Kayne’s Fury: A Savage Saints MC Novel Page 7

by Lombard, J. Lynn

Poison settles her hand on my shoulder and swings her right leg over, snuggling in behind me, wrapping her arms around my waist brushing my aching cock, her pussy and tits pressed against my back, her heat penetrating my body. Blayde, Stryker, Axel and I fire up our bikes and the vibration settles my nerves. I rev the motor and don’t hear the car pulling up behind us.

Blayde’s blue eyes grow wide before he brings out his .40 caliber from his cut, firing at the car behind me. I duck and punch the gas, zigzagging around the parking lot, dodging bullets flying in our direction. Poison’s grip tightens around my waist and I quickly ride out of the parking lot. Blayde, Stryker and Axel are hot on my tail, firing back at the car chasing us. We weave in and out of cars and trucks, running red lights and stop signs, riding at top speed.

Blayde pulls up next to me, signaling me to slow down. I let off the gas and pull into a shopping mall parking lot, drive around back and shut my bike off. I kick my kickstand down, climb off my bike and pace back and forth on the concrete. Unclasping my brain bucket, I send it flying in the other direction. My hands are shaking, adrenaline is fueling my system.

“Who the fuck was that?” I roar and punch the green garbage container next to me. I keep hitting it over and over until blood coats my hands and my rage is back under control. I drop my hands to my knees, bending over, catching my breath.

Warm hands run through my hair, settling my nerves. “Are you OK?” Poison asks quietly.

I look up into her face and worry etches her hazel eyes. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.” She wraps her arms around my neck, forcing me to stand while I keep apologizing for putting her life in danger.

Blayde with Siren on the back, Stryker and Axel pull in behind us, but none of them get off their bikes. They keep looking between me and the side of the building, watching for another threat. We let our guard down today and felt we were invincible that no one could touch us. We were sloppy and not watching our surroundings that almost got someone killed.

“It’s not your fault, Kayne,” Poison runs her hands through my hair, holding me to her. “There’s nothing to be sorry about. We’re all alive and here.” Poison keeps her hands around my neck, holding me close. Her face rests in the crook of my neck sending need and lust through my body. I wrap my bloody hands around her back, pulling her against me. “It’s not your fault. I bring havoc and destruction to everyone around me. Hence, my road name, Poison. But thank you for saving my life, again.”

“I’ll do it every time Poison. Every. Time. You are not cursed, nor is what happened your fault. I promise I will protect you. We all will.” I kiss the corner of her head, over her bruise and work my way down to her plump lips. She opens her mouth for me. I plunge my tongue inside her hot, wet mouth, claiming her as mine. Lust fills my veins as she kisses me back, rubbing her body against mine. She’s mine, all mine and I’m never letting her go.

  Poison

Kayne’s tongue is in my mouth, his hands are squeezing my ass, pushing my aching core against his hard length, causing heat to pool between my legs. A moan escapes my throat making Kayne kiss me harder. His scent enveloping my senses, I want him. I need him. He’s mine.

A whistle rings out, breaking our little bliss and my heart is beating hard against my chest. Taking a deep breath, I turn my head and see almost everyone watching us. Blayde has a shit eating grin on his face, Siren isn’t looking our way. Her arms are crossed over her chest, sitting as far away as she can on the back of Blayde’s Harley. Stryker doesn’t look happy either. He has a cigarette hanging from his mouth and a scowl on his goatee covered face. Axel, in all his six-foot-six muscled build, is impassive and unimpressed. Well fuck them all, I’m not here to impress them. I’m here for the man hanging onto me like his life and sanity depends on my safety.

“Prez, we need to roll out and update everyone.” Stryker grunts.

“Do we know who that was?” Kayne asks, his deep voice vibrating my ear.

Blayde nods his head but doesn’t say a word. The grin he’s been sporting is gone, replaced by a deadly gleam in his cold blue eyes.

Kayne turns my head toward him, “We have a lot to figure out. Come on.” He kisses me one last time and releases his hold on my body. We walk together to his bike. He gets on, waiting for me. I swing my eyes toward Siren, but she’s still refusing to look at me. I sigh deeply and climb on the back of Kayne’s bike, wrap my arms around his waist and settle my head on his back, closing my eyes fighting back more tears. He fires up his Harley and the rest do the same.

