"What...?" I opened it and the world just sort of stopped.
Two airplane tickets -- to Nova Scotia. I swallowed. We'd talked about it, but got busy with life. I looked up finally and found him watching me.
"When do we leave?"
Vincent smiled. "Next Friday. I'm taking vacation time. A whole week -- just us. No patients, no phone, no bullshit, just us."
"When did you plan this?"
"Already had the week picked and set up at work. Bought the tickets the other day -- when I found out your little secret."
"Oh." I felt myself blush and I sank down into the seat a little.
Vincent just laughed. "Have you learned nothing over this past weekend?"
"Like...?"
The waiter came by with a basket of bread sticks and took our drink order. When he was out of earshot, Vincent leaned forward a little, voice dropping an octave.
"Like what happens when you hide important shit from your lover."
"It's not something I ever really thought about, honestly. It's..." I sighed and raked a hand through my hair. "Jeez, Vince, it's embarrassing as fuck."
"Oh, I don't doubt that." He sat back when the waiter returned with our drinks. Food orders out of the way, Vincent waited until the waiter walked away again before continuing. "I'm going to need to get an exam table for the playroom at home, though."
I choked on my beer. "You're kidding."
"Why would I be? You have any idea how fucking hot it was to spread you open like that?"
It was growing a bit warm and I cleared my throat. "Vince, you're my doctor. You gave me my first legitimate prostate exam, for God's sake."
"Yeah, but not with the intention of hearing you scream my name."
Good God. "Never thought I'd be having this conversation with my physician," I muttered.
Vincent chuckled. "Never thought I'd actually enjoy giving a pelvic exam."
I groaned and let my head fall back against the booth seat. "Not here," I countered. "Oh, no. You are not getting me hard in the middle of a restaurant."
"I could always make you put the plug in."
"Fuck." I shuddered. "That thing is brutal."
"That's the idea." He picked up his jacket and pulled something out of one of the pockets. He reached under the table and tapped my knee with it. When I took it, I shook my head.
"Vince. Not here. Please."
His eyes narrowed, the look stern. "Move it."
Barely stifling the growl, I got up and managed to slip the damn thing into my pocket. It made an obscene bulge and I hurried back to the bathroom, praying no one noticed. I swore I heard Vincent laugh.
Once inside a stall, I undid my jeans and shoved them down. The plug was actually rather nice -- in looks, at least. Granted, it felt damn good inside, too, but that also came with the fact that it was pure torture. I didn't see a switch on it anywhere, which meant only one thing. The bastard had a remote in his pocket. I couldn't get out of this, either. He'd check the second we got home. Resigned to a long dinner, I spat on my fingers and slicked my asshole, biting my lip to stop myself from making a sound. Then I reached back and pushed the damn plug in, hole spasming around the base.
After getting myself tucked back into my jeans, I went out to the table. The second I sat down, I nearly jumped back up. Instead, I gripped the table edge and glared at Vincent.
"You're a cruel son of a bitch."
The plug's vibrations kicked up another notch. "Which is why you're marrying me in a week."
