Irezlie

“I’m so sorry
my precious knight.”
He kept his eyes shut,
and his head.
barring his throat.
“How am I
your knight?
What are you sorry for?”
His voice was light,
underneath lay layers
of steely ice.
Her seductive voice
answered,
“You wear a suit,
made of the finest material.
Your suit is an armour
just of its own kind.”
His hand clenched
on his sword,
hidden beneath a silky clothe,
on the bench.
He knew her eyes
would trap him if
he looked at them.
He’d have to
fight this battle blind.
If lucky
he’d kill her on the
first strike.
She walked to the man
she knew he would
open his eyes.
The curse would thrust
seductive thoughts
into his mind.
They opened,
but did not look at her face.
He looked at her feet.
His eyes were dark,
and glinted with a
strange light.
The sword warmed
in his hand.
He tightened his hold.
Grimly, he smiled.
The sword knew where it belonged.
It was a
smart sword.
She knew,
by the end
of this
she’d no
longer be savable.
She lunged.
She would kill him quickly,
it was the least she could do.
He heard
the air move in front of him,
as she came for him.
He lifted the sword
and shoved
forward.
The blade
sunk
all
the
way
through her
body killing her
and
yet
he
felt
pain.
Death surrounds her.
It holds her close.
Energy closes around her.
Shadows change to light.
Part Four
Ending two
The Curse the Binds Her
Caring not a bit
Adoring humans
Never Understand
She always felt its call
Had to do as it demanded
Enclosing her to do its wishes
Listening to their cries
Or their shouts of joy
Vying for her attention
Eagerly coming to their deaths
Maybe she could find it
Yet the curse made that impossible
Knowing fully
Night after night
Ice hung in the air
Giving her
Heart
Trembling pain
Purely she was
Royalty of some kind
Every night he
Thought of her
There was never another woman since his wife
Yet she called to him like no other
Carefully he waited
Random thoughts circled him
Each different in every other way
Allowing some
To come
Understanding the importance
Raging through him
Evadable as the need to sleep
Finding him
Irezlie
Not only was saddened but
Determined not to give
Into the curse
Not caring about her life
Giving it up sounded easy.
Every night
At each passing hour
Centuries returned to her
Haunting Irezlie
Oath bound her
Teetering curse
Havoc and despair
Entering her feeling
Rasping noises echoing from her heart
Smiling as
Miracles do happen
Irezlie
Let the pull push
Inward
Not sure what it was. She just
Gave in
Sitting in the office
He felt
Enshrined with happiness
Gave into the
Attraction for the strange creature
Venturing into the unknown death
Entrapping him
It wrapped around them, consumed them,
Naming them soul mates.
The power was strong
Having at them
Ever slowly pulling Irezlie in
Cursing at the curse
Understanding what it was doing
Rage filled her
Supplying the energy
Enough to get away
Irezlie
Stayed still.
Broken at last
Realization sunk
On through
Knowing what happened
Enwrapping her mind
Night had come
Attention was only for
The full moon
Last months encounter had stayed
At last the
Special creature left his mind
The ties tied to him
Banished,
Ears heard,
Cries from,
Other worldly sounds.
Monsters screamed,
Irate at the lost.
Never did they think she’d
Give in to the curse and find the truth.
Hot teardrops fell
Under the full moon
Mixing with the rivers water
At the edge she lay
Naked. Waiting for her knight
Again he came even if he
Gained nothing. No
Advantages of otherworldly power
In love was the only award
Never would he thought he’d fall in love again
Love you
Irezlie be
my wife.
Do not
leave
me