We arrive at Savage Saints clubhouse and I peel myself off Kayne’s back. The rest of the ride was uneventful and I don’t remember the actual ride. I was lost in my own head and think I fell asleep for a few moments. The sun is high in the sky, it’s blistering heat is making my attire stick to me. I need my own clothes.

I dismount Kayne’s bike, take my helmet off and wait for him to join me before we head inside. I look to the left and see Blayde pull in. Siren’s arms are still crossed over her chest, she’s sitting as far back as she can on the seat. I’m going to have to get to the bottom of whatever’s pissed her off. She’s all I have left in this fucked up world.

Siren climbs off Blayde’s bike, unstraps her helmet with jerking motions and tosses it to him. She walks to the side of the house, lights up a cigarette, inhales the smoke deep into her lungs and releases. Her body relaxes a little, so I approach her. She doesn’t say a word but pulls out a cigarette and hands it to me along with her lighter. I take the cigarette, light it and inhale the smoke. Letting it out I turn to her, she still has her arms across her chest, but her body language isn’t as hostile as earlier.

  “Siren we need to talk.”

“Yeah, it appears we do. Listen, I don’t care that you and Kayne are seeing each other or whatever it is you’re doing. I care that you lied to me all these years. I thought I could trust you.” She turns toward me and her green eyes are filled with tears. She blinks them away before continuing. “It hurts Poison. Knowing that you’ve kept this from me. Me, your best friend. I would have understood.” She points to her chest. “I wouldn’t have told a soul. Not even that egotistical asshole that was your sperm donor. Why? Why didn’t you tell me?” Siren’s tears are now falling down her cheeks in rapids succession, making me cry too.

“I wish I did. I made a mistake. One I will not repeat again. I promise you, Siren. I will never lie to you again. I’m so sorry.” I gather her tiny body in my arms and together we cry. We cry for our family, our loved ones who died too early. Together we grieve our losses and count our blessing that we’re still here. We’re still alive.

“Are you ready to go in and meet the rest of the Savage Saints?” I ask, drying my tears with my palms.

“Can we trust them? I need to know that we’re not setting ourselves up.” Siren wipes away her tears.

Releasing a deep breath, I tell Siren about what my father set up years ago. I tell her about everything from the moment I met Kayne and Blayde to our first drop with the Irish.

Sitting at the bar stool in the kitchen of the clubhouse, I have my headphones in, playing the metal thrasher song Headless by Nagazi, a local band whom I know from growing up in this small town, on repeat. The deep lyrics of the frontman call to me, taking away my problems. I’m lost in the music when someone taps me on my shoulder, causing me to jump and spin around, almost falling out of my seat. Siren is standing behind me, covering her mouth with her palm so I can’t see her laughing.

I yank my earbuds out and glare at her. “Dude, what the fuck was that for?”

“Sorry, I was talking to you, but you didn’t answer,” she sits down next to me. “What are your plans for tonight?”

“I’m not sure yet. What did you have in mind?”

A patch whore comes stumbling into the kitchen wearing a long t-shirt and pink thong. Her bleach blonde hair is sticking up all over the place and she looks like someone ran her over with
a semi. Both Siren and I roll our eyes at the sight before us.

“Is it just me or are they getting worse and worse? It seems like every day, there’s a new one here that’ll spread her legs for the latest blow.” I ask Siren with disgust. These whores are getting out of hand, but do you think my father will listen to me? Fuck no. He’s inviting them in and fucking them along with the rest of the guys. It’s so degrading.

Siren grabs my hand, leading us out of the kitchen. “Come on, let’s go up to your room. They repulse me too. I feel like I need another shower after seeing her. I’ll bet she has come coming out of all her holes.” Siren speaks loud enough I know the Patch whore heard her.

We head up the stairs together and I unlock my bedroom door. Inside my room, I have a king size bed next to the window covered with a black and white comforter, an oak dresser with a T.V. on top in front of my bed, a matching stand next to one side of the bed with a picture of me and my mom, a lamp and alarm clock on it. Across the room are my walk-in closet and attached bathroom. I have the biggest room in the house, no thanks to my father. It was MadDog who moved me in here one day when I was around thirteen. He told my father that I needed a bigger room and more privacy. Drex was pissed that MadDog wanted me to have this room for some reason, but that day, all my stuff was moved in along with a brand-new bed. He said because I was the daughter of the President, I should have this room.

