Her muscles weren’t relaxed or stretched yet, so as he slid in, it was a bit painful. Addison gasped and then drew out a long moan. Joe’s only reaction was to increase his pumping. He gripped her hips ruthlessly, pulling her body back to meet his solid thrusts.

Addison let out another moan as her body finally started to relax around his cock. She was exceedingly wet. She had the brief thought that his unkindness was actually making her want him more. She didn’t have time to contemplate the reasons why. Behind her, Joe let out a masculine grunt while increasing the speed and force with which he slammed into her.

Her face was rubbing harshly against the bedspread. She started to push herself up onto her hands but was halted almost immediately. Addison huffed out a breath with a soft whine as Joe moved both hands from her hips, up to just under her shoulder blades. As he leaned his body farther over her, he pressed her body into the mattress.

Addison soon found it difficult to take in a full breath. A few more rushed moans came from her mouth. This callous and ruthless taking was causing her clit to pulsate and Addison could feel the orgasm sitting just on the edge.

“Make yourself cum. I want to feel it.” Joe spoke between heavy breathing.

Addison wondered if this was for the pleasure or if he wanted her to get this step out of the way so he didn’t have to make her climax after. She had never climaxed by sex alone. She always needed clit stimulation, and this usually came after.

At the moment, she didn’t really care about the reasoning behind it. She wanted that orgasm to spill out. Joe let up on her back just a fraction so she could maneuver one hand down, under her stomach.

Addison started to press firm circles into her clit with two fingers. Her button was tingling intensely and she knew she was close. She wouldn’t need much time to fall over the edge. Joe must have wanted to help her and maybe himself, too.

As she continued to rub her swollen clit, Joe let go of her back and gifted her one more big swat of the ass. Addison cried out as the heat from her skin spread over her backside and started to mix with the electricity in her pussy. Her inner muscles clamped down on the punishing cock and she was coming.

A loud moan ripped from her throat as she felt the orgasm flow from her pussy and spread through her legs. Her inner muscles spasmed around his penis, which must have helped him find his release. He quickly pulled out of Addison and she soon felt his hot cum hitting her back as he jerked it from his cock. It seemed to her to be quite a lot of cum now coating her back. Her fingers slowed as her orgasm faded and she felt Joe pump his cock a few more times as he grunted loudly.

  “Done,” he panted.

A small bolt of panic chased her remaining tingles away. Why did that word sound like it applied to more than just the sex?

  Chapter Three

Joe was standing next to his desk in just his boxers. God, he looks good. Addison watched him, waiting, but it didn’t look like he was going to finish dressing. He had his hands on his hips with a scowl on his face. Another thing a girl didn’t really want to see from a guy, especially right after sex.

Addison stood from the bed and retrieved her panties off the floor. She slipped them on and then paused to look up at her boyfriend. She casually flicked her long, dark-brown hair off her shoulders.

“I could skip class. Stay here and keep you company. Maybe go for round two.”

“No. Go to class. And you better hurry.” He pointed over at his clock.

Addison stared at him for a few more seconds. Something was off. He wore no expression on his face. He didn’t look like a loving boyfriend that had just rocked his girlfriend’s world. He actually looked bored.

She slowly bent down and picked up her bra. As she finished putting on her shirt and jeans, Joe sat down at his laptop and started typing. Addison sighed as she sat down on the bed to put on her shoes. What the hell is happening? A couple shouldn’t feel this sad after a physical bonding.

  “Joe, what’s wrong?”

“You’ve gotta go. I have shit to do.” He turned in his chair and stared at her.

  “Joe.”

“Damn it, Addison. Do I have to spell it out for you? Leave!”

She watched as his expression went from boredom to irritation. Addison’s mouth popped open to start to argue, but she was at a loss for words. She just wasn’t sure what was happening here. Tears started to form in the corners of her eyes. She reached up and wiped her eyes.

“Fuck, Addi.” Joe turned back around in his chair.

She stood there pondering what her next move should be. Addison made a sniffing noise just a bit louder than was needed. She wanted to see if she got a reaction from her boyfriend, good or bad. Nothing. He didn’t turn around or speak.

Should she start a fight or just let this go for now? Truthfully, she really couldn’t afford to miss this class. It was the final test, but this relationship seemed more important than that, at the moment.

“Fine.” Addison sniffed. “Can I see you tonight?”

“I’ll call you.” As he spoke, Joe plugged in a pair of headphones to his laptop. The room fell silent as The Wong Paulie now pumped into his ears alone.

Fuck me. Addison threw her hands into the air in mock surrender. She wiped the few lingering tears from her eyes and cheeks. She then made her way out into the living room to retrieve her book bag.

As she grabbed the doorknob and opened the door, she paused and looked back down the hall. Was he just stressed? If he wanted to break up with her, wouldn’t he have just told her? Maybe she should put her foot down and say she wouldn’t be treated like this.

Addison again huffed out a breath of frustration and left Joe’s apartment. As she walked down the hall, she tried to clear her mind of the rough sex and even rougher dismissal. It wasn’t working very well. When she got to the door leading out to the parking lot, she almost ran into a bubbly blonde.

