Really, what was I thinking, announcing the date for Autumn in New York before it was ready to go?! Never again! Anyway, it got done and I’m so grateful for the support I received along the way. This time I drew strength from it more than ever before.

To my readers, (I can’t quite believe I can say “my readers”), the way you’ve embraced A Week in New York and Ethan Scott has been amazing. I’m so pleased you seem to love the book as much as I do. I hope you like this one too. I love your stalking and chatting with you so don’t be strangers.

The blogging community is so incredible and I just feel more and more love from you guys. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

To all of those that spread the word about my books – you are the best. Every like, share, retweet, +1 and comment makes my heart grow bigger. Thank you for all your support and encouragement.

Thank you Megan Fields, Jules Rapley Collins, Claudia Dornan, Laura Hutton, Lucy May, Jacquie Denison, Barbara Campbell, Vicky Marsh, Laura Hutton and Mimi Perez Sanchez.

Thank you to all those authors that I’ve met virtually. I love the support there is in the indie-author community. Karen Booth, Jessica Hawkins you girls rock (and are amazing writers, and so generous)!

Najla Qamber – thank you for my wonderful cover.

Elizabeth London – Thanks for beating me up, being totally brutal and making Autumn in London a better book. You have taught me so much in such a short period of time, I can’t wait for the next lesson. I’m ready!

To Taylor Swift. Thanks for releasing Shake it Off just at the right time. It really has been the best therapy. I’ve danced around my flat, including in my shower, at the song. I see a future philosopher in the making.

To Twirly – you got me through at least seven thousand meltdowns in the last few weeks. Thanks for listening. Thanks for the “f*ck her”s. Thanks for being my brain twin.

  Hopeful

Guys like Joel Wentworth weren't supposed to fall in love with girls like me. He could have had his pick of the girls on campus, but somehow the laws of nature were defied and we fell crazy in love.

After graduation, Joel left for New York. And, despite him wanting me to go with him, I'd refused, unwilling to disappoint my parents and risk the judgment of my friends. I hadn’t seen him again. Never even spoken to him.

I've spent the last eight years working hard to put my career front and center in my life, dodging any personal complications. I have a strict no-dating policy. I've managed to piece together a reality that works for me.

  Until now.

Now, Joel's coming back to London.

And I need to get over him before he gets over here.

  Hopeful is a stand-alone novel.

  Faithful

Leah Thompson’s life in London is everything she's supposed to want: a successful career, the best girlfriends a bottle of sauvignon blanc can buy, and a wealthy boyfriend who has just proposed. But something doesn't feel right. Is it simply a case of ‘be careful what you wish for’?

Uncertain about her future, Leah looks to her past, where she finds her high school crush, Daniel Armitage, online. Daniel is one of London's most eligible bachelors. He knows what and who he wants, and he wants Leah. Leah resists Daniel’s advances as she concentrates on being the perfect fiancé.

She soon finds that she should have trusted her instincts when she realises she's been betrayed by the men and women in her life.

Leah's heart has been crushed. Will ever be able to trust again? And will Daniel be there when she is?

A Week in New York: The Empire State Series – Part One

Anna Kirby is sick of dating. She's tired of heartbreak. Despite being smart, sexy, and funny, she's a magnet for men who don't deserve her.

A week's vacation in New York is the ultimate distraction from her most recent break-up, as well as a great place to meet a stranger and have some summer fun. But to protect her still-bruised heart, fun comes with rules. There will be no sharing stories, no swapping numbers, and no real names.
Just one night of uncomplicated fun.

Super-successful serial seducer Ethan Scott has some rules of his own. He doesn't date, he doesn't stay the night, and he doesn't make any promises.

It should be a match made in heaven. But rules are made to be broken.

A Week in New York is the first part of The Empire State Series, a series of three novellas.

Praise for A Week in New York

“Louise has done it again and created a fantastic read. Totally full of hotness and something you know in your heart maybe developing; nevertheless…This deserves every one of the five stars rewarded and more. Louise certainly can tell a story.” Kindle Friends Forever

“The writing is excellent and you’ll be hooked from the very beginning. I am definitely looking forward to the next instalment of the series. I was a fan of Ms. Bay’s after reading her novel Hopeful earlier in the year and A Week in New York has only helped to make me a bigger fan.” Love Between the Sheets

“One Week in New York is another sizzling tale from Louise Bay! Her characters have real depth and dimension and her story grabs you instantly with its heat. I can’t wait for the next instalment.” Agents of Romance

“So, I LOVED this novella!!! And it’s not that I didn’t expect to enjoy it, but I didn’t expected to devour it. Ethan and Anna’s story, for me, was addicting!! And you want to know why?? Humor and hot sex!! It had me laughing out loud and fanning myself.” Book Bitches Blog

“I absolutely loved this story! I devoured it in one sitting and immediately messaged the author saying I was desperate for part 2! This is a hot story but one which actually has a decent story to go with it. So many erotic books rely mainly on the sex scenes to pull readers in. Yes this one does have great sex scenes, but it also has a story which held my attention.” Fiona’s Book Reviews

“This was a fantastic read and I cannot wait to get the next instalment of Anna and Ethan. This was 5 Fantastic stars for me.” Summer’s Book Blog

“I have to say that this book is hot and sexy and so freaking honest. I loved how honest the characters are with each other. I absolutely LOVED This book. I can not wait for the next book.....” Book Happiness

“Well, I guess its official...I am a dedicated fan girl of the amazing Louise Bay. You can really see how much she has grown as a writer since her debut novel, Faithful. This new series has got me in its hooks, and I am already antsy to get my greedy hands on the next one.” Page Turning Book Junkies

“This book was sooo good. It was short, sweet, and to the point. The sex was really hot. Overall it just had everything. I’m so glad I took a chance on this book… Because it just blew me away.” We Like it Big Blog

“This book is perfection, great chemistry, great sex, amusing banter all wrapped up in an Ethan Scott bow like I said PERFECTION!!!” Kelly’s Kindle Konfessions

“An unforgettable first book in the series. It will leave you wanting more, but not frustrated. It was sexy and erotic, but felt authentic. I would absolutely buy this book, and can’t wait for the next two coming. I highly recommend it!!” Books and Beyond Fifty Shades

“I loved everything about this story, from Louise’s trademark quirky characters to the snappy banter to the unabashed attraction and enjoyment with which Anna and Ethan approach their week. I … look forward to more sexy chemistry and game changing developments in the story the way that only Louise can write it. Five super-sexy stars!” Smut Book Junkie Reviews

“The pain of their inevitable separation was my pain too. It was so romantic and full of longing. Now I'm really hooked and I'd love to read the next episode, Autumn in London. Sounds so good!” Literaria Book Reviews

“I can't believe how much I liked this. I mean I knew I'd like it. But, man did I love both Anna and Ethan…Now, their week is over and my kindle almost went up against the wall. The 2nd novella can't come out fast enough.” Mommy’s Late Night Book-up

“..it's so masterfully done, that it feels fresh enough and hooks the reader almost from the first page. Ethan and Anna are both kick-ass, hot, fun characters. Their chemistry is undeniable, and their interlude is the best recipe for a relaxing couple of hours of reading.” More Books than Livros Reviews
