“All our lives,” said Jeff. “We’re distant cousins. At least, I think we are. Our two families are so convoluted that I can’t keep track.”

She tasted her food, and couldn’t stop the soft moan. “Wow. Holy shit. This is amazing. Really.”

Jeff beamed. “Thank you, ma’am. I aim to please.”

She laughed at his near-perfect Southern drawl. “That was very good, and I’ve been to the south. I’ve also noticed you two wear cowboy boots quite a bit. Is this an obsession with both of you?”

Jeff looked a bit embarrassed. “We watch a lot of old westerns.”

Alaina found it difficult to reconcile the image of these two having nothing better to do than sit around and watch movies with the rumors about them she’d heard. “Okay. Now it’s my turn to ferret out the truth.”

“Uh-oh.” Taj widened his eyes and he shot Jeff a look of mock worry. “She’s on to us.”

Jeff shook his head, his lopsided grin making her squirm in her seat. “It was only a matter of time. Okay. Out with it. You’ve figured out we’re big phonies, haven’t you?”

Alaina laughed. “I doubt that. But I have heard rumors about how you two spend your free time.”

Taj narrowed his eyes. “Tell us what you’ve heard.”

What was the harm in it? She’d just revealed the worst secret of her life, and they’d sided with her. Not only that, but they’d apologized for misjudging her. She owed it to them to reveal what she’d heard whispered in the bathrooms and corridors. “I’ve heard you’re both Doms, and that you attend munches and play parties. It’s also been rumored you’ve topped subs together.”

There was barely a reaction from either one, and once again she had to deal with raging hormones as erotic images of fucking both men danced through her head.

“All true,” said Jeff. “But it’s not quite as glamorous as it sounds.” He cut his gaze quickly toward Taj. “We don’t have subs right now, and neither one of us dates much.”

Her pulse raced. “May I ask why not?”

Taj snorted. “The million-dollar question. We seem to attract the subs who think we’re going to rescue them from their fucked-up lives, set them up in a mansion, and play sugar daddy.”

Alaina nodded. “Yeah. There’s a bit of that going around the complex, isn’t there?”

Jeff looked genuinely surprised. “So you’ve seen it, too?”

“I’ve had to listen to it. Shit happens, you know? But most of it is stuff we bring down on our own heads. I’m not talking about illnesses or things that are completely out of our control. I’m talking about piss-poor decisions and placing our trust in people when we aren’t one hundred percent sure we should do that.”

She glanced around, wishing she’d asked for water at least. “I’ve changed my mind about grabbing something else to drink. Do you mind if I just go and help myself?”

“Not at all. If you need a glass they’re in the cabinet above the spice rack.”

She retrieved a glass, then opened the fridge and took out a can of iced tea. More caffeine sounded perfect right now. Once she had her glass of tea, she returned to the table. “Don’t you think I’m right? That most people invite the drama into their lives.”

Jeff gave her a thoughtful look. “To a point, yes. I think I understand what you’re saying. We can’t all make the best decisions every day, even when we try to, but there are some things that common sense would dictate we steer clear from at the outset.”

“Exactly. And that’s what I’m talking about.”

“You have personal experience with that. You trusted Alex with those pictures and he betrayed that trust.”

She had to avert her gaze. Just like that, he’d nailed her. “Yes. But I didn’t make the mistake a second time. And I never will.”

“Do you mean you won’t ever trust someone again?” Taj’s voice was soft, but it cut right through her. It took a few seconds before she dared to raise her gaze to meet his.

“No. I trust people. Just not with certain things.” Like the story she’d just told them both. She hoped it had been the right decision to do so.

She finished her food, and then asked where the bathroom was. Jeff described how to find it, and she used the excuse to splash some cold water on her face and neck once she was safely inside with the door closed.

Hellfire. What was she doing here with these two? What a fucked-up, crazy day this had been. Her emotions were raw and the usual guard she kept on her feelings seemed to have gone out to lunch. All she wanted to do was go back out on the deck and spill every secret to them. And the most bizarre part was that she couldn’t shake the feeling it would be all right to do so. How could she know something like that? They were only men. Gorgeous, sexy, charming men who had been the object of her fantasies for years now.

