The Virgin Actress: A Billionaire and Virgin Romance Page 10

I tilt my head up to him and kiss him. “Thanks. You’re not so bad yourself, you know.” I tease, swatting him with my hand.

“I’m going to get some water. Do you want anything?” Blake stands up from bed, his muscular and lean body towering over me. What I would give to stay with him forever. This has been so magical and he’s made me feel so special, even though I’m just a silly girl he hired to play his fiancée so he could close a business deal.

“Some water would be great, thanks.”

I stretch out in bed, loving the cool feel of the sheets against my skin. Blake’s bedroom is like something out of a high-end interior design magazine, everything modern and perfect. The light in the bedroom glints off my faux-engagement ring and I sigh. I give it a last, long glance. I’m never going to have a ring like this. So flawless and beautiful and expensive.

“What?” Blake’s forehead creases with concern as he walks back to me, carrying two bottles of imported water. “Are you okay?”

“Oh, I’m fine. I suppose I should return this to you, now.” I sit up in bed, wrapping the sheet around me. I give a last look at the ring on my finger and then twist it off. “The job is finished, right?” I hold the ring out and he takes it from me.

“Yes. Yes, it is. Here,” Blake’s voice is quiet and thoughtful as he hands me a bottle of water. “I’ll be back in a moment, I need to get something.”

I take a long gulp of the water, not having realized how thirsty I’d become.

“Since you’ve given me back this ring, how about if I replace it with this one, instead?”

Blake holds out a fancy black velvet box and I swear my heart can’t decide if it’s going to jump out of my chest or just stop altogether. There is no way that can be what it looks like!

“I know this is fast,” Blake’s voice wavers and he speaks quickly. “You have come out of nowhere and taken my life by storm. I thought I was happy on my own, but you’ve shown me how wrong I was. I thought I could charge through the world, taking what I wanted and leading my life without any serious attachments.” He pauses and kneels next to me on the bed. “Camellia White, you have shown me what was missing from my life and words don’t even exist to describe how much I love you, how much I want you by my side, now and forever.”

“I… I don’t know what to say.” I’m scared to touch the box, that this might be some cruel trick or hallucination.

“Are you going to open the box?” Blake’s voice is tight.

I take the box and open it. I’m pretty sure my mouth totally falls open. Inside is the hugest, most sparkling and beautiful diamond ring I have ever seen. It’s a big square diamond, surrounded by what looks like a hundred smaller diamonds.

“Camellia, will you be my wife, be by my side forever?”

I look up at Blake, tears in my eyes. This is so much more than I could have even dreamed for!

“Yes! Oh my, God, yes! I love you!”

Blake takes the ring out of the box and slides it on my finger.

  “I love you, too.”

He took my freedom. Now I’ll take his daughter.

Lily Prescott used to strut around my office, flaunting her curves and her mile-high legs. Begging me to bend her over my desk.

I ached for her, but she was off-limits. Her father was my business partner, someone I called a friend.

For three years, I’ve been in prison. And all I can think about is what I’m going to take from him.

  Her.

That luscious body will finally be mine, and I won’t be gentle.

But Lily’s sweeter than I remember, and her innocence is chipping away at a part of my heart I thought had hardened forever.

Except it’s not revenge if you fall in love. So I have to take her, just the way I’d planned.

And to hell with my heart…

  About the Author

Virginia Sexton has been travelling her whole life - Europe, North America, the South Pacific - and prefers to call all of them home. She wrote and illustrated her first story, “The Banana Boat,” at age eight. To this day, it is one of her most cherished possessions.

Virginia has two writing companions, her cats, Pepper and Max, and enjoys sending pictures of them to her friends when she should be writing. Her hobbies include photography, salsa dancing, and cooking — especially if the recipe involves ham or she’s whipping up a batch of homemade marshmallows.

She loves strong, sexy men who smoke cigars, drink cognac, and know how to treat a lady… especially when she’s been naughty. Lighting a candle and burning some jasmine incense helps her get in the mood… for the next book.

Virginia writes the kind of stories she enjoys reading — steamy romances that always end with happily-ever-afters. She loves making an accomplished alpha fall hard for his perfect match, and thinks it’s delicious when he must work to win over her heart, while also making her knees go weak and leaving her breathless in all the right ways.