“Sorry,” the girl said in a very sing-song way.

Addison just gave her a quick fake smile and exited the building.

  * * * *

After a long, hard, and boring exam about the ancient world, Addison was sitting in her own apartment, trying to get some last-minute homework done. She had read and reread the same Chapter three times and still didn’t know any more about Greek mythology. She just couldn’t concentrate, and it didn’t help that she didn’t care about this subject at all. Just a required course to graduate.

Every couple of minutes, Addison would grab her cell phone and check it for missed calls, texts, Facebook posts, anything. Joe had said he would call, and he knew she would be done with class by six. It was now almost nine. Should she just call him? Addison didn’t want to seem overbearing. She was worried that this needy behavior would drive him away. At the moment, it looked like that didn’t matter. He was pulling away.

“Damn it.” Addison brought her phone to life and clicked on Joe’s number.

She held a breath as she listened to the speaker hum and then ring. She still held the breath as the phone rang three more times. Finally, it switched to his voicemail. “You know what to do and when to do it,” came Joe’s voice.

Addison huffed out the held breath and tossed her phone onto her bed. What was he doing? A large part of her just wanted to jump into her car and drive over to his place. Now that would be overbearing, she thought. Maybe I could just drive by to see if his car is there. What am I saying? Addison was starting to feel like a stalker. She was losing herself.

She left her books and notes on her bed and walked out into her apartment. She needed a drink. Addison lived alone, but until recently, Joe had spent almost every night here with her. For the last several months, excluding the past few weeks, it was rare for Addison to be alone in her bed. This made Joe’s coldness and silence even worse.

Addison grabbed a bottle of light beer and walked back into her bedroom. She sat down and half-heartedly grabbed her book. She knew she wasn’t really going to get anything done, but she took a sip from her bott
le as she stared at the pages.

Just then, her phone buzzed. She had a text. Addison flung her book a little harder than she had intended, and it fell to her floor with a thud. She picked up her phone and was instantly disappointed. Her whole body actually deflated as she read the message. It was just her friend, Erica, inviting her out with the girls.

Addison screamed in frustration into the empty room. She could feel her face getting hot. Her want and need were turning into anger. Who the hell does Joe think he is? Addison knew that she was young, thin, and pretty. Not in a conceited way, but when she did go out with the girls, she would get hit on more than she wanted to. In fact, Joe had made it a rule that if she did go out, he had to be there. Now, it seemed like he didn’t care about that.

She grabbed her phone and dialed his number again. This time it went straight to voicemail.

“That fucker!” Addison said to no one but herself.

  Chapter Four

It had been two days since Addison’s “quickie” with Joe. The only word from him was a short text early this morning. It simply said, “What’s up?”

What the fuck was she supposed to do with that message? Was he just reeling her back in? If he wanted to see her, why didn’t he call her? If he wanted to break free from the relationship, why text her at all? Addison felt like her chest was going to explode. She had so many conflicting emotions and thoughts that she felt sick to her stomach.

The sick thing was, it was working. Addison soon felt the bad feelings drop off into the background as mental pictures of Joe played through her head. His smile, his naked body, his hands on her. Damn, she was lost.

Addison then made her decision. She started to get dressed. She was going to just show up at his place. She needed answers, whether she really wanted them or not. Whether he was angry or happy to see her would tell her a lot. In her head, Addison raced through the speech she was going to give him as she tied her long hair back into a ponytail.

  * * * *

Addison stood in front of Joe’s apartment door and took a nervous breath. This was starting to become a habit. A habit she didn’t want to keep. She raised her hand to knock, but was startled when the door flew open instead. All she saw was a tall male figure stepping into her. Addison tried to back up out of the way, but wasn’t quick enough.

Joe’s roommate bumped right into her, obviously not expecting someone to be standing so close to the door. The force knocked Addison back, but she soon recovered with a few ungraceful steps. Wide-eyed, she blinked up at the man that she didn’t even know a name for.

  “Oh, sorry, babe.”

Babe? Addison had no words. She just blinked rapidly while her shocked face turned into a glare. She didn’t really know what she expected next, but the roommate acted like nothing had happened. Without saying anything else, he simply turned and headed down the hall. The man didn’t even shut the apartment door. He had apparently assumed she was going in. Addison wondered how he even remembered who she was, since the couple of times they met were very brief.

Oh, well. She stared after the virtual stranger and heard him laughing as he walked. That caused her stress level to spike. Was the laugh for her clumsiness or something else? He was still laughing as he exited the hall.

Addison shook her head in confusion before entering the apartment. She slowly and quietly shut the door behind her. Joe must be here. His car was out front and besides, the roommate would have told her otherwise. Right?

She walked over to the kitchen and stuck her head in. No one. Addison then started down the hall to the bedrooms. As she got closer to Joe’s room, she heard music. That same song by The Wong Paulie was blaring from his room. “She slides through my mind, more and more,” the lead singer was screeching.

The music got louder and louder as Addison came to a halt at Joe’s door. She thought about knocking, but then decided she wanted his full reaction. She wanted to see the joy or anger, whatever he was going to show her.