Siren bounces on my bed and grabs the remote. She turns on the fifty-inch T.V. and finds some talk show playing. I settle in next to her and for the next few hours we watch some lady who claims who her baby-daddy is his only to find out, that was a lie. Poor guy didn’t know what hit him when the truth came out and the baby-daddy was actually his twin brother. We laughed at the crazy woman on the show and felt bad for the little girl mixed up with this fucked up family.

A knock on my door startles me and Siren turns off the T.V. I open the door and Drex is standing on the other side, a cold gleam in his brown eyes. “It’s time, grab your shit.” He turns around and walks away. Fucking asshole.

I close my bedroom door and smile to Siren even though it doesn’t reach my eyes. “Looks like I have other plans tonight. I don’t know how late I’m going to be, but you’re more than welcome to stay in here while I’m gone.”

“Where are you going?” She asks, concern in her green eyes.

“I have to do some errands for fuckhead, I mean Drex. I will probably be really late.” I hate lying to her and not tell her where I’m going in case something bad happens, but I can’t. MadDog knows where I’m going, that’ll have to be enough.

“I’ll just head down to the strip club. Call me when you get back.” Siren slides her slender body off my bed and stands.

“Don’t dance for those assholes, please. You’re so much better than that.” I plead.

“I won’t, I promise. But I feel comfortable there. If you’re not here, I don’t want to stay here either.” She has a faraway look in her eyes like something has happened or is happening. The hair on the back of my neck stands on end. I need to talk to MadDog and see if he can keep an eye on her.

“OK, I’ll see you when I get back. You have my spare key, right?” I gave Siren an extra key to my room so she can come in here and crash anytime she wants.

“Yeah, I have it. Please be safe out there.”

  “I will. Love you.”

  “Love you, too.”

Siren leaves my room and I grab a bag under my bed. I quickly change from the pair of shorts and tank top I was wearing to a pair of black skinny jeans, a black tank top under a blue one and a black flannel with our club logo on the back. I put my blonde hair into a messy ponytail, leaving little pieces down to frame my face. I fix my make-up, putting on black eyeliner that makes my hazel eyes pop, and lip gloss.

Once I’m satisfied with the outcome and put some of my favorite Pure Romance perfume on, I put everything I need in my black duffle bag on my bed. A change of clothes, my nine-mil Glock with an extra clip, and an extra knife. I slip my feet into a pair of black Harley Davidson riding boots that come up to my calf. I slip a knife in my right boot and a .38 Caliber in the holster on my side, under my flannel. I zip up my bag and walk out of my room. It’s showtime and these boys won’t know what hit them.

MadDog is waiting for me in the kitchen. His arms are crossed over his huge chest, his hazel eyes are narrowed and murderous. I offer him a smile, but he doesn’t smile back, looking me over.

“Got everything you need?” His voice is rough.

“Yup.” I pat my right side, my boot, and bag. He nods his head and walks out the back door.

“I don’t like this, Sarah,” MadDog says, stopping me in my tracks when we’re near my SUV. He only calls me by my real name when he’s worried. “You watch your back out there. Kayne can be trusted and he will protect you, but what you’re walking into worries me.” We’re hiding in the dark of the night, no one can see us out here. He steps closer to me and rests his hands on my shoulders, staring into my eyes. “Please, be careful. I don’t know what I’d do if I lost you. You’re like the daughter I’ve always wanted but never had.” He pulls me into his warm embrace and kisses the top of my head. MadDog might come off as an asshole in front of everyone, but he’s always treated me like his own child and I will forever be grateful to him for it. He’s always watched my back and protected me.

“I promise I will be careful and keep you updated. I have my phone in my back pocket and the GPS turned on so you know where I’m at all times. Thank you MadDog.” He gently kisses my head again and lets me go. “One more thing. Can you keep an eye on Siren? I have a weird feeling something is going on.”