She’d never felt this way around Alex. Never. She’d always held something back. The pictures had been a mistake. That much was obvious. But it hadn’t only been them. Each time she’d let him inside her walls a little more, he’d taken the information she gave him and used it to hurt her. She wouldn’t let that happen again. She couldn’t.

And she certainly couldn’t let things get out of control tonight. Fantasies or no fantasies, she had to work with these two every day. She needed to get her feelings—especially her lust—under control, and quickly.

  Chapter Six

When she emerged from the bathroom, they were both in the kitchen and Jeff was already rinsing off the dishes.

  “Do you need help?”

  “No. You relax.”

Taj stood in the great room, next to the kitchen, and in front of an impressive collection of DVDs and Blu-rays. As she moved toward him, he gave her a long, searching look. She couldn’t seem to stop staring at him. Then again, that was nothing unusual. It’s just that she’d never had this much interaction with either of them outside of the complex, and she felt off kilter.

That was probably all it was. She was out of her element. She’d never been alone with them outside of work, and it was throwing her off balance. That was all that was going on here.

Sure. Just keeping telling yourself that.

“Would you like us to take you home now?” He didn’t sound like he wanted her to say yes, which made her pulse race and her pussy wet all over again.

“No. As long as it’s okay if I hang around a bit.”

“Stay as long as you want.” Jeff dried his hands on a dishtowel and joined them both in front of the bookcase. “I don’t suppose you’d want to watch an old western with us?”

She laughed. “Actually, that sounds wonderful right now.”

“Really?” They both asked it at the same time, identical looks of surprise on their faces, and she laughed again.

“Yes, really. I don’t want to go home yet.” Now she simply sounded pathetic, although it was true. Nothing awaited her at home except solitaire on her iPad and a tub of ice cream in the freezer that she’d been saving all week.

“We don’t want you to go,” said Taj. “Pick out a movie.”

She shook her head. “I couldn’t. We’d be standing here all night. You two pick and I’m sure I’ll enjoy it, no matter what it is.”

Jeff took a seat on the sofa and Alaina sat next to him, admiring Taj’s ass as he moved back and forth, running a finger along the spines of the disc cases. Finally, he selected one, popped it in the Blu-ray player, pushed buttons on the remotes, and then The Treasure of the Sierra Madre lit up the big-screen TV.

“Oh good. I love this one.”

  They both looked surprised again.

“You’ve seen it?” asked Taj, taking a seat on her opposite side.

“Yes, I have. I love Bogey.”

He raised his brows and shot Jeff a look over her head. She ignored it and settled back against the cushions, kicking off her boots and curling her legs under her body. She didn’t miss the way both men eyed the hem of her skirt as it hiked up higher at the gesture. She ignored that, too. Let th
em look.

By fifteen minutes in, it was obvious the guys had seen this movie so many times that they could quote all the dialogue, and were bored out of their minds with it. She laughed until her sides ached as they each tried unsuccessfully to imitate Humphrey Bogart’s speech, and then Taj tossed a sofa cushion at her, a mock look of hurt on his face, and she thought she’d pee her pants from laughing so hard.

She tossed it right back, hitting him square in the chest, and he fell off the sofa and clutched his side. “She got me…I’m dying, Jeff. She’s killed me.”

“You’re such a pussy.” Jeff tossed another cushion at him, striking him in the face with this one, and then Taj jumped up and threw the sofa cushion toward Jeff. Jeff ducked and it hit a lamp, nearly knocking it over.

“All right. I think we’re done.” Jeff picked up the sofa cushions. “Alaina is going to tell everyone at work that we act like toddlers after hours.”

“I’m not saying a word about this. No one would believe me anyway, and there would be the inevitable questions. What were you doing in Jeff’s house? Why was Taj there, too? What did you really do with them all evening?” She giggled at the looks on their faces. They were a combination of lust and delight, and she could hardly take a full breath.

