Get Out Of My Dreams Page 10

by Allan J. Lewis

The three monks looked at one another, and then one

spoke: “Lady Alice, I thought you were one of our young

novices.” He slid along the stone bench and made room for her in

the middle of them. “Joe, help her ladyship in here, quickly––the

both of you––it’s the only place to hide. The Sheriff’s men will

think you are a young lad.” He smiled at Alice.

Alice knew she was dreaming, and if she went in that big,

deep bath she would be having sex with three fat monks. She

shook her head. “Joe, I know you want to show me a good time,

and I know how your magic works.” Alice was looking at Joe,

who was hurriedly taking off his robe. There was a loud bang on

the door, and the panic was back in Alice as she gave a little

scream. Suddenly, the bathtub looked to be the only place to go.

Joe was already helping her out of her robe. Naked, she tiptoed

gingerly down the steps into the soapy water.

“Quickly, Lady Alice, over here,” the three monks said

  together.

Alice was drawn into the urgency of their tone. She also

knew what they had lurking under that soapy water for her, but

before she could say anything, Joe had joined her. They both

stood naked in front of the monks, with Joe trying to push her

toward where the monks were sitting. Alice planted her feet

stubbornly, refusing to go any further. “Joe, you impressed me

last night when you showed me how you worked your magic, but

now I want out of here.”

Alice was restless in her bed as she tried, in her dream, to

  resist the fantasy.

The Magic Man had never had someone under his

hypnosis resist him. He was at a loss for words and ideas as he

tried to keep the fantasy that he was enjoying going.

The banging on the door got louder. Suddenly, the door

burst open and two soldiers barged in. Alice’s natural reaction

was to sink into the water. Then, she brought up her head and

swept her hair back, and went and sat on the underwater bench.

The soapy water was up to her neck. “Joe, I’ve had enough; I’d

like out now, please,” Alice whispered.

“Sorry for interrupting, brothers.” The soldier looked

straight at Alice, smiled, and then looked at the two monks sitting

on either side of her. As the soldier got closer, the monks put

their arms around the lad to protect him. “But we are looking for

  someone.”

The older monk spoke out in disgust: “How dare you

burst into these private chambers, only brethren and novices are allowed in here!” He slid his hand under the soapy water, to

Alice’s bust, and pulled her closer to him. “Now get out!” Alice was looking up at the two soldiers who had just

entered the room. They were tall, young, and good looking. They

called her a lad––indeed––that was something no one would call

her. “Watch your tongue, soldier!” Alice spoke out of character,

thinking that if she stood up and showed them her tits, the men

wouldn’t call her a lad, then. “I know what you are doing, Joe,”

she said, turning to Friar Joe, “these two are better looking,

but…” Before she could say anymore, the soldiers had grasped

under her arms and lifted her out of the bath. Alice stood there,

naked and dripping wet, and made no attempt to cover up. She let

the soldiers and the monks all have a good gawk, knowing it was

  what Joe wanted.

“He didn’t sound like a lad, and he sure as hell don’t look

like one,” one of the soldiers said.

“Let’s get her dry and take this wench somewhere to

question her. She might know where Lady Alice is,” suggested

  the other soldier.

The two young men were looking at Alice, licking their

  lips with expectation.

Alice knew she should be feeling fear and excitement in

this part of her dream, but she was fighting it. “It’s no good, Joe.”

Alice looked over the top of the soldier who was toweling down

her legs. “I know your plan is to get these two to take me

somewhere and screw me.” She watched Joe as he got out of the

bath and put on his robe to hide his erection. “I’m sure I would

enjoy it, but…” Before she could finish her statement, one of the

soldiers had tossed Alice across his shoulder and was carrying

her out of the room, with Joe hurrying behind them. “Joe, this is

  not working,” Alice cried out.

The three monks had gotten out of the bath, their hands

covering their manhood. They were shouting their protests. “Put

that lass down; we’ve paid good money for her. She’s not from

  around here.”

Alice watched the fat monks struggle to walk on the wet

floor as they slipped and slid, and their bellies wobbled, as did their stiff cocks. Alice looked at their erections and knew Joe didn’t plan for them to make love to her; their cocks were too

  small.

The soldiers had found a room with a bed and dropped

  her on it.

“Please don’t hurt her, boys,” Joe pleaded as he followed

  her into the room.

“So what now, Joe, you stand there and watch them while

they’ll have their wicked way with me?” Alice asked. Before she

could say anymore, the two soldiers had disrobed and stood

naked in front of her. Alice liked what she could see. “Ok, you

got me turned on, they’re good-looking guys, but I still want

  out.”

“Don’t be rough with her boys, please.” Joe, the Magic

Man, felt he was fighting a losing battle with Alice, as he tried to

get her to take more than a glance at their erections.

“Get out, old man.” One of the soldiers pushed Joe out

into the hallway. “We don’t want a Peeping Tom to put you off,

  do we, lass?”