She reached her hand up to the knob, but stopped. Another sound had joined the song. There was a banging, knocking sound. For just a brief second, an image of Joe thrusting hard into her on his bed popped up in her mind. Then fear ripped through her.

Addison turned the knob and flung the door open. She didn’t hesitate and stepped straight into the bedroom. She wasn’t prepared for what greeted her. Her whole body went rigid. She still held the doorknob and her breathing had completely stopped.

As her eyes darted around the situation, her hand started to tremble and she finally released the door. She tried to speak, but only a small squeak broke free as her breathing started up again.

“What the fuck? What are you doing here?” Joe’s voice was strained and livid.

Addison didn’t answer. She stood completely still, letting the image burn its way further into her memory. Her boyfriend was naked, sprawled out on his bed. An equally naked blonde was straddling his cock. Fuck! It was the same bubbly blonde that Addison had run into the other day. She had been coming to see Joe. She was the “babe” on the phone.

Addison surprised even herself next. Instead of running from the room crying, she actually walked in farther. She came around the side of the bed, never breaking eye contact with Joe. She could see, out of the corner of her eye, that the girl looked shocked but not scared. She was still sitting on Joe, with his erection deep inside her. Addison wondered if this was the first time a girlfriend had walked in on this slut.

Addison turned her attention away from the fuck-rabbits for a second to turn down the music. Another thing that must go with the blonde, she thought. “I know the truth but I hate how it sounds.” After silencing the singer, she turned back to the couple.

She spoke to the girl. “So, how long have you been whoring with my boyfriend?”

The girl didn’t have time to answer. Joe piped in for her. “Addison, get the hell out of here.”

“No. Let her join. It could be fun.” The girl gave Addison a deliciously wicked smile as she lifted her body up a few inches. She then gave an overly dramatic moan as she slid down Joe’s cock and back up a few times.

To Joe’s credit, he at least looked annoyed at the girl’s comment and tried to hold her hips still. It didn’t really make his girlfriend feel much better, however.

“Addi, seriously. Leave and we can talk later.” Just a bit of his anger had fallen away. Joe then shifted and gently slid the girl off his body. The blonde didn’t really give any reaction.

“Talk later? What the fuck are we going to talk about?” Addison’s movement became more animated. She threw her hands in the air before pointing wildly at the pair. “Should we discuss your dick inside another bitch’s cunt? Should we discuss future plans for a threesome?”

Her breathing was now harsh and erratic. She could feel that her face was flushed and her hands kept clenching into fists. As she stared at her man holding another girl’s hips, Addison had to confront herself. Did she really want to fight for Joe?

Finally, those expected tears came. They came in a rush. As she stood there, still furious, big fat tears started rolling down her cheeks. Her vision soon became blurry, but she didn’t wipe her eyes.

“God damn it, Joe.” Her words came out as a whisper even though her arms still trembled with rage.

Knowing there really was no other option, Addison turned away from the betrayer and his prize. She started to walk from the room, but stopped short. Addison walked back over to the CD player and cranked the volume.

As she exited the room, the lead singer sent her on her way in style. “This was your day but you can’t get it back.”

  Chapter Five

Addison stuffed her bag into her backseat and slammed the car door with a bit too much force. She then pulled the driver’s door open. She huffed out a frustrated breath while a few tears fell from her eyes. Addison climbed into her car and slammed the door.

She didn’t start the engine right away. Addison rested her arms on the steering wheel and buried he
r head. Giant sobs escaped her lips and her body rose and fell with each one. The betrayal hurt, certainly, but something that had hurt even worse than walking in on them was his response.

Joe hadn’t even acted sorry. This truth was cemented by the fact that her boyfriend, ex now, had never followed her out. Shouldn’t a loving boyfriend, even one that had been cheating, at least run after her? He hadn’t, and he hadn’t even contacted her. It had been three days since the “encounter,” with nothing from him.

No apology, no explanation, not even a dismissal. Nothing. It tore her heart even further apart to know she was so replaceable. Obviously, Joe didn’t miss her. Obviously, Joe had never loved her. More ugly sobs came from her chest as the full realization sank in.

After what seemed like an hour, Addison finally lifted her head and started to dry her eyes with a tissue. She took a couple of deep breaths and started to work on changing her attitude. She would certainly be better off without Joe. If it was so easy for him to cheat on her, he would probably do it to the new chick.

Addison squared her shoulders and started her dated sedan. Being a college student, she was driving a hand-me-down from her grandmother. It was better than nothing, she guessed. As the last few sniffles came from her, Addison started to pull out of her apartment parking lot.

She was heading home for a while. She just needed to get away from anything and anyone that reminded her of Joe and his disloyalty. As she drove, her mind wandered to yesterday. The final straw had come when she was picking up a quick lunch. As she sat down with her sandwich, she noticed a few of Joe’s friends were also eating there. Addison had tried to ignore them and act like she didn’t see them. They were not so subtle in their reaction to her.

“Finally caught on, did you, caboose?” one very tactful male yelled.