It had been so long since she’d held someone in the dark, naked. She was lonely. Lonely and horny. And she wanted these two. She had since the first time she’d looked into their eyes.

But what the hell would happen Monday morning at work? And what would Sallyanne say? And did any of that really matter? She was an adult and so were they. Couldn’t they all just have a fun time and not make a big deal out of it? Just one night, to ease the pain of feeling so alone all the time. Would they give her that if she asked? No strings attached. Just sex. Just for tonight.

They both stared at her, and as she watched the emotions cross their faces, one thought finally broke through hers. They wanted her, too. It was suddenly as crystal clear as the sound of the gunfight on TV and the chiming of a clock somewhere in the room. It came off them in waves that she could see and taste. They floated on the air toward her, the same way soft breezes blew in through the open windows, bringing with them the smell of coming rain.

“I’m on the pill,” she said, her voice coming out in a breathy whisper that she wasn’t even sure they’d hear. “But I haven’t had sex in…” Good God, that was a long time. “In years. And I have no STDs. I’m certain of that.”

Taj picked up the remote and flipped off the TV and Blu-Ray player. Jeff hadn’t taken his eyes off her. “It’s all right,” he said softly, his voice both dominant and tender at the same time. “Neither do we.” She actually saw him swallow. “But we need to know one thing. Are you absolutely sure you want this?”

She nodded. “One hundred percent positive.”

He and Taj exchanged a glance she couldn’t interpret. She couldn’t take it any longer. She moved toward them, not sure which one to approach first, but she didn’t have to decide. Taj pulled her into a tight embrace and planted a kiss on her lips that was so hot she literally would have slumped to the floor if his strong arms hadn’t encircled her.

She parted her lips to let his tongue inside as a moan escaped her throat. One of them brushed his hands over her back and then her ass cheeks, but she didn’t give a shit which one it was. Taj’s tongue raked the inside of her mouth, and then hands were tangled in her hair as well.

She wrapped her arms around his broad shoulders and let her mind go blank, just absorbing the energy and the sensations. She’d never been kissed like this. She’d never had such an intense moment of raw sexual energy coursing through her body. It shattered her emotions and rendered her grip on reality useless. She couldn’t do anything except feel. She didn’t want to. She only wanted them to take her, open her up, and use her until there was nothing left.

When Taj released the kiss, he cupped her face, and the most molten, raw look of lust that she’d ever seen poured from those beautiful gray eyes, holding her spellbound. “Are you absolutely certain about this?”

She let out a gasping breath that included her fighting back tears. “Yes,” she whispered. “Yes. Please. Please.”

Jeff turned her around and kissed her, pulling her into his arms as he did. She clung to him as hands once more stroked her hair, her back and her ass cheeks. He was just as skilled a kisser as Taj, and Alaina’s head swam with erotic images as he pushed his tongue deeper inside her mouth.

When he released the kiss, he gazed into her face with what she swore was gratitude in those dark eyes, and that did it. The tears spilled over her lashes. The corners of his mouth lifted as he gently wiped them away. “It’s all right,” he whispered. “It’s okay.”

“I know. I’m just overwhelmed. In a good way.”

“I know. So are we.” He picked her up and carried her over to the sofa, then gently laid her down and climbed on top of her. As he kissed her again, she watched Taj peel off his clothes, and nearly came at the sight of his naked body.

He was tanned, muscled, with tats all over his torso and upper arms, and she couldn’t stop gawking. When he removed his jeans and boxers, a thick, red dick popped out, and Alaina moaned into Jeff’s mouth. Taj smiled, and then he tapped Jeff on the shoulder. “My turn.”

Jeff moved off her, shot Taj a disgusted look, then removed his clothes as Taj straddled her chest, smiling down into her eyes. She didn’t know where to look first. Taj’s cock was inches from her chin, but Jeff’s naked body was a sight for sore eyes as well. He was just as tanned, muscled, and beautiful as Taj, and his dick just as yummy-looking. The thought of both those cocks inside her at once was too much for her to take, so she merely stretched her arms overhead.