Alice was sitting up in a makeshift bed, looking at two

gorgeous, naked men. She couldn’t take her eyes off them as she

hollered to Joe, “Ok, so you think by not watching me that I’ll

give in to these two hunks?” Alice jumped up, determined not to

give in to him. She pushed past them and pulled the door open,

still shouting at Joe: “I said, I want out, so can…” Alice suddenly

came awake and was staring up at her bedroom ceiling. “Joe?”

She looked around her room. John was snoring away. “Joe? I

know you are still here, you’re in my head.”

The Magic Man jumped up in his bed, in disbelief. She

was awake and she said she knew he was still in her head. How

  could she?

“Joe, if you want to be my friend, then tell me what’s

  going on.”

  “Alice, can you hear me?”

“Yeah, I can hear you. How can you talk to me like this?”

Alice sat up and looked around the room––not sure if she was

fully awake, or this was part of her dream.

“I don’t know, to be honest with you,” the Magic Man was dumbfounded. “This has never happened to me before.” He knew she was awake; he was looking around the room with her, through her eyes, and could feel her fear. “You are safe enough Alice. I’m miles away with my wife snoring nearly as loudly as John.” He tried to get Alice to relax.
/>   “Joe, how come I can talk to you like this?”

“I haven’t got a clue. You’re the first of my clients that have spoken to me like this. I think it’s called telepathy, or something.”

“I know what it is,” Alice frowned, “but you’re telling me that you’re doing it and you don’t know what it’s called?”

“I guess so, I’ve always been afraid to find out more about it, just in case the Feds caught me doing research on it.”

“Well, I don’t like it, it’s freaking me out.”

“It’s freaking me out, too. Perhaps you’re not fully awake yet.”

“Oh, I’m awake all right, and I don’t like talking to you like this, it’s weird.”

The Magic Man found it too supernatural and strange to explain––she should be under hypnosis, she should be playing along with him, not talking like this. “I’m going to break contact with you now, and try to contact you in the morning, to see if I can talk to you when you are fully awake.” Joe opened his eyes and broke his connection with her, trying to make sense out of all that had just happened.

Joe?––have you gone? Alice thought, did I just talk to Joe through my mind, or was I still dreaming, or was it a figment of my imagination?

Alice stayed awake for a long time, trying to figure it out. Her mind was in a whirl. Why wasn’t she screaming the house down and waking John up to tell him that she was talking to Joe telepathically? She answered her own thoughts––Joe doesn’t want anyone to know he can contact me this way. She tried to understand it as she went over her dream.

Joe used me in John’s dreams to punish John. I had sex with Horse, Tony, and Vince. He didn’t erase my memories of it because he wanted me to tell John about it. That was part of John’s weird punishment; he had to let the three of them fuck me, where in real life John would have fought tooth and nail to stop them. It started to make sense to her. The first few nights Joe must have made John and her have sex while he was in John’s mind. Alice guessed Joe had her doing all kinds of weird things in his sexual fantasy, and then erased that from their memories–– that had been for Joe’s pleasure only. Then Joe wanted to show Alice how he worked his sexual fantasy on other women, hoping she’d enjoy them, and see there was no harm done to the women.

Alice smiled. He took me to Snow White’s cavern, and I guess I did enjoy that dream. There was no harm done. And, he had just tried it again with a Robin Hood book, even though Alice had told him she didn’t want to. How he got her into that dream must have been her fault. If she had been stricter with him, she might have stopped him. But now I know how to get out of them, just look for a door and say I’m going, and I’ll be back in my bed. She remembered she had pushed past the two hunks and opened the door, and then she was awake.

In the morning, Alice would tell Joe she didn’t want any more fantasies. They were good dreams, she thought, and I guess I enjoyed them as much as he did, but it was wrong. I’ll talk to Agent Burrows for him, but he must leave us alone to get on with our lives; he’s got to get out of my dreams. Alice had made her mind up––if Joe wanted help with Burrows, then no more fantasies.

She couldn’t believe she was thinking of setting down rules for Joe to abide to when part of her wanted an end to all of it so she could get her life back. However, there was the mystery of how the Magic Man got into her head to begin with. That intrigued her more than it scared her. Now, there was a new, and creepy, experience of being part of this telepathy thing.

Alice fell back to sleep, wondering how it all was going to end.

  Chapter13

Alice awoke to the sound of John flushing the toilet. It was early. She was going to close her eyes and drop back off to sleep for a spell, but remembered Joe saying he’d try

to contact her in the morning. She got up quickly and was making the bed when Joe whispered in her head. “Alice, are you awake?” The Magic Man had been in her mind for the last few minutes and he thought this was the best time to try to talk to her.

“Oh shit!” Alice nearly jumped out of her skin, even though she was expecting him. “You scared the life out of me.”

“Sorry, I didn’t know if you would hear me.”

“Oh, I can hear you all right.” Alice tried to regain her composure. “But I don’t like it. I’ll do this favor for you and talk to the Feds, and then I want you out of my head for good.” Alice was shaking like a leaf. She was scared, yet excited at the same time. She was talking to Joe, who was miles away, just as if they were on the phone.

  “Thank you, Alice.”

