfred.

North Brother’s Island contains much of its own, historical and eventful stories. Alfred, I assure you, is not one of them.

After living some of my own life history I am aware of the Genetic Genes within our human bodies. I am often asked “How is it, I have become so normal from such a messed up life?”

This is the madness, which I feel gives the power to the human Ego. Are we truly all to inherit our blood lines and the abuses many face? I believe my Friends it takes a Strong Will, to escape the torture within.

Then again….. After this …. Am I So NORMAL?

Alfred, just may see you in the next ….