“I’m yours. Both of you. Please fuck me.”

They actually high-fived each other, and that made Alaina laugh. But her giggles soon turned to loud moans as Taj played with her nipples through her top. When he reached underneath it and unhooked her bra, she reached for the buttons, but he caught both her hands in one of his. She gasped at the look on his face. It was a mixture of dominance and humor, and it made her want to kneel at his feet and call him “Sir.”

“I’ll take care of that. We’ll put those hands to good use in a moment.”

Jeff knelt next to her and began to unbutton her blouse. “Either that or we’ll tie her wrists together to keep them out of the way.”

“Yes.” She would have put a hand over her mouth if Taj wasn’t still holding onto her wrists. “You can do that if you want to.”

They exchanged a glance, and then Jeff rose. “I’ll be right back. Don’t go too far without me.”

“Dude, hurry up. For God’s sake. How much fucking self-control do you think I have?”

She giggled at the way Jeff rolled his eyes, and then she turned her attention back to Taj. He let go of her wrists and nuzzled her neck, whispering in her ear. “If you knew all the times I’ve imagined you like this, lying underneath me, helpless and willing, you’d probably have never come to my office.”

Shivers ran up and down her entire body. “Wanna bet? Do you have any idea how many times I’ve imagined this? With both of you?”

He straightened up and looked into her eyes. “Honestly?”

  “Honestly.”

He brushed a finger along her face. “Wish I’d known that eight years ago.”

“I wasn’t ready for this eight years ago.”

He bent his head and kissed her again, and this time Alaina wrapped her arms and legs around his body, pushing her hips closer to him. She wanted him inside her. She wanted them both inside her.

“Hey, I told you to fucking wait.”

Taj released her mouth and sighed. “Give me the fucking rope already.” He smiled at her and finished unbuttoning her blouse, then pulled it and her bra out from underneath her body, and tossed the clothes onto the floor. “Fuck. Wow. Holy shit. You have really nice tits.”

She laughed because it was the kind of
comment she’d have expected from a teenage boy, not a thirty-five-year-old man. “Thank you.”

  “Dude, show some restraint.”

“Can’t.” Taj bent his head again to take one nipple into his mouth, and Alaina tangled her fingers in his thick hair and cried out in pleasure as wave after wave of desire crashed over her body.

Jeff shook his head as he watched. “You do have nice tits, but it’s your eyes I love. They’re stunning. I’ve always wondered what’s behind them.”

Alaina bit her lip as fresh tears threatened. She’d never heard such a beautiful, romantic thing from any man.

Taj lifted his head to move to the opposite nipple. “Her brain. That’s what behind her eyes.”

“He has no romance in his soul.” Jeff stood at her head and grasped her wrists, pulling them overhead. “Do you know what a safeword is?”

She could barely think let alone process what he’d just asked. “Yes.”

“Yours is red. You call it, we stop, no questions asked. Okay?”

“Yes. Okay.” Shock waves of electricity shot straight to her soaking wet pussy with each suckle or tiny nip that Taj planted on her nipples. She was out of her mind with need. Jeff tied her wrists together with a soft piece of rope, and Alaina simply tried to keep breathing. She’d never been so aroused in her life.

This was what she’d fantasized about for eight years. And if Alex hadn’t been fired, or Sallyanne not acted like an ass, none of this would have happened. She’d have to remember to thank her boss on Monday morning.

Once Jeff had her wrists bound together, Taj moved lower to remove her skirt and panties. “Oh, nice. Shaved kitty-cat.”

“I don’t know why I do that.” She felt so damn foolish. As if she’d had a reason all these years to give a shit whether or not she had pubic hair.

Taj bent down and licked each side of her labia. “I don’t question such things. I just go for it.” He spread her legs gently and repositioned himself between them. When he began to lick and suck her clit, she arched her hips toward him, crying out loudly. She was going to come in a matter of seconds. There was no way to hold it off.