“How come I’m the only one you can talk to like this?”

“I can’t explain it, but you can’t tell the Feds about it. If you do, they’ll have you in one of those high-tech labs, wired up, and be asking you to try to read the man in the next bed’s mind. You’ll be their guinea pig. It’s best if you just say I come to you in your dreams, and I let you remember our chat. For now, if I were you, I wouldn’t even tell John. He knows that I can talk to you in your dreams, just like I did with him, but not like this when you are awake, so let’s keep this to us. One freak in this world is enough.”

“Ok, but I want you out of our lives as soon as this is over. I already feel like a freak.”

“It’s a deal. You tell Burrows what I told you, and I’ll move on and let you get back to normal.”

Joe had no idea how they could communicate when she was awake. He racked his brains and could only put it down to that he had told Alice if she wanted out, she could, even while she was still under hypnosis. That’s what she did when she opened that door, and she came awake without him signing off. It didn’t make sense to him, but he had no other explanation for it. None of his other clients woke until he told them to. Joe was just as freaked out as Alice; it was a new experience for him and it frightened him that he had this new power with her. The only answer he had was that Alice had a stronger character and had a more inquisitive mind than all the other women.

When Special Agent Burrows arrived later that morning, she was as excited as ever as she sat down with John and Alice. She had been up half the night thinking of what they could achieve if she could get the Magic Man to come and work for her. The possibilities of using his gift against crime were endless. Alice made her coffee and brought it into the living room. Burrows couldn’t wait to start the questioning. Her enthusiasm was bubbling over as she opened her notepad and smiled at Alice.

“Did the Magic Man visit you last night?”

“Yes he did, and he’d rather you call him Joe.” Alice wasn’t enjoying the visit, and she knew by the look on Burrows’ face that she could tell that by the tone of her voice. “He said he’ll try to help the FBI with drug trafficking cases, or with serial killer cases, but not with the counterterrorist squad. And, also, he wouldn’t be meeting with you or any other agent.”

“How is he going to help if he doesn’t come in and work with us?” Burrows’ exhilaration had turned to disappointment.

“He’s got ways, but he’s not going to tell you how until he knows he can trust you.”

“That’s fair enough, I suppose.” Burrows made notes in her book. “I’d like you to tell him that he should have no fear of being penalized for his past conduct.” She smiled as the excitement came back to her voice. “Could you ask him if he would change his mind about helping our anti-terrorism squad? I’m sure Homeland Security could use his help. There was a twenty-five million dollar reward out for the capture of Osama Bin Laden, and Bin Laden has already been caught and killed. There are rewards for the capture of Al Qaeda groups, and a lot more known terrorists. Yes, they’ve caught some of them, but there’s numerous more out there with big rewards on their heads.”

John nearly fell off the sofa as he sat on the edge. “How much did you say?” Until now, John hadn’t cared if Joe helped the Feds or not, as long as he got out of their dreams, but now, with the mention of big rewards, it made him rethink the whole scenario.

; Burrows went on without answering John. “We have terrorist prisoners down in Guantanamo Bay. Just imagine if Joe could get into their dreams and find out who is close to the Al Qaeda groups? We hope, through the prisoners’ dreams, we could capture Al Qaeda members. Joe could be twenty-five million dollars richer without even leaving his bed!”

Alice was dumbfounded. Her jaw dropped open. John, on the other hand, was bubbling over with delight at this newfound knowledge. “Are we entitled to any of that? I mean, it’s Alice that’s doing all the go-betweens?”

“I’m sure Mrs. Timberlake would be paid well for her help in all of this, as long as she doesn’t write about it.”

Alice had a lot more to tell Burrows that Joe had told her to say, but she was speechless at the thought she could help the FBI and get paid for it. “I don’t know what to say.” It disappointed her, though, that they were going to stop her from writing about the Magic Man because that story would have made her famous, and secured her plenty of work. But now, they were suggesting that she could help them with Joe and get paid.

Agent Burrows was busy writing in her book. Without looking up, she went on: “Okay, so he’s not willing to help us until he can trust us, so tell him we’ll start him off with a simple task with the narcotics division. He can pick the brains of a drug pusher.” She closed her book. “That won’t involve me, but I’ll be keeping an eye on what goes on, and you are to phone me if Joe wants help or advice.” Burrows smiled, feeling pleased with herself. “We’ll let Joe go freelance and run it his way the first time. If it works out, perhaps more departments in the Bureau will sit up and take notice and start believing the Magic Man does exist and is not a con artist.” She shrugged her shoulders. “And, when he decides to join my team, we’ll talk terms then.”

“You still want Alice to keep in contact with Joe?” John asked with an eager grin.

Burrows forced a smile. “Until he joins our team, I see no other way.”

Alice cleared her throat. “Joe said to tell you that he was the one who helped Mrs. Saunders to see the light and confess to the murder of Jacobson.”

Joe, the Magic Man, was in Alice’s mind, following the conversation with interest, and Alice had no idea. Joe noticed the surprised look on Burrows’ face at the mention of the Saunders’ case.