  “Consider it done.”

I climb into my SUV, tossing my bag in the passenger seat and close my door. I start it and drive off, not looking into my rearview mirror. My nerves are shot and I light up a cigarette driving toward the meeting place.

Once I arrive at a nondescript warehouse, I pull around out back and turn off my SUV. I sit in silence while I wait for Kayne and the others to arrive contemplating a plan in my head. If Kayne can be trusted, like MadDog thinks, this could work. No one knows what I’ve got up my sleeve, but they will soon enough.

The familiar rumble of Harleys fill the silent night. I grab my duffle bag, a pack of cigarettes and phone before climbing out of my SUV and closing my door. I light up another smoke, inhaling it deep into my lungs and lean up against the door. A single headlight appears from around the corner, shining brightly in my direction. My heart skips a beat thinking about the sexy man from the club with a rock hard body, long lean legs and tattoos covering his arms, trailing under his white t-shirt and black cut.

Four bikes and a van stop, cutting their engines. The van turned so the driver side is facing us, hiding us from anyone who’d come around the corner. Kayne removes his helmet, his muscled arms flexing with the movement. His blonde hair is messy from the ride and I have to fight the urge to run my fingers through it.

What the fuck is wrong with me? I can’t show any interest in this man or we’re both dead. Kayne dismounts his bike and I watch his tight ass as he stops for a minute, talking to the other man that was with him at the meeting at Deadly Sins. He lights up a cigarette, the flame glowing on his stubbled face, and turns in my direction, studying me. He approaches me, his black jeans snug on his legs and hips, a black Harley Davidson belt wrapped around his narrow waist, white t-shirt and leather cut defining his strength, his blue eyes are narrowed and deadly, focused on me. I swallow hard when Kayne studies me from head to toe and back up again. His eyes linger on my full chest before they make their way up to my face. I fight the urge to cross my legs and relieve some pressure, I do the next best thing. I turn on my bitch mode.

“Got a fucking problem?” I ask, crossing my arms under my chest, pushing my tits up further. His eyes drop to my chest and back up again, making my willpower crumble.

“Nope,” Kayne responds, popping the P. The deep vibration of
his voice sends shockwaves to my system. I could listen to him talk all night. “Let’s get this fucking shit show over with. I’ll introduce you to my brothers.”

We walk over to the other bikes, side by side. Our shoulders touching every few steps, causing my heart to beat harder against my chest and my hand's sweat. Kayne points to the man that was with him at the meeting with my father.

“This is Blayde, my VP.” Blayde doesn’t say a word, his ice blue eyes are on my face, watching me. He offers me a small nod of his head but that’s it. Kayne points to the man sitting on his Harley, behind Blayde, “This is Stryker, my Enforcer.” Stryker nods his head. “Next to him is Axel, behind them in the van is the Prospect, Duke, who you’ll be riding with.”

I blanch at Kayne telling me what I will do. “Fuck no. I’m driving myself.” I state, crossing my arms over my chest. I’d stomp my foot if it didn’t make me look like an idiot.

“No, you’re fucking not,” Kayne growls, stepping into my space. His low and deadly voice sends a shot of lust between my legs. “Listen here little girl, I didn’t want to do these runs, but I have no fucking choice, thanks to your father. Now get in the fucking van before I personally throw you in it.” Kayne’s hot breath is fanning across my neck, sending shivers down my spine. “Then I’ll spank that fine ass until it’s red from my palms. Move. It.”

I stare into his cold blue eyes, challenging him. “I’ll do what the fuck I want. If I want to ride in that van, I will. If I want to drive myself, I will. Don’t tell me what the fuck I will and won’t do. That’ll only get you hurt in the end.” I turn on my heels and head toward the van, swaying my hips more than normal. I need to pick my battles with this man and honestly, my nerves are too shot to drive myself.

Before I open the passenger side door, a large scarred hand snakes around it, keeping it closed, entrapping me against the cold metal and a hot body. The smell of leather, exhaust, and sandalwood turn my knees weak. Kayne’s breath is hot on my neck. Desire thrumming through my body. It’s just the two of us alone on this side. He pushes his body against my back and I can feel his hardness against my ass. I stifle a moan.
