  #3 THE JOINING STONE

By Noelle Berry McCue Anger and desire warred within her, but Tara Burns was determined not to let Damon Mallory know her feelings. When he'd walked out of their

marriage, she'd been hurt. Damon had violated a sacred trust, yet her passion for him was as breathtaking as the Grand Canyon.

  #4 SILVER MIRACLES

By Fayrene Preston Silver-haired Chase Colfax stood in the Texas moonlight, then took Trinity Ann Warrenton into his arms. Overcome by her own needs, yet determined to have him on her own terms, she struggled to keep from losing herself in his passion.

  #5 MATCHING WITS

By Carla Neggers From the moment they met, Ryan Davis tried to outmaneuver Abigail Lawrence. She'd met her match in the Back Bay businessman. And Ryan knew the Boston lawyer was more woman than any he'd ever encountered. Only if they vanquished their need to best the other could their love triumph.

#6 A LOVE POR ALL TIME

  By Dorothy Garlock

A car crash had left its

marks on Casey Farrow's beauty. So what were Dan Murdocks motives for pursuing her? Guilt? Pity? Casey had to choose. She could live with doubt and fear ... or learn a lesson in love.

#7 A TRYST WITH MR. LINCOLN?

By Billie Green When Jiggs O'Malley awakened in a strange hotel room, all she saw were the laughing eyes of stranger Matt Brady . . . all she heard were his teasing taunts about their "night together" . . . and all she remembered was nothing! They evaded the passions that intoxicated them until. . . there was nowhere to flee but into each other's arms.

  #8 TEMPTATION'S STING

By Helen Conrad Taylor Winfield likened Rachel Davidson to a Co-nus shell, contradictory and impenetrable. Rachel battled for independence, torn by her need for Taylor's embraces and her impassioned desire to be

her own woman. Could they both succumb to the temptation of the tropical paradise and still be true to their hearts?

  #9 DECEMBER 32nd • . . AND ALWAYS

By Marie Michael Blaise Hamilton made her feel like the most desirable woman on earth. Pat opened herself to emotions she'd thought buried with her late husband. Together they were unbeatable as they worked to build the jet of her late husband's dreams. Time seemed to be running out and yet—would ALWAYS be long enough?

  #10HARDDRIVIN*

  MAN

By Nancy Carlson Sabrina sensed Jacy in hot pursuit, as she maneuvered her truck around the racetrack, and recalled his arms clasping her to him. Was he only using her feelings so he could take over her trucking company? Their passion knew no limits as they raced full speed toward love.

  continued from inside front cover

my own romances from beginning to end. When my youngest child started school this past year, I finally found the time to try.

I threw away my first attempt because I was dissatisfied with it. It didn't occur to me that I might have improved it through revisions (a concept introduced to me by a very patient editor, Elizabeth Barrett). I submitted my next effort to LOVESWEPT and was positively thrilled when it was accepted for publication.

Now for the vital statistics. I met my husband Bill when we were both nineteen and in college in Washington, D.C. We've been together ever since. He is now a lawyer and a truly liberated male, my partner, lover and very best friend. Bill can iron a shirt and bake a pie better than I can, and when our kids were tiny, they would call for Daddy when they woke up at night.

Our family includes our three daughters, Susan, Sarah and Christy, and three very spoiled cats. We are currently living in Sewickley Pennsylvania, a small town west of Pittsburgh. After ten years as an Air Force wife, living in such diverse places as Virginia, Mississippi, West Germany and New Jersey, I was more than ready to settle down in one place as a "civilian." Although I'm a registered nurse, I am currently retired from nursing so I have plenty of time to do the things I like best: taking care of my family, reading, collecting miniatures and Christmas ornaments, and of course, staring out the window and daydreaming. I'd like to add writing more romances to the agenda too.
